Lil Uzi Vert Signs Pregnant Woman’s Belly & Names Her Child: Watch

Lil Uzi Vert loves to connect with people, and there have been plenty of examples of their wholesome interactions with their die-hards. However, a recent exchange with an expecting male-female during an autograph signing session with admirers might just beat the rest out. Moreover, as they signed something for a woman, she asked them to sign her baby bump, and the father was excitedly recording the request. It seems like the Philly MC was just as excited for the two as they were, as their face lit up. Not only that, but they also tried hard to find the perfect female baby name at their request, as they hadn’t thought of any yet.

In fact, Lil Uzi Vert was so committed to this that they asked their entourage to help out, and even some fans waiting for autographs contributed. Eventually, they came down to two choices: Pink- which would be a reference to their album from this year that they’re currently touring– or Ramona, a reference to one of their favorite movies and comic book series, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Overall, it was a very wholesome thing to witness. It’s rare for couples to get a blessing from one of their favorite artists, and especially rare for it to be such a heartening affair.

Lil Uzi Vert Blesses A Pregnant Fan With Signature On Baby Bump & Names: Watch

Ironically enough, the “Fire Alarm” MC is expecting something of their own- but this might take longer than nine months, or hopefully shorter. Moreover, they are still teasing the release of Luv Is Rage 3, and that’s not even taking into account their promise to drop Barter 16. No matter how you slice it, Lil Uzi Vert has a lot on their plate for new releases, which is common for their rollout strategy after a new project. But at least fans have the long and varied Pink Tape to hold them over until then.

Meanwhile, even their label is begging them to not retire, and fans hope that Luv Is Rage 3 or Barter 16– whichever lands first- won’t be their last. Still, we doubt that the 28-year-old will completely disappear if they retire. After all, they clearly still love to connect with fans and have a lot of fun. For more news and the latest updates on Lil Uzi Vert, come back to HNHH.

Lil Baby Signs Rylo Rodriguez To New Label, Glass Window Entertainment

Lil Baby has signed Rylo Rodriguez through his new label, Glass Window Entertainment, in partnership with Capitol Music Group and Motown Records. Although terms of the deal were not announced, Variety reports that it is a multi-million-dollar deal. Rodriguez previously inked a deal with Baby’s record label, 4 Pockets Full (4PF), and Virgin Music in February 2020. Baby’s label now goes by Glass Window Entertainment.

DJ Akademiks initially broke the news of Rodriguez’s signing by sharing a video of Baby signing a contract and handing it off to Rylo Rodriguez. Making the news official, Capitol Music Group’s Chair and CEO Michelle Jubelirer said in a statement: “We are excited to welcome Dominique, Rylo and the Glass Window Entertainment team to Capitol Music Group/Motown Records. Glass Window and Virgin Records have done a phenomenal job introducing Rylo. We’re thrilled to support this remarkable artist and upcoming Glass Window releases.”

“I’m overly excited for Rylo and for his fans and the world to really get to see him on a larger platform,” Lil Baby added. “It’s been a long time coming with Rylo and even longer to go! We got work to do and money to get! Thank you to Motown/Capitol Music Group and Universal Music Group for trusting my process and I’m looking forward to a wonderful partnership!”

Baby previously explained why he’s confident in Rodriguez’s future success during an interview with XXL in 2021. He said of the artist: “One thing about Rylo, he reminds me so much of me. He doesn’t call me for anything—studio time, beats—he doesn’t call me for anything and he turns in the work and the work is always proper. So, anytime you have somebody who can do that on they own and handle they own business, you’re already like, 70 percent winning. Once they deliver the rest of the music on time, it’s just like, perfect. I can definitely see him up next. Only thing he gotta do is keep his formula and just keep putting out music and he got it.” Rodriguez signing with Glass Window Entertainment comes following the release of his latest project, Been One.

Robin Thicke Speaks On His Connection To Hip-Hop On Drink Champs

Drink Champs usually makes headlines for their hip-hop conversations, but the program’s most recent guest is one of the biggest blue-eyed soul stars of the last 20 years. Moreover, Robin Thicke recently graced the Drink Champs studio, speaking on his many industry connections, wild stories, and long-lasting career. While many might know him best nowadays for “Blurred Lines,” his laundry list of experience is much more extensive than that hit might suggest. In fact, during his conversation with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, he recalled signing to one of his collaborators on the track, Pharrell. However, one of his more illuminating comments came when discussing his many Lil Wayne collabs, where he spoke on his relationship to hip-hop.

