50 Cent’s Former Boss Shouts Him Out For Being A Great Intern, He Responds

With about three decades’ worth of hard work in the industry, 50 Cent knows a thing or two about upward job mobility. From rapper to superstar to business mogul to entertainment producer, it feels like the G-Unit head honcho has done it all. However, things weren’t always like that, and he knew that he had to start small in order to do big things. Recently, his former boss Jesse Itzler spoke on him being a great intern for his jingle company that worked with the New York Knicks and other entertainment titans. Just goes to show that hustling will get you far, and the money will come after that dedication.

“This is the craziest story,” Itzler began his remarks on Fif in a TikTok video. “50 Cent was my intern. I have this kid who’s a boxer who wants to be a rapper, he wants to get some business experience. So we made a deal that he would intern for me for whatever experience I could give him. In exchange, he helped me write these jingles that I was doing at the time.

50 Cent Built His Way Up

“Fast forward ten years later, we go on our own way,” he continued. “50 becomes this amazing international star, and I have a private jet company called Marquis Jet. By fluke, he is a guest on one of our airplanes. So I had the pilot write a note saying ’50, you’re never gonna believe this. This is Jesse from the jingle company, and you’re on one of my airplanes.’ The next day, he wrote into all of his contracts that he would only fly with Marquis Jet. That is a lesson on loyalty, and you never know who the next 50 Cent is going to be.”

Meanwhile, the Queens MC even confirmed this in an Instagram repost. “This is 100 percent true Jessie is my guy,” he wrote. “I think he owns the Atlanta Hawks now [he does] I gotta catch up with him.” It’s all a bit ironic and, more importantly, almost fateful, considering that he named his regrettably estranged son Marquise. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on 50 Cent.

50 Cent Wants Lil Wayne Collab To Finally Happen

Back in the 2000s, there was a lot of rap beef going down, but also a lot of star-powered crossovers and collaborations. That’s true of hip-hop in any era, but after about 30 years in the music sphere, the genre was bigger than ever before [ironically, on the date of this article’s publishing, hip-hop celebrates its 50th birthday]. Leading the charge, among a couple of others, were two key figures in their respective scenes that became indelibly influential. Moreover, 50 Cent brought a new brand of glossy grit and gangster glamour to New York, capturing generations of listeners with ease. On the other hand, there was Lil Wayne out of New Orleans, expanding the caliber of Southern rap’s lyrical prowess and release dominance.

With that in mind, it’s wild to think that these two leaders of their time- that still lead today- never collaborated. Furthermore, that’s something that the G-Unit mogul wants to change. During an interview with the Capital XTRA Breakfast show to celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, co-hosts Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie asked their special guest co-host Curtis Jackson asked him for any artists from its history that he wants to work with. “I didn’t do one with Wayne… He’s one of the ones,” 50 Cent replied.

Lil Wayne Is One Of 50 Cent’s Dream Collaborations

“People don’t know [that] I was on the Cash Money Ruff Ryders Tour,” he continued, “before they opened the curtain.” While their sounds are distinct enough from each other, they also have a lot of crossover appeal and similarities as MCs. Just imagine 50 Cent’s trademark low rasp matched up against Weezy’s nasal, eccentric flow. With new albums on the way from the two, maybe Lil Wayne drops everything and gets Fif to hop on Tha Carter VI. If not, even a random single release from them would be enough to light the community ablaze with excitement and satisfaction.

Meanwhile, given 50’s recent track record, this link-up doesn’t sound improbable at all. After all, he recently collaborated on wax with Nas for the first time in about twenty years. Legends forge their own path, but in the collaborative and competitive spirit of the genre, crossing them will only make them that much better. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on 50 Cent and Lil Wayne. Also, happy 50th birthday, hip-hop!

50 Cent Is Thirsty For Helen Mirren: “I Don’t Give A F**k… She’s Sexy”

We all have our celebrity crushes; some are common, others are very niche, and some we might have a hard time explaining. However, considering beauty standards and gut reactions online, 50 Cent has no such shame when discussing the stars he finds beautiful. Moreover, the New York rap legend recently sat down with Men’s Health for a broad and very entertaining interview. Sure, they spoke on hip-hop’s 50th anniversary; his career in music, business, and more; and his fitness journey. But the most juicy part of the whole thing was when he spoke of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in France, where he recalled how he met legendary actress Dame Helen Mirren.

