Finesse2tymes’ Mother Claims He Didn’t Snitch: “He Did His Time”

Earlier this week, a social media user accused Finesse2tymes of “ratting” on their brother, offering up some paperwork that allegedly backed up their claims. The rapper then hopped on Instagram Live, telling his followers that the allegations aren’t true. “See, you n****s ain’t smart enough. You can’t get no paperwork from when a n***a was a juvenile,” he explained. He continued, “Do you know how many n****s told on me as a juvenile and I can’t go get paperwork to prove it? I can’t pay for it … If it’s true, go look it up! Go pay for it. Go read up on it and then get back at me.

Now, Finesse2tymes mother has also come to the rapper’s defense. During a livestream, she claimed that her son served 15 years in prison when “he could have” snitched. She called the paperwork “fake,” and said “social media a mess for real.” Finesse2tymes’ mother went on to tell haters that they’re jealous of her son, claiming that they’re only spreading rumors for clout. “He did his time,” she continued.

Finesse2tymes’ Mother Defends Him

The rapper’s mother went on to tell viewers they “better stop believing everything” they see on social media. She explained her heated response, saying, “[Her] baby been gone all this time,” serving his sentences “like a man.” Finesse2tymes was released from prison in July of 2022, after serving around five years for gun charges related to a 2017 shooting in Arkansas. Prior to that, he did six years for two felony counts of aggravated robbery and was released in 2016.

Finesse2tymes has made headlines in recent months for beefing with Erica Banks, showing off his three girlfriends, and a deadly stampede that took place at one of his shows with GloRilla. The stampede tragically took the lives of three concert attendees in March of this year. In May, he also roasted a Tennessee club promoter for failing to pay him. Many users called the situation “karma,” as accusations that he sent an impersonator to perform in his place circulated earlier this year.

Lil Durk Embraces His Spirituality In New Instagram Post

Lil Durk appears to be getting in touch with his spirality recently and he’s sharing that journey with fans. The rap star still has a song in the top 10 of the Hot 100 this week, the J.Cole featuring “All My Life.” He also has the highest-selling rap album of the year so far with his new project Almost Healed. Now he appears to be turning his sights towards self-improvement. In a new Instagram post, he can be seen embracing his Muslim spirituality with a trio of new pictures. In the caption he says “I do better and better everyday I just keep em wondering – stay focus.”

Fans flocked to the comments to praise Lil Durk for his actions. Fellow rappers like Ty Dolla Sign and RALO took the chance to show Durk some love. Hilariously, the post has just as many comments about the fourth and final picture. A meme with a far less serious tone than the rest of the pictures. “Delete that last slide gang,” one comment reads. “Last slide LMAOOOO,” says another.

Lil Durk’s New Vision

Recently Lil Durk has found himself involved in the YSL snitching drama. After he publicly spoke out about Gunna’s reported snitching as a part of his plea deal fans couldn’t help but compare the two former collaborators. While Durk cleared both Young Thug and Gunna in terms of sales that isn’t all people are discussing. Joe Budden recently said that despite the snitching Gunna’s new album is better than either of Durk or Thuggers. As a result of all the drama going on between the artists Gunna and Lil Durk have since unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Lil Durk isn’t done with new material either. Last week he confirmed to fans that a deluxe edition of his album Almost Healed is in the works. While he didn’t reveal when it may drop or who could be on the bonus tracks, fans are still excited to hear more Durk. What do you think of Lil Durk’s new Instagram post? Boosie Badazz Reveals Why He Hates Snitches So Much: Video

The BET Awards this year were a rollercoaster of emotions, to say the least. We felt all the love while watching Quavo and Offset reunite with an incredible tribute to the late Takeoff. Later, the temperature in the room increased as JT’s anger toward Lil Uzi Vert erupted in a phone-throwing feud. One of the celebrities who was most excited to be in attendance was definitely Boosie Badazz, who had to bring his lawyers along for supervision shortly after he bonded out of jail.

While walking the red carpet a the annual ceremony, the Louisiana native stopped to speak with the press about several hot topics right now, one of them being snitching and its lack of tolerance within the hip-hop culture these days. When asked why he feels so negatively about those who snitch, Boosie had plenty to say. “It happened to my family. I’ve had two uncles snitched on that did 10-20 years,” he began.

