Fat Joe Wants Credit For Nelly & Ashanti’s Reunion

Fat Joe joked that he wants credit for Nelly and Ashanti’s renewed relationship, after helping set the two up at his Verzuz with Ja Rule in 2021. He discussed the couple’s relationship during a live stream on Instagram with fans, earlier this week. “They look so happily ever after,” Joe said after discussing their meeting.

Later in the stream, he recalled FaceTiming them both after Nelly was seen rubbing Ashanti’s belly on stage, prompting pregnancy rumors. “I immediately tell them I need 10 percent of this kid because if it wasn’t for Verzuz, that I brought Nelly out [during] me against Ja Rule, that’s when they saw each other and energy connected again. That’s when he said I gotta have her. He was over there contemplating; he really wanted to go over there,” he said.

From there, Joe explained that someone from his crew encouraged Nelly to approach Ashanti at the event. “He goes over there, and that starts the conversation. You know somebody gotta crack the ice — I don’t know why they fell out.” Fat Joe’s Verzuz opponent, Ja Rule, previously commented on Nelly and Ashanti’s reconciliation and described it as unsurprising. “You can tell sometimes when women – they want that old thing back. I don’t want to blow sis up. But the chemistry was there,” Ja Rule said during a recent appearance on The Tamron Hall Show. “And I think for both of them it came back quick. So I think they missed each other. It had to be that way because of the way they just clicked and came back so fast.”

Chloe x Halle Have New Music On The Way

For one, Halle welcomed her first child Halo at the end of last year with DDG, following months of relentless pregnancy rumors. She also appeared in The Little Mermaid and The Color Purple in 2023, all while keeping her growing bump a secret from the public.

As for Chloe, she blew fans away with her debut solo album In Pieces earlier this year, and again with a supporting tour. She recently accepted the “Generation Next” award at the Urban One Honors, a strong start to the new year. Chloe was also busy defending her sister amid the aforementioned pregnancy rumors throughout the end of 2023, which was surely no easy task.

Obviously, 2024 is bound to be yet another great year for them.

In September of last year, Nelly and Ashanti finally confirmed rumors that they had rekindled their romance, much to the delight of fans everywhere. Since sharing the news, the adorable duo has been very vocal about their love for one another, frequently showing it off with over-the-top gifts, parties, and more. Amid their reunion, countless fans and peers have shown their support for the pair, most recently being Ja Rule.

During his recent appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, he explained that he wasn’t exactly shocked to hear that Nelly and Ashanti were back together, as their “chemistry” has always been undeniable. He described how his former collaborator and his wife Aisha Atkins are friends, which seemingly gave him some insight into the performer’s feelings.

“Martin” Cast Reunites On Stage At Emmy Awards

The cast of the iconic sitcom, Martin, reunited at the Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night. In addition to Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Carl Anthony Payne II, and Tichina Arnold all took the stage. It featured a replicated set of Martin’s iconic living room. Afterward, Lawrence presented the Best Actor in a Comedy Series award to The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White.

During the presentation, Payne joked that he was there under the impression they’d be receiving an award. Arnold comically explained: “We’re presenting an award not being presented with one, knucklehead.”

Tisha Campbell, who played Gina Waters-Payne on the show, spoke about the occasion with ET’s Kevin Frazier ahead of the show. “Yes, this is my first time here and it is very important,” Campbell said. “You know, during the ’90s it’s funny Kevin, we weren’t nominated ever and UI had a publicist back then and I said, ‘Can I well, you know, can I be nominated? You think we can get a nomination for lead actress?’ And she was like, ‘Tisha, you’re not going to be nominated, you can’t get on the ballot.’ And I said, ‘Why not?’ And she says, ‘You know why, you’re Black.’ And so I was like, ‘Can I get best supporting actress, we can sneak in that way.’ And she was like, ‘You’ll never get on the ballot,’ and so to see the diversity today. To see my sisters from Abbott Elementary and Scandal and all these people who are representing. Representation really does matter.”

