A Look Into Will Smith’s Iconic Acting Career

Oscar and Grammy Award-winner Will Smith is one of the highest-paid actors of all time and deserving of it, too. Grossing more than $9.3 billion globally for his iconic roles in television and film, the decorated actor Is credited as a “bankable star.” This means Smith is guaranteed to bring box-office success by merely appearing in the film. Born in Philadelphia, Smith began his career as a rapper, creating music with his best friend, DJ Jazzy Jeff. After releasing multiple chart-toppers between 1984 to 1994, Smith ultimately ventured into his solo career. The duo didn’t split, as DJ Jazzy Jeff appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The show featured Smith’s most iconic role as a fictional embodiment of himself.

Smith premiered his acting career in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990 as a teenager adjusting to his extended family. He raked in $2.8 million within his first three years on the show but didn’t see much of it due to owing money in back taxes. Smith’s skills would eventually make him one of the wealthiest actors, with a reported net worth of $350 million.

From Drama to Comedy and Action, Will Smith’s Many Acting Roles

Staring in multiple films in the ‘90s, like Independence Day (1996), Enemy of the State (1998), and Wild Wild West (1999), Smith was able to use his experience acting to mold a multifaceted career. Smith has taken on comedy, action, drama, and just about every film genre. He has even voiced for multiple animated roles like Shark Tale (2004) and Spies in Disguise (2019). He’s also long exhibited his ability to transform into a relatable role model for anyone of any age. In 2019, he even landed a part as the Genie on Disney’s live version of Aladdin. Taking on multiple roles at a time in varying genres, Smith epitomizes the hustle of a true actor with a genuine devotion to their work.

His passion for action is evident, as many of his iconic roles fit within the genre. Starring as a detective in the Bad Boys franchise alongside Martin Lawrence, Smith shows fans his recognizable comedic banter. However, movies like I Am Legend portray him as a survivor with the power to do anything he sets his mind to.  Other notable performances by Smith are his roles in Ali, Hitch, Gemini Man, I, Robot, Concussion, and Seven Pounds. In the latter, his character seeks out people to share vital parts of himself, displaying Smith’s highly favored ability to evoke emotion in any given film.

Men in Black (Trilogy)

Based on the Marvel comic book, this plot surrounds a conspiracy theory that an elite undercover group of men has had their identities wiped to investigate extraterrestrial life on Earth. Men in Black is also loaded with science fiction theories and people with powers unheard of. Smith’s character, Agent J Darrell Edwards III, investigates the criminal activity of extraterrestrials. The films’ plots center around the MIB (men in black) who uncover evil plans to take over the world. In Men in Black III, Agent J (Smith) seeks more information about his partner, Agent Kevin Brown, played by Tommy Lee Jones. Additionally, all three films have grossed over $1 billion at the box office, while Men in Black III earned $654.2 million. This makes Smith one of the only four actors in the world to earn $100 million from a role in a film.

Emancipation (2022)

Whipped within an inch of his life, an enslaved man named Peter flees by foot from a Louisiana plantation. This thrilling drama is arguably one of Smith’s most moving roles yet. He ravishes his way through horrifying treachery to return home to his family. Based on the true story of “Whipped Peter,” Smith also had to take control of himself in this role to embody the history of the message. Justifying his part with complete dedication to the role, Smith gave all of himself in this Oscar-worthy performance.

King Richard (2021)

Winning an Oscar for his standout performance as the father of tennis’ most elite, Serena and Venus Williams, Richard Williams motivated his two daughters toward their professional careers. This is also an extraordinarily inspirational role played by Smith. He depicts the father’s love and support with patience, power, and perfection. It was Richard’s idea to have his two daughters begin the sport, and Smith takes on the role of molding two champions impeccably with his experience of being a father himself. In real life, Smith also shows his kids Jaden, Willow, and Trey equal love, just as Richard did with Serena and Venus.

The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

This film was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe. Smith transcended his role, giving an emotionally raw performance of Chris Gardner in this true story. Smith delivered the role with all he had, which also permeates on screen. Displaying depth and intensity, Smith’s character is a homeless single father who struggles to find work. He and his young son face the adverse streets of San Francisco with hunger and a yearning to survive. Jaden Smith also appears in this film as his father’s on-screen son.

Suicide Squad (2016)

Based on the popular DC comic, this superhero film is jam-packed with an epic cast. Smith’s character, Deadshot, is an expert marksman and assassin who hunts but vows never to kill a woman or child. Though his job is to kill off the evil prey of the world, he is just as focused on his relationship with his daughter. When he’s approached by Batman, he has to decide to either work or protect. Deadshot’s ability to maintain and balance his stern and affectionate demeanor under the control of the government as an obedient criminal makes for an entertaining film.

Collateral Beauty (2016)

In this moving drama, Smith embodies an NYC advertising executive, Howard Inlet, who tragically loses his daughter. He stops working and communicating with his friends but turns his pain into a plan to restore his life. To heal, he writes individual letters to Love, Time, and Death. Then, he starts to experience synchronicities that end up as lessons. He learns that what you go through affects everyone, so it’s best to have a grateful heart to receive life’s blessings despite an inevitable death.

Upcoming Work from Will Smith

What’s to come from Smith in the next couple of years should be highly anticipated. His ability to take on multiple roles simultaneously makes him more focused than ever. I Am Legend 2: Last Man on Earth will star Smith alongside Michael B. Jordan in its 2024 November premiere. At the same time, Bad Boys IIII is due to be released by 2025.

Larry June’s Top Streamed Songs

It may not be accurate to say the songs Larry June makes are “underground.” He’s got around 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and fans often use his tracks in social media posts. Many people are also drawn to him for his motivational subject matter and relaxing production. His latest album, The Great Escape, is a collaborative project with megaproducer, The Alchemist that arrived today (March 31). To help celebrate, we wanted to list his most streamed songs and review why fans are drawn to his music.

