Although she is no longer with Scott, the two seem to be having a good time co-parenting. That said, there have been new rumors involving Kylie and her man Timothee Chalamet.

There have been breakup rumors between these two, although it seems like they are still together. That said a couple of weeks ago, comedian Daniel Tosh was on his podcast, where he claimed that he knew someone who said Kylie was pregnant. Subsequently, Kylie and her team were quick to dispel this notion. Well, it seems as though the pregnancy rumors are back. According to The Jasmine Brand, she was at her aunt’s funeral recently, where she had on some interesting attire. Instead of a black dress or some sort of suit, she had on a hoodie.

The black baggy sweatsuit has led to some believing that she is pregnant again. After all, why would you want to wear something like this to a funeral? For now, Kylie remains quiet on the topic, but fans still speculate. Given who she is, that speculation will likely never stop.

Why Are Some Movie Fans Calling For A “Dune 2” Boycott?

Denis Villeneuve’s long-awaited Dune sequel finally arrived in theaters this weekend to rave reviews from critics and general audiences alike. Unfortunately, some social media users have taken issue with the film and have called for a full-scale boycott of the sci-fi adventure. The reasoning for the Dune 2 boycott is fairly niche, however, and unlikely to hold a great impact on the film’s profitability. Still, it’s worth examining, as the issue ties-in to a significant global conflict which has already cost many actors their jobs. Here’s a look into why some fans are demanding a Dune 2 boycott.

The Boycott Centers On A November 2023 SNL Sketch

Dune 2 lead Timothée Chalamet hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live back in November, which saw him taking on a number of roles in comedy sketches throughout the evening. One pre-recorded sketch, headed by one of SNL‘s in-house comedy troupes Please Don’t Destroy, centered on Chalamet’s character planning to leap from a ledge to his death. The trio behind Please Don’t Destroy, portraying fictionalized versions of themselves, see Chalamet as he prepares to leap and attempt to stop him from doing so, asking him if there’s anything in his life worth living for. The punchline of the sketch is that Chalamet’s character is an aspiring musician, though his music, which he proceeds to play over a Bluetooth speaker as he teeters on the edge of a ledge, is all terrible.

While most of the punchlines in the sketch come and go with little controversy, one joke which references the Palestinian political group Hamas has received negative press from users on social media platforms such as TikTok and Reddit. The joke in question sees Chalamet asking onlookers to share his music on Instagram, and explaining that his band is named Hamas (pronounced hay-mis, but spelled H-A-M-A-S) prompting one member of Please Don’t Destroy to shout, “Yeah dude I’m not sharing a song by Hamas on Instagram!”

While a Dune 2 boycott doesn’t seem to have much of a foothold in general pop culture, many niche groups which support Palestine in the ongoing conflict at the Gaza Strip consider this joke to be tasteless. Others have used the joke as a jumping-off point to criticize the film itself, as well as the novel series on which it is based. Dune defenders have responded to these TikTokers in droves, explaining that the story of Dune carries political themes that wholeheartedly support Palestinian sovereignty.

Furthermore, Dune 2 filmmaker Denis Villeneuve has specifically made pro-Palestine comments in the past and has even expressed interest in helming a film highlighting the plight of the Palestinian people. Other key actors in the film such as Zendaya and Javier Bardem have also taken public stances in support of Palestine, prompting many fans of the film to defend Dune 2 against the calls to boycott.

‘Wonka’ Starring Timothee Chalamet Still Sweet at the Box Office Crossing $600M

As reported by Variety, Wonka is hitting all the sweet spots at the worldwide box office, having just crossed $600 million. That’s a lot of chocolate bars. The Timothée Chalamet fantasy musical is a remake of the 1971 classic film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory starring Gene Wilder.

So, with about ten weeks in theaters worldwide, Wonka has generated $210 million in North America and $395.1 million internationally for a total of $604.9 million. This is a big deal for obvious reasons, but more notably, since only seven films came out in 2023 broke the $600 million milestone.

