Nelly & Ashanti To Star In Their Own Reality Show Ahead Of Welcoming 1st Child Together

Nelly and Ashanti will reportedly be starring in their own reality series, according to a new report from The Jasmine Brand. The outlet exclusively reports that the two will begin pre-production “soon” with filming to take place in Nelly’s hometown of St. Louis. The move comes after Ashanti announced the two are expecting their first child together, earlier this year.

When the news of their reality show made its way to Instagram, fans of the couple had mixed responses. “PLEASE DON’T DO IT! It’s a setup for ruin and we’re rooting for yall!!!!,” one user wrote. Another more supportive fan remarked: “Nelly isn’t new to reality tv! It’s not going to a messy show so, I’m sure they know what’s best for them! Congratulations I’ll be tuned in.”

Nelly and Ashanti first dated back in the early 2000s but split up in 2014. After spending nearly a decade apart, they finally reconciled last year and now are getting married. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, last month, Ashanti revealed that Nelly proposed while they were in bed watching TV. “I cried, I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever,” she recalled, “I FaceTimed everyone I know… I was overjoyed and shocked and surprised and happy kind of like all in one.” As for how the relationship is different this time around, she added: “I think just we both are so passionate about working and about building family. We are so, so aligned.”

Tiffany Haddish says she’s rooting for Common and Jennifer Hudson to get married after the iconic rapper confirmed his future plans with Hudson during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. After suggesting he’d marry her, Common also discussed a key difference between his current and past relationships. Haddish and Common dated between 2020 and 2021.

“If I’m gonna get married, it’s to her. Simple as that,” Common said of the future of their relationship. He added: “This is definitely — with all due respect to all the women I’ve dated ’cause it’s all love — but this is a really healthy and beautiful relationship.” He also spoke about how they’ve bonded over both being from Chicago. “Having a lady from Chicago, that has allowed me to home and just be home. I hadn’t done that in a while where I was just going home and being around my loved ones and having no work to do,” he said. “That helped me with this album [The Auditorium Vol. 1 with Pete Rock] because going to your roots, you gotta always recharge and plug in to them roots. She made it clear that she still cares about the man and just wants him to understand that his methods of lashing out are not okay. This subsequently led to rumors that the two were staying together. However, Bhad Bhabie made sure to shut those down immediately.

As it turns out, it appears as though she and the father of her child are still together. In the Instagram clip below, reposted by DJ Akademiks, you can see Bhad Bhabie making out with Le Vaughn. There was no text or tag on the clip. Instead, it lasts for about three seconds before moving on. Of course, this has led to speculation that the two have reconciled. Yes, it may be the obvious choice, but that is all they do is stir up debate and hate. It stems from the Georgia rapper’s explosive personality and Censori’s willingness to go along with it. While Ye would disagree with that, plenty of other people on the internet are looking through the same lens. The outfit selections, particularly on the part of the 29-year-old Australian architect, are the ones always turning heads and churning stomachs. In fact, her barely-there metallic silver bikini at a local L.A. barbeque joint was in the headlines just a couple of days ago.

Surprisingly, Bludso’s BBQ was okay with the attire, and following their lunch stop, Kanye and Bianca went to the theaters to see A Quiet Place: Day One. Well, after yet another “WTF” outfit, multiple unnamed restaurateurs are putting their feet down. They are claiming they will dismiss them if they attempt to enter their establishments, according to the Daily Mail. “‘I wouldn’t have them in my restaurant. Totally inappropriate and not a good role model for young children to see this out and about. What is wrong with them?’”, one supposed owner said online.

Ashanti & Nelly Host Yet Another Baby Shower With Friends & Family And Fans Can’t Get Enough

Moreover, they hosted yet another baby shower with friends and family, and it seemed like a luxurious, calm, and heartening affair with gorgeous maternity pictures on display and many beautiful amenities, including a three-layer jungle-themed cake for Baby Haynes. It’s all very wholesome and such, and apparently took place at Huntington, New York’s Oheka Castle event venue. Considering that they celebrated this pregnancy and soon-to-come birth multiple times now, we wouldn’t express shock if there’s another shower next week.

Jokes aside, at Ashanti and Nelly’s last baby shower, her father recalled how the rapper asked for his blessing to ask for her hand in marriage. “We had a discussion about him wanting to marry her,” Ken-Kaide Thomas Douglas stated. “We had a little brief conversation. According to the singer, their constant arguments and bickering resulted in them not talking to each other for days at a time, which became cyclical and tiring.