10. “Palisades, CA” – Larry June & The Alchemist feat. Big Sean (2023)

This Larry June song is a recent single from his collab album with The Alchemist. This is the first time June has linked with Big Sean, and many listeners were surprised to see them collaborate. This song proves their style contrast cannot hold them back from creating something good together. The Alchemist gave them a beat that simultaneously combined an eerie and smooth feeling. Larry hops on it with a relaxed flow, and Big Sean mirrors it. Then, after that, he switches to rapid-fire before going to another confidently relaxed delivery. The punchlines and wordplay in Sean’s verse stack up quickly and effortlessly. Each of their verses alludes to healthy lifestyle habits, which confirms that they’re undoubtedly on the same wavelength.

9. “60 Days” – Larry June & The Alchemist (2023)

This song was Larry June’s first single for The Great Escape. It helped introduce and establish the tone of the album. This one is exceptional for one reason: The Alchemist raps on it. Many listeners had never heard him rap before. Those who have been around know it’s not the first time he’s done it. However, it has been years. This song is also a sequel to another track in Larry’s catalog, “30 Day Run.” Larry’s verses talk of things he’s achieved, and he sings through the hook. His background vocals help enhance it with some of his trademark ad-libs.

8. “89 Earthquake” – Larry June & The Alchemist (2023)

This song was the second single for The Great Escape. In it, we find Larry rapping over a piano and horns provided by The Alchemist’s production. The song’s title comes from an earthquake in San Francisco, California, in 1989. Larry June often references California in his music. In this one, after talking his talk in the verses, he gives listeners a sung bridge. He precedes this moment by shouting, “Sing it, Larry!” This is right on brand for him as one saying fans associate with him is “Good Job, Larry.” This can often be seen in the comments sections of his social media.

7. “One of Us” – Joey Bada$$ feat. Larry June (2022)

This is the first song on this list where Larry June is the feature. This one comes from Joey Bada$$’s 2022 album, 2000. It also is another unexpected collab. Many people associate Joey with old-school boom-bap rap. Since this song was produced by Statik Selektah, it still fits that lane. However, it has a certain effortlessness to it. Fittingly, Larry takes the opening portion of his verse to reflect on his past. But, like Joey, his true focus on the verse is the present. Joey references Larry in the closing moments of his verse. He acknowledges they are from opposite coasts but still have similar lifestyles.

6. “Private Valet” – Larry June (2022)

This song is the first single for Larry June’s Spaceships on the Blade album. With Jake One on production, Larry uses this to showcase his rapping and singing abilities. Jake’s soundscape includes strings and other sounds that create a luxurious atmosphere. Still, it has that signature tranquil bounce most of Larry’s music carries. His delivery has a little more energy than usual, but he still sounds very relaxed on the track. His tales of high-class living are shared as he reiterates that he’s reached this level with hard work.

5. “Corte Madera, CA” – Larry June (2022)

This song also comes from June’s Spaceships on the Blade. It is also his first solo song on this list that is not a single. Listeners may have given this deep-cut repeated streams because of something unique about it: the sample. The song, which was produced by Ricci Riera, samples “In A Sentimental Mood” by Duke Ellington and John Coltrane. This song was released in 1963. It may not be as instantly recognizable as some other samples people have used, but it’s a classic for jazz lovers. The drums in the beat blend with the sample well and give it a modern yet classy feel. The sound effects in the song also help enhance the picture Larry is painting in his singular, hook-free verse.

4. “Keep Calling” – Blxst feat. Larry June (2022)

On this track, June links with artist Blxst to create a song that works well for the summer. Blxst’s rap-sung flow compliments his voice well, as the drums skitter around it. Larry raps his verse, but the ad-libs are melodic. This creates a soft contrast throughout his verse, complimenting the song’s tone. Blxst holds down production, too, and crafted a beat that sounds modern with old-school elements. Since he is also a West Coast native, he knew what would work best for them. The rhythmic and dynamic bass gives the track a nostalgic feel, while their delivery choices make it sound modern.

3. “Let’s Drive to Vegas” – Larry June (2019)

This song is from June’s project Out the Trunk. In this song, he reflects on his past and where he’s at now. He also speaks of how he’s thankful he can provide for himself and others. The vocal loop and piano in the song give it a very peaceful atmosphere. Larry’s verses are built around his hook, and this is a song that encapsulates many trademark aspects of his overall sound. Not only is it motivational, but it is an excellent song for those looking to be introduced to June’s catalog.

2. “Watering My Plants” – Larry June (2020)

This track was included in Adjust to the Game. In the second verse, the rapper speaks of his plans for a woman he is with. However, many listeners probably are drawn to it for the sample: “Everybody Loves the Sunshine” by Roy Ayers. This is one many people have used on social media for the song’s hook, “Let me water plants.” Larry has a little fun with this chorus as he changes it to “your plants” to fit the narrative of the second verse. He still talks his talk but manages to weave in motivation and relatable perspectives, too.

1. “Smoothies in 1991” – Larry June (2019)

This song encapsulates practically every aspect of June’s music. His smooth flow, singing and background vocals, ad-libs, and even a sprinkle of humor. The song has three verses, a hook, and a bridge, making it one of Larry’s more “traditional” tracks in structure. This is also why it is one of the longest songs on this list. It contains an iconic sample, “Wishing on a Star” by Rose Royce. Some may recognize it from Jay-Z’s song of the same name, which also hosts the sample. Producer Julian G. Avila blends the original with trap-esque drums and old-school bass. Larry sounds at home on it. Is your favorite Larry June song on this list? Let us know in the comment section.

