Yesterday (March 6) marked the arrival of Shannon Sharpe’s latest Club Shay Shay interview. This week, Unc sat down with music industry executive Steve Stoute, also bringing in Illmatic MC Nas via FaceTime to talk about coming up out of the Queensbridge Projects around the same time. After recalling the beginnings of his career, Stoute shared some stories about his personal life – including the time Kanye West took over the microphone at his wedding to freestyle.

When Sharpe asked his guest about the rumoured moment, the 53-year-old was shocked that others knew about it. “Man, how do you know this? Man, shut up. Who told you that? Nah man, who told you this?” he responded in disbelief. The ex-athlete teased, “The night has a thousand eyes. Steve, I’m just asking the question. I just wanna know. My audience wanna know. Maxwell was performing, Kanye got in there and started freestyling. Yes or no that happened?”

Seeing as Ye infamously stole Taylor Swift’s microphone to speak up for Beyonce at the 2009 MTV VMAs, it’s not hard to imagine him interrupting someone else. “That’s so wild that you know that, man. Who would tell you that? Yes, Kanye grabbed the mic and started freestyling, and it was… craziness. That’s all I can tell you. It was crazy,” Stoute reflected around the 1:11:48 mark in the video below.

Earlier this week, Rihanna touched down in India for her eagerly anticipated private pre-wedding performance. The celebration took place earlier today, for Anant Ambani, the son of one of the richest men in India, and his bride-to-be Radhika Merchant. Reportedly, she delivered a medley of her biggest hits, but it cost the newlyweds a pretty penny.

According to Daily Mail, Rihanna is charging a whopping $5 million for her performance. While it’s certainly no small price to pay, it’s only a drop in the bucket of what the entire event is said to have cost, $120 million. Apparently, the catering contract alone came in at a staggering $20 million. Sources close to the family suspect that that number will rise drastically once the actual wedding, which is scheduled for July, approaches.

Reportedly, countless high-profile guests like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Disney CEO Bob Iger, Ivanka Trump, Hillary Clinton, and more were also in attendance. Amid news of RiRi’s arrival in Jamnagar, clips started to circulate online of the hitmaker’s luggage. Clearly, she came prepared. The series of massive platforms holding her gear being dragged by a vehicle immediately prompted jokes on social media. “What she bring with her? A folding house?” one commenter wondered.

Other commenters suggested that the platforms were carrying equipment necessary for the performance instead of Rihanna’s personal belongings, which she later confirmed. “The stage couldn’t fit in my carryon,” she later replied to the speculation, adding a shrugging emoji. Clips from the show have since gone viral on Twitter/X, revealing that she performed classics like “Stay,” “B*tch Better Have My Money,” “We Found Love,” and more.

Usher shared a series of pictures from his wedding with Jennifer Goicoechea on Instagram, on Wednesday. The two exchanged vows in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas after his performance during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. A representative confirmed the news to PEOPLE afterward.

“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family,” a representative told the outlet. “They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”

They got married at Vegas Weddings’ drive-thru tunnel, The Fast Lane. Usher rocked an extravagant black and white tuxedo while Goicoechea wore a white, off-the-shoulder pantsuit with matching designer glasses. Captioning the pictures on Instagram, he wrote: “One of them Ones.” Fans shared plenty of supportive messages in the comments section. “Congratulations!! This is truly your era! May God bless your union. I pray for a happy, successful, prosperous marriage,” one user wrote. Another added: “Love this!!! Boosie Badazz Reveals Marriage Plans During Court Appearance

It’s no secret that Boosie Badazz has had his fair share of legal drama, but it looks like the rapper won’t be letting it get in the way of love. Last week, the Louisiana native appeared in court via phone for his ongoing felony gun possession case. During the appearance, he asked the judge to modify the conditions of his bond to allow him to see his fiancée, who he’s been apart from since June of 2023.

“We vehemently oppose that,” Attorney Michael Wheat said of Boosie’s request. According to Wheat, authorities don’t want Boosie making contact with his wife-to-be due to security concerns. His fiancée wasn’t a witness in the case, or even in the same state as Boosie during his arrest. Wheat failed to share more information about the specific concerns initially, leading Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo to call the no-contact order a “serious curtailment of [Boosie’s] rights.” After a lengthy sidebar conversation with Wheat, however, the judge decided to impose another 60 days of the order.

It appears as though Boosie will have to wait a bit longer to be reunited with his fiancée. Luckily, he’ll be free to see her as much as he wants after the 60 days are up, as long as the government doesn’t raise any more objections. During the hearing, Boosie asked the judge whether or not the no-contact order should impact his plans to get married in April of 2024. “Me and my fiancée was having a wedding,” he announced. “Do I need to set it back?”

