Sexyy Red Was So Unserious While Answering The Miami Heat’s Questions Courtside

Sexyy Red is getting her bag by any means necessary -– and she’s not doing anything to change herself or act disingenuously for the cameras. Moreover, a recent interview with the Miami Heat’s media team contained some pretty unserious answers courtside, in the way that she became known for quite quickly. “Do you love the Miami Heat?” the interviewer asked. “Skee yee!” the 25-year-old answered. “What is your favorite thing about Miami” was the next question: “Skee yee,” her daughter answered. “Do you have a favorite player on the Miami Heat?” The only player that matters in the Hood Hottest Princess‘ universe: “Get it, Sexyy!

As if that wasn’t enough, she also remarked that her favorite Miami Heat jersey is the Sexyy Red jersey. While maybe the NBA basketball team sought actual answers, they and their media team likely knew that this yields more in the long run. After all, whether staged or not, it’s an engagement point for hoop heads mad at the lack of answers or fans of Sexyy Red’s music who might have the exact same responses as her. Speaking of those fans, a lot of them are excited for an upcoming collab with Saucy Santana, which might arrive just in time for the summer.

In fact, the St. Louis native has a couple of collabs on the docket that are really energizing the fandom, and opening the way for an even bigger 2024 for her. For example, there’s her teased remix with Nicki Minaj that, while still not 100% confirmed, is everything that the Barbz and her fans want right now. While last year will prove steep competition as far as engagement, promotion, and visibility, Sexyy Red also has so much more at her disposal than what she had back then. As such, everyone’s still excited to see her continue to grow.

Metro Boomin Denies Drake Beef

To close out 2023, it looks like we finally have somewhat of a resolution to one of the year’s most rumored, subliminal, and surprising beefs. Moreover, you’ve definitely heard by now that Metro Boomin and Drake, according to many fans, threw shots at each other in recent times. This stemmed from the former complaining that the latter’s Her Loss won in rap album categories in award shows and rankings over Metro’s HEROES & VILLAINS. Then, the 6ix God seemed to respond in a Stake stream, and more cryptic social media activity had fans crafting theories and connecting presumed dots. But according to the St. Louis native, people took this way too far.

Furthermore, he recently spent some time answering fan questions on Twitter, as he’s usually very active on the platform. Specifically, Metro Boomin chose to indulge one listener’s inquiry about the supposed Drake beef and put an end to the rumors. “Are u and Drake seriously beefing or is it not that deep,” the user asked him. “Not deep at all lmao,” the 30-year-old replied. While he said it’s not deep, he technically didn’t say it was nonexistent, so fans will surely keep making assumptions despite this shutdown. Regardless, the “Metro Spider” beatsmith has bigger things on his mind right now, like officially claiming the most streamed rap album in 2023.

Metro Boomin Clarifies Drake Situation

Of course, the two have collaborated often in the past– in fact, Metro Boomin even has a beat on Her Loss. As such, maybe one more collaborative effort will squash this once and for all, or once the Grammys roll around and they have to congratulate each other or sympathize with each other’s losses to either Travis Scott, Killer Mike, or Nas. Only time will tell, but we might get an answer soon. The Boominati boss recently teased new music with Paul Wall, so he’ll probably have plenty of chances in 2024 to throw Drake on a song or to have him hop on one of his beats.

Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on his collab album with Future, which the beatmaker said he’ll finish soon. With so much potential there, we’ll be as patient as necessary. Who knows, maybe this is where the What A Time To Be Alive chemistry will quell these beef suppositions. With that in mind, log back into HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Metro Boomin and Drake.

NBA YoungBoy Blasts Reporter For J. Cole Collab Question During Interview

NBA YoungBoy is notorious for being in his fair share of rap beefs, whether they’re more serious or just from MC to MC. Moreover, one of his most recent exploits was with J. Cole, as they had a bit of a back and forth with alleged subliminal disses and straight-up callouts from his end. However, it seemed like things would quiet down a little on that front after a recent interview YB did with “Lizzie Pure,” also known as Lizabeth Korn. In it, she asked him about Cole’s line on his Drake collab “First Person Shooter” about still wanting to do a song with him.

Furthermore, YoungBoy said that if the Dreamville MC makes his way up to Gravedigger Mountain in Utah, he’s down. Now, though, it seems like there was a misunderstanding, because his Instagram account left a couple of comments (since deleted) on Lizzie’s IG post about her talk with him. In it, the Baton Rouge rapper suggests that he didn’t approve of certain clips coming out and called her a “clout chaser.” It’s a bit unclear what he’s specifically mad about and who he’s talking about in one of the comments, but that’s what we can devise from this.