Well, that was more based off of association, as we saw the “Masked Singer” judge talk about that experience through the lens of his Weezy collabs. Specifically, N.O.R.E. asked him how his hip-hop link-ups always felt natural, and how they even came about. “We were genuine fans of each other before we blew,” Robin Thicke recalled. “Like, when I heard ‘Go DJ’- I mean, you know, he was already blowing up. But when I heard ‘Go DJ,’ I was like, ‘This is the next biggest artist, period.

Robin Thicke On Drink Champs

“I told Andre Harrell, and he was like, ‘You think so?’” he continued. “I was like, ‘Trust me, Dre, this is the one.’ So, coincidentally, he just reached out to me. The first song on my debut album A Beautiful World– which it’s the 20th anniversary of- he heard this song called ‘Oh Shooter’ on my debut album. He just hit me up out of nowhere and was like ‘Yo, I love this record. Can you send me the tracks? Do you mind if I do something with it?’” That Tunechi remix landed on Tha Carter II.

“The first time that Lil Wayne ever did The Tonight Show– and the first time I ever did The Tonight Show– we did it together,” he added. “The first time either one of us performed at the Grammys, we performed together. So him and I have a real history together.” Despite his controversies, it’s clear that the appreciation for hip-hop goes both ways. Elsewhere in the interview, he talks about signing with Pharrell, his family’s industry experience, and much more. Check out the full Drink Champs episode above and return to HNHH for the latest on Robin Thicke.

Teyana Taylor Reflects On Signing With Pharrell At 15

Teyana Taylor recently reflected on her experiences from signing with Pharrell Williams at just 15 years old during an interview with Angie Martinez. She inked a deal with the legendary producer’s Star Trak Entertainment imprint in the 2000s. Taylor explained that, without her father in her life, Pharrell began to fill the role.

“No matter how I felt when I was younger, like, none of these doors would’ve ever opened if it wasn’t for P. With him, it’s why I hold him on such a high pedestal. Because I didn’t have a dad, you know what I’m saying? He enjoyed me bragging about him– you know like calling him dad because it was something that he wanted,” Taylor explained.

She continued: “Also, knowing him as well as I know him, it wasn’t a thing that you did on purpose. You didn’t purposely not protect me. It might’ve been a thing where you– you know, he’s so gentle and letting everybody push him out the way. And I guess for me, that 15-year-old, that girl just needed you to fight a little harder. You know what I’m saying? Needed you to maybe push even if you didn’t have the strength to. I just needed you to push for me more.”

When The Shade Room shared the clip from the interview, fans were surprised at how candid Taylor’s answers were. “Wow, that’s deep. Sound like a private conversation is needed between the two,” one user commented. Another wrote: “Feeling unprotected is a real thing every black woman goes through in her life, irregardless of who it may be at the hands of. With no shade towards anyone, of course. I understand this was all music business stuff but still, we be wanting to feel like someone has our back and they just never do.”

Elsewhere in Taylor’s interview with Martinez, the two discussed Taylor’s newest film, A Thousand And One, which just premiered in NYC. They also spoke about her relationship with God, working with Kanye West, and more.

Blueface Reveals He “Hated” Chrisean Rock

Sometimes, couples go through a lot before finally deciding to get together. In fact, sometimes they don’t even like each other at first. Moreover, during a RapTV interview, Blueface revealed that he hated his girlfriend Chrisean Rock when he first signed her. The interview, which was published on Wednesday (April 19), actually gave some interesting insight into their relationship dynamics as well, with the California rapper saying that every man cheats. Despite that take, he actually went into quite the detail when explaining the origin story of his relationship.

“To be very honest with you, at very first, I hated her,” Blueface recalled about when he first met Chrisean Rock. “Not hated her, but I thought she was too raunchy, too weird. And then the raunchy weird stuff started being good for the camera, I guess, so it started to stick. And she had a great impact on The Blue Girls Club.” Of course, since then, the “Thotiana” MC saw the full extent of that raunchy weirdness, but also another side entirely. Even with all their ups and downs, they still enjoy each other’s company. Blueface has actually come around on soon becoming a parent with her.

Blueface Speaks To RapTV, Recalls Hating Chrisean Rock At First

“What it really was she had lost her tooth on the show and I just felt like super guilty about it,” Blueface continued. “I’m like, ‘Damn, I gotta change her life now because I felt like it was my fault.’ Ya know? I felt guilty. Before then, I had no intentions of managing anybody or signing any artists. Not relationship-wise but her being a star going bigger than big, I knew that was going to happen.” Also, he added that he didn’t think that him and Chrisean Rock would end up dating down the line.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old is looking forward to his upcoming boxing match with TikTok star Ed Matthews. Interestingly enough, not much is known when it comes to how it came about, but a professional tussle is at least always fun to see. They had quite the heated back-and-forth online, and they let fans know of their preparedness to fight this Saturday (April 22). Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Chrisean Rock and Blueface.

