Diddy & Shyne Surprise Fans With London Reunion: “This Is Real Love”

During a recent charity event in London, Diddy brought out a very special guest for a few songs. He surprised fans with Shyne, a former Bad Boy signee, who’s since become a politician. Shyne is now the Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives. He performed two tracks from his 2000 self-titled debut, “Bad Boyz” and “Bonnie & Shyne.”

“Ayo Shyne, I love you from the bottom of my heart,” Diddy declared onstage. “This is real love. My brother Shyne is fighting for his people of Belize right now. He’s gonna be the future, I predicted it, Prime Minister of Belize.” Shyne also turned 45-years-old today (November 8), celebrating with a backstage birthday cake.

The rapper turned politician’s unique path will be detailed in an upcoming DJ Khaled and Roc Nation-produced documentary, The Honorable: Shyne. “Immigrating from Belize to Brooklyn as a child left to survive and thrive in the concrete jungle of New York, Hip Hop had a massive influence on my life, giving me the space and community to explore my creativity and amplify the voice of my pain and purpose,” Shyne told Billboard in October. “The difficult decisions of my life have shaped me into the person I am today, steadfast in my desire to build a better life for the people of Belize and humanity.”

Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank Set The Past Aside To Bring TGT Back

It looks like TGT- comprised of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank– will be making a comeback following years of feuding. Moreover, the R&B supergroup recently came together backstage and hashed things out, with Tank and Ginuwine asking Tyrese if he’s willing to split things evenly from here on out. For those unaware, they formed in 2007 but didn’t release an album until 2013, and faced internal conflict plus label issues at the time. However, it seems like the trio is really to set all that aside and continue their great work in the genre. Whether that results in a new album remains to be seen, but they’re definitely cooking something up.

“I knew it would happen,” Ginuwine captioned the aforementioned clip of the official TGT reunion. “I just want it to be perfect for each and every individual. We come together to say we are Kings so let’s move forward. Back in April of 2023, Tyrese seemingly confirmed that TGT had another album on the way coming very soon. “I got some great news for you,” he told Tank and J. Valentine on the iHeartMedia R&B Money podcast. “Atlantic Records has officially agreed to sign TGT for a second album… yeah, congratulations.” Then, the actor and Tank started to talk about what the project could look like, although they didn’t give a release date. Of course, they acknowledged that they would have to come to an agreement on these things with Ginuwine present. As such, it seems like an opportunity like this is exactly what the three needed to set their comeback up.

Eminem & Ex-Wife Kim Will Reunite At Daughter Hailie’s Wedding

When it comes to famous families in music, it’s rare to see them be known purely through the music rather than as all of them being celebrities. Still, that hasn’t stopped the Mathers family from being one of the most buzzed-about and well-known. Eminem put a lot of his personal story into his music, which resulted in a couple of lawsuits and long feuds. However, now that a lot of that is in the past, it’s been interesting to see how these relationships developed. Now, for his daughter Hailie Jade’s wedding, it seems like there will be a public reunion of sorts.

Moreover, according to Page Six, the rapper’s ex-wife Kim confirmed to The US Sun that they will both attend the ceremony. In addition, she also gave some insight into what her relationship with Eminem and the rest of her kids is like these days. “Not often, but often enough!” she responded to a question about how much she’s able to see them. Even though these seem like pretty small details, they still probably warmed many fans’ hearts at the thought of how much things have changed. After all, there was a point when they likely didn’t want to even see each other.

Furthermore, Kim also remarked how Marshall Mathers walked his adoptive daughter Alaina down the aisle at her recent wedding. “He wasn’t going to miss that,” she shared, and also pointed out that their daughter Hailie was Alaina’s maid of honor. The ceremony was “extravagant” in Kim’s words, and we’d guess the one for Eminem’s biological daughter will be no different. Some people actually wondered why the Detroit MC wasn’t in any public pictures of that event. Regardless, maybe we’ll actually see this reunion in some way.

Furthermore, photographers caught the pair holding hands as they left the restaurant. This has led to rumors that the couple, who have a 40-year age gap, may have gotten back together.