YoungBoy Goes Off On Interviewer: Read

“Go report this h*e page,” YoungBoy expressed in Lizzie Pure’s comments section. “this b***h unprofessional and clout chasing. You a dog a** b***h ain’t nobody approved none of this you doing. You tried that bulls**t a** clip with [J. Cole] saying he’ll be able to remove anything if he wanted it out then released it. ‘Dead b***h walking.’” Again, who the “he” is in this comment could be the 24-year-old, Cole, or someone else. Just goes to show that he can’t escape beef often.

Meanwhile, the Richest Opp hitmaker recently broke up the negativity with some holiday cheer. He recently dressed up as Santa Claus and took the kids sledding in Utah, which was odd but wholesome to see. Hopefully more moments like this prop up rather than more media feuds. For more news and the latest updates on NBA YoungBoy, come back to HNHH.

Drake Shares A Late Night Question From His Private Jet

Drake has a lot on his mind these days, as shown by his recent string of Instagram posts. Following each night of the It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage, Drizzy typically hits the ‘Gram with highlights from the evening, accompanied by some quotable captions. For the most part, the captions seem to be either lyrics from his upcoming album, For All The Dogs, or potential throwaways from his poetry book, Titles Ruin Everything. Either way, he elicited reactions from his fans, some who resonate deeply with the handful of quotables he unleashed on the ‘Gram.

Most recently, the Toronto-based rapper hit the ‘Gram to flex from his cozy flight on Air Drake. Posted up with a laptop and a phone case that reads, “This Is A Money Phone,” the rapper provided fans with a small glimpse into his private jet. However, he posed an interesting question for his fans that really sounds like it should’ve been in his book. “How are you thirsty AND want a meal ticket?” the caption reads.

Since 2021, Drake’s already dished out three albums including Certified Lover Boy, Honestly, Nevermind, and Her Loss with 21 Savage. However, throughout his recent tour, the “Rich Flex” star has continued to provide fans with updates on the project. About a week and a half ago, the rapper hinted that the project would drop this week. He hasn’t provided a concrete date yet but it wouldn’t be shocking if For All The Dogs hits DSPs this Friday.

Since the beginning of the year, Drake’s provided fans with a handful of records that provide us with a bit of insight into his next artistic venture. Considering that Her Loss concluded the trilogy that he began with CLB, songs like “Search & Rescue” and the yet-to-be-released “At The Gates” ft. Lil Uzi Vert supposedly indicate his next artistic evolution. Most recently, he teamed up with Central Cee for their “On The Radar Freestyle.” It’s unclear if the two have more music in the works but Drake certainly has fans anticipating his next project.

MF DOOM’s Wife Left With Medical Questions After Rapper’s Unexpected 2020 Death

The three-year anniversary of British-American artist MF DOOM’s death is coming this fall. Thankfully, hip-hop refuses to let his legacy die. Stars like The Weeknd, continue to pay homage to Daniel Dumile in their own performances. Elsewhere, his widow, Jasmin, is doing what she can to seek answers for her husband’s untimely passing. According to Leeds Live, DOOM had been prescribed a new medication to treat his kidney disease and other health concerns. This ultimately led the rapper to struggle with weight gain and anxiety.

Jasmin says that after only two doses, the “Rhymes Like Dimes” artist developed breathing problems that brought him to the local A&E department. At the time, his tongue and throat began to swell. This seems to have tragically played a factor in DOOM’s death. Jasmin has concerns about the treatment her husband received at St. James Hospital, including his “buzzer” being out of reach. Due to this, Dumile was apparently unable to alert medical staff about his deteriorating condition. Instead, he had to phone Jasmin in distress as his swelling became worse.

When speaking to the Wakefield Coroner’s Court, DOOM’s widow mentioned that his room at the hospital looked as though it may have previously been used for storage. She was unable to see him throughout most of his illness due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Jasmin still did what she could to help from home. “I was not able to see him until the 31st (of October) – that’s when the respirator was turned off that was helping him breathe,” she emotionally admitted.

Little more than a week before, Dumile had reportedly complained about an inability to breathe. He attempted to get off his bed but ultimately collapsed and suffered a respiratory arrest. In light of the prolific artist’s death, the hospital trust carried out a “serious incident investigation” to pinpoint what lessons could be learned. Since posthumous appearances from MF DOOM are understandably rare, we’ve compiled a list of other rappers with a similar vibe for you to enjoy. Tony Yayo Blasts DJ Vlad For Question About 50 Cent & Ja Rule Beef

When it comes to rap beef, don’t ask Tony Yayo about Terror Squad versus G-Unit. Moreover, DJ Vlad learned that lesson the hard way during a recent interview with him, albeit one of many they’ve done together. As such, to hear the New York rapper bas Vlad so quickly is surprising yet understandable considering how they know how these things go. Furthermore, Yayo stopped the media personality after he asked about the beef between 50 Cent and Ja Rule. He was speaking on E-40’s ejection from a Kings-Warriors game and noting that 50 was also at that game and went on about his numerous deals with NBA Teams.

