Mother Crowd Surfs Her Baby At Flo Rida Concert

Concerts are one of the most unique atmospheres to experience. From the moshpits to singing songs word for word the artist a mere few hundred feet away, seeing the choreography and set pieces, it is a one-of-a-kind event. This most recent Flo Rida performance had all of that and then some with a baby thrown in the mix. The Carol City, Florida-born rapper made his appearance at a music festival in Erie, Pennsylvania called CelebrateErie, which was three days.

Flo Rida was the second show on August 19 and he had the crowd rocking. In the YouTube video below you can see everyone having a great time with the hitmaker having fun with his set. However, what follows is something quite hysterical but also nerve-racking at the same time. A baby is being crowd-surfed with the mother starting the whole thing. The child eventually makes it to Flo Rida and he does something no one has probably seen.

Did Flo Rida Do The Right Thing?

The big teddy bear puts his mic down, gently holds the baby, then kisses it on the forehead and continues to perform. At one point, Flo Rida even holds the microphone to the kid’s mouth to sing along. Later on, another fan came and joined Flo Rida on stage and held the infant, then took a selfie with them. It is a wild moment for sure and one that had commenters questioning the parenting skills saying, “Concerts are way too loud for a baby,” on Reddit.

What are your thoughts on these parents crowd-surfing their baby at Flo Rida’s concert? Do you think the parents should have left the child at home with a family member or babysitter? Akon Crowd Surfs In A Giant Plastic Bubble

A new clip of Akon rolling over a crowd of his fans has hit the internet. In the clip, Akon is seen descending from the stage on top of security guards before his bubble is passed on to the audience. Some social media users clowned the artist for the clumsy-looking display, however, others noted that the bubble could actually be a smart idea. The Shade Room shared the clip today, and viewers raced to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Crowd-surfing in a clear balloon at a hot summer festival, while wearing a sweater and ski pants is WILD,” one viewer writes. Another user claims that the singer appears to be in “a hamster ball.” “He don’t got a single song where he need to be doing this,” someone else in the comments jokes. Other took the opportunity to bring up controversial comments Akon has made in the past.

Akon Rolls Over His Fans

At the end of last year, the singer received a great deal of backlash for comparing Black Americans and African performers. He claimed at the time that Americans are typically “wobbling, pants hanging half down, bored as hell, half asleep ‘cause they high as hell on stage. But [in] Africa, we wake up in the morning, like look at these YouTube clips of all these kids from Uganda. Like these kids are performers. So for us, it comes natural.”

Van Lathan even chimed in on the controversial comments. “First off, Akon has been on his clown sh*t for years now but that’s another topic,” he began. “When you single out Black Americans for criticism, the ones who have culturally empowered the entire diaspora,” he continued, “you’re sh*tting an entire experience I feel connected to by birthright.” Lathan then called out Akon for “cosplaying like brothers from Atlanta or Miami” throughout his career, making a ton of money off of the same people he criticized.

Usher Crowd-Surfing During Las Vegas Concert

Fans probably knew what to expect going into Usher’s residency in Las Vegas, or so they thought. Yesterday a video surfaced on Twitter of Usher jumping into the audience and crowd-surfing in the middle of a song. While crowd-surfing isn’t anything unusual at a show Usher probably isn’t the first name you’d think of doing it. Usher is in the middle of a residency at the MGM in Las Vegas playing a number of shows in June and July. He’s also scheduled to return to the stage later this year for a further residency in October.

Earlier this month Usher performed at The Roots’ Picnic festival in Philly. Before his Sunday night set fans caught videos of him just walking around the festival. Fans went crazy around the singer as he made his way through the crowd during someone else’s set, much to his amusement. Alongside Usher, the festival roster included GloRilla, Lauryn Hill, Ari Lennox, City Girls, and more.

Usher Dives Into The Crowd

Last month Usher was asked about what his dream collaboration was and the answer was pretty surprising. His choice was the legendary film director and king of mobster movies Martin Scorsese. While he’s been in a handful of movies before his dream job would be collaborating with the Goodfellas director. In the same interview, he made sure not to get fans’ hopes up after a recent rumor. The singer confirmed that there was no plan to release a sequel to his classic 2004 album Confessions. Instead, he’s trying to look forward and come up with new ideas to pursue.

Usher’s last album came out back in 2016. Hard II Love was his 8th album and it debuted at number 5 on the Hot 100. He followed it up with a short collaborative project with Zaytoven called in 2018 called A. He dropped “GLU” his first new single of 2023 so far and his most recent new material back in March. What do you think of Usher crowd-surfing during his residency in Las Vegas? Let us know in the comment section below.

GloRilla Throws Wig At Fans Who Tried To Snatch It Off

GloRilla’s concert highlights continue, as she recently threw her wig at a crowd of fans who were trying to snatch it off. Moreover, the Memphis MC performed at one of her last tour stops in Philadelphia and took a moment to crowd surf. As she made her way through the rowdy patrons, many hands tried to grab her wig. In various social media clips, you can see the “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” hitmaker look back incredulously at fans. However, she took matters into her own hands when she took the wig off and threw it in the crowd.

In fact, she even referenced the occasion in a cheeky tweet published shortly after her show. “Dey tried to take my wig while I was crowd surfing so I snatched it off & threw it in da crowd,” she wrote. After posting some laughing emojis, she added, “Philly was lit.” Furthermore, this is part of a recent saga of Glo’s noteworthy performance moments, ranging from the outstanding to the unfortunate. For example, Cardi B recently came out at the 23-year-old’s concert at her home city of New York. Of course, they performed their recent hit “Tomorrow 2” together to an overjoyed audience.

Another instance of GloRilla’s live stardom occurred when Moneybagg Yo gifted her an iced-out Bread Gang Entertainment chain on stage. However, not all of her exploits resulted in triumphant moments. When patrons discovered that Glo was hosting and not performing at an Oakland nightclub, they threw water on her as she walked by. Afterwards, both her and label boss Yo Gotti responded to the incident, and also to promoters blaming them for not fulfilling their performance agreement.

“$30K to perform,” Gotti posted on Instagram with crying-laughing emojis. “[You] must [have] booked Lil Glo, NOT Big Glo #CMG.” On her end, Glo tweeted “Ain’t no ho spit on s**t!!!!!! Ask dat ho how ha face feel doe. No way you think I’m performing when you paid for a hosting, crazy tail self.” Since then, stories around her tour have been much more positive. Regardless, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on GloRilla.