The couple haven’t been linked as an item since Cher postponed their wedding back in May. Despite seeming like a strong couple, a source told Radar Online at the time that “Cher’s starting to see Alexander in a different light.” However, sources told the Mail after the recent dinner outing that despite the split, the exes have been in constant communication. Jay Rock Shares Update On Black Hippy, Leaving The Door Open For A Reunion

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen them reunite on wax, but Black Hippy remains one of the most revered rap groups of the past few decades. Moreover, the TDE alumni (consisting of Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Kendrick Lamar) is still tight despite radio silence on release fronts– according to Rock. TMZ recently caught up with the California rapper and asked him about what the legendary collective is up to. It’s a question that fans often ask, and recently actually received an update on courtesy of label boss Top Dawg. Regardless of the hype, it seems from the 38-year-old’s words that they’re still tight, but probably won’t drop something anytime soon.

Specifically, he said that he and Kendrick are still cool despite him leaving the label, and that the same goes for the other members of Black Hippy. In addition, Jay Rock highlighted ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming release, his own, and Ab-Soul’s recently released HERBERT. With that in mind, the Watts native suggested that everyone’s too busy to work on something together. However, he didn’t close the door on it, either, so maybe he just had to be tight-lipped to not spoil the surprise.

Of course, a new Black Hippy song, album, or something else altogether sounds way too good to be true. It’s one of those 2010s hip-hop myths that seemed more and more unlikely as each MC’s career progressed. Not only that, but there’s already plenty of material between each other to enjoy, so this isn’t as mythical or awaited as some other dream rap collabs. While it’s disheartening to hear that what we have is all we’ll get, we’ve gotten no such confirmation of that from any of these artists. Still, with only teases in mind, it’s hard not to be a little skeptical.

Most importantly, each artist is still dead-set on crafting their path with patience and skill. Rock recently dropped his new single “Too Fast (Pull Over)” with Anderson .Paak and Latto, and his next album’s soon to come. All we can ask for is that they don’t forget about each other and their chemistry, whether in ten days or ten years. After being released from prison, it appears that B.G. is hitting up some old classics. “For the record, I just want n-ggas to know that my n-gga official Cash Money — ain’t no cap in that,” Birdman said during an appearance on The 85 South Show on September 8. “Ya heard me? Ain’t nobody he can ever sign with beside this shit. I’m bringing all this shit together. B.G. signed to Cash Money so y’all don’t got to hear it from nowhere else.”

It’s likely that Birdman’s vehement declaration was aimed at Gucci Mane, who had offered B.G. a $1 million record deal in 2022. “My 1017 family help me welcome home the living legend @BGHollyHood! Glad u home bruh! Got so much love and respect for u as a man and artist! Get at me, I got a milli for u! Wanna sign u to 1017!!!!! #1017Mafia,” Gucci tweeted after since-debunked claims of B.G. being released began to circulate.

Everything We Know About B.G.’s Prison Release

B.G. was released from prison earlier this week after serving 11 years on weapons and witness tampering charges. However, his release came with the standard bevy of court-mandated conditions to ensure his freedom is maintained. The rapper must attend substance dependency treatment programs. Furthermore, he must “actively pursue a GED or vocational training equivalent in order to better set him up for future employment.” Additionally, he must complete 400 hours of unpaid community service and is barred from possessing a firearm. It will be interesting how his immediate post-release life shakes out.

However, B.G. has also been shown plenty of love since getting out. The Game, Bun B, Boosie, and Mack Maine were just some of the figures texting or FaceTiming the rapper. Several Odd Future members got together recently, as seen in a new photo. Tyler, the Creator poses alongside Syd, Taco, Earl Sweatshirt, Mike G, Jasper Dolphin, and more. They were also joined by Vince Staples, all appearing to be in good spirits. It’s unclear why exactly the group linked up, but regardless, fans seem overjoyed to see them all together. With that being said, some users are disappointed that not all the members made it to the mini reunion, missing the presence of Frank Ocean, Hodgy, Left Brain, and more. The Odd Future artists are off pursuing their own separate careers at this point, so either way, it’s interesting to see them revisit their roots.

