Several Odd Future members got together recently, as seen in a new photo. Tyler, the Creator poses alongside Syd, Taco, Earl Sweatshirt, Mike G, Jasper Dolphin, and more. They were also joined by Vince Staples, all appearing to be in good spirits. It’s unclear why exactly the group linked up, but regardless, fans seem overjoyed to see them all together. With that being said, some users are disappointed that not all the members made it to the mini reunion, missing the presence of Frank Ocean, Hodgy, Left Brain, and more. The Odd Future artists are off pursuing their own separate careers at this point, so either way, it’s interesting to see them revisit their roots.

“It’s giving 2010 and we love to see it,” one Twitter users writes. “BROOOO THEYRE BACK,” another excited fan says. The photo has left commenters taking a trip down memory lane, and pining for a formal Odd Future reunion. Unfortunately, Tyler has said in the past that the members are past that point in their careers, making it unlikely that fans will get to see one, at least in the near future. He didn’t completely write the idea off however, claiming that he’d be open to it.

Odd Future Members Get Together

In a 2020 interview, the Odd Future founder spoke on whether or not the collective would ever get back together to put out another project. “Nine times out of seven, no,” Tyler said. “I would be open to it, but I think everyone is kinda past that. I think some people base it on nostalgia rather than like, ‘Would it actually be good?’ Like, we don’t always need a Bad Boys 5. Even though I like the last one. N***a, it’s there, listen to it.”

He continued, adding that he doesn’t feel like their styles would work together as well as they used to. “Honestly, the OF tapes weren’t that good,” Tyler explained. “It was just a fun time, but musically, it’s like, ‘Uh, coulda did better.’ But, for the time, it was tight. I think now…and I could probably figure it out. I don’t know if the styles will mesh much for a good cohesive thing. No niche like, ‘Oh, this is a good idea.’ Like an actually good thing. I don’t know if the styles would mesh much with everyone. But, who knows, this could change in six weeks.”

NSYNC Might Be Teaming Up With Justin Timberlake For Their First Song In 20 Years

Legendary pop group *NSYNC might just be back soon after all, thanks to a new Entertainment Tonight report. Moreover, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass might reunite on wax for the first time in over twenty years for the soundtrack of the next Trolls movie, Trolls Band Together. Not only that, but the source who spoke to the publication of this alleged development also claimed they will have secret roles in the film itself, which releases on November 17 of this year. Given Timberlake’s strong involvement in the franchise as both a character and soundtrack contributor, maybe this is the perfect setting for everyone to get a big, fat check for nostalgia’s sake and have some fun.

Furthermore, this isn’t the singer’s only reunion this year. In addition to the boy band that launched him coming back (reportedly), Justin Timberlake went back in the studio with Timbaland and even called Nelly Furtado for the sessions. But while the Timbaland news saw confirmation and teasing for quite some time, the news on the NSYNC front had been quite reserved until now. For whatever reason, though, this blockbuster is looking like a solid chance.

Trolls Band Together Trailer Hints At NSYNC Reunion

After all, the trailer above even hints at this reunion in a corny but playfully funny way. “We’re out of sync,” singer Troye Sivan’s character tells Timberlake’s character in the teaser. “We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: to the back streets.” Sure, maybe you find all those boy band and male group references to be a bit of an eye-roll, but this is Trolls we’re talking about. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if NSYNC’s return isn’t on this big stage, but rather performed by these cartoon characters for a kids movie?

Irony aside, die-hards fans of NSYNC are probably really excited with this news, given that the last song they ever put out was a single for their last album, was back in 2002. They’ve reunited either partly or fully on occasion, most notably when the group except Timberlake joined Ariana Grande at Coachella. Recently, one of its members Jim Jones sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on Drink Champs and addressed whether the group would ever come back together for a reunion album. Moreover, their last official release as a group was the 2018 album Diplomatic Ties, which was their first in 14 years. When considering whether he, Cam’ron, and Juelz Santana would hop on wax together again for a full-length, Capo brought the financials into play. However, he made it clear that it wasn’t all about the money.

“I ain’t gonna lie, if it was a perfect world and I could have things my way…” Jim Jones remarked. “For me this is just how I see it. Partnering up with the right person, whether it be a label or person who has an invested interest to see us win. And once we have a sound blueprint of that, and not to say it’s about the money. But money makes this s**t move when it comes to doing music.

Jim Jones Theorizes Potential Dipset Reunion Album

“There’s a certain aesthetic that we wanna see and a type of sound the people wanna hear,” Jim Jones continued. “We ain’t trying to cheat the people with things like that. I think a lot of that has been going on in the past years of us doing this Diplomat installments because we’re so used to this whole independent layout. But I think that we put so much work in things like that that I think the people deserve a real Diplomat.”

Sleepy Brown has advised fans not to hold out hope for an Outkast reunion between Big Boi and Andre 3000. Speaking with TMZ for a recent interview, he explained that Andre is busy doing his own thing for the time being.

