Back in February, Rihanna lit a firestorm online when she announced her second pregnancy during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime show. Since then, a lot of people have looked for every possible hint for any possible updates on the baby, much like her first pregnancy. After all, she and her boo A$AP Rocky didn’t even reveal their son’s name until around his first birthday, so they’ve kept things quite private. On that note, we haven’t gotten many updates apart from wholesome social media posts and occasional outings where RiRi shows off her bump. However, according to a recent report from Media TakeOut, it seems like the bump she showed off onstage is no longer there.

Moreover, the outlet reported that Rihanna gave birth to her second kid- this time, a baby girl. Of course, this is just one vague report on social media, so take it with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation from other sources, preferably the parents themselves. Still, it’s pretty exciting news, and surely a heap of congratulations and well-wishes are flooding the Barbadian superstar’s mentions right now. YK Osiris Stole $20K Audemars Piguet Watch, Celeb Jeweller Claims

Once again, 24-year-old YK Osiris has found himself at the centre of controversy. This time, he’s facing accusations of skipping out on the bill for a $20K Audemars Piguet watch. He allegedly agreed to purchase from celebrity jeweller Seth Grossman back in 2020. At the time, the two came into contact via Sean Kingston, who Grossman has a long-standing working relationship with. They met up prior to the COVID-19 shutdowns, and Osiris convinced his new pal to sell the luxury watch he was wearing at the time.

In the video below, obtained from TMZ, the Florida native tries on the piece, and happily flaunts it for the camera after Kingston finishes showing off what he’s working with. Grossman tells the outlet that he wasn’t familiar with Osiris’ music at the time but confirmed the young creative’s status by checking his YouTube page. Arrangements were made during their initial meet-up for YK’s accountant to wire the $20K, but over three years later, the jeweller says he hasn’t been paid a single dime for his Piguet.

Grossman adds that the “Worth It” hitmaker has given him plenty of excuses, and even changed his phone number multiple times. On top of that, Osiris allegedly threw Kingston under the bus in the process of evading the payment, claiming that he returned the watch to the “Fire Burning” artist. Elsewhere, the former Def Jam star said that his father stole all of his jewellery as a payment for managing Osiris. Seth is still contemplating taking legal action, especially after seeing the alleged thief flexing his new gold grill earlier this summer.

It’s been a strange few months for YK Osiris regarding headlines. First, we saw his near-cancellation after kissing Sukihana without her consent at an event, and amid the fallout from that, the R&B star let his emotions fly freely while promoting his “Dear Fans” single. Things have been relatively quiet on Osiris’ front since that hit DSPs, but now he’s obviously being painted in an unflattering light again. According to @ThePopTingz on Twitter, the 31-year-old is seeking inspiration from one of the greats during her latest studio sessions – Rihanna. Specifically, the Barbadian singer’s 2007 hit album, Good Girl Gone Bad, which boasts titles like “Hate That I Love You” with Ne-Yo, “Rehab,” and “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z. The outlet’s source claims that Gomez is working on something “modern with more dance and EDM influence.”

YNW Melly Jury: One Woman’s Hesitation To Convict Reportedly Lead To Mistrial

After watching endless chaos unfold during YNW Melly’s double murder trial earlier this summer, the Florida native was surprisingly granted a mistrial. His attorneys attempted to motion for one earlier on in proceedings and were ultimately denied. However, the jury’s failure to come to a consensus led the presiding judge to rule in Melly’s favour. Of course, this doesn’t mean he’s walking free. Rather, prosecutors will be re-trying the case again in the fall. An October court date was already set at the end of July.

Many who have been keeping up with the trial are curious as to know exactly what happened with the jury behind closed doors. Thankfully, Local 10 News finally has some answers. According to them, the majority of members were on board with convicting Melly. However, one woman in particular held her ground on defending the accused killer. “From day one, she had issues with the foreperson selected, at one point crossing her arms and saying she was ‘Done!’” another juror recalled to the outlet.

“When another juror asked to not shut down and set her feelings aside, she exploded… She was explosive, manipulative, she was rude, she yelled insults at anyone who had a different opinion,” they further noted. Elsewhere, the anonymous source claimed the same woman was there specifically “to cause chaos.” The next group of jurors selected to hold Melly’s fate in their hands will obviously be different, though it’s possible we could see the same final outcome take place later this year.

Throughout the first YNW Melly trial, his mother, Jamie King, made frequent headlines for her comments on social media. In the midst of proceedings, she claimed that the stress she’s experienced while watching her son potentially face the death penalty gave her a heart attack. Travis Scott’s Attorney Claims Astroworld Report Was Issued To Hurt “UTOPIA” Sales

Travis Scott’s new album UTOPIA is finally here, and it’s already seeing a lot of incredible success. Moreover, it’s the fifth biggest opening streaming day for an album in Spotify’s history. Obviously, it’s the biggest one so far in 2023. With over 128 million first-day streams, the album joins the ranks of Drake’s Certified Lover Boy and Scorpion, Taylor Swift’s Midnights, and Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti as the platform’s largest album streaming debuts, standing behind all of those. In addition, this is double what his last album ASTROWORLD garnered day one on Spotify. Every song on UTOPIA landed in the top 19 of Spotify’s U.S. chart.

