Chris Brown Drops Deluxe Version of ’11:11′ Album Feat. Q

Chris Brown Drops Deluxe Version of '11:11' Album Feat. Lil Wayne, Bryson Tiller & More

Chart-topping artist Chris Brown surprises fans with the release of the deluxe edition of his acclaimed album 11:11. The deluxe edition now boasts 13 new tracks featuring an impressive lineup of collaborators.

Joining Brown on this musical journey are Bryson Tiller, Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas, Tee Grizzley, Mario, and Davido. The deluxe edition of “11:11” offers an exciting expansion to the original album, providing listeners with even more of Brown’s signature blend of R&B, hip-hop, and pop.

The deluxe album includes the single “Freak,” featuring Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas, and Tee Grizzley for a set of bars of an “Air Force Onces” sample. But the song also doubled as a diss to Quavo.

Breezy rapped:

“F-cking my old b-tches ain’t gone make us equal
Sipping that 1942 cause I don’t do no Quavo
Freak b-tch she like Casamigos not the Migos”

You can hear the line below.

In case you missed it, the two long have had beef. But it was fresh on the minds of the industry after the two were seated next to each other at the Rhude Fashion Show in Paris. Fans wondered if that meant the two were on the same page. Brown clarified they were not: “Can’t pick who u sit by.”

He added, “F–k all that growth sht. N–ia not finna fumble my bag for little ni–as.”

The root of their beef is Quavo, who once dated Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran in 2017.

Is Chris Brown Dissing Quavo On “Freak”?

The longstanding feud with Chris Brown and Quavo is somehow still relevant to hip-hop discourse in 2024. Over the years, Chris Breezy’s picked up feuds with several artists, whether R&B stars or rappers, for petty reasons. Frank Ocean, for example, allegedly got into it with Chris Brown over a parking spot and also had a rift with Drake that reportedly resulted in a club brawl. In the latter circumstance, their shared affection for Rihanna led to the kerfuffle, though she isn’t the only woman whom Breezy has been noticeably willing to go to war for.

In the wee hours of Thursday morning (April 11th), Chris Brown unveiled the deluxe edition of his latest project 11:11 containing the single, “Freak.” Though the record serves as a posse cut with verses from Lil Wayne, Tee Grizzley and Joyner Lucas, the singer’s bars have already taken over the timeline, though not necessarily for the right reasons.  On the song, Chris Brown disses Quavo, and the Migos, by extension.

Chris Brown’s “Freak”: What Did He Say About Quavo?

In “Freak,” Chris Brown plays with phonetics between the name of the Migos rapper and a famous tequila brand as a means to get his point across. “Okay, now f**kin’ my old bitches ain’t gon’ make us equal/ Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Cuervo (Quavo)/ Freak bitch, she like Casamigos, not the Migos,” Breezy raps over the nostalgic sample of Nelly’s hit record, “Air Force 1s.”

Though certainly not a scathing bar that would warrant a response, the issues between the two surround their romance with Karrueche Tran. For context, Quavo and Karrueche were the subject of dating rumors shortly after her split from Chris Brown. And while Tran has gone as far as filing a restraining order against the R&B star, it seems that he still hasn’t entirely gotten over her, nor the fact that Quavo, his then-friend and collaborator, had supposedly “betrayed” him.

Did Quavo Respond?

Quavo has yet to acknowledge Chris Brown’s recent bars. Considering their history, it seems unlikely that Quavo engages with this on wax. Over the years, the two haven’t necessarily made any attempts to bury the hatchet, either. In 2017, they nearly got into a physical altercation at the BET Awards After-Party, nothing really came of it after. Even at the top of the year, when organizers seated Chris Brown and Quavo next to each other, the former explained that he didn’t really have any control over the situation. “Can’t pick who u sit by. F*ck all that growth sh*t. N***a not finna fumble my bag for little n***as,” Brown said on Instagram.