“Nah, they not,” Sleepy Brown told the outlet. “[Andre 3000] is on a-whole-nother journey and he’s, you know, doing something. But me and Big [Boi] are still doing tours and stuff like that. Don’t hold your breath for no OutKast reunion. Don’t do it to yourself. It’s not gon’ happen, folks. If you wanna see us, we gon’ be Dungeon Family. That’s about it.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sleepy Brown discussed his favorite Outkast album. While the choice was tough, in the end, he went with Aquemini. “Man, you know, I can say Aquemini, I can say Stankonia,” he said. “The thing about it [is], each album was a different journey. OutKast has taken people through country music with ‘Rosa Parks,’ they did rock with Stankonia, they did every genre you could ever think of in music, so it’s kinda hard to say which one is what.”

He continued: “But I’ma say Aquemini. For me, that album was the moment when OutKast really flourished as producers, too. So for me, that album is me watching them grow. That’s why it’s my favorite.” Sleepy Brown has worked with Outkast on many occasions over the years, including on some of their biggest hits such as “The Way You Move” and “So Fresh, So Clean.”

Outkast released Aquemini as their third studio album back in September 1998. The project featured several of the duo’s biggest hits including “Rosa Parks,” “Da Art of Storytellin’ (Pt. 1),” and more. Aquemini landed at number 49 on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list in 2020.

The Fugees’ Reunion Was A Shock To Pras

Following the Fugees’ recent reunion at the 2023 Roots Picnic, sources shared some behind-the-scenes info with TMZ Hip Hop. A representative for Pras revealed that the performance came as a surprise to the artist, who is currently awaiting sentencing for recent charges of conspiracy and fraud. The source also shared that the trio didn’t have an opportunity to rehearse prior to the last-minute performance, which featured six songs from their 1996 LP, The Score. Many fans speculated that the reunion could have been the last they saw of the Fugees for a while, however, sources suggest they “stay tuned!!!”

In April, Pras was found guilty of 10 charges surrounding an alleged international conspiracy plot. Though he has not yet been sentenced, his charges could leave him spending over 20 years behind bars. “We are extremely disappointed in that result. But are very, very confident in the ultimate outcome of this case,” Pras’ lawyer David Kenner stated following the verdict. “If we do move to a sentencing hearing I remain very confident we will certainly appeal this case. This is not over.”

In August of last year, the Fugees canceled their scheduled reunion tour, citing COVID-19 as the cause. The cancelation came amid Pras’ legal trouble, leading to speculation that it had more to do with the artist’s legal battle than the group was letting on. Amid the battle, Pras has also faced accusations that he was an FBI informant. He has continuously shot down the allegations.

“Look, I was never in the past, present, or future an FBI or a CIA informant. Never ever. If people want to check it out, look at the testimonies. They could see that all within the records, and all the DC courts,” he stated last month. He also said, “This is not a Tekashi 6ix9ine situation, respectfully.” “Because he admitted he was an informant, basically. So I was never. I never said I was,” Pras claims, “I am not now and never will be an FBI or a CIA informant.”

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Matthew Knowles expressed his interest in the trio reuniting for new music. The group has not released a track together since 2005. He mentioned that the decision ultimately rests with the ladies themselves. He also said that, as their manager, he would fully support such a choice. He attributes this hope to the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry.

Destiny’s Child has not released any new music for almost 20 years. Their most recent music release was the 2005 track “Cater 2 U” from their compilation album #1s. Their last studio album was Destiny Fulfilled in 2004. However, the group’s last performance together was far more recent. Chlöe and Halle, the Bailey sisters, reunited onstage during the former’s In Pieces tour stop in Atlanta on Sunday night (April 23). Moreover, the “Pray It Away” singer shared some thankful words and a few pictures on Instagram. LeBron James is someone who has played with a lot of amazing players over the years. During his second stint in Cleveland, he had a lot of stars come and go. One person who stuck by him through all four seasons was none other than Kevin Love. Love was brought in via trade, and overall, he was fantastic on that team. However, since LeBron left, Love has had very few reasons to actually stay with the Cavaliers. Now, Love is being bought out and he will get to go to another team.

As it stands, very few actually know what the market is for a player like Love. He hasn’t really shown much over the last few years, and there is skepticism that he will add a lot to a contending team. Although, that hasn’t stopped franchises like the Miami Heat from inquiring about K-Love. He is a veteran presence who has won before, and that is very valuable to some of these franchises. Perhaps even LeBron’s Lakers could use him.

During an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst claimed that a LeBron James and Love reunion is certainly a possibility. In fact, the Lakers are “kicking the tires” in regard to a potential signing. Of course, bringing in Love definitely creates some risks. After all, he is not the player he once was and if anything, the Lakers should be going younger. Although, LeBron has a lot of pull within the Lakers, and if he wants Love to sign there, he can probably facilitate that reunion.

Apparently, the Phoenix Suns are also a potential place for Kevin Love to go. They are now the favorites to win it all thanks to the addition of Kevin Durant. That said, no team has made a final call on Love and they probably won’t for quite a bit of time. Either way, we’re sure Lakers fans are going to have some very strong opinions about all of this.