I was on Death Row because somebody lied on me, snitched on me,” he told the interviewer this past weekend. “It’s been detrimental to my family since the ’80s, so that’s why I have no love for people who do that.” As you may recall, Boosie has been particularly hard on Gunna after the YSL rapper accepted a plea deal in his RICO trial earlier this year. He’s denied allegations of informing on Young Thug, but regardless, the rumours persist.

Aside from answering the press’ burning questions at the 2023 BET Awards, Boosie Badazz also “Put It On Da Floor” during Latto’s performance and linked up with Sukihana. While chatting with the latter rap diva he had a NSFW question that was caught on camera and is now making rounds online. Gunplay Speaks On Rappers Snitching & Bragging About It

These days, the conversation around snitching and hip-hop has become pretty volatile online, but Gunplay has his own thoughts on the subject. Moreover, the Miami rapper recently sat down for an interview with Cam Capone News, addressing a wealth of topics. Specifically, he lamented how the culture and game has shifted so much that MCs can now snitch and brag about it on their tracks. Furthermore, he spoke particularly on the Boosie Badazz arrest that went down recently, but his comments apply to other situations as well. While his comments on male and female rappers seem a tad unrelated, the 43-year-old’s point still came across with passion.

“It don’t matter,” Gunplay expressed said. “People don’t care about the integrity like that- the street code, and having integrity like that, it’s just gone. You can snitch now, and it’s okay. You can actually snitch and brag about it. You can be a male rapper one day, and the next day be a female rapper. It’s okay. And then, one day, you know, you can be married one day- and then the next day, be married to a f***in’ giraffe or some s**t, or a tree.

Gunplay’s Disappointment With Snitching Rappers

“Look at the game, man!” the Carol City MC continued. “Look at this s**t! You don’t see this s**t? Am I the only one seeing this s**t? It’s over. Morals is gone.” Of course, people have their own takes, experiences, and interpretations when it comes to these topics. One thing’s for sure, though: Gunplay lives by a strict moral compass when it comes to his beliefs. When people sought refunds for their GoFundMe donations to him after he bought his close collaborator a chain under unrelated circumstances, he went scorched earth on them. The campaign was actually to finance his daughter’s medical bills after emergency heart surgery.

“Every single one of you p***y-a** h*es and f**k n***as that went to the GoFundMe and donated and went and got a motherf***ing refund, you never gave it with your heart,” he said during a We In Miami interview. “You’re a piece of s**t. You’ll die that way. People that see me give my brother a gift, they automatically want to say that I bought that with GoFundMe money. N***a had to pay that back. So now, if you really want to be for real, my n***a, if a n***a spent that on a chain, how the f**k they got it right back instantly with no pressure?” For more news and the latest updates on Gunplay, keep checking in with HNHH.

Gunna’s “a Gift & a Curse” Sells 83k In Its First Week

Gunna has been in the news a lot recently for reasons that don’t have that much to do with his music. Consequently it can be easy to forget that Gunna just dropped his first new album in over a year last week. The album sports 15 tracks and no features and generated 83k sales in its first week. Almost all of those sales came from streaming and it puts Gunna with artists like Lil Durk and Karol G for the best-selling rap albums of the year so far. The 83k is a somewhat significant bump from the 78k the album was originally projected to do a few days ago.

Some fans have pointed out that this is the lowest first week’s sales for a major Gunna release yet. Previously, his lowest debut, 2019’s Drip Or Drown 2 sold 90k. Although that seems condemning at first many fans were quick to point out logical explanations for the slip. The clearest purpose for the dip in sales is likely the album’s lack of promotion. Gunna has largely been absent from any social media for over a year, which is the primary channel for most artists to promote their music. The record was also released very shortly after its announcement and lead single. Those tighter release schedules and lower promotions have caused lower sales for many artists in the past.

Gunna’s First Week Numbers Are In

For the past few months, Gunna has faced allegations of snitching from all sides. Two former collaborators of his, Lil Durk and Lil Baby both reportedly called out his actions. That resulted in him appearing to unfollow both on Instagram this morning. Alternatively, Gunna might be dealing with shade from someone even closer to him.

Young Thug’s brand new album Business Is Business features lyrics calling out snitches. Subsequently many have interpreted it as a shot at Gunna. Other fans online argue that the song was recorded long before his plea deal. What do you think of Gunna’s first-week sales numbers? Tell us in the comment section below.

