Kehlani Posts Flirty TikTok With New GF Kiara Russell

Kehlani’s love life is always a fascinating topic of discussion. For most of her career, she’s dated high-profile stars of both genders. Early on in her career, she had flings with NBA star Kyrie Irving, fellow R&B singer PARTYNEXTDOOR, and rapper YG. Then last year, she dated blossoming alternative singer 070 Shake, though they broke up in late September. Now, her newest boo is another sports figure. In December she subtly revealed that she was in a relationship with Kiara Russell. Russell, who is turning 25 in March, is a former Division I women’s basketball player. Since graduating from Arizona State University, she landed a job as an assistant for UConn women’s team.

While in this new relationship, Kehlani has still stayed busy at work. On Feb. 19, she took to Instagram to announce an upcoming studio album titled SweetSexySavage 2.0. while there is currently no release date or track list for the project, Kehlani declaring it “album time” in her caption means it could be on the way soon. This project would be a sequel to her debut album from 2017 SweetSexySavage. While it’s unclear who else could be included on the album feature-wise, it’s nice to know she is still crafting new music while spending time with her girlfriend.

♬ Hey Hey – Radio Edit – Polo Frost

When Kehlani and Kiara first revealed their relationship, they did so via a lighthearted TikTok video. So, it only makes sense that they would continue using the app to publicly display their love for each other. On Thursday (Feb. 23), the duo was seen together on the app singing along to a recently popular song. Using Polo Frost’s “Hey Hey” track that samples Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister,” Kehlani and Kiara lip sync the raunchy lyrics. “Accidentally put it in her booty, I was drunk she like, ‘Hey, hey’,” the song goes. The TikTok shows just how much the couple enjoys each other’s company. Making silly videos and showing each other off on social media is a good indicator of a health relationship for the pair.

In a recent interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg on her Chicken Shop Date series, Kehlani said she doesn’t have a type when it comes to dating. “People would say that I have a type, but they haven’t seen everybody that I’ve ever talked to or dated. So I’m actively always fighting that in my head. Like, do I just get on the internet and show them every single person I’ve ever spoken to?” she said. “I’ve got flavors, for real.” While fans may dispute this point from Kehlani, they cannot argue how happy she looks in her new relationship with Kiara. And that is all that matters at the end of the day.

Boosie Badazz Loves Daughter, But Admits Family Won’t Accept Her Being Gay

His comments regarding the LGBTQIA+ community often divide, and now, Boosie Badazz is being questioned about his daughter’s sexuality. Boosie’s rapping eldest goes by Poison Ivi, and she seemingly had a coming out of sorts after sharing a photo with her girlfriend. The rapper made a regular stop at VladTV and was questioned about whether or not he knew about Ivi’s sexuality before the big reveal.

“I didn’t. Like, she used to be with a boy I thought she was dating. He used to come to the house,” said Boosie. “But I don’t think that was her boyfriend, now. You know, I think that was just like, a friend or something. But Ivi got a—our family is real Southern Baptist family. So, Ivi gotta respect for her family and everything for what she does. You know, so her coming out at this age, that’s the time when you supposed to know what you want.”

Boosie Accepts His Daughter, Regardless

“Even though it’s not—it won’t be accepted as far as—’cause I don’t want to think anyone in my family to think it’s okay. But what she does, we’re not gonna—we’re gon’ love her to death. We gon’ love her to death, but at the same time, our family, it’s never been that way. It’s never been accepted, our preacher, grandfather, grandmother preacher.”

“But, at the same time, she grown,” Boosie continued. “She can do what the hell she want, she old enough to know what she want. And that’s her. She’s doing a great job, she’s making her own money, that’s her own talent. I’ve never wrote not one line for her. The girls can go.” Boosie added that he didn’t find out about Ivi’s preferences with everyone else, but he admitted, “I was suspicious.” However, he immediately doubled back and said social media confirmed it for him.

Boosie Speculates About Why His Daughter Didn’t Come To Him First

Vlad wanted to know if Boosie was disappointed that Ivi didn’t speak with him before turning to Instagram. The rapper said she’s never done it in the past, so this wasn’t out of the ordinary. “She never came to me to talk about relationships,” said Boosie. “She’s more of a to-herself person.” He also stated he believed Ivi didn’t go to him about her personal life because of his opinions about the LGBTQIA+ community. “I’m respected in my family,” he added. “What I say goes, and what I say matters.” Check it out above.

Jim Jones & Hitmaka Are Back At It On “Seen The Money”

Jim Jones and Hitmaka have been teasing a new project for a minute. In fact, Jones admitted that he had over 10 projects that he was working on simultaneously with his joint effort with Hitmaka among them. The Dipset rapper’s been on an incredible run over the past few years, from projects like El Capo and Wasted Talent to his 2022 mixtape, We Set The Trends with DJ Drama. Most recently, he came through with his latest Christmas album, Jim Jones Presents: 12 Days Of Christmas. However, it appears that he’s gearing up to make a bigger splash this year.