“She’s sexy,” 50 Cent said, expressing his love and admiration for her. “She’ll look at you and you go, ‘Oh s**t.’ I don’t care how old she get. I don’t give a f**k what nobody says. She’s sexy. Her husband is just right there with her, and he just go, like, ‘Ah yeah, that’s just what she does.’ But he notices what you notice. That she’s sexy. It’s her confidence; it’s everything she is for all of these years. She’s gonna be sexy forever.”

50 Cent’s Interview With Men’s Health

Elsewhere in the conversation, the G-Unit titan also reflected on his “ladies’ man” status during the days of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. It’s that kind of attitude and charm that leads him to thirst for Hollywood elites. “2003 was so much fun. There was so much energy around me as a new artist that you can’t recreate,” 50 Cent said. “Between 2003 and 2005, I’ve seen every version of every kind of vagina out there. I kept being a guy who would have what he could have and not what he wants, and then when it shifts so fast that you go, ‘What? What happened?’ You’re not prepared for it. And they’re so excited.

“You’re going, ‘Me?’ Then you just have the greatest time of your life. Now look, in 2005, you start feeling like you hot. So all of a sudden, you have transformed. You’re a bad b***h. So now that you’re this bad b***h, you’re looking at the girls looking at you, and you’re going, ‘Oh, she think she gonna get me?’ And now you think you’re so hot that you’re running from the girls. The afterparty is not happening in your hotel room anymore because you have this newfound value for yourself. You’re running to be in the room by yourself.” Still, he also admitted to making “21 Questions” for the sake of his romantic life. DaBaby’s Birthday Message For 50 Cent, Calls Him His “Last Role Model”

50 Cent has given his helping hand to a lot of careers throughout his legendary time in the rap game, one of those being that of DaBaby. The two have quite the strong relationship, and it’s clear that the Charlotte rapper sees Fif as a mentor and as an example to follow. Moreover, he recently joined a slew of fellow celebrities and 50 fans to congratulate the G-Unit mogul on his 48th birthday on Thursday (July 6). In his message, Baby wrote on how much he appreciates his advice, guidance, and overall support throughout his rocky but impactful run so far. In addition, he called him the “last role model” he has left, a somber but also touching sentiment.

“HAPPY G DAY TO THE [GOAT],” DaBaby wrote to 50 Cent on Instagram. “Still gone hit ya phone but I wanted to show my love and appreciation publicly! Bruh…I tell you all the time words can’t express how much I appreciate the relationship I got with you. Since the day I met ya you done gave me a life time worth of game & motivation.

Tell you once a month you the last role model I got left! Keep dominating the [globe] I’m studying on a daily. Love for life bruh, See you soon!”

Meanwhile, there are plenty of other ways in which the New York MC is celebrating his impact. 50 Cent’s $1.5 Million “Jet Car” Will Have You Begging For The Future

50 Cent is one of hip-hop’s biggest car aficionados, lending a lot of gorgeous and powerful vehicles to DJ Envy’s upcoming car show- which is in savage and beef-heavy competition with Rick Ross’ own event. However, his latest alleged purchase might just top the rest. Moreover, SuperCarBlondie reported that Fif bought the White Lightning Jet Car for a staggering $1.5 million, and the hefty price tag isn’t just for show. In fact, the Parker Brothers designed the whip with inspiration from Formula 1 and built it from scratch. According to reports, it can reach up to more than 400 horsepower and ride at 250mph on the streets.

Considering the G-Unit mogul’s insane portfolio, it’s crazy to think that this is just a hobby for him at this point, albeit a passionate one. Apparently, he actually brought things down a notch when it comes to his crazy purchases. “The stuff that they see that I’ve learned, it kinda kept me out of trouble at points,” 50 Cent told Ari Melber. “The stuff I was saying in the music in the very beginning, I was crazy to tell you the truth, Ari. I was absolutely crazy at that point.”

50 Cent’s New “Jet Car”

In addition to his musical ventures, entertainment empire, and social media presence, 50 Cent is also looking forward to his upcoming tour. However, during a recent Instagram Live session with fans, he suggested that “The Final Lap” might be a literal title for his tour after all. While it will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, it seems like it will be his farewell trek. Still, the Queens legend said he sold 500,000 tickets in seven days, so in any case, it’ll be a successful and fulfilling last ride.

