As hard as it may seem to believe at times, most celebrities truly are just like us. In fact, many of those in the limelight who struggle with mental health issues to begin with find their conditions only exacerbated by the constant pressure that comes along with their career. While some opt to keep their problems to themselves, others often use social media to share life updates and be vulnerable with their fans, simultaneously encouraging them to do the same. JT of City Girls fame did just that on Twitter, sharing some details about how she plans to improve her mental health in the coming months.

“Super excited about starting therapy,” she wrote in a tweet last Saturday (March 25). “I encourage you all to do the same🤞🏾!” the “Twerkulator” hitmaker added, making it abundantly clear that there’s no shame in talking to someone about your feelings. While JT didn’t explicitly share what she wants to get off her chest in any upcoming appointments, her life before fame came with plenty of rough moments that are likely still weighing on her. Additionally, her newfound place in the spotlight beside Yung Miami certainly comes with its own downsides for the partners in rhyme.

JT Confirms Her Plans for Therapy

After the 30-year-old shared her excitement about beginning her therapy adventure, countless followers showered her with praise. “It’s literally necessary for everybody, [I don’t know] why people be acting like they don’t need it,” one user pointed out in JT’s replies. Another person chimed in, “I already do, for two years now. It’s life-changing [for real] sis. I pray your experience is as well.” Aside from the fan love, the rap diva also has a strong support system in the form of her long-term partner, Lil Uzi Vert.

The Philadelphia native spoke with TMZ earlier this week, at which time they asked their thoughts on JT seeking mental health help. Uzi sounds to be in full support of their girlfriend and even noted that they’ll be in attendance at some sessions to help out and perhaps work through issues of their own. As for anyone else considering therapy? Michael B. Jordan & Tessa Thompson Went To Couple’s Therapy While Filming “Creed III”

History has been made after Creed III‘s monumental opening weekend, and much of it is thanks to Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson. It’s reported that Creed III raked in $100 million in its first few days, and we’re sure the cast is somewhere celebrating. In the film, Thompson’s character, Bianca, presses Jordan’s character about going to therapy to work out his issues. The actress told Refinery29 that the two stars stretched their acting chops and attended real-life therapy—in character.

“It’s like a full PSA for therapy [laughs],” said Thompson. She detailed Bianca’s evolution and stepping into a softer side when she entered motherhood. “And finally, Mike and I actually went to therapy together. We did couples therapy.” The interviewer was surprised at the revelation and asked if they answered questions as their characters. “Yes, in character, but it ended up being like — the line sometimes between character and us get blurred because we bring so much of what we’re exploring personally to the characters in general.”

Digging Into A Character’s Issues

For a moment, Thompson thought she might have been telling too many details. Still, she continued. “I’ll say it was an early experience in couples therapy for us both [personally], but it was as these characters, which is very weird. But I think it reminded us of our own personal lives that going to therapy, even when a relationship is good, can be a good thing if you’re trying to just sharpen communication and figure out how someone works. It’s useful in so many relationships.”

Thompson explained that although they attacked the therapy session as Bianca and Adonis, she and Jordan “were also reflecting on our own relationships.” The costars have been creating hit films in the Creedverse for almost a decade, and they’ve grown as individuals as well as performers. “We’ve seen each other through various stages in our own romantic things,” she said. “So, we know stuff about each other’s lives. We shared and talked about it. So, therapy ended up starting at work and getting more personal.”

Tessa Thompson Left With a Deeper Understanding

She added, “Also, it was a chance for us to really talk to a couples therapist and understand what are some of the things young parents who are trying to balance their own dreams and aspirations? What are the themes that you see?” Also, “What are the things they might be up against? What might be their impediments to happiness or success as a couple? That was really fascinating also to hear from her and bring that into the stew.”

From the sounds of things, the Scorpion rapper’s therapist wanted him to understand that people perceive his celebrity status the same way they see a woman’s large breasts.

He went on to say, “All the preconceived notions, they can’t see past the gigantic tits unless they talk to you and then they’re like, ‘Oh wow, your tits are huge but you’re super smart. For more than one celebrity couple, this Valentine’s Day has been far more heartbreaking than happy. The engaged pair’s weekend looked to be off to a good start. The recording artist performed at a party on Friday (February 10) night. Afterward, he and his fiancée stepped out together for Drake’s party. By Saturday, things apparently took a turn for the worst as Fox wasn’t spotted at her partner’s second pre-Super Bowl performance.

