Summer Walker and Lil Meech are one of the newer celebrity couples we’ve seen take their romance public and the time since has been filled with plenty of drama for them both. Thankfully they’ve mostly handled it in stride, however, a recent situation clearly put some tension between them. Last week, yet another Instagram personality posted up wearing the BMF actor’s chain, leading Walker to DM her for a quick interrogation session. While she told the R&B singer that she’s never met Meech, and was given the chance to wear his necklace while hanging out with security, the woman later exposed the Florida native with more receipts.

Things certainly didn’t look good for him, but the 23-year-old seems to have worked through the situation with Walker. We’ve seen them snapping selfies together as per usual in recent days, and while they’re Over It, the internet isn’t ready to stop talking about the hot gossip. During a recent chat with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson, and her mother, Keke Palmer revealed how she would’ve handled the situation in the mother of three’s place. “She’s not even getting on the line with me,” the former child star responded when Jackson asked how his girlfriend would react to another woman wearing his Eagles jersey.

Whatever we going through, we talking about that like… In the closet,” she told listeners as her co-hosts cackled. When Keke’s mom asked how she would react to another woman approaching her with allegations about her man being unfaithful, her daughter said, “And I saw your man! I didn’t wanna bring it up, but since we bringing it up, have you checked with him? And then we’ll laugh and move on because they’ll know I’m not playing at that point.”

Babyface Puts His Spin On Chrisean Rock’s “Vibe” Song

After being kicked off of Anita Baker’s tour earlier this month, Babyface is ready to speak his truth. The 64-year-old addressed his feud with the female songbird, along with several other hot topics on the latest episode of The Jason Lee Show. Apart from spilling the tea on his rumoured romance with Toni Braxton, Babyface also addressed claims that he hates Beyonce, and covered one of Chrisean Rock’s earliest singles while the cameras rolled.

The full video interview hasn’t made it onto YouTube quite yet. Still, audio can be found on Spotify and other DSPs. In the meantime, a select few clips from the interview have been circulating online, one of which shows the Indiana native singing “Vibe” while strumming on his acoustic guitar. “I’mma do it my way,” Babyface declares before crooning, “It’s a vibe all the time” repeatedly. At the end of his brief performance, the in-studio audience applauded as the host grinned from ear to ear.

As shown in the second slide of @theneighborhoodtalk’s post above, Rock’s original cut has much more aggressive energy than Baby’s version. The reality starlet first shared the song in March 2021 and has since amassed 5.7 million streams on just Spotify. Chrisean has been dropping music fairly consistently so far this year, kicking things off with “Lit” before connecting with Dee Duchess on “Not the One.” Her most recent single, “Time,” arrived at the end of March.

Since then, Rock has been primarily focused on preparing for motherhood and staying out of trouble. As for Babyface, he’s definitely got some unexpected free time on his hands now that he’s no longer touring with Baker. Fingers crossed he uses it to make some unforgettable moves in the studio.

Since coming home, the DS4EVER artist has sadly become something of an outcast in the world of rap. Many who previously embraced Gunna have now turned their backs on him. In face, some have even gone so far as to accuse the YSL artist of snitching on Young Thug. While the So Much Fun hitmaker remains in jail, his frequent collaborator made a triumphant comeback with his new a Gift & a Curse album on Friday (June 16), which is now being followed with a music video.

Gunna unleashed the visual for “i was just thinking” on Monday (June 19) afternoon. The southern star – usually known for taking bold fashion risks – keeps it simple in the footage. He confidently raps over the Aviator Keyyz, Rick Anthony, and Sammy Haig-produced track in an all-black outfit. “I was just thinkin’ ’bout the times I was hard-headed / Thought it was right all along, I was misled,” he reflects.

Chrisean Rock Says She’s Considered Removing Blueface Tattoos But Doesn’t Believe She Ever Will

During her time performing, Cardi brought out 21’s rumoured girlfriend, Latto, to show out during their recent collab, “Put It On Da Floor Again.” The pair’s work has been on repeat for many since it first arrived, and is already an obvious top contender for the song of the summer.

After supporting his wife’s live show, Sunday (June 18) saw Offset link up with his former collaborator Quavo. The pair joined other friends and family for a celebration on what would’ve been the late Takeoff’s 29th birthday. At the time, he was working with police as an informant. The Grammy Award winner’s team has since shut down those allegations. Still, 6ix9ine has been known to throw shade at his fellow New Yorker in more recent years.

