Biggie Smalls Nearly Ran Over Concert Promoter With A Bus: Report

Even though Biggie Smalls died 26 years ago, stories of his character and exploits are still the stuff of legend. Moreover, fans now have new testimonies about an alleged incident during which The Notorious B.I.G. apparently almost ran a concert promoter over with his tour bus. However, it’s unclear and unconfirmed whether it was actually Big in the vehicle when it sped off, but all signs point to yes. Furthermore, the news comes from former Rap-A-Lot artist and 5th Ward Juvenilez member Mr. Slimm. He revealed to the Murder Master Music Show some of the antics at a Baton Rouge show involving Biggie, Big Mike, Too $hort, and other performers.

“Biggie was outside, this is the funniest thing I tell people about Big and them,” Slimm began. “Big and them used to burn off on promoters a lot. This is what happened in Baton Rouge one time. Big and them was getting ready to go on stage. I think Short had just finished his set or whatever.

“As we waiting for them to come through the dressing room all of a sudden the promoter run in screaming hysterically, ‘They just tried to run me over!’” he continued. “He said he went and gave them the rest of the money — you know, you get your back end when you show up at the show. And he said when he gave them that and stepped off the bus he heard the brakes release so he goes to stand in front of the bus and they hit that gas. He had to jump out of the way.”

“That happened, I can’t remember how many shows, but it was more than one,” Slimm concluded. “They was just burning off bro to the next city. They were doing it, it’s alotta artists that was doing it back in the day,” he claimed. “It had me wondering if Big was on the bus. But I did see Lil Kim, I seen Junior M.A.F.I.A. so Big had to be on the bus.” Maybe it was all a big misunderstanding, but it adds to the Brooklyn legend’s mystique and larger-than-life perception. Lil Kim Settles Tax Debt

Lil Kim reportedly (and finally) settled her longtime disagreements with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) over tax debt. According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Kimberly Denise Jones agreed to a $1.4 million settlement with the federal tax agency. However, its exact details remain unspecified, as is the date on which she discharged the tax debt in question. Furthermore, some of this discharge dated back all the way to 2003, and this settlement means that the federal government can no longer seize her assets to satisfy the debt. The largest debt she owed was reportedly in 2008, where she had to cough up around $400,000.

While it’s been a long history of arguments and payments for Lil Kim, that didn’t stop her from performing and continuing to inspire others. In fact, as of late, many female rappers shouted her out as an influence, which is unsurprising considering her long reign as one of rap’s queens. For example, Ice Spice recently named “The Jump Off” MC as one of her biggest inspirations along with Nicki Minaj. When it comes to her artistry, that speaks louder than any settlement agreement.

Another female superstar to praise the 48-year-old for paving the way was Megan Thee Stallion. “My mom was a rapper, right?,” the Stallion expressed on RapCaviar Presents. “She was a female rapper, but I had never heard of women being rappers ever because my mom was listening to UGK, Three 6 Mafia. My daddy [listened to] Lil Wayne, like, we only listening to men in the house. But one day, my mom put on Lil Kim. Damn! She raps harder than a lot of these guys!”

Adam Sandler & The Safdie Brothers Tap Megan Thee Stallion For Upcoming Movie: Report

As the fourth anniversary of the Safdie Brothers’ Uncut Gems approaches, film fanatics are raving over an exciting tidbit of gossip from within the industry. After tapping The Weeknd to play himself in their Adam Sandler-led thriller, the creatives may be working with yet another recording artist in their upcoming project – Megan Thee Stallion. According to Deadline, the Houston-born rap diva may be joining the cast, alongside the Grown Ups star, who many are eager to see work with the Safdies once again.

Many of the project’s details remain under wraps at this time, though we do know it’s been produced for Netflix and will take place “in the world of sports memorabilia.” Safdie siblings Josh and Benny wrote the screenplay, which has incredibly high expectations following the sweeping (albeit snubbed) sensation that was Uncut Gems. While Thee Stallion is best known for her tantalizing twerking and braggadocious bars, this rumoured upcoming role certainly won’t be her first venture into acting.

According to some Instagram posts from members of Young Thug’s family, his older sister Angela Grier tragically passed away recently. Moreover, initial reports based themselves on Thug’s sister Dolly White’s Instagram page, where she reposted a picture of Grier previously shared by Lil Keed’s mother. Furthermore, White captioned her picture with multiple heart-broken emojis and a crying face, and also shared some tender clips to her Instagram story. For example, she included a video of people lifting balloons into the air in honor of her. As of writing this article, details concerning her untimely loss are scarce and mostly unknown.

While Grier hasn’t been as frequent in the headlines as some of the YSL rapper’s other family members, she was one of many who continued to support and look out for him throughout his career and especially now during his legal woes. Such news is even harder to stomach considering the “Best Friend” MC is currently behind bars. According to many reports online, Grier had just visited Thugger in jail. While his family said that he’s keeping his head up amid the process, this must be a tough and difficult time for them all.

The one-year anniversary of “Slapgate” is quickly approaching, and Chris Rock is finally speaking out about the incident. In his new Netflix comedy special, the South Carolina native doesn’t hold back while recalling last year’s Oscar Awards, where he was promptly slapped across the face by Will Smith after making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head. The Gemini Man actor faced severe consequences as a result of his violent outburst, though he seems to be making his way back into the public’s good graces as of late.

Rock, however, is receiving mixed reviews for some of the comments made during his new stand-up show. His rant about Meghan Markle calling the Royal Family “racist” has earned the 57-year-old backlash for “punching down on Black women,” not to mention the things he had to say about Pinkett Smith and her husband. “Years ago, his wife said I should quit the Oscars. I shouldn’t host ’cause her man didn’t get nominated for Concussion. And then he gives me a f*cking concussion,” he joked at one point.

Their divorce was finalized three years later, in 2003, at which time Kardashian was spending time with Ray J. While they went through with their wedding, it ended after just 72 days and wasn’t settled until April 2013.

Post Malone Reportedly Blows Off Deposition In $350K Case With Ex-Girlfriend

Post Malone is reportedly dismissing a deposition for a $350K court case involving his split from ex-girlfriend Ashlen Diaz. Both individuals face a lawsuit from Martorell Law, who Diaz hired to arrange palimony from Post (support for non-married split couples) after their 2018 breakup. Moreover, Martorell accused both of reaching a private agreement and cutting the firm from previously promised settlement percentages. Now, the law firm alleged that Malone did not respond to the deposition served in his home of Utah.

According to a Radar Online report on Friday (March 3), Martorell filed a motion for a default judgement against Post of $787,027.60 for failing to answer the court order. Also, they claim that his legal team “refused to accommodate the request and instead threatened to bring malicious prosecution charges … six times despite Martorell noting repeatedly that he heard the threat and respectfully requesting he not repeat it.” Then, his lawyers addressed the situation by maintaining that he did not receive the notice upon delivery and only recently became aware of it.

Now, TMZ caught up with him outside The Cheesecake Factory, where he laughed off the feud when first asked about it. Moreover, he told the publication that “someone misspoke,” referring to Boosie, and that he knows he’s wrong. Furthermore, the Atlanta icon said that they’ll work out those issues between themselves and not in the public eye.

“The way it should’ve been in the first place,” Tip said of the two making amends outside of the media spotlight.
