Much to the internet’s pleasure, Azealia Banks is once again failing to bite her tongue when it comes to celebrity affairs. After chiming in on the beef unfolding between Joe Budden and Drake earlier this month, she’s now sharing her two cents on Sean Combs, whom the “212” hitmaker clearly doesn’t have a very high opinion of. “Can we also stop pretending like @diddy has done anything for hip-hop or Black people?” Banks wrote on her Instagram Story this week. According to her, his only contributions include stealing, getting high, alcoholism, and even “[coercing] artists into compromising sexual encounters to blackmail them.”

As her rant continued, the Harlem native also called Combs out for “stealing” his ex, Cassie, from Ryan Leslie, only to “do absolutely nothing with her for over a decade.” Banks added, “I don’t think [Diddy] understands that Ciroc isn’t considered a luxury brand because I truly don’t think he knows just how uncouth and ghetto he himself is.” At this point is when she decided to drag Yung Miami into the chat. “Think about it, it took 25 years of stealing, doing drugs, and getting drunk to ust now have cracked a $1 billion net worth. What’s he got to show for it? Caresha?” Azealia quipped.

According to alleged screenshots posted on Tjay’s Instagram Story on Sunday (October 1), the 25-year-old has been spamming his phone with unkind messages.

SZA’s voice is a force to be reckoned with, but at her core, the Ctrl songbird is a sensitive soul. Like every other artist, she’s subject to near-constant criticism both online and in person. Even with all the feats she’s achieved in her career so far, SZA struggles with insecurity every now and then, which only becomes heightened when she crosses paths with negativity directed toward her. Earlier this week, TikTok user @vadellor shared a video breaking down their experience DMing with the black-haired beauty. While the OP seemed to think their video painted SZA in an unflattering light, it’s actually her who’s feeling the heat for gaslighting the starlet.

“How I live knowing that one of the biggest music artists of the decade personal hate DM’d me for an hour straight,” @vadellor wrote on her screen at the start of the over-three-minute-long post. The creator explained that, while at the SOS Tour, they decided to recreate the “SZA Wack” meme which previously went viral for criticizing the “Slime You Out” collaborators vocals. At this point, @vadellor admitted she was embarassed, and quickly deleted the comment. In her DMs, she found a message from SZA reading, “Not okay.” In response, the TikToker wrote, “Sorry it was just a joke.” A few hours later, the “Drew Barrymore” artist returned with more to say. “Lmao and you kept it up? After I told you how that made me feel as a human being? For laughs? Take care love 🤍. Thank you for coming.”

In true Scorpio fashion, SZA couldn’t leave it at that. Upon realizing that the OP took down her comment, she typed out another paragraph. “Before I block you, I just wanna remind you, Imma PERSON. For her part, Spice has been facing accusations of being a one-hit wonder and industry plant since her career first began. Of course, she’s putting in plenty of work to combat those rumours.

She’s made strong connections with heavy hitters such as Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift already, but that doesn’t mean everyone is on the 23-year-old’s side. According to the media personality, “Slime You Out” featuring SZA wasn’t hard enough for him, and he didn’t seem to see the usual crowd of obsessed fans quoting the song’s lyrics until days after it dropped.

Drake had plenty of words for Tha God on his Instagram Story after catching wind of the diss, including calling him a “f**king goof.” Even with the shots fired between the two, the lyricist still came out on top as “Slime You Out” landed on top of the Billboard chart this week.