50 Cent’s Most Streamed Songs

50 Cent’s songs have been a part of the rap world for years. Depending on age, you may remember different moments in his music career. Many are fond of his era with his group G Unit. Others remember when he planned to outsell a certain artist—and he didn’t. Some may remember when he first entered the acting world. Fif also did double duty by creating a soundtrack for the movie he starred in. Nowadays, people know 50 for his Power television series and its various spin-offs. He’s also known for saying all kinds of things on social media—mainly about viral moments that don’t really concern him. Still, he would not have reached the level he’s at today without his foundation in music. Here, we’ve revisited his catalog and ranked his Top 10 most streamed songs.

10. “Window Shopper” (2005)

This song is from 50 Cent’s soundtrack album Get Rich or Die Tryin’: Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture. 50 discusses his ability to buy things on a whim. He shares that people who can’t shouldn’t be mad at him because he can. The music video showed different prices on the screen of things 50 and Mase are buying. Meanwhile, the prices of things other people have in the video are shown, and they are much lower. However, Mase’s cartoonishly large $75 milkshake and 50’s normal-sized $400 burger are fun visual jokes. This song actually has two music videos, with one having clips from 50’s movie, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in it. The song itself has a very smooth feel, which fits the easygoing flow 50 uses in the song.

9.  “Best Friend (Remix)” ft. Olivia (2005)

This song is a unique one in 50 Cent’s discography. Sometimes, it’s credited as 50’s song; in other spaces, he’s listed as the featured artist. This is because the original song was a single from 50’s album Get Rich or Die Tryin’: Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture. This remixed version was featured on Olivia’s album, Behind Closed Doors, but it’s still listed as Fif featuring the singer. This cross-promotion benefited them both because she was on G-Unit with 50 Cent. In this one, 50 speaks to a woman who placed him in the friend zone. He wants to have a relationship with her, but she’s already taken. She says they’re just friends, and 50 responds to this by interloping a chorus from Biz Markie’s “Just A Friend.”

8. “Disco Inferno” (2005)

This is the first club song from 50 Cent on this list. Listeners may remember when he was dominating the game, and this is a lane he excelled in. His verses paint a picture of what happens in the club when he hits the spot, including name-dropping the bottles he orders. His flow is easygoing and pairs well with the production. The bass and claps in the production also make it easy to dance to, although 50 shares that he doesn’t two-step. This track further shows Fif shouting out Eminem and Dr. Dre. He was signed to both of their labels simultaneously. This song was a single from 50’s second album, The Massacre, which was centered in controversy.

7. “If I Can’t” (2003)

This song is from 50 Cent’s debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. It’s also the first song on this list that has production from Dr. Dre. The Aftermath mogul also makes a small appearance vocally on the song after 50 mentions him. The keys on the track are the biggest giveaway that Dre was behind the production. 50’s verses here feature a few flow switches that play well with the evolving beat. Their pauses complement Fif’s captivating hook. Additionally, third verses were familiar back in 2005, and 50 uses each of them to share what he wants to say.

6. “Many Men (Wish Death)” (2003)

This is one of the more serious 50 Cent songs on this list. Most people know of the rapper’s background prior to his music career. He has often referred to and utilized experiences from his past in his music. 50 discusses the violent confrontational situations he has been in and how he will handle them going forward. The piano in this song helps give it a semi-menacing yet semi-remorseful feeling. Something interesting about this track is that Eminem has production credits on it, too.  50 is well aware of what he’s been through and is confident he won’t let it happen again. Often, rappers have shared tales of situations they have been through, or they speak from someone else’s perspective. In this one, 50 is only speaking from his own.

5. “Just A Lil Bit” (2005)

This is another club banger from 50 Cent. It also is another on this list to host a legendary producer. This time, production came from the one and only Scott Storch. 50’s verses once again discuss his activities when enjoying a night at the club. However, this time, he declares that he does dance – but uses old moves. In this song, we actually get a bridge from 50 and an instrumental from Scott Storch. Further, this song’s melody has a sitar—an instrument with a distinct sound.

4. “21 Questions” ft. Nate Dogg (2003)

This is one of the sentimental songs from 50 Cent. Many of his hits center on 50’s interest in women, but this time around, he’s going for a more emotional angle. He’s telling his lady friend what he can and wants to do for her, and he questions her loyalty. Nate Dogg is on the song’s hook and outro and drives home the song’s theme with his own inquiries. The guitar gives it a smooth feeling within a track that isn’t aggressive. This one has over 460 million streams on Spotify today, released in 2003.

3. “P.I.M.P” (2003)

This is one of 50 Cent’s biggest songs. Like an earlier entry in this list, the song has an exotic instrument in its production: a steel drum. The track has a tropical vibe, combined with a party atmosphere. On this one, Fif discusses his involvement with a woman who he won’t let get in the way of his other endeavors. How he approaches the topic is yet another facet in the multiple ways he’s discussed women in songs. The song’s hook directly contrasts other perspectives and mindsets he’s shared previously. Contrastingly, his second verse lines up with earlier perspectives he’s discussed.

2. “Candy Shop” ft. Olivia (2005)

This is another song on the list with Scott Storch at the helm of production. The hitmaking producer brings more exotic-sounding melodies to the beat. Additionally, Olivia makes another appearance. Fans compared this song to another of Fif’s hits, “Magic Stick” featuring Lil Kim. 50 stated he didn’t want to be “vulgar or obscene” in his verses for “Candy Shop,” but his innuendo isn’t difficult to decipher. Olivia’s feature comes in for the second half of the hook and some reinforcement of 50’s bridge. Meanwhile, Storch admitted the production for “Candy Shop” was first intended for Fat Joe.

