Birdman Believes A Drake, Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne Show Would Net Them $20 Million

Birdman’s very proud of all of his alumni of Cash Money and Young Money, but when those label names come up, there’s a particular trio that immediately comes to mind. Moreover, the rapper and executive recently reflected on how much Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne could make if they did a show together. After all, it’s been a long time (almost a year, and almost a decade before that) since they shared the stage for a performance. Considering the legendary status that they all reached in the game, people would pay a lot of money to see such spectacle. Baby knows this, and told The 85 South Comedy Show podcast just how much a potential show could net the iconic trifecta.

“So you know with Nicki and Drake, that s**t about $15-20million a show,” Birdman stated. “Big facts. A lot of [money on the table]. $4-5million a show. We’ve been offered about $4-5million a show. That’s without Drake and Nicki.” Of course, it’s unsurprising that Lil Wayne alone would be worth so much for a concert. However, his remarks open up the possibility that a Young Money reunion show (or tour, hopefully) would be a massive moment for the culture.

Birdman Speaks On Money-Making Potential Of Drake, Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne Show

Still, we do have to recognize that Young Money is no longer what it was, with each artist going on to shape their own careers. Sure, Weezy still commits to his label artists and Nicki Minaj remains on Young Money, but Drake moved onto OVO and Republic, which Nicki also partnered with. Regardless, Drizzy’s still loyal to Birdman, Cash Money, and Young Money. “I’m always going to be involved in the Cash Money/Young Money imprint,” he told Rap Radar in 2019. “And my loyalty, like I said, always lies there.”

Meanwhile, the last time the three performed together was at the 6 God’s October World Weekend festival in August of 2022. It was the first time they did so in nearly ten years, and it made for an electrifying moment. Doja Cat Is Headlining The Victoria’s Secret World Tour Show With New Music

Ahead of a new album drop and a tour later this year, Doja Cat is adding another big event to her 2023 resumé. Moreover, as reported by Harper’s Bazaar, the Los Angeles artist will headline The Victoria’s Secret World Tour show, premiering via Prime Video on September 26. Not only is this a big moment for her, but also for the brand; the half-fashion show and half-documentary spectacle is its first foray into TV production since its last on-air runway show in 2018. In addition, the World Tour will feature VS20, a crew of 20 artists from all over the globe that worked on ensembles for the revitalization. In fact, the 27-year-old herself contributed to design choices for her performance looks alongside the VS team and her creative director, Brett Alan Nelson.

Furthermore, one of these looks was previewed in Harper’s Bazaar‘s exclusive coverage of the announcement. One of them is a nude-hued ensemble with latex and a lot of creative and futuristic embellishments. With other singles coming after it like “Strike (Holster)” seeing him return to a rap bag, the style is clearly not dead.

Even though the song got him an invite to the country from the Polish Prime Minister, he felt odd that it hit so hard while he entered a new era. “I would’ve never dropped ‘Poland’- ever- because I wanted to pivot myself into this,” Lil Yachty told Zane Lowe. “So I was really irritated when it dropped, but I’m so grateful it did. Like I said, I really don’t know what I do next. I don’t know if I’ma do this again or do more rap.”

Meanwhile, he explained the inspiration behind the song to popular YouTube reactors Zias and B. Lou. “I’ma tell y’all the truth,” he remarked. “I was in the studio, right, working on my new album, and I was actually just trolling. My mans was just drinking a Poland Springs water bottle. I mean obviously I had some wock, but he had a Poland Springs water bottle. I was like, ‘Damn.’ And the song was a joke! I was just trolling. It leaked, and that’s why I was like, technically it’s not finished. It’s just a verse. I never finished the song, but it went cr*zy. Of course, they all attended the show in matching tuxedos, which was as fashionable as it was adorable. With a bright future ahead for the designer at LV, we can only expect many more cute family pics to come.

However, that’s not to say that the Neptunes producer’s tenure hasn’t been without its slight hiccups. For example, an independent fashion designer claimed that Pharrell and Louis Vuitton stole her shopping bag-turned-luxury bag idea for their new collection. While many argued that it wasn’t her place to profit off of the brand in the first place (although it was never clarified that she sold them), hopefully they at least acknowledge her creativity. Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE tour doesn’t just have one of the world’s biggest artists as its headliner; it also brings a lot of extra star power. Not a bad place to hang out and have fun for the Roc Nation representatives; the best place, in fact, some would say. Cam’ron Explains Why He Brought Ma$e On For “It Is What It Is”

Cam’ron says that it was only right for him to bring Ma$e on his new sports talk show, It Is What It Is. Sitting down with Good Day New York for recent a interview, the New York rapper explained that he’s reinvented himself.

“So look, Hip Hop is 50 years old and I’ve been doing this [25 years], so if you don’t reinvent yourself, you’ll be looking at a 1997 Cam’ron,” he said. “I’m like, ‘I love sports and I need to be on television.’ People always offer me things to do on television. So I’m like, ‘Let me create my own show, not somebody giving me a show, and see how it goes.”

So doing this show and creating this show and having him be a part of it, it felt like I’m giving back to him for helping me even be an entertainer.