This week, Jim Jones and Hitmaka confirmed that their joint project, Back In My Prime was set to drop. Of course, the title is a play on the infamous situation surrounding an alleged altercation at Prime 112 in Miami. Though they initially revealed the project to be titled Prime 112, Jim Jones said that wasn’t the case. However, they began unveiling the project last year with the release of “Gunshot” ft. BEAM.

Jim Jones & Hitmaka – Seen The Money

Jim Jones and Hitmaka are officially in that zone ahead of their forthcoming project, Back In My Prime. With the project slated to drop later this spring, they unloaded the latest single off of the project, “Seen The Money.” It seems that Hitmaka is truly tapping into Jones’ taste in music through samples. While “Gunshot” sampled KRS-One, “Seen The Money” finds the Dipset rapper laying down bars over a sample of Alicia Keys’s “You Don’t Know My Name.”

Jones continues to shine his lyrical abilities while providing flashes of his luxurious lifestyle. He further emphasizes this with the official music video that showcases the rapper with wads of cash and yachty-cruising with an abundance of bottles on deck. Check the single out below and sound off with your thoughts on Jones and Hitmaka’s new single.

Quotable Lyrics
We jumping out of Ferraris and private jets without a suitcase,
‘Cause we shop when we land, we got no top on the Lamb,
Hood n***a, all white Airs with no socks in the sand
I used to play with the keys, but the locks didn’t jam

Jermaine Dupri Reflects On Him & Jay-Z Trying To Sign 2 Chainz & His Shocking Response

Jermaine Dupri recently told a remarkable star about how he and Jay-Z tried to sign 2 Chainz and his surprising response. Moreover, the multi-hyphenate artist spoke on his experience with I Am Athlete and spoke about how Chainz’s response affected him. Perhaps that isn’t the right word, but the fact that he refused to sign with him and Hov as a teen left Dupri quite surprised. Furthermore, the Georgia MC told Dupri something that he hasn’t seen much since then. However, he also spoke on how it could’ve been a missed opportunity, considering Jermaine’s success at helping other young artists break through.

“I tried to sign 2 Chainz one day,” the Asheville, North Carolina-born entrepreneur began. “It’s crazy because me and Jay-Z– I was in Jay-Z’s office one day. I call 2 Chainz, I’m like ‘Yo, me and Hov wanna sign you.’ He was like- he said, ‘OG, respectfully, it’s a young man’s game.’ And I said… ‘You do know who you’re talking to, right?’ So when somebody say that to me, I’m trying to find out where they got that from. Because the only two successful teenage n***as to ever come out in hip-hop came from me. Bow Wow came ten years after Kris Kross, and he was the same age. He was 12. When I put them out, they was 11 and 12.”

Jermaine Dupri Shocked By 2 Chainz Refusing To Sign With Jay-Z

Still, his comments aren’t necessarily unfounded, as he went on to detail how instrumental he was to Bow Wow and Kris Kross’s come up. “I brought that energy to Hip-Hop,” he expressed. “There has never been anybody younger than Kris Kross and Bow Wow, that sold more records than Kris’s Kross and Bow Wow. There was no ‘lil’s’ before Bow Wow.” Also, he spoke on how his idea for BET’s popular music video countdown series 106 & Park helped Bow Wow succeed.

106 & Park was created by me,” he remarked. “I went to Stephen Hill at BET and told him, ‘Listen. MTV has a TV show called TRL. They let the Backstreet Boys, and N’SYNC, and all these boys come on there and that’s they[‘re] show. I said ‘Yo, we need this in Black music.’ He ain’t know what Bow Wow was gonna be. We put out ‘Bounce With Me’ and they created 106 & Park. “That’s why I named Bow Wow ‘Mr. 106 & Park,’ because I created the show. I basically told them ‘You gotta do this.’” For more hip-hop stories from Jermaine Dupri and more leaders, stick around on HNHH for the latest revelations.

Iggy Azalea Hopes For Another Collaboration With Britney Spears

In 2015, Iggy Azalea linked up with Britney Spears for the release of “Pretty Girls.” Back then, the pop icon was still under conservatorship. On her appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the Aussie rapper openly revealed how she was down to work with Spears again. “My collaboration with her is always one of my favorite collaborations,” the 32-year-old explained, “I feel like… I’ve spoken about this before but I just feel like there was so much we wanted to do with it and we never got to do what we wanted to do.”

Azalea was vocal about her support for Spears prior to the termination of her 13-year conservatorship. Previously, the 41-year-old was forced to relinquish her personal and financial decision rights to her father. After fighting in court for her rights, and proving the terms of her situation as abusive, Spears gained independence in 2021. Leading up to her win, supporters flooded social media pages using the #FreeBritney movement, which Azalea contributed to on Twitter. In her post, she mentioned how she “personally witnessed” the torment that Spears was fighting against from her father, according to ET.