“Boosie, I suggest that you remain silent and not say anything on the record,” his attorney Damon Alimouri responded. Two months after getting engaged, Hulk Hogan and Sky Daily have gotten married at an intimate ceremony in Florida. The pair wed in front of a small gathering of family at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Clearwater this past Friday. Daily looked radiant in a sleeveless, strapless dress courtesy of Rue de Seine. Meanwhile, Hogan was dressed to the nines in a sharp tuxedo, though he did add an iconic bandana to the mix.

It’s Hogan’s third marriage and Daily’s second. However, Daily has been very candid about just how special Hogan makes her feel. “I wasn’t allowed to watch a lot of TV growing up. I knew who Hulk Hogan was obviously, but I hadn’t seen any of his fights or watched any wrestling. TMZ obtained images of the happy couple, which you can check out below. TMZ has been the go-to for all things Hulk during his whirlwind engagement. In images obtained by TMZ, Daily and Hogan were spotted entering Latitude 28 in Clearwater, Florida. The photos show Daily spotting a large engagement ring. Clearly, Hogan went on all out on proposal number three. However, his love life isn’t the only thing keeping him in the headlines. Which is rare because, after all, it’s Hulk Hogan.

Turning 70 this year, Hogan has opened up about his long wrestling career. He has been brutally candid about the toll that wrestling took on his body. The superstar claims to be unable to feel his legs. Furthermore, he told Men’s Health that he regrets not retiring earlier due to the physical consequences of a nearly 40-year pro wrestling career. However, Hogan has also hinted that he would like to potentially return to the ring one last time for a true retirement fight. The couple has been together since October 2020 and their pandemic romance has persisted ever since. While they kept things under wraps, Mai let things slip when she posted a TikTok from Tatum’s home during the 2021 offseason. They stepped out in public together for the first time in July 2022 at Michael Rubin’s 4th of July White Party.

However, the couple was in California this past weekend to attend Marcus Smart’s wedding. Smart and Tatum were Celtics teammates for six seasons between 2017 and 2023. However, Smart was traded this offseason as part of the deal that brought Kristaps Porziņģis to Boston. After Smart’s trade, Tatum only had good things to say about his ex-teammate. “He’s gonna love it, and the fans are gonna love him, the city is gonna love him. Sad to see him go, but happy for him to get a new start and excited to see what he does. They’re getting a leader. They’re getting a guy who’s a winner, who’s been to the playoffs every year. Now, for his daughter Hailie Jade’s wedding, it seems like there will be a public reunion of sorts.

Moreover, according to Page Six, the rapper’s ex-wife Kim confirmed to The US Sun that they will both attend the ceremony. In addition, she also gave some insight into what her relationship with Eminem and the rest of her kids is like these days. “Not often, but often enough!” she responded to a question about how much she’s able to see them. Damian Lillard is still a Portland Trail Blazer. Despite requesting a trade to the Miami Heat at the start of July, very little progress has been made in making that trade happen. However, maybe that’s not the worst thing in the world for the city of Portland. Earlier this week, Lillard crashed a wedding in the city, even going as far as to perform for the happy couple.

Jay and Kelly Virdee were surprised by the appearance of Lillard, who was invited by a mutual friend, rapper Dreebo. The LA rapper convinced Lillard to attend, leading to Lillard going into D.O.L.L.A. Dame mode and performing his Dreebo collab “Home Team” for the happy couple. The Virdees, who are reportedly massive fans of Lillard, met six years ago at a Portland winery. Furthermore, Jay even grew up in the same area as Lillard before moving to the PNW for work. Congratulations to the newlyweds.

However, it’s not the only levity that Lillard has been experiencing recently. The seven-time also did a little bit of reference work with Cam’ron in recent weeks. 21 years after the release of Paid In Full, Cam’ron has recreated the iconic takeout scene with the help of Lillard. The Blazers superstar was 12 years old when Paid In Full came out and was still a full decade away from joining the NBA.

As for his trade woes, it doesn’t look like that is going to change anytime soon. While the Blazers aren’t interested in forcing a deal with Miami, it doesn’t look like there is much of a market for Lillard beyond South Beach. “There’s not that many teams that are going to give you a bunch of players and picks for a 33-year-old who can’t stay healthy and has a giant contract sitting there. It was not anything Dame said or Aaron Goodwin said that shut down the market. That stuff didn’t help. But there weren’t teams lined up for him even before that,” an anonymous NBA executive told Forbes.