Snoop Dogg Almost Signed Elsewhere Before Joining Dr. Dre

Snoop Dogg says that he nearly signed with a different label before joining Dr. Dre, but they underappreciated him. The legendary rapper reflected on the situation during a recent interview on the Big Boy Off Air YouTube show.

“Y’all don’t know this story,” Snoop told Big Boy. “I was with Above The Law. Above The Law was about to give me a situation — but they had me waiting on the bench. I was behind Kokane; I was behind another girl named [Mz] Kilo, and I was waiting behind Above The Law’s next album that they were doing. But Laylaw and [Big] Hutch and the whole crew, Go Mack and the whole nine. They fucked with me and Warren G; Warren G was they n***a!”

From there, Snoop continued: “So Warren G brought me to them, and they was like, ‘Okay, we gon’ fuck with him!’ But, ‘Sit down there and play that Madden while we work in the studio.’ And this was when we was comin’ from Long Beach to Inglewood, didn’t even know I was going through a Blood neighborhood on the Metro while Warren G was trying to make a career happen. [Dr.] Dre is about to leave Ruthless. It’s not [known yet], but he’s about to leave. I’m just trying to get on. So I’m in here with these n****s every day. Friday, they take me upstairs in the studio — one of the only times. And they play a dope-ass track for me, and they’re like, ‘This yours. Monday, we gon’ record this.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, shit. I finally get to…I’m on, n***a.’”

Nowadays, Snoop is the boss over at Death Row, having acquired ownership of the label from MNRK Music Group in February 2022. He released in 19th studio album, BODR, through the imprint shortly afterward. He also brought the label’s catalog back to streaming services, just last month. Check out a clip from Snoop Dogg’s interview with Big Boy below, as shared by HipHopDX.

Consequence Reflects On Being “Furious” With Q-Tip For Signing With Kanye West

Consequence recently reflected on his beef with Q-Tip during an interview with VladTV. He explained that he felt the legendary A Tribe Called Quest rapper betrayed him by signing with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music back in the day. Cons had just left the label on infamously bad terms.

“I didn’t get any records for Cons TV,” Cons said, referring to his shelved sophomore album, “And maybe not even a year later, ironically, Q-Tip was a G.O.O.D. Music artist and saying that there was going to be a Cruel Winter, which never came out. That was the shadiest shit ever. It was! I mean, he and I resolved it, but it was shady as fuck. And from the person who said, ‘Industry rule No. 4080: record company people are shady,’ and you did that to your cousin? A n***a who would’ve done anything for you?”

From there, he explained that he was about to become a father at the time and needed support from his family. “He knew I was having a baby at the time ’cause this is when Caiden was being born. I was furious, yo. I was fu-ri-ous,” he added. “I was more mad about that than with The Ummah [Q-Tip’s production team with J Dilla and Ali Shaheed Muhammad] not coming out because this is my block. I put in the work for this block to be a block; it wasn’t a block when I got here. Even to this day, that’s why you see me take the positioning that I take. I’m a person who can forgive, but I will acknowledge what has occurred. I’m not the secret-keeper and I’m not sweeping nothing under the rug — those are two things I am not doing as a grown man.”

Consequence has since made amends with both Kanye West and Q-Tip. In a statement released back in 2011, Cons explained that he and Q-Tip sat down and discussed things at length. “After a very intense & extensive meeting, Q-Tip & myself have resolved our public & private issues,” he said. “With so many manufactured ‘beefs’ in Hip Hop, this situation was very real and shows that their can be resolution through humility & dialogue.”

Famous Dex Signs $5.6 Million Label Deal

Famous Dex just hopped on Instagram to announce that he signed a $5.6 million deal with 300 Entertainment. Moreover, the record label and entertainment company is or was home to the likes of $NOT, Young Thug, Mary J. Blige, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more listed on their website. Furthermore, this news from Dexter comes after his newest single “Where’s Dexter” with Rich The Kid and Jay Critch in January of this year. Given that Rich Forever reunion, it seems like the Chicago rapper is amping up for a comeback season.

Another way in which he demonstrated a career change is his rehab stint following his release from jail. Unfortunately, this is the latest development in his turbulent path to fame, which fell victim to a lot of missteps along the way. Between various arrests and well-publicized and apparent substance issues, it’s been a rocky road for the 29-year-old. As such, many expressed doubt that he would be able to bounce back. However, that move into rehab happened in September of 2021 according to reports. With the fact he’s been lying relatively low since then, many are hopeful that he gets back on the right track, and expressed happiness that this move might achieve that further.