“Because ticket sales are doing so well, they’re adding new markets,” he told fans. “So the U.K., North America and possibly Australia will be in there. I gotta get to Africa, I got a lot of spots I gotta hit before I be done, because this is the Final Lap Tour. I won’t be running around like this no more, I gotta do my film and television stuff. Got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I gotta work on, so I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring. I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.” For the latest news and updates on 50 Cent, stick around on HNHH.

50 Cent Brushes Off Son’s $10K Apple Cash Request

50 Cent just took to Instagram to slightly ridicule his 10-year-old son Sire’s alleged request for $10K via Apple Cash. Moreover, he posted a screenshot of the request with no further details, instead choosing to elaborate in his post’s caption. “I just got this from my son SIRE, [eyes emoji],” Fif wrote. “He is 10 years old I hope this is a joke.” Apparently, all the hard work that the music and business mogul put in for his cash isn’t easily forgotten, and he’s not one to give it indiscriminately- even to his children. Still, many wondered how the young Jackson family member could’ve schemed this out to begin with. Kids and tech are just growing too fast these days.

Regardless, Sire’s hustling has probably transcended even 50 Cent’s expectations, as he apparently passed down his money-making mindset to him. According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, the young buck (whom Curtis shares with his ex Daphne Joy) got $700,000 for his first modeling contract. What’s more is that the reportedly lucrative move came when Sire was just two years old. It’s always quite impressive, however jarring, to see kids adapt to our hyper-capital-obsessed world with ease.

50 Cent Hopes His Son’s Apple Cash Request Is A Joke

Not only that, but Sire seems to be following 50 Cent’s footsteps into the wider entertainment industry. Moreover, the G-Unit mogul recently celebrated his son being cast in the upcoming horror film Skill House in August of 2022. Of course, 50 took to Instagram to show off Sire talking to the flick’s director, Josh Stolberg. From what his caption indicates, he’ll star in an undisclosed role that Stolberg is expecting hard work from, as he’s seen listening intently to the director.

Once again in September of that year, the Queens legend expressed pride in his ten-year-old son when he received a Student of the Month award in language arts from his school. “My boy getting student of the month,” the rapper captioned his celebratory post. With all those achievements in mind, maybe Sire’s just looking for some extra cash to invest or put into his career. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on Sire Jackson and 50 Cent.

Beanie Sigel Denies Dissing Jay-Z On 50 Cent Collab “I Go Off”

It’s always fun to revisit one of New York’s most odd but also respectable rap feuds between two titans of the city. Beanie Sigel recently said he didn’t mean to diss Jay-Z on his track “I Go Off” featuring 50 Cent, who does have a weird beef with the Reasonable Doubt MC. Moreover, he recently spoke to DJ Vlad during an interview about how that collaboration, which many still see as a diss, came together. From Sigel’s account, he said he wanted to sign with G-Unit due to Roc-A-Fella’s internal and external struggles at the time, regarding both management and ownership. As such, he tapped 50 for a track, and it devolved into diss territory thanks to his contributions.

“That ‘I Go Off’ was just a record that I had,” the Philly native began. “I ain’t have no hook on it. 50 liked it. I sent it to him, he knocked the hook off. It ain’t nothing about Jay-Z like n***as is talking about with that record. Even through the lyrics, ain’t nothing about Jay-Z in there, but 50 started talking crazy. Not crazy, but you know they got that weird relationship. They don’t f**k with each other, but then they f**k with each other.”

50 Cent’s Jay-Z Diss On “I Go Off” Not Reciprocated By Beanie Sigel

Furthermore, Fif’s message at the end of the track, to be fair to believers of the theory, leaves little to the imagination. “Yeah! You changed man! You let the money change you, Jay,” the Queens MC exclaimed on the song. “You used to be, from Marcy n***a! Now you a pass the Grey Poupon-a** n***a! You don’t want the shooters! I’ll take ’em! N***a, you feed the wolves and the wolves feed off you!

Meanwhile, it’s fascinating to see that beef in hindsight considering 50’s own money moves and business ventures. Still, it doesn’t mean that the “In Da Club” rapper won’t throw the occasional shot at his somewhat-rival. For example, he recently sided with Eminem over a debate between Shaquille O’Neal and Jamal Crawford over whether Em has more influence than Jay-Z. Overall, their curious animosity will likely continue, though it’s undeniable that they must respect each other as hip-hop moguls. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Beanie Sigel, 50 Cent, and Jay-Z.