1. “In Da Club” (2003)

This is 50 Cent’s most popular song. It currently has over one billion streams on Spotify. Dr. Dre also produced this, and it is one of his most recognizable beats. For most, this song’s “birthday” parts are what they remember. The track also has a rich history. It’s one of the seven songs 50 recorded with Dr. Dre in only five days. It wasn’t originally going to be the first single for his debut album, but it won in a coin flip. They did this because Eminem picked a different song for Fif, and Dre wanted this one. It’s only fitting that 50’s biggest song has a story involving all three hitmakers.

Which of 50 Cent’s biggest hits were your favorites? Let us know in the comments section.

Tyler, the Creator has come a long way as a multi-hyphenate creative powerhouse for over a decade. Tyler has shown that he is here to stay through his music, successful clothing line, and many other ventures. Although people know a lot about Tyler thanks to his popularity, one part of his life appears to be private: his dating history. He has hinted at his sexuality and rarely talks about his romantic relationships in interviews. So, who is Tyler, the Creator dating? Read on to learn everything we know about the rapper’s romantic history!

What Are Tyler, the Creator’s Past Relationships?

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA – SEPTEMBER 03: Tyler, the Creator performs onstage during 2022 Made In America at Benjamin Franklin Parkway on September 03, 2022 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Roc Nation)

Model and actress Zendaya was linked to Tyler in the past. In 2015, it was rumored that Tyler and Zendaya were dating after he posted an Instagram selfie with her. Even though the photo looked harmless, fans worried that their relationship might be more intimate than it seemed. Still, neither Tyler nor Zendaya has said they ever dated. Then, in 2017, Tyler was allegedly linked to actress Steffanie Christi’an. The pair sparked dating rumors when they were seen together publicly, but Tyler never confirmed their relationship. The following year, it was also reported that the rapper was involved with a woman named Gio Rai. However, no pictures or videos were ever released of the alleged couple. Nevertheless, people speculated they were keeping their relationship out of the public eye.

Tyler Gives Insight Into His Sexuality

Tyler has done the best job of keeping his dating history a secret. Tyler has never been seen with a specific person in public, but there have been rumors that he isn’t straight. Moreover, fans have used his lyrics as proof. For instance, he raps in his critically acclaimed album Flower Boy‘s song “I Ain’t Got Time” that he has been “kissing white boys since 2004.” In a 2015 interview, Tyler also said, “[I] had a boyfriend when I was 15 in f—–g Hawthorne [California], n—a. If that’s not open-minded, I don’t know what the f–k that is.” However, Tyler stated elsewhere that he was aware of questions regarding his sexuality and preferred to keep things vague.

Jaden Smith Speculation

In 2017, Jaden Smith did a show at Tyler’s Camp Flog Gnaw in California. When he was on stage, he told the crowd that Tyler, the Creator was his boyfriend. This made people wonder if the pair were actually in a committed relationship. Smith said: “I wanna tell you… Tyler doesn’t want to say, but Tyler’s my motherf–king boyfriend, and he’s been my motherf–king boyfriend my whole f–king life!” He also stated, “It’s true! Tyler, the Creator is my f–king boyfriend. If you take anything away from this f–king show, that’s what you take away!”

Soon after the show, Jaden tweeted, “Yup @tylerthecreator I Told Everyone You Can’t Deny It Now.” Tyler replied: “Hahaha you a crazy n—a man.” Many people on Twitter praised their relationship, while others thought it was just a marketing ploy or a joke between them. Also, Smith called Tyler, the Creator his boyfriend again when the Igor star won a Grammy in 2020. Since then, neither Jaden nor Tyler has said anything that suggests they are dating.

Is Tyler The Creator Dating Anyone?

Tyler hasn’t been linked with anyone for some time, leading fans to believe he is currently single. The rapper hasn’t openly discussed his relationship status, but he does appear to be living his best life, touring the world and creating music. While Tyler keeps his personal affairs close to his heart, he might have given us a clue about his love life in his album Igor. In the lyrics for the track “I Think,” Tyler raps about a potential love interest: “I ain’t tryna date, if that is what you’re thinkin’ babe / It’s just, I think I like you, girl, and I do not know why.”

Despite speculation that the rapper is currently with someone, the mystery remains. He has never been vocal about his relationships and keeps his love life out of the spotlight. He’s keen to stay single for now, focusing on his music and career instead. But there’s still a chance that Tyler, the Creator is in a committed relationship – only time will tell! As a talented artist and musician who has made a name for himself in the music business, it’s understandable that people are interested in what goes on behind the scenes. He has chosen to keep his private life separate from his public persona; overall, it’s been respected.

Steph & Ayesha Curry’s Full Relationship: From Teenagers To The NBA

Wardell Stephen Curry II, 4X NBA champion, arguably the greatest to step at the three-point line, is as devoted on the court as he is at home with his family. Curry’s on-court command is unlike any other player of our generation, and when the first-round pick of the Golden State Warriors handles the ball, there’s no stopping him. The 2X MVP champ and 9X All-Star recklessly controls the court, respectfully. Not only do fans, coaches, and his team support the 2X NBA scoring champion, but he also receives the respect and admiration of his opponents. An outstanding player on the court and an even better man off it, Curry loves the game that has long been in his life. However, he has fallen for a woman just as outstanding as he: Ayesha Curry.

Steph & Ayesha Meet As Teens In Church

Ayesha Curry, entrepreneur and mother of three, helps to complete the Curry package. The duo first met in 2003 at church when they were 14 and 15 years old, and just as any teenage tale goes, the foundation of their relationship was set. Ayesha first thought her now-husband wasn’t her type due to all the girls flocking around him. However, she did make attempts when church services were over to court the person who would later become the father to her children. Yea, that’s right, Ayesha made the first move on the Warriors point guard.