Young Thug’s New Album Contains Has Hostile Snitching Bars

Last night, Young Thug surprise-released his new album Business Is Business. Given his current legal situation, which has been unfolding in the public eye for over a year, he had a lot to address. For rap fans, one of the biggest curiosities was whether or not Thugger would directly mention Gunna, whose alleged snitching saw him released from prison earlier this year. Other rappers, most recently Lil Durk and Lil Baby, have used their music to take shots at Gunna. Turns out Young Thug does address snitches on the record’s 13th track “Jonesboro.” Even then, it’s unclear whether the lyrics are specifically about Gunna.

Young Thug on the track makes his thoughts on snitches pretty clear. “N*ggas told and he was my homie, I can’t miss him, Ain’t nobody feel him,” the lyrics read. For many fans, this was as scorching an indictment of Gunna’s actions as Young Thug could possibly make. But the more fans dug into things the less clear the intention of the lyrics became. Many online are claiming that the track was written and recorded before Young Thug was ever even locked up. If that’s the case it’s unclear who the lyrics are about but they couldn’t be Gunna. Still, including the song and lyrics on the album could still have been some kind of veiled statement in itself.

Young Thug Calls Out Snitches

Young Thug’s new album is a major event in hip-hop. Not just because of the major storylines it arrives in the midst of, but also the talent involved in it. Superstars like Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert all make appearances in the tracklist. The album also features nearly wall-to-wall production from Metro Boomin’ who’s had a busy 2023 of his own.

Business Is Business is Young Thug’s first new album since 2021’s Punk. Less than a year after that album’s release, Young Thug and Gunna were both picked up on RICO charges alongside 26 others in the reported YSL gang. Do you think the lyrics on Young Thug’s new album are taking shots at Gunna for snitching? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Baby Appears To Take Shots At Gunna In New Song

Yesterday, a clip of Lil Baby shooting a music video for a forthcoming song hit the internet. More than the video or the song itself most fans honed in on a particular lyric. “Some n*ggas taking pleas at trial I know that slime ain’t happy.” reads one of the bars he delivers in the snippet. As if there was any question as to who he was referencing “taking please” he is sure to add in the line “slime ain’t happy.” Slime references Young Thug who is still incarcerated after being denied bond repeatedly.

Dozens of rappers have taken issue with Gunna’s reported snitching in the months since the story first broke. Most recently Lil Durk took shots at the rapper on a podcast appearance saying “that man told.” But Lil Baby taking aim at Gunna is a particularly damning condemnation. The pair rose to stardom together behind their hit song “Drip Too Hard” from their collaborative album Drip Harder. They continued appearing on each other’s songs for years. Lil Baby makes an appearance on Gunna’s 2022 album DS4EVER on the track “25k jacket.”

Lil Baby Takes A Shot At Gunna

Earlier this month, Gunna released the lead single from his new album “bread & butter.” On the song, he reiterates his love for Young Thug but also makes sure to aim back at those who’ve turned their backs on him. While he doesn’t mention anyone by name, fans quickly realized it was likely Lil Durk and Lil Baby he was talking about. That song served as the lead single for Gunna’s a Gift & a Curse album which dropped just last week. While the album doesn’t take many direct shots it does see Gunna often defending himself.

Back in May, Lil Baby released his first new single of 2023 “Go Hard.” It followed up his massive It’s Only Me album last year. The album had features from Young Thug, Future, Nardo Wick, and more. What do you think of Lil Baby taking shots at Gunna for taking a plea deal? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kooda B Opens Up About 6ix9ine Testifying Against Him

In a recent interview with VladTV, Kooda B detailed the experience of 6ix9ine testifying against him. He revealed that the testimony was a major shock to him, explaining that it hurt both him and his family. The artist says that when he discovered that 6ix9ine was testifying against several other people, he thought “Damn, I thought those was brothers.

“Some people not street dudes,” he continued. “If you not a street dude you’ve got to stay in that lane,” he explained, “he jumped in that lane. You’re supposed to go all the way with it.” DJ Vlad then says that if everybody had remained silent, “it would have been a very different trial.” Kooda B agreed, saying “definitely.” When asked if he communicated with 6ix9ine after he got out of jail, Kooda B explained that he didn’t.