On Sunday (February 12), more internet sleuths caught on to the apparent drama as the Transformers actress deleted all photos of MGK from her profile. Additionally, she unfollowed him, and instead followed his known enemy, Eminem, along with Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet. To add insult to injury, Fox also quoted Beyoncé’s LEMONADE in a telling post about dishonesty. Shortly after, she completely deleted her Instagram profile.

It didn’t take long for rumours of cheating on Kelly’s part to begin floating around, though nothing has been confirmed at this time. On Monday, PEOPLE quoted sources as saying that 36-year-old removed her engagement ring due to a major fight between the couple during their time in Arizona. “They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time,” they said.

On Tuesday (February 14), it was reported that paparazzi cameras caught Fox and the “Wild Boy” rapper together in Agoura Hills, California, the day before. Daily Mail says they arrived in separate cars at a building where several couple and marriage counsellors have offices. They spent approximately two and a half hours inside but ultimately left in different vehicles again afterward.

The blurry photos snapped show the controversial couple leaving their appointment in casual clothing. Tony Yayo Speaks On 50 Cent And Other Rappers Being “Damaged”

Tony Yayo recently spoke about how 50 Cent is one of many damaged rappers working in the industry today. While many consult the New York rapper for his interesting takes and stories, he opened up about the struggle many rappers face. During an interview with DJ Vlad, he explained how artists who come from the streets face an uphill battle.

Furthermore, Yayo used the “In Da Club” rapper as an example.

“Listen [50] didn’t know who his father was, and his moms was in the streets, and she got killed,” he remarked. “There’s no parents there, your grandparents are older, you’re damaged, bro. You was outside, the streets taught n***as. A lot of shootings you see… You see an 18-year-old kid stab his 16-year-old girlfriend somewhere in New York because he thought she was cheating.

“It’s what they see from parents,” he continued. “It’s f***ed up for certain places. Sometimes, you want to help and try to fix people, your mans say he do s**t for the youth. That’s real s**t. ‘Cause that’s where it starts at, trying to help them, but some people can’t be helped. They just f***in’ bad seeds, bruh.”

However, in the same interview with VladTV, he also remarked a lighter story about 50 spitting his first verse.

“‘Son said he was from O.T., sold ‘leven at O.Z.,’” he continued rapping. “‘His man brought him to me, but he ain’t really know B. Said it was time, dude was a cop, he was just trying to pop to put the new beams on the drop.’ That’s all I remember. But that rhyme to me was like, that’s when I was like, “Nah.” He had other s**t, but that was in my man’s basement… and I was just like ‘Yo, this n***a’s getting better by the minute.”

Chrisean Rock’s Therapy Session Finds Her Getting Real About Childhood Trauma

Chrisean Rock’s tumultuous relationship with Blueface is sheer entertainment for some, but incredibly painful to watch for others. The duo is undeniably talented at making money. However, they also have a history of physical violence within their union, and with outsiders.

The first few episodes of their Crazy In Love series on Zeus covered plenty of these antics. More recently, though, the couple has been trying out healing tactics, such as therapy, on camera.

While Rock was initially resistant to the idea of seeking mental health help, she eventually sat down with Dr. Ish to dive into her toxic relationship and traumatic childhood.

As we previously reported, while discussing things with Blueface, the 22-year-old admitted to engaging in “flip outs” when a perceived threat appears to target their rocky coupledom. “I might do certain things to get his attention, but that’s only because I want it my way,” she shared with her therapist.

Elsewhere in the same conversation, Rock revealed that growing up around her abusive father was a terrifying experience for her. According to the reality starlet, the family patriarch would lay hands on her mother, sisters, and Chrisean. “My mother, his go to was to tie her up and beat her,” the Baltimore native recalled.

“He would line all my sisters up out back against the wall. He would put me against the wall – and I ain’t do nothing – with them,” she went on, getting emotional. “Like, I’m young as f*ck, I don’t know what’s going on… He would make sure he would slap one on each cheek.”