In his biography, The Rise of Steph Curry, his sister, Sydel, recalled Ayesha only saying a few words to Steph before walking away. Clearly and cleverly, Ayesha soon made her way into the record holder’s heart. Though it would take a few years for them to commit, the two would never forget who their high school crushes were.

Steph & Ayesha Reconnect At 2008 ESPYs

The pair reconnected at the ESPYs in 2008 when Ayesha was modeling and acting in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Steph was playing in the Final Four for his college basketball team, and the two reunited, sparking an ever larger flame than their teen days. Ayesha impressed Steph with her lack of interest in the seriousness of his basketball career. He quickly took to Ayesha, saying, “She really didn’t know what I did at the time, it was pretty refreshing.”

The First Date

This time around, Steph would make the first move by contacting Ayesha on Facebook. Classy and simple. Their first date involved Ayesha picking him up in her old school ‘95 Astro van. The two spent their time drinking chai lattes and taking pictures with Marilyn Monroe impersonators on Hollywood Boulevard. Noting how “funny” and “silly” Steph was, Ayesha said, “He was the absolute opposite of what I thought he was going to be.” It wouldn’t be long for the two to be each other’s first-round picks, and like Steph’s time with the Warriors, there’s seemingly no chance of a breakup.

Ayesha Says “I Love You” First

In remembering the first time the pair exchanged an “I love you,” Ayesha remarks, “I told him I loved him first, and he said, ‘I feel like I love you too, but I don’t want to say it unless I’m sure because I just want to be sure that when I say it, I really mean it.’ Months later, at a Christmas family gathering, Steph would finally tell Ayesha of his love for her. She recalled that while watching a movie with both their families, Steph “turned to my ear, and he said, ‘I love you.’” And just like that, the two would lead their romance into overtime and create a beautiful family together.

Steph Stages 2010 Proposal As A Family Cookout

Proposing to Ayesha in 2010, Steph staged the proposal to make it seem like the couple was on their way to a family cookout. In speaking in his defining moment as a fiancée, Steph recalled, “So we pulled up to the house, and I stopped in the middle of the driveway, got down on my knee, and went into my spiel.” Moreover, Steph asked Ayesha to marry him in the exact spot they had their first kiss. However, Ayesha recalled the kiss as being odd because Steph went in for it mid-conversation. Yet, the proposal seemed to go much smoother.

The Couple Marry In The Same Church Where They Met

Ayesha describes herself as being in a “state of shock” when Steph dropped to one knee, but she answered her soon-to-be husband with a yes. The pair married in the summer of 2011 at the church where they met as teenagers. The couple welcomed their firstborn, Riley, 10, in 2012. Three years later, in 2015, they welcomed their second girl, Ryan, 7. And to make it a family of five, the pair welcomed their son, Canon, 4, in 2018.

In recounting their time together, the couple uses social media to share their love. Writing on Instagram on their 10th wedding anniversary, Steph said of Ayesha, “Sexy as can be inside and out and continuing to show me how amazing our God is by the creation that you are. Blessed me with the three of the dopest humans around. You are the key to everything that I do.” So much for not falling for an athlete, huh, Ayesha? Her heart had a clear path paved for Steph, and good thing she followed it because what’s a baller without his baddie?

Steph & Ayesha Renew Their Vows

Renewing their vows in 2021, Steph, again, surprised Ayesha. She said, “He even picked out my dress for me and had it waiting.” The couple’s children were present as Riley officiated, and the younger two walked Ayesha down the aisle in a backyard ceremony. Unstoppable on the court and a devoted romantic, there’s no telling what Steph’s next move is. What we do know is that it’s always backed with nothing but love and faith.

A Marriage That’ll Last a Lifetime

Currently taking time to support Steph, Ayesha also continues to hustle. Taking to the kitchen, Ayesha says she has always had a passion for food. She released her cookbook, The Seasoned Life: Food, Family, Faith, and the Joy of Eating Well, in 2016 and had a show on the Food Network, Ayesha’s Home Kitchen, that aired for two seasons.

The couple also launched their own game show in 2022 on HBO called About Last Night. Being that the pair center their relationship around the little moments they spend alone, Ayesha said she wanted the show to be modeled after “date night.” The couple occasionally appeared on the series, as both keep busy with family and basketball. There’s no stopping the Currys regarding what they set their mind to. Whether it be romance, athletics, or making sure your family is well-fed, Steph and Ayesha are the epitomai of everlasting love, and proud of it!

Lil Peep’s Tattoos & Their Meanings

Late rapper Lil Peep was best known for his iconic “emo-rap” sound. At a young age, he found great success in the underground and mainstream alternative Hip-Hop scenes. Since his death at 21 in 2017, Peep’s legacy has grown posthumously, as his unique sound has been difficult to replicate, despite attempts by other rappers. In addition to his music, Peep was also famous for his eccentric look and tattoos. He had around 59 at the time of his death and explained the meanings behind many of them. Let’s look at some of Peep’s ink and what they meant to him.

Most Famous Tattoos

One of Peep’s most famous tattoos is the word “PEEP” on his left arm. This is, of course, his rap name under which all of his music was released. In addition to this being his moniker, it was also a nickname given to Peep by his mother when he was a child. Another of Peep’s most iconic tattoos is the word “CryBaby” tatted over his right eyebrow. Peep said he got this because he often complained a lot when he was young. The tattoo also references his third mixtape, CryBaby, which was released in June 2016.

Peep also had another one of his mixtape titles tattooed on his body. He got “HELLBOY” inked on his neck after his first mixtape of the same name, released in 2016. This mixtape was his first full-length release and led to his rise in popularity as an artist. Peep also enjoyed the comic book Hell and its character, Hellboy. Additionally, the rapper had the words “Get Cake Die Young” tattooed on his forehead. In a video shoot for GQ, Peep joked that he woke up one morning and found this tattoo on his face. He claimed to have no idea who gave him the tattoo or where he got it from.

