City Girls & Usher Connect For “Good Love” Single
[WATCH] City Girls Are Joined by Usher for New Single and Video “Good Love”
City Girls return with a brand new single and music video entitled “Good Love.” The new release features Usher.
The new single is upbeat, bringing the City Girls and Usher in collaboration for a single that encourages fans to get out of their section and dance. In the new video, Usher brings the City Girls to his world of a roller rink, bringing in vibrant colors in their fits and on-point choreography that matches the single.
Last month, City Girls made their long-awaited comeback with “Top Notch,” a new track and music video featuring Fivio Foreign. The track blends the City Girls’ brand of sexy Southern hip-hop and gritty East Coast drill.
You can hear the new single “Good Love” below.
This fall, City Girls will join Jack Harlow on Come Home The Kids Miss You Tour, presented by Live Nation. The headlining, fall tour will begin on September 6th and will include dates in Nashville, Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego, and other cities. City Girls will provide support for the tour.

[WATCH] Usher Gives Brings a Medley of Classics to NPR’s Tiny Desk
Usher hopped off his skates and went to the NPR Tiny Desk stage. To close our NPR’s celebration of Black Music Month, Usher, flanked by Vedo, Eric Bellinger, and a live band, performed a medley of hits.
During his time on the stage, Usher performed “You Make Me Wanna…” for the opener before following up with “Superstar,” “U Don’t Have to Call” and “Nice & Slow,” which had a nice piece of audience interaction. Afterward, Usher performed “Confessions” Pt. 1 and 2, before he closed with another trip to the “My Way” album.
You can see the full performance below and be sure to check out the expanded dates of Usher’s residency at the Park MGM.

City Girls And Usher Have Plenty Of ‘Good Love’ To Offer In Their Colorful New Video
The City Girls are back again with a collaboration for the ages, literally, as they call on R&B powerhouse Usher for the “Good Love” video. The visual is full of top notch fashion, twerking, alcohol, and vintage roller skating rink fun. Usher handles the hook, allowing JT and Yung Miami to get their boastful yet sensual bars off.
For the City Girls, this is their second release of 2022 following “Top Notch” featuring Fivio Foreign. They had a very active 2021, releasing “Twerkulator” on their own in addition to appearances on “Scared” from the Bruised soundtrack, Saucy Santana’s “Shisha,” Summer Walker’s “Ex For A Reason,” BRS Kash’s “Throat Baby (Remix)” alongside DaBaby, and “Take Money” with Cashflow Harlem and Jaleel Knight.” JT and Yung Miami’s last full-length was 2020’s City On Lock.
As for Usher, he wowed listeners yesterday (June 30) with his NPR Tiny Desk performance, delivering rousing live renditions of “You Make Me Wanna,” “Superstar,” “U Don’t Have To Call,” “Nice And Slow,” “Confessions, Part 2,” and the title track for his My Way album. As for music that is on DSPs, Usher been a bit quiet since 2020’s “I Cry,” the nostalgia-inducing “SexBeat” with Ludacris and Lil Jon, and “This Day” featuring Kiana Lede from the Netflix original motion picture Jingle Jangle. As for projects, Usher last released A with Zaytoven back in 2018.

Usher’s NPR Tiny Desk Concert. Enough Said.
Usher Makes A Musical Gumbo With An Instant Classic Tiny Desk Concert
Usher had literally decades of hits to pull from for his NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert, so it had to be stressful to whittle the options down to an under-30-minute set. Fortunately, that time in the limelight has taught Mr. Raymond a few things about being an entertainer — namely, to play the hits. That’s just what he did, opening the set with his 1997 breakout single, “You Make Me Wanna…,” the lead single from his second album My Way — the project that set him on the road to becoming the superstar that he is today.
Then, inspired by the viral challenge based on his 2004 Confessions smash, he launched into a stunning falsetto rendition of “Superstar.” Even better, he brought along the singer who helped kick off the challenge, Eric Bellinger, who sang backup alongside Vedo (both are stars in their own rights, highlighting just how big Usher really is). Then, bringing out yet another hit, Usher went even further back to 8701 single “U Don’t Have To Call.” With the horns backing the arrangement, the futuristic Neptunes production becomes a funky, jazzy slider.
And speaking of viral moments, there’s a new challenge in which Zoomers ask each other what Usher was doing at 7 o’clock — a clear reference to his My Way single “Nice And Slow” that embarrassingly few young people have gleaned. However, the audience at NPR’s office knew exactly what was going down, turning the song into a full-on singalong, from the first verse to the double-time rapped bridge. Of course, he performs the obligatory “Confessions, Part 2” and then closes out by celebrating the 25th anniversary of the title song from My Way, playing a full-force presentation of Usher’s second top-five hit.