That’s when DJ Vlad tried to bring that discussion around to the Ja Rule beef. “If Ja Rule came forward and publicly said listen I wanna apologize to 50 Cent and G-Unit X, Y and Z, I was young, you know what I mean? We were all wild–” Vlad asked before Tony Yayo interrupted him. “Vlad, I’m just gonna take it back to the first shut the f**k up,” he clapped back. “Shut the f**k up with that s**t Vlad.”

Tony Yayo Checks DJ Vlad

For those unaware, Fif and Ja go way back in their beef, which exploded in the mid-2000s when the latter worked with Terror Squad. In fact, Tony Yayo called it the “realest beef” that G-Unit ever acted on. “Yo, the realest beef was with Terror Squad,” he expressed in a previously posted Instagram video. “He was a real n***a, I gotta give it up. The realest beef was with Fat Joe and them. We outside.” Said beef continues to this day, with them recently arguing over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

However, Ja Rule doesn’t really see it as a problem, as he recounted in an interview with The Shade Room. “If 50 Cent was to walk in here right now, what do you think would happen?” he asked the interviewer. After they said “Well, nothing, obviously,” the rapper replied with “Exactly! That’s what I’m saying. We don’t have an issue. We don’t have a problem. Like, c’mon dog. I’m very relevant out here. I don’t have nothing to prove to anybody. I just, you know, I just want people to understand my side. My side of it is, I really don’t give a f**k.” For the latest news and updates on this beef and Tony Yayo, stick around on HNHH.

Lil Durk Answers Questions About YoungBoy (Kind Of), Shouts Out Morgan Wallen

Before his new album Almost Healed drops next week, it seems like Lil Durk has some beef to clear within the industry. Moreover, reports stemming from DJ Akademiks and Durk’s own Twitter account suggested that the Chicago MC squashed his beef with NBA YoungBoy. Furthermore, it hasn’t been strictly confirmed by either artist, but all signs point to “yes” on social media. However, that doesn’t mean that Durkio is going to spill all the beans on their alleged reconciliation. While getting briefly interviewed by a reporter on the street, he sort of answered a question about their beef without saying much at all.

What beef?” Lil Durk replied incredulously to a woman’s question about YoungBoy. “Who? Shout out Morgan Wallen.” Then, the “Broadway Girls” artist got into his car without another word, leaving the reported (and fans) mostly in the dark. Still, it’s understandable that he wouldn’t want to keep fanning the flames of gossip, especially surrounding a feud. Maybe he simply wants his next album to speak for itself, and might open up in the future in a less impromptu scenario.

Lil Durk Shouts Out Morgan Wallen Instead Of Detailing YoungBoy Situation

Meanwhile, Lil Durk certainly has other collaborations to look forward to that have his die-hards and detractors alike quite excited. Not only that, but it should make for some incredible chemistry with one of the genre’s top dogs, who many might wrongfully assume wouldn’t go with Durk’s style. Him and J. Cole have been hard at work on a collaboration and accompanying music video. In fact, it was fans’ 100K comments on a post promoting it that led the 30-year-old to share Almost Healed‘s release date and cover art.

Regardless of any beef or de-escalation, these are two very different artists with their own careers to take care of. While a collab between then is unlikely, it would actually make for a pretty interesting combination of styles, fanbases, and appeals. What’s more is that YoungBoy just dropped an album this year as well, Don’t Try This At Home, which is actually his second of the year. No matter what’s going on between them, they are still two of the most hyped names to watch in the genre right now. If you’re looking for more news and the latest updates on YoungBoy and Lil Durk, check back in with HNHH.

Jack Harlow Still Has Several ‘Questions’ As He Is Coping With Stardom

Less than 48 hours after announcing his third studio album, Jackman, Jack Harlow has dropped the album, which features another promising set of bangers. While his previous two albums boasted viral hits and chart-toppers, making Harlow a household name in both the real of hip-hop and pop, Jackman features Harlow at his most introspective and self-aware.

The album’s closing track, “Questions,” features Harlow reflecting on his rise to stardom, and dealing with the responsibilities that come with fame. He also attempts to disabuse himself of internalized misogyny and challenges his fanbase to do the same.