Lil Peep Loved Halloween

However, one that Peep did intentionally get was his birth date, “11-1,” tattooed on his stomach. He also has many other Halloween-themed tattoos referencing his birthday, including a jack-o-lantern and bats. He also received a centipede on his left arm. Regarding this tattoo, he stated, “I hate these centipedes, and they seem to find me and bother me every time. So, I figured to get one tattooed on me”.

Family & Personal Tattoos

Peep had the initials “LKW” and the date “10-27” for his mother, Liza Womack, tattooed on his arm. This was his first tattoo at age 14, and he got it on his mother’s birthday as a present to her. He stated that this was the first thing he decided to get inked because he did not want her to be mad at him for getting a tattoo. Peep also got the Simpsons character Lisa Simpson screaming with the word “Mom” above it on his neck for his mother. He said this represented his relationship with his mother. “Whenever something is going wrong in my life, I call my mom. I stress her the f*ck out.” In addition to familial tattoos for his mom, Peep also got a drawing of his pet dog, Meep, along with the dog’s name on his lower left leg. He said he bought the dog with his ex-girlfriend, and Meep was like a son to him.

He tatted the Pink Panther cartoon character on his neck while visiting Venice with his friends. He shared he got so bored during the trip that he decided to go to a random tattoo shop, which had a pink interior, and thus inspired him to get the Pink Panther tattooed on his neck. Peep also tattooed the Anarchy logo on his left cheek because his followers were trying to look like him, and he wanted to stand out. These were personal to Peep and show the distinctive and eccentric style that separated him from many of his contemporaries.

Peep’s Favorite & Final Tattoos

Peep stated that the “Crying Mickey Mouse” on his arm was his favorite out of all his tattoos. It resembles a low-quality depiction of the Disney character with “Mood” written beneath it. Peep stated this was his favorite tattoo because it described his low-quality mood with a low-quality tattoo. There was also a broken heart beneath his eye. This was Peep’s first face tattoo, and he said it inspired him to get motivated to make more music because now, he couldn’t get a regular job. Another of Peep’s favorites was a scorpion tattoo on the back of his neck, as his zodiac sign was Scorpio.

An apparent favorite seemed to be a tattoo of a drawing by Ed Hardy on his head. Hardy is a world-renowned tattoo artist who transitioned his art to the world of fashion. The drawing on Peep’s head was done by Hardy for an exhibition at Dean Dennis’ tattoo studio. After he got the ink, Peep posted it on his Instagram with the caption, “My new head tat OG hardy.” In another post, he also uploaded a tattoo of a tribal design on his arm. Peep got this one to cover up his ex-girlfriend Layla’s name. “Lil peep brought tribal back and covered up his ex-girlfriends name cuz why the f*ck did I do that lol,” he wrote.

Final Tattoo

Many of his fans nicknamed Peep’s final ink the “BFF Rice” tattoo. This was done in November 2017, just three days before his death. The rapper and his best friend Jody got this matching tattoo on their right arms. It’s a takeout box with chopsticks inside with supposed Japanese Kanji characters on it. However, the characters are difficult to translate. Though the tattoo is somewhat poorly done, it has become iconic to many fans of the late rapper, as it was his last before his tragic passing.

Rappers With Signature Rap Snacks Flavors

Rap Snacks was formed by James Lindsay, a self-proclaimed “snack food connoisseur” who wanted to mix his love for food and Hip-Hop culture. With the help of family and friends, Lindsay began with the company with $40,000, and after meeting with distributors, he sold 800 cases of Rap Snacks within two hours. Rap Snacks laid low for many years due to issues with producers and the size of its bags. However, Complex reports in 2007, Romeo Miller purchased Rap Snacks from Lindsay, and the brand has grown significantly within the past few years into a $30 million business. Let’s take a look at rappers who have been featured with their own Rap Snacks flavor. This isn’t a comprehensive list, but here are a few noteworthy names.

Migos & Lil Durk

The Atlanta rap group, Migos, has four Rap Snacks flavors. All of their flavors include “a dab of ranch” in reference to the dance move popularized by the Migos in their song “Look at my Dab.” The Migos Rap Snacks flavors include “Bar-B-Quin’ with My Honey with a Dab of Ranch” chips, “Sour Cream with a Dab of Ranch” chips, “White Cheddar with a Dab of Ranch” popcorn, and “White Cheddar with a Dab of Ranch” cheese puffs. Lil Durk currently has four Rap Snacks flavors. They include “Durkio’s Hot Puffin Fries,” “Durkio’s Flames Hot Crunchables,” “Durkio’s Hot Puffin Fries with Ranch,” and “Buttermilk Ranch Oowee Wavy” chips.

Lil Baby

Lil Baby has six Rap Snacks flavors of his own. Many of Lil Baby’s flavors include various tastes from separate chips, described as “All In.” The flavors include “All In Nocho Nachos” which includes salt and vinegar, BBQ, onion, garlic, and nacho cheese flavors; “All In Cheese Popcorn,” which has salt and vinegar, BBQ, onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper flavors; “Bar-B-Quin’ with my Honey Heat” chips; “All In Potato Chips” which includes salt and vinegar, BBQ, onion, and garlic flavors; “Cheddar Cheese and Sour Cream” chips; and “All In Hot Potato Chips” which includes salt and vinegar, BBQ, onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper flavors. Lil Baby is also the face of the Rap Snacks line of Oowee lemonade drinks.