Afterward, Dr. Ish asked the entertainer if she struggles with empty feelings inside. To this, she said that there are days when she feels the need to sleep in because “it hurts so much [she doesn’t] want to move.”

In other news, Chrisean certainly made a splash at this past weekend’s Baddies West premiere. While she donned a red carpet-ready look for the event, that didn’t stop her from throwing hands at her former stylist.

Chrisean Rock Reflects On Her Anger Issues In Therapy: “It Is What It Is”

Since they first got together, Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s relationship has been nothing short of tumultuous. Luckily for them, it’s also made for entertaining reality TV, as we’ve seen play out on their Crazy In Love show.

With new episodes airing every Sunday, the on-again-off-again pair has brought plenty of eyebrow-raising antics to screens both big and small. Recently, there’s been plenty of feuding between the rapper and his mother, as well as the usual bickering between the starring couple.

This weekend, Blueface took it upon himself to suggest therapy for him and Rock. It’s no secret that the duo has had their share of physical altercations in the past, and their verbal abuse is, at times, near constant.

Though the 22-year-old was resistant to the idea at first, she eventually gave in and sat down with Dr. Ish for a candid conversation. In a video circulating online, the reality starlet alternates between sipping liquor and a red bull as her therapist speaks.

Initially, they discuss Blueface and Chrisean tells the doctor that he has “a great heart.” He responds by pointing out that her man’s lack of commitment seems to be a trigger point for her. “You’re in love, and when stuff happens that looks like it’s threatening that, it hurts your feelings.”

“Yeah, and I flip out,” she admits. “I might do certain things to get his attention, but that’s only because I want it my way.”

Dr. Ish then asks his client to elaborate on her “flip outs,” which are undeniably extreme sometimes. In response, Rock says that her behaviour is likely to have her put in jail.

“We want that to not happen, you know what I mean?” the therapist asks as the Baltimore native takes a shot. “But the type of n*gga he is,” she responds with a laugh, “it got to happen.”

“Does it though?” Ish questioned Rock. “I don’t know,” she says back. “Do you like it like that?” he asks her. “It is what it is,” she concludes.

In other news, Blueface was recently asked about his thoughts on Drake following Chrisean Rock. The 26-year-old claimed that the Canadian is “infatuated” with him, among other things.

Blueface Suggests Therapy For Him And Chrisean Rock

One of the entertainment world’s most volatile power couples reconsidered what they share in their relationship. Moreover, in a new clip from their reality show Crazy In Love, Blueface suggests him and Chrisean Rock should go to therapy. Furthermore, the snippets follow a crazy week for the two, as they’ve seemingly split after a wild interview went sour.

After security dragged Chrisean Rock out of an interview with her, Blueface, and No Jumper, fans were shook. The incident shocked social media and seemingly threw a wrench in their relationship together. In fact, news since developed into some really odd territory. Furthermore, in an almost preventative mood, the California rapper said that Chrisean’s upcoming baby is not his.

“To answer y’all questions, yes me [and] Rock are officially done,” he tweeted. “It’s strictly business, I tried it [and] clearly it wasn’t giving. Before she announces… She’s pregnant with somebody else’s child, not mine.”

Moreover, this Sunday’s episode of Crazy In Love will feature an oddly timely discussion, according to teasers. In new clips, Blueface asks his girlfriend whether she thinks they should go to therapy.

“What do you think about therapy?” the rapper asked. “Do you think that’ll fix me or help you understand me or me understand you… hmm?”

“People like you don’t need therapy,” Rock replied. “You know what you want.”

“What about people like you?” he said, asking her if she knows what she wants. Also, she made it clear that she wants him.

“But n***a, you’re so, like, that n***a,” Chrisean continued. “You don’t need none of that. You just need to like, get with the program or, like, let’s do it. What we doing? That’s it. We don’t need no motherf***ing therapy. I love you.”

Meanwhile, other clips from the upcoming episode gave some other insights. For example, in a sit-down interview, Blueface claims that his mother probably wants to be his girlfriend. Also, Chrisean Rock slams back a bottle of liquor and the two discuss therapy again.

However, interestingly enough, a new Instagram live clip from Chrisean shows her in bed with Blueface. Still, there’s probably more to their story.