50 Cent Trolls Druski For Stage Fall

50 Cent is known for sometimes being a clown online, and Druski is the latest to fall victim to his trolling- and a poorly placed set of steps. Moreover, the Queens MC took to Twitter to comment on a viral clip of the comedian falling and breaking his ankle during the Austin stop of his Coulda Shoulda Woulda comedy tour. For those who haven’t seen the clip yet, Dru said that he fell down and joked that he was “chasing some white chocolate,” i.e. a girl walking by. However, one misstep on a rickety set of steps sent him down to the ground, and at least it happened during a comedy show and not a more serious event.

After the clip spread on social media, Fif joked that the superstar personality needed some condolences. “Nobody told me Druski died,” the G-Unit boss and television mogul wrote on Twitter. “I send my condolences to his family and loved ones. Boy WTF happens here? Who put that last step there like that? LOL somebody gotta die.” Fortunately, Druski’s a great comic, and of course he won’t slip up on a chance to make fun of himself, too.

Druski Clowned By 50 Cent

That p***y almost got me,” he joked after falling, as people around him rushed to get him up. “White b***hes ain’t s**t… B***h, I almost twisted my ankle… You see what I do for that white p***y? I just twisted my s**t. If it ain’t snowing, I ain’t going.” Then, he turned to his security to cook them comically. “B***h, what the f**k you doing? You ain’t catch me, n***a! N***a talking about, ‘Oh s**t, what the f**k?!’ N***a, I ain’t paying you $2 an hour for nothing!”

Meanwhile, some of the 28-year-old’s fellow famous friends chimed in with some funny messages online. “Oooommmmmgggggg…..yo life flashed before yo eyes man,” wrote Kevin Hart. Odell Beckham Jr. wrote, “Bruhhhh reallly almost fkeddd his shxt uppppp!” What’s more is that his tour in Dallas saw him in a wheelchair and cast, and fortunately he has some days to relax before he hits Memphis, Birmingham, and New Orleans this week. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on 50 Cent and Druski.

50 Cent Deletes Instagram Post About Exposing TV Industry

It’s always annoying when someone deletes a post that could be big news, but this time around, it’s a little bit fishy considering the content. On Sunday (March 26), 50 Cent reportedly posted on Instagram that he could expose the truth about the TV industry if given the chance. However, he apparently deleted the post since then, as the original HipHopDX report on it no longer features the Instagram revelation. “This lady from Fox 5 News called asking if i would speak to her about my experience in television production,” he allegedly captioned his post with a picture of FOX 5 correspondent and veteran journalist Lisa Evers. “I said like real behind the scenes, [eyes emoji] if she does this the Tv is going to go black [television emoji].” As a titan in that industry currently, such claims are quite hold quite the power.

Moreover, the G-Unit mogul recently celebrated his incredibly expansive network in the entertainment industry with another post, and this one’s still uploaded to his page. “I just realized there is not 1 african american person with green light Power in all of television,” he remarked. “WTF , I gotta turn it up now !” In said post, he showed just how many production companies and organizations he’s worked with so far, and hilariously X’d out Starz.

50 Cent Might Expose TV Industry

However, the “In Da Club” rapper also caught flack for insinuating he doesn’t know who Evers is. Still, that might be that he just miswrote, given their history together. “Whaaaat ???!!!” she reportedly commented under 50’s post. “This lady [crying laughing emojis] is @lisaevers #fox5ny – same one who did your very first TV interview in 2003 ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ – same one who did a bunch of other interviews throughout your incredible career …. why you acting brand new? Lol Would love to tell this chapter of your story… meet me on Baisley Blvd South Jamaica …let’s talk.”

“MEMO TO: @50cent FROM: “this lady” Lol,” she wrote on Instagram, captioning a picture of the two of them, presumably after their conversation twenty years ago. “2003 – after your first TV interview for #fox5ny news about your debut album. You trusted a new TV reporter named Lisa Evers with your incredible story over national entertainment shows. Now trust me again to tell the story of how you became a media mogul & mega-successful entrepreneur. The streets need this inspiration now. Let’s work!” Furthermore, it seems like after 50’s deleted post and his incredible career, the two would have a lot to go over. Still, maybe that results in some industry secrets coming to light, or maybe that’s too conspiratorial to entertain. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on this story and more on 50 Cent.