Moneybagg Yo, Nicki Minaj, & Rick Ross

Moneybagg Yo boasts four Rap Snacks flavors. All of Moneybagg Yo’s snacks are of the hot variety. They include “Heat vs. Hot” gourmet popcorn, “Heat vs. Hot” potato chips, “Dill Pickle Jalapeno” potato chips, and “Hot Rings.” Nicki Minaj’s flavors are truffle style in reference to her hit song featuring Lil Wayne and Drake, “Truffle Butter.” They include “Sour Cream and Ranch Truffle” potato chips, “Bar-B-Quin’ with my Honey” truffle potato chips, and “Salt and Vinegar Truffle” potato chips. Meanwhile, Rick Ross has three flavors, as well. Rap Snacks proves another food-related business venture for The Boss as he also owns many WingStop and Cheddar’s locations. Ross’ Rap Snacks flavors include “Sweet Chili Lemon Pepper” gourmet popcorn, “Rozay Cheddar Oowee Wavy” potato chips, and “Sweet Chili Lemon Pepper” potato chips.

Romeo Miller

As aforementioned, Romeo Miller, the son of Hip-Hop legend Master P, reportedly purchased the company in 2007. Miller has had various disputes with his father about Rap Snacks, as he stated that Master P withheld the money he made with the company for fifteen years. In 2020, Miller said he had finally been paid his money for his earnings and endorsements. He was one of the first rappers featured on Rap Snacks’ bags, and his signature flavor is “Bar-B-Quin’ with my Honey” potato chips.

Discontinued Flavors

Both Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty and New Jersey artist Fetty Wap once had Rap Snacks items which have since been discontinued. It is uncertain why their flavors have been canceled, yet both rappers can say their face was on a Rap Snacks bag. Lil Yachty’s and Fetty Wap’s Rap Snacks can be found online on other sites. Each rapper had only one signature flavor made. Yachty’s was called “Oowee Hot Cheese Fries,” while Fetty had “Honey Jalapeno.”

Rap Snacks Icons

Rap Snacks also has a series of flavors for “icons” of Hip-Hop. Snoop Dogg is a legendary hip-hop artist with Rap Snacks Icon flavors. These include “Cheddar BBQ Nocho Nachos,” “O.G. Bar-B-Que Cheddar Puffs,” and “O.G. Bar-B-Que Cheddar” potato chips. The late legendary New York Hip-Hop artist Notorious B.I.G. also has one, as well. Biggie’s signature flavor is “Honey Jalapeno” potato chips. Master P has “Bar-B-Quin’ with my Honey” cheese puffs and “Honey BBQ Oowee Wavy” potato chips. Additionally, P also has a “Creamy Chicken Gumbo” ramen noodle flavor. Boosie Badazz also has two ‘Icon’ chip flavors. His signatures are “Louisiana Heat Wavy” chips and “Louisiana Heat” cheese puffs. Boosie also has a “Louisiana Heat Hot & Spicy Chicken” ramen flavor. E-40, too, has his own Rap Snacks ramen flavor: “Beef Prime Rib.”

John Singleton Movies He Directed, Ranked

As a cinephile, you may have encountered multiple films, but none quite as remarkable as that of John Singleton. This African-American director, producer, and screenwriter made an impression on Hollywood and movie lovers worldwide. Singleton co-conceived the FX drug drama Snowfall to immense critical acclaim. He also helmed individual Billions, Empire, and American Crime Story episodes. Additionally, throughout his career, Singleton directed a total of nine films.

Mourning broke out among filmgoers in April 2019 with the passing of the acclaimed filmmaker. When he was 24, Singleton had already achieved a great honor—a nomination for Best Director at the Academy Awards in 1991. It made him the youngest person ever nominated for the award. He truly left an indelible mark on cinema. From his early endeavors to his ultimate works, we’ll examine Singleton’s career and provide an understanding of what makes each feature film a must-see—or a pass. If you are a devoted Singleton enthusiast or just exploring your next picks for movie evenings, we’ve got you taken care of.

9. Abduction (2011)

Stepping out of his wheelhouse, Singleton created a conspiracy story. Yet, the outcome was far from what he had anticipated. Taylor Lautner, famed for his Twilight saga, plays Nathan Hapner, a youth with an uncomfortable suspicion that he is living someone else’s life. Unfortunately, many critics deemed the screenplay unacceptable, and Singleton himself didn’t even craft it.

8. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

An ex-cop, Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), moves from Los Angeles to Miami for a fresh start. He soon immerses himself in the world of street racing, becoming friends with Tej (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) and Suki (Devon Aoki). But his days suddenly turn when the FBI captures him, demanding he enters a deal. Partnering with Roman Pearce (Tyrese), Brian embarks on the dangerous task of bringing down a notorious drug lord.

7. Poetic Justice (1993)

In the sorrowful aftermath of her boyfriend’s murder, Justice, a hairdresser (Janet Jackson), uses poetry to cope with her grief. Stranded without her car, she and her friend Iesha (Regina King)—along with Iesha’s postal worker boyfriend Chicago (Joe Torry) and his colleague Lucky (Tupac Shakur)—travel to Oakland to attend a convention. Justice must confront the idea of opening her heart again when she finds herself drawn to Lucky. Raw and captivating, Poetic Justice gives us a unique insight into a dilemma that often goes unseen. John Singleton brings together violence, humor, anger, romance, and poetry in one remarkable package.

6. Higher Learning (1994)

Stylish and clever, Singleton artfully wove together the multitude of social strata within college campuses, showcasing their complex blend of intertwining desire for integration and separatism. Malik, disregarding academics, hopes to utilize his sports expertise to survive college. But Fudge, who has an extended stay at the university, befriends Malik and pushes him to consider life from alternate perspectives. Laurence Fishburne stars as Professor Phipps—a strict educator wishing for Malik’s academic achievement. Tyra Banks also appears in her role as Deja, Malik’s girlfriend.