Interestingly enough, that specific seating arrangement sparked an even bigger dialogue about who the bigger star is between Quavo and Chris Brown. Though Breezy remained mum on the matter, Quavo later poked his head out and stated that his star-power is undeniable, writing, “The biggest QUAVO HUNCHO!! Aint goin back and forth.” With the release of Chris Brown’s “Freak,” perhaps we can expect a word from Quavo in the future.

Chris Brown Gifts Fans With A Deluxe Version Of “11:11” Album

Chris Brown has more to say. Five months after releasing 11:11, the R&B singer is back with a deluxe version of the album. This deluxe version features 13 more songs and a plethora of new features. It also includes the track “Freak,” which has been getting lots of buzz online due to its perceived lyrical shots at Migos and rapper Quavo, in particular. It appears Drake and Kendrick Lamar aren’t the only superstars who want to go to war in 2024.

11:11 was a hugely successful release, spawning the hit single “Summer Too Hot” and earning Brown a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance. The deluxe version looks to keep the hot streak going. It boasts a stacked list of guest stars that include Joyner Lucas, Tea Grizzly, and Bryson Tiller. There’s also going to be a Lil Wayne verse on “Freak,” which bodes very well given the track record Breezy and Weezy have together. As was previously noted, though, most of the attention on “Freak” has spawned from Brown’s combative lyrics.

Chris Brown’s “11:11” Deluxe Has 13 New Songs

“Ok, now f***in’ my old b****es ain’t gone make us equal,” Brown raps. “Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Quavo. Freak b***h, she Casamigos not the Migos.” This isn’t the first time the singer has publicly discussed his issues with Quavo. Brown reportedly argued with all three members of Migos at the 2017 BET Awards, and Offset threatened to “smack the s**t” out of Brown on a 2019 Instagram Story. It all stems from the fact that Quavo briefly dated Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, in 2017. “Freak” is the definite standout on the 11:11 deluxe version, with the rest being the standard R&B/pop fodder one would expect from Brown.

What do you think of the deluxe version of Chris Brown’s latest album, 11:11? Do you think it’s a better batch of songs than the standard version? Do you think Quavo is going to respond to the “Freak” diss? Whatever the case, let us know your thoughts down in the comments section below. Chris Brown Disses Quavo On New Song, Plus Another Target

Chris Brown and Quavo’s beef traces back about seven years, yet it seems no closer to a point of resolution. Not only that, but it looks like we’re getting this feud manifested on wax for the first time in their turbulent history together. Moreover, Breezy sent some shots the rapper’s way on “Freak,” a cut off of his latest full-length release, the deluxe version of his album 11:11. “F***ing my old b***hes ain’t gon’ make us equal,” he raps on the cut, referring to Huncho’s fling with Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran, which started their whole spat. “Sipping that 1942 cause I don’t do no Cuervo (Quavo) / Freak b***h, she like Casamigos, not the Migos.”

Furthermore, as opposed to previous escalations, this also makes it very clear that Chris Brown’s animosity extends to the Migos as a whole. Before this, things were very much one-on-one with Quavo, or two-on-two if you count the R&B star’s basketball challenge to the Georgia native back in 2021. But now, fans have to consider Offset as part of the equation, and many of them won’t be happy about putting dirt on Takeoff’s legacy as a group member. While none of this is a direct statement from Brown, these implications draw a deeper line in the sand.

Chris Brown’s Quavo Diss: Listen

Nevertheless, we wonder if Quavo will respond to Chris Brown on wax or if their beef will remain on a personal social media level for the most part. In fact, he had previously seemed to respond to online debates about who is more relevant between them. Of course, the “Motorcycle Patches” MC implied that he’s “the biggest,” which prompted even more heated back-and-forths between fans. But they’re both confident in their abilities to best the other.