“Why I treat my brother like he ain’t my only brother? / Why I gotta treat my manager like I’m above her? / Why I gotta get so intimate with my lovers? / Why I gotta cheat and make her question if I love her? / Why am I so fly? why am I so skeptical?,” he asks on the song’s opening verse.

It’s gearing up to be a busy season for Harlow. While this album is likely to have the summer on lock, Harlow is also dipping his toes in the waters of acting. Next month, he will star in his acting debut alongside Sinqua Walls in a remake of White Men Can’t Jump.

You can check out the video above.

Jackman is out now via Atlantic. Find more information here.

Jack Harlow is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Saviii 3rd Reveals Kendrick Lamar’s Criteria For Collaborating With Artists

Saviii 3rd says that Kendrick Lamar asked him a series of five questions before committing to collaborating with him. The L.A. rapper explained Lamar’s vetting process during a recent interview on The Justin Credible Podcast. Despite being nervous, Saviii knew he had to answer to the best of his ability.

“I took those questions so serious,” Saviii 3rd explained. “One of the questions was: ‘Do you want to make music for your section, or do you want to make music for the world?’ Another one is: ‘What do you think your biggest flaw is when it comes to anything blocking your creativity?’ With this one, he put: ‘This is the one’ in parentheses, and he said: ‘What do you think is stopping you from being an ultimate superstar? Be truthful with yourself.’”

Despite Lamar having such a series vetting process, Thundercat recently revealed that his favorite studio session of all time was for “These Walls” off of To Pimp A Butterfly. Speaking with HipHopDX, the artist told the outlet, “My favorite studio session that I was in, gotta be honest: it was probably singing ‘These Walls.’ And a lot of my friends at the time didn’t realize that I sang. And so, my friends were just staring in my face like, ‘What is he doing right now?’ And I was like, ‘Can you guys leave the room so I can… I don’t wanna be looking in my friends’ eyes singing about these walls.’ It’s just looking at Terrace [Martin] in the eyes, singing in my highest Michael McDonald voice. Terrace is smiling like, ‘What about these walls, Steven?’ And I’m like, ‘Stop it!’ I couldn’t pause because the track is gonna keep going, so I gotta keep singing. There is no pause, it’s just continually me singing these walls and harmonies. And my friends looking down my throat. Don’t look at me like that. I’m a grown man, I pay taxes; I’ve been to jail. Don’t do that!”

On his latest project, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Lamar worked with Blxst, Amanda Reifer, Sampha, Taylour Paige, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Baby Keem, Kodak Black, and many more. The album won Best Rap Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

JID Is $2,000 Answer On “Jeopardy!”

JID recently entered another echelon of rap royalty, as he was an answer for a $2,000 question on Jeopardy! Moreover, the question was in the “Fight Songs” category and was the highest-scoring question in that field. Furthermore, the question posited a prompt and asked players to try to guess which rapper’s song they referenced. While many fans of the Atlanta MC might expect an established classic like “NEVER” or “Off Deez,” the prompt actually mentioned one of his biggest pop crossover collaborations. “‘Who the baddest?’” the prompt read. “‘It don’t matter ’cause we at your throat,’ this 3-letter guy raps on ‘Enemy,’ his collaboration with Imagine Dragons.”

After the show runners revealed the question, one player in particular was lightning-quick to give the correct answer. Justin exclaimed “Who’s JID?” as he laughed and gave a big smile to the host. “That’s right, you’re excited,” she replied. Given that the 32-year-old had arguably the best album of last year, it’s no wonder his fans feel so passionately about him. This joins the ranks of other famous rappers and rap songs who’ve appeared on the enduringly popular game show. However, JID’s inclusion is likely one of the most recent hip-hop references in the show’s history.

JID Joins The Jeopardy! Ranks

Furthermore, the “Workin Out” MC is also getting other extracurricular achievements under his belt. For example, he recently released the first single to Dreamville’s upcoming Creed III soundtrack. The track “Ma Boy” also features label mate Lute over an energetic and chilling beat. Both lyricists also display their talents with the pen as two of the collective’s most accomplished writers, which is saying a lot. While the soundtrack drops next week on the film’s theatrical release date of March 3rd, Bas just dropped another single for the project with Black Sheriff and Kel-P.

Meanwhile, many fans are hoping that JID gets back to one of his other trademark talents: freestyling. Recently, he revealed that Funk Flex’s meager response to his off-the-dome display dissuaded him from engaging in them again. However, after the legendary DJ called him one of his favorite rappers right now, it seems the two might run it back soon. Still, stick around on HNHH to hear the latest news, updates, and accomplishments from the one and only JID.