“It’s giving 2010 and we love to see it,” one Twitter users writes. “BROOOO THEYRE BACK,” another excited fan says. The photo has left commenters taking a trip down memory lane, and pining for a formal Odd Future reunion. Unfortunately, Tyler has said in the past that the members are past that point in their careers, making it unlikely that fans will get to see one, at least in the near future. In a 2020 interview, the Odd Future founder spoke on whether or not the collective would ever get back together to put out another project. “Nine times out of seven, no,” Tyler said. “I would be open to it, but I think everyone is kinda past that. I think some people base it on nostalgia rather than like, ‘Would it actually be good?’ Like, we don’t always need a Bad Boys 5. Even though I like the last one. N***a, it’s there, listen to it.”

He continued, adding that he doesn’t feel like their styles would work together as well as they used to. “Honestly, the OF tapes weren’t that good,” Tyler explained. “It was just a fun time, but musically, it’s like, ‘Uh, coulda did better.’ But, for the time, it was tight. I think now…and I could probably figure it out. I don’t know if the styles will mesh much for a good cohesive thing. No niche like, ‘Oh, this is a good idea.’ Like an actually good thing. I don’t know if the styles would mesh much with everyone. But, who knows, this could change in six weeks.”

NSYNC Might Be Teaming Up With Justin Timberlake For Their First Song In 20 Years

Legendary pop group *NSYNC might just be back soon after all, thanks to a new Entertainment Tonight report. Moreover, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass might reunite on wax for the first time in over twenty years for the soundtrack of the next Trolls movie, Trolls Band Together. Not only that, but the source who spoke to the publication of this alleged development also claimed they will have secret roles in the film itself, which releases on November 17 of this year. Given Timberlake’s strong involvement in the franchise as both a character and soundtrack contributor, maybe this is the perfect setting for everyone to get a big, fat check for nostalgia’s sake and have some fun.

Furthermore, this isn’t the singer’s only reunion this year. In addition to the boy band that launched him coming back (reportedly), Justin Timberlake went back in the studio with Timbaland and even called Nelly Furtado for the sessions. But while the Timbaland news saw confirmation and teasing for quite some time, the news on the NSYNC front had been quite reserved until now. For whatever reason, though, this blockbuster is looking like a solid chance.

Trolls Band Together Trailer Hints At NSYNC Reunion

After all, the trailer above even hints at this reunion in a corny but playfully funny way. “We’re out of sync,” singer Troye Sivan’s character tells Timberlake’s character in the teaser. “We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: to the back streets.” Sure, maybe you find all those boy band and male group references to be a bit of an eye-roll, but this is Trolls we’re talking about. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if NSYNC’s return isn’t on this big stage, but rather performed by these cartoon characters for a kids movie?

Irony aside, die-hards fans of NSYNC are probably really excited with this news, given that the last song they ever put out was a single for their last album, was back in 2002. They’ve reunited either partly or fully on occasion, most notably when the group except Timberlake joined Ariana Grande at Coachella. Jim Jones Addresses Dipset Reunion Album & What It Would Take To Happen

As one of the biggest and best crews to come out of New York in the 2000s, Dipset took the hip-hop game by storm. Recently, one of its members Jim Jones sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on Drink Champs and addressed whether the group would ever come back together for a reunion album. Moreover, their last official release as a group was the 2018 album Diplomatic Ties, which was their first in 14 years. When considering whether he, Cam’ron, and Juelz Santana would hop on wax together again for a full-length, Capo brought the financials into play. However, he made it clear that it wasn’t all about the money.

“I ain’t gonna lie, if it was a perfect world and I could have things my way…” Jim Jones remarked. “For me this is just how I see it. Partnering up with the right person, whether it be a label or person who has an invested interest to see us win. And once we have a sound blueprint of that, and not to say it’s about the money. But money makes this s**t move when it comes to doing music.

“There’s a certain aesthetic that we wanna see and a type of sound the people wanna hear,” Jim Jones continued. “We ain’t trying to cheat the people with things like that. But I think that we put so much work in things like that that I think the people deserve a real Diplomat.”

Meanwhile, this would be a new chapter in a history that resulted in tensions between the Roc-A-Fella-signed group and the label.
