Post Malone Reflects On Becoming A Father: “I’m Going To Be A Hot Dad”

Post Malone says that he is “pumped” for fatherhood ahead of the birth of his and his pregnant girlfriend’s first baby. Malone sat down with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe on Wednesday to discuss his upcoming album, Twelve Carat Toothache, as well as what he expects of being a dad.

“As a kid, I was like 4 or 5, and I had this little baby I would carry around everywhere,” the Grammy nominee recalled. “It was a baby doll, and I thought that was the coolest thing. I would take him around everywhere. And I don’t know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it.”

He added: “I’m so pumped up. I’m going to be a hot dad.”

Malone first announced that he and his longtime girlfriend were expecting in a statement provided to TMZ, last month. At the time, he mentioned being “the happiest I’ve ever been.”

As for how he’s been promoting the new album, Lowe asked Malone about the pressure from labels to get viral posts on TikTok, as has been commented on by Halsey, Florence Welch, and other artists.

“It’s just so hard for me to make something natural,” he said of using the platform, before expanding on social media as a whole. “I just think it’s my personal opinion and the changes that I’ve made mentally to distance myself from that and that’s really impacted my life in a positive way.”

Check out Malone’s full interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music here, and be on the lookout for Twelve Carat Toothache, which is set to be released this Friday, June 3.

John Madden Featured On The Cover Of Madden 23: First Look

Fans of the Madden football video game franchise got their first glimpse into the next installment of the long running series, with a familiar face greeting them on the box cover. The name behind the popular game collection, Hall of Fame coach John Madden, will grace the covers of Madden 23, four months after his death.

The EA Sports title will come in three different versions, and each will feature an image of John Madden at different stages of his life. The newly released cover for the “All Madden” version of the game depicts a young John Madden smiling while holding a football in his hand.

This will be the first time since 2000 that the former Raiders head coach will be featured as the cover athlete on the game. Since 2000, some of the biggest stars in the NFL have graced the covers of the games, including Rob Gronkowski, Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, Lamar Jackson, and most recently Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady as joint cover athletes on Madden 22

In addition to announcing the cover art, EA Sports also revealed Wednesday it’s dedicating a field at its headquarters in Northern California to the legend who died in December.

Madden is expected to be honored in several other ways in this year’s game. EA Sports officials are slated to announce more features in the coming months before the game’s release.

Madden cover athletes are connected with a light hearted conspiracy. The “Madden Curse”, as fans call it, says that athletes who appear on the cover of Madden games have a tendency to get injured or have a lackluster season following their appearance on the game. It started in 1998 with Garrison Hearst, who broke his ankle shortly after appearing on the cover of Madden NFL 99. Since then, 16 other athletes who appeared on the cover of Madden titles have suffered injuries or dropped off in production after their appearance on the cover of the games.

Luckily for John Madden, his cover athlete status will only honor and reinforce his status as one of the greatest coaches the NFL has ever seen.

Draymond Green Comes To Steph Curry’s Defense

Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all time, however, there are still a lot of people out there who believe he isn’t a top 10 player of all time. There is this belief that he isn’t a dominant player and that his lack of Finals MVPs is somehow an indication that he could have been a lot better.

Of course, Curry’s own teammates would be the first to disagree with such an assessment. Draymond Green has been on the Curry defense as of late, especially in light of the Finals MVP discourse. According to Sports Illustrated, Green recently went off on critics who claim that Curry is somehow not a dominant player. In Green’s eyes, he is a defense killer who will always spook other teams into double-teaming him.

“Have you ever seen what he does to a defense?” Green asked. “That is dominance. The whole NBA is playing a brand of basketball created by the ideology of Steph Curry. And you tell me that’s not dominance? You tell me that’s not sitting along the same lines of the greats? I’m sorry—no disrespect to other guards that have come before him—but the majority of guards don’t have an era that they defined the way that era of basketball was played.”

The Warriors are about to take on the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals and if Curry wants to beat the slander against him, he will need to perform at the level Green believes he can.

Zendaya Wishes Tom Holland A Happy Birthday

Zendaya and Tom Holland have been one of pop culture’s most beloved power couples in recent years. From when their romance was finally revealed to today, fans all over have been charmed by their cute posts, behind-the-scenes funny moments, and how happy they seem together.

As if to turn the wholesomeness factor up a notch, Zendaya’s birthday post for Tom Holland is as adorable as you would expect. She posted a simple black-and-white picture of the two with the caption, “Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest <3”.

Tom had made a cute birthday post for Zendaya, too, back in September. The two started dating while shooting the Spider-Man series together, where Tom and Zendaya play Spider-Man and his girlfriend MJ, respectively. The film’s producer even warned them of letting their on-screen romance manifest in their off-screen lives, which they ignored much to the Internet’s excitement.

Zendaya’s fresh off the heels of a successful second season of the HBO hit show Euphoria, but made recent headlines for a much stranger reason. Her representative had to address a viral video of a Zendaya lookalike getting attacked and confirm it wasn’t her. Tom, on the other hand, is enjoying the massive success of last December’s Spider-Man: No Way Home and recently spoke on mending his relationship with Andrew Garfield, the previous Spider-Man, while shooting that film.

Reactions to the birthday post have come from all sides: celebrities, fans, and Tom Holland himself. No matter what Zendaya or Tom’s next projects are, we can always count on the two to steal the Internet’s heart with every glimpse of their relationship.

Happy birthday, Tom!