Drake & Johnny Manziel Post Up For A Picture Ten Years After “Draft Day”

“SZN is alive and well always,” Drake captioned his most recent Instagram post, which features a special reunion in his lore. Moreover, he posted up with none other than Johnny Manziel, a former college and pro football player who shares a very close relationship with the Toronto superstar. Readers might remember his 2014 song “Draft Day,” which is dedicated to the then-rookie and shouts him out in the chorus: “Draft day, Johnny Manziel, five years later, how am I the man still?” Now, ten years after that song dropped, it seems like the two are still meeting up to kick it and celebrate their careers.

Furthermore, they also have a history of sticking up for one another, which Aubrey Graham first did with “Draft Day” with his staunch show of support. Another example, this time in the inverse, relates to one of the rapper’s multiple feuds with Kanye West, back when it wasn’t an on-and-off-again rivalry but rather a vague animosity. Johnny Manziel alleged that the Chicago rapper is afraid of Drake, and spoke on living close to their Calabasas homes. We wonder what he might have to say about the two’s bond these days…

However, it’s also been heartening to see both of them go through a lot of hoops and obstacles on their own, but still coming out with their heads high to meet again. Of course, this is much easier for Drake, whose greatest losses probably still made him a whole lot of cash and nabbed him a whole lot of fans and acclaim. As for Johnny Manziel, it’s been a turbulent road through various football leagues and a lot of personal struggle, too. But through his own growth, statements, and media like a documentary on his wild NFL career, he’s been able to make peace with everything, tell his story, and feel fulfilled.

Destiny’s Child recently set the Internet ablaze after one of its members, LeToya Luckett, posted the group’s first-ever picture of all five main members together. For those unaware, they went through various lineup changes throughout their history together, and they recently met up for the RENAISSANCE film’s world premiere from Beyoncé. We thought that was all, but we just got this special new treat on Wednesday (January 3) to witness. It seems like this was a particularly thankful post from Luckett about her year as a whole that championed this as one of its best moments.

All of the Chilren.” The superstar R&B group began as Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson. Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin replaced Luckett and Roberson in 2000, and after Franklin left after five months, this formed their most successful lineup.

Furthermore, this caveat is why Franklin doesn’t appear in this picture, although this doesn’t seem to be a combative departure or omission. Regardless, it’s amazing to see Destiny’s Child come together after decades of greatness, especially amid certain rumors in the mill. Back in May of 2023, Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles teased a potential reunion album. While he clarified that the decision rests solely within the current lineup, as their manager, he expresses his wholehearted support of the hypothetical moment.

Meanwhile, back in 2022, the music executive explained why Beyoncé’s sister, Solange, never joined the group. “You would think joining [the group] would be a dream to her,” he shared on social media. “She had every opportunity to seize the success that the group was experiencing. And Solange’s desires and faith in herself trumped my personal desires for her. You see, I realized then that she had an unmatched character and an unwavering belief in herself. Me as a father could never get in the way of that. I finally supported and encouraged her decision. Cardi B & Offset Reunite For Christmas

Cardi B and Offset have briefly reunited for Christmas. The move appears to have been made in order to minimize the disruption to their children’s holiday. In a collection of videos posted to Instagram, Cardi showed off her kids opening their various presents. However, fans quickly noticed that Offset was also present, helping Wave open some of his gifts.

However, this comes just days after Cardi was up in the club yelling “f-ck my baby daddy” for all to hear. It’s clear that the recently-split couple are only doing this for the sake of their kids and that they have no reconciled. Their breakup remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

Meanwhile, Cardi’s aforementioned club outing led Charleston White to declare that he no longer wants to date the rapper. “I don’t like Cardi B no more. The reversal of interest comes after White initially expressed a lot of interest in dating Cardi after news of her split from Offset first emerged. “I f-ck with the Migos. But I sure would like to go on a date with Cardi B. She’s fair game now. Why shouldn’t I go on a date with Cardi B? Cardi B can I take you out? Listen, we can do a Metaverse date. You go to a restaurant, I go to a restaurant. I used to want twelve gold teeth for Christmas, but I don’t want twelve gold teeth no more. I want a three-hour conversation with Cardi B,” White said.