However, allegations emerged that the final police report on the 2021 Astroworld Festival tragedy came out on the same day as UTOPIA in order to hurt these sales. Furthermore, these came from Travis Scott’s attorney Kent Schafer, who remarked to TMZ that this is no mere coincidence. For example, he explained that the rollout led specifically to this date, and that they informed people of such Also, he denied claims that the Houston artist was responsible for, or aware of, deaths and injuries at the concert. After this news broke, representatives for the “DELRESTO” MC issued a statement to the publication responding to these conclusions.

Lil Durk Reportedly Cancels Multiple “Sorry For The Drought” Tour Dates

Lil Durk fans might have some bad news on their hands, as the rapper reportedly canceled multiple dates for his upcoming “Sorry For The Drought” tour. Moreover, if you go to Ticketmaster as of writing this article, you will see that many of the scheduled shows apparently got axed. However, it’s unclear whether this move is purely temporary, if there will be rescheduled dates, or if this is a complete cut. Either way, it’s an incredibly unfortunate development during what must be a trying time for the Chicago native. Recently, he revealed that he went to the hospital, but in recovery, for dehydration and exhaustion.

Tory Lanez Reportedly Wants To Serve Sentence In State Prison

While he awaits sentencing, which is set for August 6, new reports indicate that Tory Lanez is having a pretty miserable time in jail. Moreover, these new claims come from attorney Ronda Renee Dixon, who motioned to take over as his legal counsel on Wednesday (July 12). However, the court denied her motion, although her statement still made its way to the news cycle and raised concerns over the artist’s state of mind and body while behind bars. Apparently, Lanez feels “despondent” in jail, exacerbated by the fact that authorities hold him in isolation. Dixon believes that he faced harsh and rare conditions during his time so far, and that it will continue if the court ignores his requests for a state prison transfer.

“His eyes were black,” Dixon told Legal Affairs and Trials with Meghann Cuniff of Tory Lanez’s mentality and physique. “He was totally despondent. He told me he wanted to go to state prison. I said, ‘You want to go to state prison? Why?’ He said, ‘At least I’ll be able to go out in the yard and talk to people.’ That upset me. I don’t think he’s guilty.

“Merely because he is well known, the Sheriff has decided that Mr. Peterson is of such great threat that he must be confined in the same manner as those convicted of serial rape charges and murder,” her motion read. For those unaware, the court found Tory Lanez guilty for charges related to shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July of 2020. These are one count of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying an unregistered and loaded firearm in a vehicle, and firing said gun with gross negligence. Despite his team’s efforts, authorities denied his motion for a new trial and other attempts to reverse the ruling.

Meanwhile, the Canadian rapper and singer faces a maximum of 22 years behind bars according to reports and a minimum of nine years. What’s more is that the apparently on-again pair enjoyed a lot of time together recently, adding to rumors of their reconciliation. Young Thug Uncomfortable With Overwhelming Police Presence At YSL RICO Trial: Report

Even though he’s been locked up for over a year now, Young Thug is doing his best to remain positive. Unfortunately, things have been incredibly slow-moving for several reasons. Among them are the difficulty of finding a jury and antics carried out by defendants and their lawyers. At this point, the So Much Fun rapper has been denied bond four times. On top of that, whenever he’s brought into court, what he and his attorneys consider extreme measures are being taken.

As AllHipHop reports, the embattled artist wears a leg brace every day. His legal team argues this is contributing to the impression that Thug is dangerous. In addition, they’re uncomfortable with the “fortress-like atmosphere” in the courtroom. It’s apparently partially created by the overbearing presence of police. This, along with the guards wearing tactical gear, carrying heavy guns and ammunition could potentially influence the jury pool’s perception of the “Day Before” artist.

Family members and fans have been prevented from supporting Thugger in his courtroom as well. Instead, they’ve been given a “viewing” room to watch the trial unfold from. Defense attorneys feel that this “creates a prejudice” against the 31-year-old. The court has previously overruled objections of a similar manner about the rap superstar’s potential for a fair trial. According to them, the security on site is up to the discretion of the Sheriff.

Things may not be going exactly as planned in court, but at least Young Thug has the success of his BUSINESS IS BUSINESS album to celebrate. He didn’t manage to secure the first No. 1 of the year for hip-hop, but the Atlanta native did put out an impressive effort from behind bars.