Meanwhile, what do you think about this reignited tension between these artists in 2024? Do you think that there’s a “winner” in this beef or are these just two artists that need to work out the issues between them with a sit-down? Whatever the case, let us know your thoughts down in the comments section below. For more news and the latest updates on Chris Brown and Quavo, come back to HNHH.

The 2024 beef continues. This time, Chris Brown is aiming at Quavo.

Chris Brown has released the deluxe edition of his 11:11 project. The album includes the single “Freak,” featuring Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas, and Tee Grizzley for a set of bars of an “Air Force Onces” sample.

The bars are below:

Quavo & Destroy Lonely Mesh Well On Their First Song “Potato Loaded”

People had some sneaky suspicions that Quavo and Destroy Lonely could be cooking up something in the studio. Photos surfaced near the very start of 2024 when NLE Choppa shared a post on social media of him chopping it up with the two aforementioned artists. While most people were probably expecting the Memphis rapper to be a part of the collab, that is sadly not the case. However, Quavo and Destroy Lonely are more than enough to get excited about.

Those earlier sessions have resulted in this new single right here, “Potato Loaded.” This is a Quavo single, as Lonely is credited as the feature, which makes this his third solo effort. The former Migo also worked with ATL Jacob and BU$HI as a guest. So, this could mean a third album could be in the works.

Those possible promotional records include “Real One” with Rich The Kid, and “Himothy.” So far, “Potato Loaded” may be the strongest of three. The cavernous trap beat with the enchanting woodwind sample is a nice combination of atmosphere and grittiness. Furthermore, Lonely brings an animated performance as Quavo opts for a more cool and subdued delivery. You can check out the new single above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Potato Loaded,” by Quavo and Destroy Lonely? Was this song worth the wait for you, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the track and why? Who had the stronger performance? Should these two work again in the near future? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Destroy Lonely Pairs With Quavo In His Stripped-Down ‘Potato Loaded’ Video, Continuing The Opium Takeover

Playboi Carti’s Opium crew is poised for a big breakout in 2024, even despite canceling their Antagonist Tour. After Homixide Gang dropped their crime-epic video for “Hi-Voltage” last week, it’s Destroy Lonely’s turn at bat. The Atlanta native gets a big co-sign from one of his cities brightest stars, landing a feature on the new Quavo song “Potato Loaded.” The rap nepo baby (his dad is I-20 of Disturbing Tha Peace fame) proves supremely adaptable, switching easily from his usual distorted soundscapes to a more familiar trap production alongside the industry vet.

In the stripped-down, accompanying video, the two Big Peach natives keep things simple. You’ve seen videos set at house parties; how about throwing a party in a freight elevator? Surrounded by video vixens, the two rappers deliver their menacing, boastful bars under lurid green lights with money all over the floor and an assortment of jewelry and drugs to show off. Their performances are intercut with a dynamic chase shot of DL hanging out the passenger side of a sports car as the duo cruises through the city streets.

“Potato Loaded” is Quavo’s third video of the year, following visuals for “Real One” with Rich The Kid and “Himothy.” While he hasn’t announced a new album, don’t be surprised if he pops out with one soon enough.

Offset Certainly Didn’t Seem To Have Beef With Quavo As He Shared A Message For His Fellow Migos Member

A couple days ago, on April 2, Quavo celebrated his 33rd birthday. There have been rumors that he’s currently beefing with fellow Migos member Offset, but Offset appeared to put that to rest.

In a birthday message shared on his Instagram Story (as HipHopDX notes), Offset wrote, “Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L,” with “4L” meaning “for life.”

At the Grammys in February 2023, it was rumored that the two got into a fight backstage, but Offset later denied it, tweeting, “What the f*ck look like fighting my brother y’all n****s is crazy.” Not long after that, on his song “Greatness,” Quavo addressed the future of Migos, rapping, “Came in, swept the game like a storm with the motherf*cking flow, n****, Take did that / So don’t ask about the group, he gone, we gone, young n**** it can’t come back, damn!” Then, days later, Offset and Quavo were at the same NBA game but seated separately.