Warner Bros. backed the film with a modest $125 million budget. Wonka is from director Paul King, who is his highest-grossing film and has earned more than his 2014 hit Paddington and the sequel from 2017. Wonka is also Chalamet’s biggest international film performance-wise, but watch out when Dune: Part Two releases in March.

If you didn’t know, Wonka is a family film co-stars Olivia Colman, Keegan-Michael Key, and Hugh Grant, who plays an iconic Oompa-Loompa. According to Variety, the story “centers on the early days of Willy Wonka and takes place long before a poor boy named Charlie Bucket wins a golden ticket to tour the world-famous and heavily guarded chocolate factory.”

“This achievement is a testament the creative brilliance of Paul King, [producer] David Heyman, Timothée Chalamet and the dedicated cast and crew,” in an official statement from Mike De Luca and Pamela Abdy, co-chairs & CEOs of Warner Bros. Over the weekend the Golden Globes took place marking the beginning of a run of high-profile award shows over the next few months. The new viral video of Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift chatting doesn’t even feature any discernable audio. But keen-eyed fans trying to lip-read and gauge facial reactions think they’ve figured it out. The most common speculation is that Gomez is telling them a story about trying to get a picture with Chalamet and being denied by Jenner. That rumor spread online for days causing a spat of rumors about potential beef between the two that either already existed or was sparked from that encounter.

In the wake of the beef rumors, TMZ caught up with Timothee Chalamet. While he’s at first resistant to answering any questions about the whole thing, eventually he caves. In the video they recorded he does eventually deny that there are any hard feelings between Gomez and Jenner, though he seems reluctant to give any comment. Timothée Chalamet Reprised His Soundcloud Rapper Character SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta In A ‘Hip-Hop 50’-Themed ‘SNL’ Sketch

In his second time hosting Saturday Night Live, Timothée Chalamet brought back an old favorite. Reprising his Soundcloud rapper role, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta, Chalamet spoke on a special panel honoring the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

During the sketch, a moderator named Nunya Business, played by Ego Nwodim, hosts a group of hip-hop experts at the Museum Of Hip-Hop. On the panel are Mary J. Blige (Punkie Johnson), Dr. Cornel West (Kenan Thompason), Rick Rubin (James Austin Johnson), and SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta.

Evidently, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta has broken the streaming record, which, according to Nunya, makes him “the most successful hip-hop artist of all time.”

While on the panel, Johnson’s Blige posits that hip-hop has thrived for more than 50 years, given the pure emotion in the music. Meanwhile, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta is confused, as he initially thought hip-hop was discovered in 2014. However, he simply sums up his reasoning for Hip-Hop’s longevity, saying, “the opps gonna slide, but DMs be popping regardless.”

Elsewhere in the panel, SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta opens up about his struggles, hilariously noting “My dad made me get braces when I wanted Invisalign.” He also mentioned his sidekick in the rap game, Guaplord, who, in SmokeChedda’s first sketch, was played by Pete Davidson.

“He gotta lay low in Turkey for a minute,” SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta said.

Timothée Chalamet Celebrated The End Of The SAG-AFTRA Strike With ‘Shameless Self-Promotion’ On ‘SNL’

In the first Saturday Night Live episode since the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, this week’s host, Timothée Chalamet wasted no time. Tonight (November 11), the actor hosted the show for the second time.

The first time Chalamet hosted was back in 2020, amid the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While both of his hosting gigs thus far took place at weird times, Chalamet fully embraced the newfound freedom to talk about his work. During tonight’s episode, Chalamet was excited to promote his upcoming projects, Wonka and Dune: Part II.

He broke out into song, singing to the tune of “Pure Imagination” from the original Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.

“Come with me / and you’ll be / in a world of shameless self-promotion / It’s okay / That my new film Wonka is out in theaters December 15,” Chalamet sang.

He was then interrupted by SNL actor Marcello Hernandez, with whom, Chalamet established that they both have baby faces. The two then broke out into a hilarious rap about the reality of living with baby faces.

They were joined by fellow SNL actors Punkie Johnson and Kenan Thompson, the latter of whom jokingly claimed to be 63 years old, but maintained a youthful appearance due to his baby face.