Destiny’s Child Reunites At Beyonce’s “RENAISSANCE” Film’s World Premiere

Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE film just had its world premiere in Hollywood over the weekend, and a lot of celebrities showed out in their best for the occasion. Lori Harvey, Chlöe, Halle Bailey, DDG, Tina Lawson, Matthew Knowles, Janelle Monáe, Victoria Monét, and so many others popped out to have a great time. Most notably, though, this event also brought about another Destiny’s Child reunion, which is always amazing to see. Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland looked stunning, whereas OG members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett also came dressed to impress.The only other name missing- aside Queen Bey herself, who didn’t appear on the “chrome” carpet for the premiere- was Farrah Franklin, and the reason for her absence is publicly unknown.

Regardless, it’s still great to see the R&B icons have a ball together again, and come together for a monumental occasion. In fact, the RENAISSANCE film features some moments dedicated to capturing Destiny’s Child’s reunion at the Houston Homecoming show for the tour. “It was like a new birth for us, and a lot of healing,” Beyonce said in a narration over the footage. Maybe this won’t be the last we’ll hear from these female singers, as 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of the group’s debut album.

After all, Matthew Knowles hinted at a comeback in May of this year. “It’s a decision that the ladies would have to make,” he explained. “And I would certainly, certainly support that decision as I still manage Destiny’s Child. I would love to see that as well. I think the fans will be just overjoyed, overwhelmed. And hopefully they do one last time in their career. Hopefully they give us one last album. Who knows? You never know. You never say it can’t happen. Because this is entertainment. A lot of things can happen.”

Chrisean Rock Seems Open To Blueface Reunion: “Let Me Know”

Fans were surprised when they saw Chrisean Rock and Blueface get together for Thanksgiving yesterday, but it looks like there isn’t as much animosity there as they had assumed. During an Instagram Live earlier this week, Chrisean made it seem as if she hasn’t completely ruled out the idea of rekindling their relationship. Things have gotten pretty ugly between the two of them in the months since Chrisean Jr.’s birth, and fans were under the assumption that they were over for good. Seeing as though they’ve shocked the internet more than a few times with their relationship antics, however, it’s not impossible.

“We both dealing with the same things,” the Baddies star said during the live. “So, if we want the same thing, let me know.” Obviously, a reunion would be pretty complicated at this point, as Blueface is now engaged to the mother of his first two kids, Jaidyn Alexis. Chrisean has previously stated, however, that she believes Blueface only proposed to make her jealous. In the days following the proposal, she even claimed that Jaidyn’s ring was originally meant for her.

Even if they don’t return to their famously tumultuous romantic relationship, it’s safe to say that fans would like to see them remain on better terms. Blueface & Chrisean Rock Spend Thanksgiving Together, Put Issues Aside For Their Kid

Despite all the rough patches, breakups, and fights that they’ve been through, Chrisean Rock and Blueface still have love for each other. Moreover, the two recently reunited for Thanksgiving, spending some quality time with his kids and with their son, Chrisean Jr. Overall, it seemed like quite the wholesome affair, with each rapper and reality TV star looking like it was all smiles as they hung out with their family. At the very least, it’s a breath of fresh air compared to how much their toxic dynamic manifested in online feuds and the like. We’re sure that won’t stop anytime soon, but for a holiday of thankfulness, we’re happy to see them come together.

Furthermore, even Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, had to speak on this reunion with Chrisean Rock. “That’s right son you don’t owe no one but them kids,” she wrote on her Instagram Story, reacting to Chrisean’s posts of the occasion. “She only want her cut in the end. Of course, this Thanksgiving meeting between Chrisean Rock and Blueface is also notable because of the latter’s relationship with Jaidyn Alexis. That whole side of the drama had each femcee at odds with each other, and there’s been too many left turns and reversals to accurately summarize. Still, we can safely assume that the California MC split his time between both families and was able to spend quality time with his kids on either side. If not, then we’re sure we’ll be hearing about it in the next drama cycle.

Meanwhile, it looks like Chrisean is stirring up a pot of her own when it comes to her rumored relationship status. Whether is K Suave or Lil Mabu, the Baltimore native is likely looking to fill that void and work on herself along the way.