So, while it’s possible there was tension, it appears that as it stands now, there’s still love at the core of the relationship.

Meanwhile, Quavo recently popped up during Post Malone’s Rolling Loud California set to perform “Congratulations.” As for Offset, he recently launched his Set It Off Tour.

Quavo Takes a Stand: Migos Rapper Launches Gun Violence Prevention Charity

Quavo Releases New Song and Video 'WITHOUT YOU' Dedicated to Takeoff

In the wake of tragedy, Migos rapper Quavo is stepping up to address the issue of gun violence with the launch of a new charity aimed at making a difference in his community. The initiative comes two years after the devastating loss of his fellow Migos member, Takeoff, who was shot and killed during a dice game in Houston.

The incident, which occurred at a gathering hosted by Rap-A-Lot Records CEO Jas Prince, shook the music industry and left Quavo and his fans mourning the loss of a talented artist and friend. Now, Quavo is turning his grief into action by launching the SPARK Grants program through his foundation, The Rocket Foundation, with the goal of reducing gun violence in Atlanta.

According to a report by People magazine, Quavo, 32, is committing $100,000 to the gun prevention program, which will focus on fostering community resilience and supporting organizations working to combat violence in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The SPARK Grants program will distribute $10,000 grants to ten non-profit organizations dedicated to violence reduction efforts.

In a press release announcing the initiative, Quavo expressed his commitment to creating positive change and making Atlanta a safer place for its residents. By partnering with local organizations, The Rocket Foundation aims to collaborate on initiatives that will have a tangible impact on the community and help prevent future tragedies.

The launch of the SPARK Grants program reflects Quavo’s dedication to using his platform for good and addressing pressing social issues. As a prominent figure in the music industry, he recognizes the importance of leveraging his influence to advocate for meaningful change and support initiatives that promote peace and safety.

While the loss of Takeoff continues to weigh heavily on Quavo and the Migos community, the launch of this gun violence prevention charity serves as a powerful testament to their commitment to honoring his memory and preventing similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

As Quavo and The Rocket Foundation embark on this important endeavor, they hope to inspire others to join the fight against gun violence and work towards creating safer communities for all.

Quavo Honors Takeoff With Gun Violence Reduction Initiative In Atlanta

Quavo will always do right by his nephew Takeoff’s memory, and his most recent move is a direct call to avoid tragedies like what took his life in late 2022. Moreover, Billboard reported on Wednesday (March 20) that he launched the Sparks Grants initiative for organizations combating gun violence in Atlanta. The move aims to grant $10,000 to each group focusing on firearm regulation and other initiatives to improve the community’s safety and security, make a legislative impact, and do right by lives lost to senseless loss. The deadline to apply for the grant is April 21 via The Rocket Foundation’s website, which you can find here.

“I am honored to launch this grant program to honor Take and the countless families that have been affected by gun violence,” Quavo shared about this effort via a statement. “The Rocket Foundation will be giving out $100,000 in Spark grants to local organizations dedicated to reducing community violence in Atlanta. There is a lot of important work going on in ATL right now, and part of our mission is to uplift these organizations and support them to help save more lives.”

Elsewhere, Offset recently spoke on his relationship with Quavo, both former members of the Migos. Tensions between them before and after member Takeoff’s death were a big conversation, one that Take’s loss seemed to re-contextualize and heal. “I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other,” he remarked. “We went through something, we don’t have to show you smiles on faces… so stop doing that.

“We ain’t on no sucker s**t with each other,” ‘Set went on, “We both came in this s**t together and we both knew that, we understood that, and we lost our brother. I still go through s**t, I know bro go through s**t. N***as love each other though at the end of the day. We men, we real brothers, and we cool with it, so be cool with it. Don’t ever try and turn us against each other. I hate that s**t. At the end of the day, it ain’t your business.” Furthermore, for more news and the latest updates on Quavo, check back in with HNHH.
