Earlier this week, Kelly Rowland was thrust into headlines when cameras captured an interesting interaction between her and security personnel on the red carpet at Cannes. In the clip multiple ushers from the event seem to rush her away from the spot she was posing for photos and up some stairs along the carpet. That sparked an argument between Rowland and some of the ushers prompting even more to come over to her. They even appear to try and block her from speaking to someone she recognizes and force her along the carpet.
The video sparked outrage online as it looked like Rowland was being mistreated by the security at the film festival. In a new interview she spoke on the incident and didn’t hold much back. “The woman knows what happened. I know what happened. And, I have a boundary. I stand by those boundaries. And that is it. There were other women that attended that carpet who did not quite look like me and they didn’t get scolded, or pushed off, or told to get off. The venues of award shows have seen plenty of celebrity catfights over the years, but at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday (April 1) evening, we were impressed with how two rap divas in particular handled themselves. While sauntering down the red (well, yellow) carpet yesterday afternoon, both Latto and Ice Spicelooked stunning. The former showed off her thigh thighs in a pretty, deep red mini dress. Meanwhile, the redhead went with another all-black look, this time switching out her usually long, straight hair for some subtle waves.
In a video that’s making rounds on various blogs, we can see that the “Deli” and “Big Energy” hitmakers were in the same area at the same time, though it’s unclear if they actually saw each other. As Spice stops to pose for photos, a crowd can be heard screaming in excitement from beyond the barrier. As she turns to walk away, Latto comes into view, taking some snapshots before heading inside to mingle with other creatives.
Reactions to that on social media have been mixed so far, with some suggesting that Lil Mama would’ve been a better contender after channelling LeftEye in the 2013 Crazy Sexy Cool biopic. Held during the 2024 GRAMMY Week, the event’s intention was to honor the next generation of leading creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music. In a blend of music, art, and innovation the GRAMMY House in downtown Los Angeles turned into a beacon of excitement. Drawing people from all over to enjoy the event. In addition, the venue was set in the Arts District at Rolling Greens.
With its expansive warehouse and outdoor garden spaces, provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration of music’s future. The venue’s artistic details and aesthetics were complemented by the extensive GRAMMY House exhibitions. Featuring a centerpiece showcasing the Latin GRAMMYs’ landmark moments. #GRAMMYsNextGen transcended conventional party experiences, offering unique guest activations that set the event apart. Moreover, Mastercard’s ultra-chic secret garden bar space, complete with sustainable and recycled materials, created an environment that was both sophisticated and eco-friendly. Moreover, elsewhere in the event, guests were treated to a Dyson showroom featuring a hair styling salon. Attendees could receive free touch-ups for their hair.

Travis Scott asked himself his own questions while walking the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, last week. When one reporter approached him carrying flashcards, Scott took the cards and began asking himself the questions.
“‘You wanted to turn UTOPIA into a musical — is there a plan for a Broadway show yet?’ Fuck yeah, it is,” he said. “‘You said you wanted to study architecture at Harvard — which city’s architecture inspires you the most?’ Not gonna lie, Tokyo is kind of fire … Rome is fire …Pompeii is actually amazing … Chile is actually cr*zy […] Brazil is actually fucking beautiful.”

Scott previously revealed that he wanted to take Utopia to Broadway during a recent interview with GQ. He explained: “I wanted the album to be a play. I was trying to take Broadway — because the thing about Broadway theaters, they’re kind of small — I was trying to bring the idea of Broadway to bigger venues. Either plays in stadiums or plays in arenas, but still make it feel like a Broadway bill.” He added: “I love Jeremy O. Harris. He’s amazing. We were exploring all these different ideas. I met with him. I met with a couple of different people. We just talked about the idea of it happening. I was still trying to figure it out,” he said.
