Usher Gets Up Close & Personal With Kimora Lee Simmons During Las Vegas Residency: Watch

If there’s one thing Usher’s Las Vegas residency stint has confirmed to fans, he’s just as much of a ladies’ man as ever. Since embarking on his latest round of shows in Sin City, the Houston native has surprised his audience with plenty of beautiful celebrity guests, from Teyana Taylor to Yung Miami. He’s been known to serenade a special select few attendees, and while Kim Kardashian previously got the star treatment, this weekend it was her friend who caught Usher’s attention.

As TMZ reports, Baby Phat designer Kimora Lee Simmons joined the socialite and her sister, Khloé, at the “OMG” hitmaker’s concert on Saturday (April 29). When Usher spotted them in the crowd, he didn’t hesitate to make the 47-year-old the object of his affection, singing to her while other patrons gazed on in envy. The fashionista didn’t hesitate to touch on the performer’s abs as he stood over her, and the younger Kardashian looks to have gotten in on the action as well. While it may be too close for comfort for some, Simmons and Usher are no strangers.

Usher Serenades Kimora Lee Simmons

She and the father of four previously worked together on his “Nice & Slow” visual several decades ago, in which things also got steamy. While Kim’s friends enjoyed the flirtatious action, she appears to have sat back and taken in the show, despite her very-much single status. This marks the SKIMS founder’s second weekend in a row visiting Vegas to watch Usher perform, proving just how much of a die-hard fan she is. Kardashian initially planned to catch a show some time back but ultimately had to postpone. Thankfully, she still got to experience a first-hand serenade from the vocal legend himself.

While the ongoing performances are certainly taking up much of his schedule, the 47-year-old has made it clear that he has his sights set on even bigger things. Just last week, he said he’s hoping to throw his hat in the ring to follow up Rihanna’s legendary Super Bowl Halftime show. Confirmation has yet to come, but it would surely be one for the books. Watch Kimora Lee Simmons’ appearance in Usher’s 1998 music video below. Afterward, tell us if you’ve been enjoying his Las Vegas residency antics so far in the comments.

Usher Serenades Joe Budden’s Girlfriend In Las Vegas

Usher sang directly to Joe Budden’s girlfriend, Shadée Monique, in Las Vegas on Sunday night during his residency in the city. Monique shared the moment he sang her “There Goes My Baby” in a post on Instagram afterward. In the clip, he daps up Joe Budden before taking Monique’s hand and performing for her.

Budden and Monique are two of many celebrities who have been in attendance at Usher’s Las Vegas residency. Over the weekend, the legendary singer also performed for Kim Kardashian as she watched on from the VIP section. He’s also welcomed several high-profile guests to perform alongside him. Just this month, he’s brought out 21 Savage and Yung Miami to grace the stage.

Usher has ambitions that extend beyond Las Vegas as well. He recently admitted that he hopes to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. “I’d be a fool to say no,” Usher said during an interview with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans. “Well, I mean, you know, things line up that we would all hope. You know, one day, that moment will happen.” Usher also mentioned several famous performances, including Michael Jackson, Prince, and Dr. Dre. He added that adding his name to the list is on his “bucket list.”

Ahead of his residency in Sin City, Usher spoke with BET about wanting to make each show memorable for the audience. “That’s because of the time and passion I put into the art,” he said. “The art is the show, the music is the offering, right? Because everybody’s going to interpret what I’m saying maybe a different way because of their experience or what they feel. But the art of it and the time where I get a chance to give something to people that they’ll remember forever is in that moment. So that’s what I love about performing live for my fans.”

Usher Serenades Kim Kardashian During Las Vegas Residency

Usher serenaded Kim Kardashian during his show in Las Vegas on Saturday night. The performance comes months after Kardashian had to cancel a trip to see the legendary singer perform for her birthday. For the event, Kardashian watched on from the VIP section. She sat with her childhood friend, Allison Statter, hairstylist Chris Appleton and his partner, Lukas Gage.

