Majid Jordan Announce Release Date & Cover Art For New Album “Wildest Dreams”

OVO Sound is coming strong this fall. Drake’s dominance on the Billboard 200 continues, though NBA Youngboy just pushed him to #2 this week. Still, Certified Lover Boy is steadily maintaining radio play and prominence practically everywhere. However, it looks like the label is ready to continue flooding the fall with new music.

Majid Jordan is the next up with their new album set to drop after nearly four years. Over the past few months, they’ve unveiled new singles including, “Been Through That” and “Summer Rain.” Now, they’ve announced their new album, Wildest Dreams will be arriving on October 22nd. The Canadian duo shared the album artwork for the project on social media, along with the album’s title and release date. Drake also plugged the album on his IG Story.

Ahead of the release of the album’s lead single, “Waves Of Blue,” they hinted at the album’s title in a quick promo. “The story begins with our new song ‘Waves Of Blue,'” they said in the clip. “It’s the song that takes us to the place that we all want to be — our wildest dreams. We’re working on finishing our next album, so stay tuned, and we’ll see you soon.”

With an October 22nd release date set, we’re hoping to hear one more single from Majid Jordan before the album arrives in its entirety. Check out the announcement for Majid Jordan’s forthcoming album, Wildest Dreams below.

Boi-1da Is Working On An Album

It’s always an exciting turn when producers step up to curate and release their own studio albums, as we recently saw with Metro Boomin’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes back in 2018.

And while it hasn’t always been the most frequent practice, it would appear that the esteemed Boi-1da is officially moving forward with the creation of his own project, as per an intriguing Twitter update.

A few days ago, Boi-1da came through to break the news, keeping relatively quiet about details, musical direction, or potential guests. “Ok, I’m going to start working on my own project now,” he wrote, sparking speculation on who the producer might have on speed dial. The options are certainly vast — after all, 1da has linked with many superstar voices like Drake, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, and many more.

Upon issuing the tweet, HipHopNMore reached out to Boi-1da in the hopes that he’d elaborate on what’s to come. He responded by stating “I’m planning on working on a series of creative and collaborative projects with all types of artists.”

From the sound of it, he’s either looking to take a similar approach to Hit-Boy on King’s Disease 1 & 2, or one closer to the aforementioned Metro and his compilatory Not All Heroes. Either way, a concentrated batch of Boi-1da beats is nothing to sneeze at, and we’re happy either way. Check out Boi-1da’s tweet below, and sound off if you’d welcome a project from the diamond-certified producer.

Cardi B Takes Over Paris Fashion Week With Another Gorgeous Look

Rapper Cardi B has been showing out all over Paris, France for Fashion Week, bringing out countless stunning looks for the weeklong style getaway. Alongside her husband Offset, the “I Like It” singer has shown off all kinds of glamorous looks while overseas, attending the Mugler event last week before shutting things down at the Chanel store with her golden double-breasted jacket. The couple went on to walk the runway at the Balenciaga show before stepping out in eye-catching outfits at Place Vendome. On Sunday night, Cardi was back out again, attending the Messika by Kate Moss event.

In yet another neck-breaking display, Cardi was spotted wearing an all-lavender ‘fit with matching hair accessories and sunglasses. She dressed up the ensemble with stunning diamond earrings and a luxurious necklace.

This comes following a week’s worth of show-stopping looks from Cardi B, who seems to be the real celebrity standout from Paris Fashion Week. Aside from Kid Cudi’s Givenchy look with dramatic red eye makeup, Cardi’s looks are some of the only ones that have taken social media by storm, with fans amazed that she was able to bounce back so quickly after giving birth to attend dozens of industry events in Paris.

Cardi previously addressed all of the commenters suggesting that she got plastic surgery on her body after giving birth, denying that much and showing that she’s mastered the art of posing for the paparazzi, standing in different angles to reduce the look of her baby bump.

DJ Akademiks Explains Why He Thinks Drake Might Drop Another Album

Drake remains one of the most dominant artists in the world, comfortably holding the #1 spot with his new studio album Certified Lover Boy for three weeks. The project slid to the second position following YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s album release, which debuted at #1, but CLB is already looking set to regain the top spot next week.

Despite this commercially being a huge success for Drake and his team, Certified Lover Boy was not deemed an instant classic by most fans, as some believe the rapper has gone slightly stale. During his recent Twitch stream, self-professed Drake mega-fan DJ Akademiks spoke about how Drizzy is one of the most self-aware artists, which is why he believes he’ll bounce back with even more new music soon.

“Here’s the great thing about Drake,” started Ak. “I think Drake is going to drop more music — first of all, he’s very aware of what people perceive his career like, if it’s trending up or down — I think he’s gonna drop new music in the next two months, facts. Or he’s gonna drop a single!”

Akademiks went on to discuss how some fans have been bashing 40, Drake’s longtime producer/engineer, for allegedly failing to upgrade the legendary rapper’s sound on his latest album. He also touched on Drake’s lyrics about his son Adonis, which some have perceived as disrespectful.

Here’s How Much Money Kyrie Irving Will Lose If He Remains Unvaccinated

It is well established right now that Kyrie Irving is one of the few players in the NBA who is unvaccinated. In some markets, this would not be an issue, however, it’s a big problem for him specifically since he plays in Brooklyn where there are very strict vaccine mandates for indoor events. Simply put, without a vaccine, Kyrie cannot play any home games, and there are no exceptions to be given out.

There have been rumblings that Kyrie could miss out on a lot of money and that he could even be traded if he continues to hold out on the issue. Now, the NBAPA has come to an agreement on lost wages in regards to the vaccine, and it doesn’t look good for the Nets point guard.

According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, players who have to miss games due to being unvaccinated will lose out on 1/91.6th of their yearly salary, per game. If you are Kyrie Irving, this means you will lose out on $381,000 for every single game in which you are unavailable. This is a nightmare scenario for any player, although the solution is quite simple.

It remains to be seen whether or not this is enough to sway Kyrie, although as his aunt said in a previous report, he is going to do everything he can to skirt the rules. With that in mind, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates on this developing story.

Kyle Kuzma Explains Why He Changed His Number

Kyle Kuzma is one of the most recent additions to the Washington Wizards and there is no doubt that he is excited about his fresh start. While playing for the Lakers, Kuzma received a ton of scrutiny, but now, he can enjoy a much more subdued life as he plays for a franchise without many expectations.

Recently, Kuzma revealed that he will no longer wear the number zero, and instead, he will don 33. While talking to reporters via NBC Sports, Kuzma explained that the reason behind this change was respect for Gilbert Arenas, who also wore the number zero with the Wizards.

“Out of respect for Gilbert Arenas… That was probably one of the biggest things,” Kuzma explained. “When you think of the Washington Wizards, honestly the first person I think of, because my generation, is Gilbert Arenas, Agent Zero. Obviously, that played a big part, and having a fresh start. I just felt it was right.”

Arenas is perhaps one of the best players to ever suit up for the Wizards, aside from Michael Jordan. Arenas was a superb offensive talent and to this day, he remains a highly respected former player. Needless to say, Kuzma wanted to make sure he ingratiates himself with the Wizards fanbase, and this will definitely do the trick.