Hell no. I couldn’t,” he explained, revealing that he wasn’t allowed to communicate with him since he testified against him. DJ Vlad then asks the artist how upset he was during the testimony. Kooda B reveals that he was confused by the rapper’s decision. “Me?” he asked, “I didn’t do sh*t to you, I’m solid.” He continued, “No cap, anytime you call me I come through.” “I was surprised,” he says, “that sh*t definitely shocked me.” He goes on, “that sh*t hurt my moms, I had him around her. That sh*t hurt my family.”

Towards the end of the clip, DJ Vlad asks Kooda B what he would say to 6ix9ine if he were in the room with them. He tells the host, “I just want like 60 seconds with him,” adding, “nowhere to run nowhere to hide.” Kooda B isn’t the only one to want a go at 6ix9ine. Last month, Lil Durk shared what he’d want to do in a fight with the rapper. “I’m knocking all your teeth out your mouth that’s all I think of in my head,” he revealed.

Gunna “Told,” Says Taxstone In His Take On Snitching Allegations

The conversation surrounding Gunna’s plea deal in the YSL RICO case needs no explanation or summary. That being said, the debate certainly caught new wind online thanks to his most recent album a Gift & a Curse, which addresses many of these accusations on wax. Of course, it’s not in a particularly detailed or name-dropping way, but the College Park MC goes deep into his emotions surrounding this situation and how he feels switched up on. However, Taxstone is the latest figure in the hip-hop world to suggest that he deserves every bit of criticism. Moreover, the podcaster let out a series of tweets offering his view on the subject.

“Offering unknown information in a criminal investigation that can help the governments case is snitching,” Taxstone wrote on Saturday (June 17). “What’s so hard about understanding that. This is not a complex thing there no dry snitching or wet snitching. If you tell the cops something that can help there case get closed you Told. So yes Gunna Told the moment he admitted that YSL was a gang when it’s a record label. Why would you agree with the government that YSL was a gang ? That’s what they’re trying to prove. The sad s**t about gunna plea is he probably really didn’t even know what he was doing probably was just trying to spin out the spot,” he added on Sunday (June 18).

Regardless of the extremes that both sides go to in order to prove a point, video of Gunna testifying in court did make it much more ambiguous for many. Despite all the backlash, Gunna maintains that he did not cooperate and that people misrepresented his actions. Interestingly enough, Taxstone himself is currently in prison related to charges of shooting Troy Ave’s bodyguard. After a lot of legal and social media bakc-and-forths, Ave celebrated victory in the case while mourning his lost friend.

“To all my real ones that been riding with & for Me, today is the day I finally get to clear my name,” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s been almost 7 years since I lost one of my closest friends #RIPBANGA. 7 years of a narrative about it being my fault, 7 years of my character being assassinated all the while Trying to defend myself without saying much! At my weakest points I drew strength from GOD! drew strength from my Children & drew strength from Yall.” For more on Taxstone and Gunna, stay posted on HNHH.

Bandman Kevo Replaces Gunna With A Rat In New Music Video

Bandman Kevo recently dropped a new music video for his song “Alone.” He had previously teased the release of the new video, with a screenshot featuring Gunna covered by the superimposed rat. Now, he’s shared the full music video with fans. It appears as though Gunna being replaced by a rat has taken center stage.

Bandman Kevo is far from the only person to label Gunna a “rat” as of late. Amid accusations that he “snitched” on Young Thug during the YSL RICO trial, several of his peers have publicly cut ties with him. Boosie Badazz, Lil Durk, Lil Gotit, and more have all called the rapper a “rat.” Gunna, however, just unveiled his new album, a Blessing & a Curse. The LP has been fairly well-received by most considering the ongoing drama surrounding him.

Bandman Kevo had previously Tweeted about Gunna, revealing that he wanted his money back for the feature he paid for. “I paid gunna last year for a feature 250k,” he wrote. “And months later he got a caught case which put my feature and everything else got put on hold , just for him to get released and snitch.” He added, “I can’t do a song with dude I need my bread back asap and if they cap im going big lawsuit.”

In April, he spoke to Say Cheese! about the Twitter rant. “Really, I want more money for all the time I wasted over a year,” the artist explained. He went on to say, “I feel like I deserve some real M’s because who knows what the song could have been at before you [Gunna] messed your name up.” Bandman Kevo revealed that he’d like to receive $5 million from Gunna, saying, “Realistically, before he got locked up I would have dropped the song and he would have posted and it would have did what it did. I was gon’ make the song go big.”