“C’mon, Kim,” Usher said to the 42-year-old. Kardashian shared several videos of her and her friends singing along to “Confessions” and “My Boo” on her Instagram Story. “Finally made it to see @usher but my girls are mad they aren’t here soooo I just have to come back with them ASAP,” she wrote in one post.

Kardashian’s original trip out to see Usher was canceled as her private plane ride to Vegas was unable to fly due to high winds. “The plane couldn’t land due to the wind so looks like our Carbone party and @usher concert isn’t happening and we are heading back home,” Kardashian explained at the time. She ended up celebrating with her friends at an In-N-Out Burger.

Usher’s latest Las Vegas residency has been a star-studded affair in recent days. Yung Miami, 21 Savage, Teyana Taylor, and more have made appearances. Ahead of his latest stint in Sin City, Usher spoke with BET about his love for performing in front of his fans and giving memorable shows.

Yung Miami Performs At Usher’s Las Vegas Residency

Usher brought out Yung Miami to perform their 2022 collaboration, “Good Love,” during a show for his residency in Las Vegas, earlier this week. The City Girls rapper shared pictures from the night on Instagram, Saturday.

“Vegassss!!!!!!” Yung Miami wrote in the caption of the post, which features several photos of her behind the scenes as well as on stage. Usher commented with several fire emojis while Saweetie replied with a heart eyes emoji.

Miami is far from the first celebrity Usher brought out for his Las Vegas residency. Back in March, the singer honored Queen Latifah at the event. During his first residency in the city, he also welcomed Diddy on stage. Ahead of his latest stint in Sin City, Usher spoke with BET about his love for performing in front of his fans and giving a memorable shows.

As for Yung Miami, outside of performing with Usher, she’s also working on new music of her own. During a new cover story for The Cut, she confirmed that a new album will be coming at some point in the summer. “Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell! I don’t know, like it is coming, and it will be sometime this summer for real, for real, for real. When you doing a project, it takes time,” she explained to the outlet. “We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.”

Katy Perry Brings Out North West During Her Las Vegas Residency For Dance-Off

Katy Perry just tapped a few “California Girls” of her own to bring out during her Las Vegas concert residency. Moreover, Kim Kardashian and North West were in attendance, with other superstars like Sia and Paris Hilton being there for the show, as well. Not only that, but North actually got to go on stage and participate in a walk-off competition to benefit her Firework Foundation. Of course, she brought along her friends to also dance along and have a great time for the crowd. All in all, it made for quite the zany and pizza-themed occasion, for some reason, although Katy clearly has a lot of fun with it.

In addition, the two actually spoke for a brief moment on stage before the dance-off. In fact, that’s when North West asked Katy Perry if she could bring her friends along for the event. Regardless, the “Roar” singer said that she’s a big fan of North’s TikTok account and said that she wanted her to show off her dancing to the whole world. Then, Perry asked the 9-year-old what she wants to be when she grows up. North West, in equally wise and innocent fashion, replied “Everything.” She really is her parents’ daughter.

North West Wants To Be “Everything” When She Grows Up

What’s more is that Kim Kardashian was moved to the front row in order to see her daughter on stage. Everyone cheered for her, and it made for yet another sweet family moment for North West and Kim. In other Katy Perry news, she recently started a family of her own with Orlando Bloom. Back in August of 2020, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom. Moreover, it seems like the couple has decided to keep Daisy away from the public eye for the most part.

Also, she recently had an emotional moment as a judge on American Idol, as one of the contestants went through a traumatic school shooting experience in their hometown. It’s a crisis that continues to affect the nation in monumental ways, much to the detriment of the youth and of general public safety. While many might’ve seen it as a little too dramatized for a TV show, it still spoke powerfully to how these events permeate into the everyday. Not to end things on a low note, but Katy’s often tried to be as upfront about these things as possible while committing to spreading messages of positivity and love. Usher Lets 21 Savage Sing “My Boo” During Vegas Show

Usher’s Las Vegas residency has brought forth plenty of memorable moments, but this has to take the cake. Moreover, the R&B superstar spotted 21 Savage in the crowd during his show, telling him, “You know you love singing R&B and s**t.” While the Atlanta MC hesitated at first, Usher approached him with a mic and invited him to let his heart fly over his Alicia Keys collab “My Boo,” an absolute classic. Although 21 doesn’t have the greatest vocal chops in the world, you got to give him some props for being passionate, brave, charismatic, and for performing for a whole arena of fans that paid for nothing but R&B greatness.

