Britney Spears Makes Out With Husband Amid Rumors Of “Troubled” Marriage

Britney Spears took to Instagram earlier this week to share a reel of her kissing her husband, model Sam Asghari. The video was posted amid rumors circulating this week that the two have a “troubled” marriage. In the caption, the singer called herself, “blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires [her] everyday.” TMZ claimed earlier this month that various “reliable insiders” told them that the two frequently engage in heated yelling matches. Sources even allege that physical altercations have occurred between the couple. They also claim that Asghari has been spending less time with Britney at their Southern California home.

Asghari recently shared that he was “disgusted” by TMZ‘s TV special on Spears that aired on May 15. “All of a sudden — after 15 years when she’s free after all those gaslighting,” he said. Adding, “All those things that went down — now you’re going to put her under a microscope and tell her story?”

Spears Squashes Rumors

In January, concerns for Spears’ mental state were raised after footage of the singer acting “manic” while having dinner at Joey in Woodland Hills began to circulate. Eyewitnesses claimed that Spears was “talking gibberish,” which resulted in Asghari “storming out” of the restaurant. An employee of the restaurant later said, “it was the diner who taunted her by taking a video without consent.” Spears responded to the concerns on social media, saying, “I know the news is all hyped about me being a little drunk at a restaurant. It’s like they’ll be WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE.” She continued, “I’m so flattered they talk about me like a maniac THEN have the balls to talk about all the negative things that happened in my past!!!”

Concerns for the icon’s mental state were raised again this month, when sources told TMZ that the artist has a “fascination with knives.” The sources say they believe Spears’ fascination stems from her feeling as though she needs a “means of protection,” citing her “constant fear of being institutionalized.” The reports circulated surrounding the release of the trailer for TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom. The trailer also featured allegations that Spears “got physical with Sam.”

Usher Confirms There Will Not Be A “Confessions” Sequel

R&B singer Usher has confirmed that fans should not expect to see a sequel to his 2004 Confessions album. He told The Shade Room earlier this week that speculations of a follow-up are “just a rumor, at this point.” He did, however, add “who knows? When we get there, we’ll see.” He explained, “We got time. There’s space and opportunity to think of new ideas.” Speaking on Confessions, he said “But the one that is 20 years old was a brilliant one.”

The artist shared, “For every producer, writer, and creative that had anything to do with it, we celebrate 20 years of an album.” He went on to discuss the longevity of the 2004 LP, saying, “most people don’t even have careers that last that long.” Usher continued, “to have an actual album that has stood the test of time? I appreciate my fans for continuing to love the music.”

Usher Says Confessions 2 Is “Just A Rumor”

Nowadays, the performer has a successful residency in Las Vegas. His “My Way” residency has featured guests like Yung Miami, Queen Latifah, Kim Kardashian, and more. Over the weekend, Usher also received an honorary Doctorate degree from Berklee. He told graduates in an inspiring commencement speech to, “break the barriers” and “identify that spark in you that motivates you to keep going.” Usher told Scott Evans of Access Hollywood in April that he’d be interested in headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Usher claimed he would “be a fool to say no” to the opportunity. He followed up, saying “you know, one day, that moment will happen.”

Earlier this month, rumors began to circulate that Chris Brown and his crew jumped Usher at his birthday party. Reports claim that the fight occurred due to “disrespect” surrounding singer Teyana Taylor. A video later emerged, showing the two artists arguing at the birthday party. Despite the reported conflict, Usher went on to perform at his Lovers & Friends music festival. Despite reports that the singer was injured in the fight, he appeared to be uninjured during his performance. Brown also went on to perform at the festival, appearing unscathed as well and bringing out special guests like Tyga.

Jamie Foxx Out Of Hopsital “For Weeks” According To Daughter

Jamie Foxx has finally left hospital nearly a month after suffering a medical emergency on set. The news comes from Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, via Instagram. “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”. Foxx was originally hospitalized on April 11 after collapsing on the set of his new Netflix film, Back In Action.

The news comes as something of a surprise, given that the latest reports from “sources close to the situation” indicated the complete opposite. As recently as May 11, outlets were reportedly being told by sources that Foxx’s family was preparing for the worst. However, Corinne Foxx’s message may point to the media’s overeagerness to report on the situation.

Foxx’s Hospitalisation Plagued With Conflicting Accounts

Everyone from TMZ to PEOPLE reportedly has a source “close to Foxx” who has been feeding them information ever since he was hospitalized. However, the battle for exclusives has created a confusing and contradictory timeline. Foxx’s Instagram posts for the first time since his hospitalization, only for Kevin Hart to say that nothing’s changed. One person tells PEOPLE he’s in stable condition on May 7, only for Radar Online to claim his family is “preparing for the worst” on May 10.

Additional fuel has been thrown on the fire by the fact that no images of Foxx has emerged. His family has chosen not to release any during updates, including in Corinne’s latest post. This has led some fans to question whether his family are attempting to deflect media speculation as Foxx continues to struggle. Regardless, it’s wonderful to hear a positive update from someone so close to Foxx. We at HotNewHipHop hope he recovers fully and quickly and that there is more good news to report soon.

Legendary producer, Jermaine Dupri has contributed to some of the most amazing moments in music. From discovering Bow Wow to his chart-topping hits with some of music’s GOATs, JD has had quite the career. Moreover, Jermaine Dupri sets his sights on the big screen. Currently, Dupri is working on the documentary titled Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told. The doc follows the infamous Atlanta spring break festival Freaknik and how it impacted the city and the South.

While Freaknik has a story that’s never been told, most people that attended would like to keep it that way. When word got out that there was a Freaknik documentary in the works, the internet went into a bit of a frenzy. Additionally, many users called out the blatant debauchery amongst the partygoers. Some said that there were going to be a lot of people in trouble for past actions at the festival. However, Jermaine Dupri appeared on the Tamron Hall Show to clear the air. When asked about the documentary and how people were uncomfortable with their past being unwillingly revealed, JD said he’d been awaiting to address these concerns.

Jermaine Dupri Clears The Air

Despite everyone’s worries, JD calmed everyone’s nerves saying, “My vision of Freaknik is really a story about the South and Atlanta.” “It’s not really a story about what everybody keeps talking about,” Dupri elaborated. Jermaine Dupri even admitted that he actually doesn’t like the freaky parts that surround the history of Freaknik. “I don’t like that part because I feel like it’s a little disrespectful because I’m just telling a story of Atlanta, right? And how Atlanta was built into the place that it is today,” he told Tamron Hall.

Not only that, the legendary producer noted that because of the infamous spring break event, it led to people staying in Atlanta. “People came to Atlanta through Freaknik and they stayed. I say that in ‘Welcome to Atlanta.’” he said to the talk show host. “And that’s how Atlanta has become this multi-cultural, multi-city place.” Jermaine Dupri stamped the party as one of the biggest roles in making Atlanta a multi-cultural, multi-city place. Did you go to Freaknik? Are you ready for the documentary? Let the HNHH crew know in the comments below!
