NLE Choppa Suggests Ice Spice Changed Her Number After Texting Him

Nearly a month ago now, Memphis’ NLE Choppa joined Jason Lee on his REVOLT podcast to discuss not only his musical work but also his feelings for a certain female rap star. At the time, the “DO IT AGAIN” hitmaker admitted to having a crush on Ice Spice, who he chiefly called “beautiful” while revealing that they were exchanging messages. Rather than sliding in her DMs, Choppa was able to connect with the Bronx baddie via text, apparently to talk about “just music,” though things didn’t go as far as he was hoping, as Spice apparently changed her number without telling the 20-year-old.

“I don’t text her no more,” the recording artist told Lee during their March interview. “She changed her number. So, I watch from a distance. I see she’s doing a lot of big things.” More recently, Choppa dropped by The Breakfast Club to promote his new Cottonwood 2 album, at which time hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne couldn’t help but ask their guest about Spice. “People change their number!” the southern star defended himself. “Was I part of the reason? I don’t know… Probably, you never know.”

Tha God then asked Choppa if he was “tryna holler” at the “Bikini Botton” hitmaker while she was only interested in talking business. “No! I was business-oriented, and when I hollered she ain’t have no [noise] about it,” the lyricist insisted. “You did holler though?” Charlamagne confirmed, not letting the young rhymer escape the question. “Yeah, you know what I mean? Slicky, like… I slid in! I asked her, do she like vegan food? That’s probably why she changed her number,” NLE speculated, laughing along with TBC hosts.

“She said, ‘This n*gga talkin’ ’bout vegan food. Let me get his ass off my line. I’m from the Bronx! We don’t eat no f*cking vegan food,’” the father of one added, imagining how Spice reacted to his message before swapping out her digits. While NLE Choppa is obviously still hung up on not getting a text back, the 23-year-old rap diva has been busy soaking up the success of her “Princess Diana (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj. Blueface Says Lil Baby Has Been The One Texting Him This Whole Time

Blueface continued his Twitter rant on Monday morning (February 20) and clarified that Lil Baby’s been texting him this whole time. Moreover, the California rapper exploded on social media after his girlfriend Chrisean Rock spoke about meeting Baby recently. During an Instagram Live sessions, she said the Atlanta rapper believes she has “potential,” and Blue wasn’t happy about that. “I think you be letting too many rap n***as be in your face,” the “Bleed It” star told her. After Blueface posted alleged DMs between Baby and Chrisean, it seemed like he was set on protecting his relationship.

However, maybe this all turned out to be a big misunderstanding. Earlier today, the 26-year-old sent out a message on Twitter that apparently diffuses the whole situation. “Ain’t even have to go thru the fone,” he tweeted. “Rock gave cuz my number he been texting me the whole time,” adding a laughing emoji at the end. Still, all this back and forth is slightly confusing, and it’s unclear who really tried to text who. Also, this revelation is kind of undercut by Blue’s previous tweets, where he claimed to go through Chrisean’s phone. “You in her DMs I’m in this b***h one on sy cryp,” he tweeted before his new admission.

As such, many fans also seemed confused in the comments, or even accused the California rapper of something fishy. “And if you been responding as if u was rock u weird,” one tweeter expressed. Another took note of how this situation could’ve even been a problem in the first place. “I’m confused,” they tweeted. “If he been texting you about working with her then what is the problem.” Overall, it’s a weird situation to wrap your head around, but one that’ll surely be replaced by another antic soon.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Blueface’s potential jealousy got in the way of his relationship. Furthermore, Chrisean took a selfie with Rick Ross at the Super Bowl, which Blue did not take well.  “Could never be my b***h,” he messaged to her after finding out about the selfie.