Of course, the “My Choppa Hate N***as” MC has often displayed his deep love of soulful rhythm and blues. Just this week, he went on Instagram Live and sang along to Beyoncé’s version of the song “I’d Rather Go Blind,” originally written by Ellington Jordan and first recorded by the one and only Etta James. 21 Savage’s fandom has also manifested into his songs’ sample choices, the melodies he chooses, and other factors. However, it wasn’t the only event that the 30-year-old popped out at recently.

21 Savage Sings “My Boo” To A Crowd Of Thousands

For Coachella’s first weekend, 21 Savage joined Metro Boomin on stage for the latter’s stage-closing (and stunning) performance. Alongside fellow Metro collaborators The Weeknd, Diddy, Future, and Don Toliver, the Slaughter Gang head honcho was an energetic and larger-than-life stage presence thanks to the elaborate set-up. Not only did he perform his tracks from the producer’s HEROES & VILLAINS, but classic cuts from the Savage Mode series and other Metro collaborations.

In addition to that star-studded display this weekend, 21 Savage previously popped out at the Dreamville Festival during the first weekend of April. In addition, acts like Lil Wayne, GloRilla, and Lil Uzi Vert were surprise additions to the stacked North Carolina festival roster. With all this in mind, it makes so much sense that a few years ago, 21 built (and, to this day, maintained) a reputation as a cold-blooded feature killer. Now that his appearances always seem to excite, entertain, and exceed expectations, that unique artistic ability is clearer than ever. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on 21 Savage and Usher. Also, check out another angle of the R&B team-up down below.

Usher Announces 15 Additional Dates For Las Vegas Residency

Usher just announced 15 additional dates for his residency in Las Vegas, which will run from February to October this year. Moreover, the R&B star will perform a staggering 44 shows at the prestigious Park MGM, at Dolby Live. Furthermore, the My Way residency will give fans shows all throughout the year. Of course, Usher found incredible success in the past two years from his residency in Vegas, much like other artists such as Britney Spears and Mariah Carey. While he switched venues from Caesars Palace to the MGM, he’ll likely still grace fans with a fantastic spectacle.

“It’s that time again!” he wrote in the additional dates announcement via Twitter to his fans. “VEGAS, I’m back! By popular demand, I’ve added 15 NEW shows to my Vegas Residency through October 2023!“ Overall, Usher decided to capitalize on the momentum and make this even more of an event. If you’re interested in tickets, these latest shows will go on public sale on February 25th at 10am PT. Meanwhile, fan presale tickets for the new shows go live on the 22nd of February, also at 10am PT. Also, if you want that presale password, go ahead and text (404) 737-1821.

Usher’s New Residency Dates

Furthermore, Usher’s next show is this Friday, February 24th, followed by another on Saturday and three more the following week. In addition to these new shows, the 44-year-old also excited fans with the recent promise of new music. Moreover, he teased an upcoming single titled “GLU,” and its music video starring Lori Harvey. While he didn’t share a release date for his next musical outing, at least he has a whole nine months to work it out before his residency ends. In fact, maybe he can test it out with his adoring audience.

Meanwhile, the soulful superstar also jokingly responded to G Herbo’s claims that he’s a better singer. After sharing his rendition of Usher’s “Superstar,” the Chicago rapper gassed himself up. “That was decent, wasn’t it, though?” he stated. “That was decent. That boy good!” captioning the video with “@usher can’t f**k wit me on my worse day.” His response. A simple cap emoji. Whether you’re looking forward to his new shows or new music, return to HNHH for the latest on Usher.