Famous Dex Lands New Label Deal With 300 Entertainment

“5.6m,” he captioned his Instagram post with a money bag emoji. “New deal today God is amazing #wavebros #300ent #richforevermusic.” However, someone in the comments pointed out that he was with 300 before, with Dex himself even replying with “I’m saying” and some crying-laughing emojis. As such, maybe this is more like a deal renegotiation instead of a new deal altogether. Regardless, it’s still likely a positive move for the artist if handled well, as others in the comments pointed out that the label might do him dirty.

Meanwhile, it’s also great to see him reconnect with Rich The Kid after they had brief spat around July of 2018. Sure, they’ve been back on good terms for a while, but it’s another thing to see those relationships last in a volatile industry. Considering these tales, hopefully these are all factors that Dexter turns into positive outcomes for his career and life moving forward. With all that in mind, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Famous Dex.

Nicki Minaj Likes Tweets About Signing Ice Spice

Nicki Minaj recently liked some tweets about her record label potentially signing Ice Spice, which sent fans in a frenzy. Of course, they already lit the Internet on fire after Nicki cosigned Ice on social media. Well, the real thing that set people off was Minaj following Spice back on Instagram and also taking to both IG and Twitter to praise the “Munch” hitmaker. For example, upon seeing Spice’s cover story for DAZED, she had a message for her on Twitter. “Gag. The People’s PRINCESS [crown emoji]. catch it!!!” Then, people noticed that she liked some tweets that read “ice spice getting signed to nicki’s label!”, “now when they announced that ice spice is signed to Nicki Minaj’s record label>>>>>,” among other cosigns.

Moreover, this would be a huge move for both artists. On one hand, getting such a huge cosign from the 40-year-old would be a huge moment for Spice and establish her career longevity. After all, Nicki’s been one of the most dominant artists in the game for over a decade now. On the other hand, Minaj’s newly formed record label could get a huge boost if it manages to nab one of the most buzzed-about and successful rising artists of the moment.

Is Nicki Minaj Signing Ice Spice?

Regardless, fans of both artists and beyond absolutely lost their minds online. What’s more is that their back and forth praise and interactions led many to anticipate a remix or collab of some sort on the way. Right now, it seems like a popular prediction is a remix of “Princess Diana.” Overall, fans can’t wait to see if this is just a sweet moment for the two or a legit promotional rollout for something down the line.

Still, only time will tell what these two rap titans will bring. Another important thing to consider is Minaj’s recently released material like “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” With that in mind, a collab, remix, or some sort of team-up could come from either camp as a favor and honor to the other. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest updates and news on Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.

Key Glock Reflects On Signing With Young Dolph

Key Glock recently reflected on signing with Young Dolph and how his fallen friend set him up for success. Moreover, he spoke on Dolph’s generosity and emphasis on independence in a recent interview with Esquire. While the Memphis rapper bears the torch of Paper Route EMPIRE and arguably leads its charge, he still remembers how the label boss set the foundation. Furthermore, it was family and belief that brought their two paths together. Overall, Glock spoke earnestly about how small considerations made way to a successful rap career.

“It really just happened out of the blue,” the 25-year-old elaborated. “It wasn’t even a plan. I got into some trouble. I got incarcerated. And then close to the time for me to come home, my auntie was married to Young Dolph’s uncle. She told him, ‘You know, Key doing his thing… He just reached out to me and it went from there.” Of course, the Dolph protegé’s success is well-documented and recognized in the game. In fact, he just released his latest album Glockoma 2, which is among the impactful trap and hip-hop albums that 2023’s brought us so far.

“They always let me do me, let me be me,” Key remarked. Moreover, he said he values the independence and commitment to freedom that his late colleague lived by. “No matter what it was. Music or just everything in life. I go by my rules. You know, I don’t mean to disrespect anybody. It’s just how I move. Play by my own rules.” Early in the interview, Glock referred to a sense of confidence that likely led him to that individual hustler mentality. “From my first song, I just had so much confidence in myself,” he explained. “I let everybody hear it, before I even put it on the Internet. I don’t know if they were gassing me up or not, but to me, I was like, “Oh yeah, this song hard.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the “Russian Cream” MC spoke on his idea of success, which is dark but highly resonant. “Success is when you feel like you’re accomplishing things, but you still have this weight on you that you can’t shake. You want to keep surpassing yourself. I knew I was succeeding when I got more hate than ever. When you’re working and grinding, they aren’t going to say too much. Being successful, there’s pros and cons that comes with it.” If you’re interested, check out the full interview in the second link down below. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates from Key Glock and to keep celebrating Young Dolph’s impactful artistry.