Iggy Azalea Reveals That Her And Britney Still Keep In Touch

Needless to say, the “Black Widow” rapper stood in support of Spears during her emotional support. Azalea reveals to Cohen that she and Spears keep in touch on Instagram, often exchanging messages. When asked to elaborate on her interest in collaborating again with the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer, Azalea reflected on her colleague’s new circumstances. “She was so limited, obviously. Now she has the ability to do it her way 100 percent,” she tells Cohen. “I love Britney, and she’s so much more creative than what people give her credit for.”

Spears’s first release after regaining her creative freedom was “Hold Me Closer” with Elton John. Azalea shared her admiration for the project, saying, “what she did with Elton was so amazing and I would love to be a part of more of anything that she had to do, especially when they’re 100 percent her own ideas.” To keep in touch with the hottest news in hip-hop, stay in the loop with HNHH.

DDG Responds After He’s Accused Of Selling His Soul

DDG continues to rise in popularity. From his days of being a YouTuber to earning platinum plaques as a rapper, he continues to go up in his career. These days, he’s experiencing a new level of fame, thanks to his high-profile relationship with Halle Bailey. The couple has been going strong, though they recently hit a rough patch, thanks to the powers of the Internet. Rubi Rose exasperated the situation before Chrisean Rock’s involvement made things worse. But overall, DDG had everyone’s attention due to the ongoing drama.

The “Moonwalking In Calabasas” rapper also became one of the few YouTubers to successfully transition into music. Though he continues to release vlogs, he earned a platinum plaque and a number of co-signs, from artists like Kevin Gates to Polo G, who had incredibly kind words for the Michigan-based creator during a livestream. However, it seems that those who’ve been following DDG from the jump feel as though he’s sold out to a degree.

DDG Claps Back After He’s Accused Of Selling His Soul

It seems as though some don’t believe that it was only hard work that got DDG to the position he’s in now. The rapper shared a screenshot of a DM he received from a fan who accused him of selling his soul to become famous. “DDG why did u sell ur soul bro, I’m a follower of Christ don’t say u didn’t I know. My brother it is never too late to come to Jesus,” he added. Your eternal life is much more important than anything in this fallen world…. And if you dont know Jesus when u die u are going to be burning forever just like the rest of those devel worshipping industry plants.”

These accusations aren’t new for any celebrity but this particular comment clearly caught DDG’s attention. The YouTuber hit the ‘Gram with a screenshot of the message before he made it clear that he hasn’t sold his soul to anyone. “I promise y’all I did not ‘sell my soul’ it’s 2023. Just because n***as got money don’t mean they worship the devil or whatever conspiracies y’all be running with,” he wrote. Check out his message above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Lil Yachty Reveals Origins Of Drake Friendship

Earlier this week, Lil Yachty caught up with journalists Brian “B.Dot” Miller and Elliot Wilson for Rap Radar’s latest episode. The Atlanta rapper and producer is fresh off the release of his January LP, Let’s Start Here, which friend Drake calls a certified “masterpiece.” He was even praised by Questlove for the experimental project. The Roots frontman was shocked by what he says is the “most surprising transition of any music career.” It seems Yachty’s efforts to be taken more seriously are paying off by the droves.

During the sit-down, the podcast was curious as to how Lil Boat and Drake came to grow so close. Yachty plays a huge hand on Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss, with production credits on four major tracks. When asked about the opportunity, the wock-star says even a studio session would’ve sufficed at the time. ”Man, I for a very long time wanted to just do anything involving music with him,” he tells Brian and Elliot. He remembers relaying this to the 6 lyricist: “I just want to soak it up and just see how you do it. I want to see you rap…”

Lil Yachty Details His Relationship With The 6 God

After proclaiming Drake the ”greatest rapper ever,” Lil Yachty detailed his cohort’s admiration for him from the start. “He always loved my beat selection[s],” he says. Yachty goes on to discuss how Drizzy would make it a standout point whenever he dropped new music. “And that’s crazy to hear from him, you know? Especially during a time when nobody was really f**king with me.”

In spite of him not having many connections when he first began, things have certainly panned out for the rapper over the years. Yachty’s developed sound is apparent on Her Loss-produced tracks such as “BackOutsideBoyz“ and “P*ssy & Millions.” He also had the opportunity to co-produce “Privileged Rappers” and “Jumbotron Sh*t Poppin” with OVO’s Noah “40” Shebib. If it wasn’t realized by the owl tattoo on his wrist, it’s safe to say the “Poland” rhymer has been officially stamped by the crew. Earlier today, Yachty and Drake were spotted together yet again, this time on a beach as they shared a snippet of their upcoming interview, out tomorrow.