Back in February 2021, the embattled star publicly dissed Cardi, and while he was dating his ex-girlfriend, Jade, their feud only became more intense. During a new interview on the Alofoke Radio Show, 6ix9ine admitted that his last relationship is what caused a major wedge between him and the 30-year-old. More recently, the controversial artist has been spending time with Yailin Hablan, who appeared alongside him in the sit-down. The entire conversation was recorded in Spanish, but everyone in the room’s passion and good humour still shines through. According to 6ix9ine’s new girl, both of them are supporters of Cardi now.

YNW Melly’s 2015 Interrogation Footage Surfaces Online Amid Double-Murder Trial

It’s long been said that there’s no such thing as bad publicity. At this time, that cliché is proving to be somewhat true for YNW Melly. As his double-murder trial finally kicked off earlier this month, the 23-year-old saw a sudden boost in his streaming numbers. Consequently, tracks like “Murder on My Mind” and “Suicidal” have been skyrocketing. This has been exciting for both Melly and fans to witness. Nevertheless, not all the attention coming from his ongoing case has been flattering.

Apart from discovering his music, internet sleuths have also unearthed 2015 interrogation footage that shows the Florida native speaking with police about an unrelated incident. At the time, Melly was still a teenager, which has caused some to question the legalities of the recorded conversation between the rapper and the authorities. The 45-minute video is the first in a series of three, though the final two parts have yet to land on YouTube. It seems the next section will be shared on Tuesday (June 20) when Melly’s trial continues.

Clip Of Tokyo Toni Stopping A Potential Domestic Violence Incident Circulates

A resurfaced clip of Blac Chyna’s mother, Tokyo Toni, stepping into a potential domestic violence situation has been circulating the internet as of late. In the clip, Tokyo is on live when she hears screaming coming from another hotel room. She lowers her music, and when the screams continue she leaves her room to investigate. She then bangs on the door of the alleged victim, asking her what’s wrong. Though the woman wouldn’t initially reveal the cause for all the commotion, she later accused a man in the room of abusing her after she turned down sex.

The hysterical alleged victim then explains what happened, and another hotel guest comes to check on the situation. A man is heard from within the room, claiming that the woman is lying about the abuse. Tokyo Toni then advises the woman to gather her belongings and leave the abusive situation. She gets into a verbal altercation with the alleged abuser, telling him that “the whole room” will be getting exposed.

Fans in the comments section applauded Tokyo Toni for stepping into the potentially dangerous situation to help the alleged victim. “The fact that she went to check on her speaks volumes the average person would either do nothing or call the hotel,” one social media user says. Another commenter writes, “I don’t agree with everything she does but sometimes she shows that she does still have a good heart/means well and this one of those times. I’m glad she at least tried to help.” Several others noted that Tokyo Toni was lucky she didn’t get hurt during the incident.

Ja Morant Proved Gun Was Fake After Second Livestream Incident

Ja Morant will be suspended for 25 games during the 2023-24 NBA season. Around three times the length of his suspension in March, the revealed punishment is in line with most expectations. However, this means that the Grizzlies will likely be without Morant until early December. In the wake of the suspension news, Morant issued a statement apologizing for his actions and promising to be better. However, his apology has been met with a degree of skepticism from some people.

Prior to his suspension, Morant’s representatives attempted to mitigate the punishment. Sources told Claudia Jordan of The Breakfast Club that the gun Morant was seen with on May 14 was a toy. Furthermore, these representatives claimed that the NBA had been provided evidence that the gun was fake. That evidence has now been made public.

In a new video released by TMZ, Morant is seen lighting candles in his home with a gun-shaped lighter. This is reportedly the same “gun” that Morant flashed during the May 14 live stream that got him suspended. Morant reportedly made the video in response to family members asking him why he had flashed a gun on Instagram Live once again. Morant at no point argued that the gun wasn’t real before his representatives spoke with Jordan. Furthermore, Morant went as far as to apologize for the incident after the Grizzlies suspended him in May.

However, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has already broken down why the gun’s authenticity didn’t matter to the league. Silver laid out his reasoning while appearing on The Dan Patrick Show. “Taking a gun, live streaming it without getting into gun issues in terms of the propriety of owning guns and the use of guns. I think everyone agrees that gun safety is critically important and that guns aren’t toys. It’s something that I’m thinking a lot about because, again, I’m not going to get into specifics about the investigation. But in fact, if you’re live streaming something to the world that looks exactly like a gun and in a frankly reckless manner, should it matter whether or not it’s a real gun?”