Ice Cube was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his act as Fudge. Fishburne was also honored with the same recognition. Veteran film critic Roger Ebert applauded Singleton’s eye for detail.

5. Four Brothers (2005)

Four Brothers experienced success at the box office, grossing roughly $92 million with a budget of only $30 million. Additionally, critical reception praised the chemistry shared between the four leading stars. The movie was captivated by ultra-violent scenes that generated vigilantism and meandered through multiple underdeveloped themes. In the film, the brothers took a few moments to evoke nostalgia, then quickly launched into a fervent quest for vengeance. Although prospects for a sequel were originally in the works, ultimately, nothing materialized.

4. Shaft (2000)

John Shaft is a determined New York City detective played by Samuel L. Jackson. Shaft sets out to seek justice for the racially motivated murder of Walter Wade Jr., son of a powerful real estate magnate. In true Singleton fashion, there is more to Shaft than simply a murder investigation. It serves as an indictment of the inequities of society’s legal system, which too often favors the privileged few. The amazing cast, including Vanessa Williams, Jeffrey Wright, Toni Collette, and Mekhi Phifer, brings the story to life.

3. Baby Boy (2001)

In 2001, Baby Boy brought a compelling look at Jody’s (Tyrese Gibson) journey as he grappled with becoming an adult. Singleton insisted on realism instead of the hollow promises politicians and newsmakers often turn to in order to avoid unrest. Rather than following clichés about the life of a 20-year-old African American, Singleton crafted a sensitive and perceptive interpretation that subverted expectations.

2. Rosewood (1997)

The town of Rosewood, Florida, was the tragic setting for an incident in the early 1920s. Racial tensions had been reaching a fever pitch, and the town’s African American population became the target of white supremacists from a nearby area. Suspecting that a Black man had assaulted a white woman, they took swift and brutal action by burning Rosewood to the ground.  Director John Singleton captures this inhumanity in his film, Rosewood, packing an emotional punch and delivering a powerful message about racial violence. With an all-star cast boasting Ving Rhames, Jon Voight, and Don Cheadle, the movie is a tour de force that leaves audiences shaken by its raw intensity.

1. Boyz N The Hood (1991)

Well-crafted Boyz N the Hood provides an unrivaled glimpse into the lives of a group of friends coming of age in a marginalized community. With its soaring fluency and dramatic shooting, it’s a vivid portrait of life among violence—where people are accustomed to the sound of gunshots echoing in the air and helicopters hovering above. Acclaimed for its emotive direction and screenplay, it earned Singleton two Academy Award nominations. One was for Best Director and the other for Best Original Screenplay.

Why is Tay-K Serving 55 years To Life in Prison?

Tay-K is best known for his hit song “The Race,” which reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Later, the track was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The song details Tay-K’s evasion from the police after he was wanted for murder and robbery charges. He was reportedly on the run from the police for three months before he was captured by U.S. marshals on June 30, 2017, the same day “The Race” was released.

After his arrest, many fans took to social media to support the Texas rapper. This led to the release of his mixtape Santana’s World in July 2017. Despite the mixtape receiving many positive reviews, which led to Tay-K gaining even more fame, he remains incarcerated. Let’s look at the events that led to Tay K’s plight and the details behind his 55 years to life sentencing.

Events Leading to Eventual Arrest

In 2017, Tay-K was on the run for allegedly participating in the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker during a botched robbery. Walker reportedly put his hands up to surrender but was killed. The robbery was allegedly drug-related, according to authorities. Tay-K was said to be one of six people who participated in the crime. The rapper was 16 years old at the time. In March 2017, Tay-K cut off his house arrest ankle monitor and went on the run for three months.

On March 26, 2017, Tay tweeted, “F*ck dis house arrest sh*t f*ck 12 they gn hav 2 catch me on hood.” It was during this time that he recorded “The Race.” While on the run, Tay-K also allegedly killed a 23-year-old man during a robbery in San Antonio. He was also accused of assaulting a 65-year-old man during a robbery in Arlington. He was charged for both incidents, but they are still pending.

Tay-K Goes to Trial

It was in 2019 that Tay-K was sentenced for the charges that led to his initial arrest. While on trial, Tay’s defense attorney, Jeff Kearney, noted his musical ability and young age as reasons for leniency. Kearney reportedly stated, “He has a chance. Let’s not throw him away. He is worthy of redemption.” The prosecution’s rebuttal was Tay K’s brash behavior while in and out of custody. They argued that he enjoyed the fame he received after killing Walker and evading the police. The prosecution also used Tay K’s lyrics in “The Race” against him, as the song allegedly showed his lack of remorse. The prosecution also showed the cover of Tay K’s 2017 EP #LivingLikeLarry, which featured him sitting on a kitchen counter with a gun.

The Defense Makes A Case

Defense attorneys also argued that Tay-K was unarmed during the robbery. They further stated he didn’t know anyone would be killed. Tay did not pull the trigger during the killing; however, he did steal money and drugs from Walker’s home. Because of this, Tay was found not guilty of capital murder, which carried a mandatory 40-year prison sentence. Yet he was indicted on other charges.
Tay-K pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of murder, one count of aggravated robbery for the shooting, and one count of robbery of another man.

He also pleaded guilty to two additional counts of aggravated robbery related to other victims of the home invasion that led to Ethan Walker’s death. Tay was sentenced to 30 years for one of the robbery counts. Additionally, he received 13 years on each of the other two in July 2019. He was also ordered to pay $21,000 in fines. Tay K is currently serving 55 years to life for the murder charge. He is serving the other charges concurrently, or simultaneously.

Tay-K’s Pleas for a Second Chance

In January 2023, Tay-K took to Twitter to ask for a second chance at adulthood. He disagreed with the court’s decision to try him as an adult and believed that his sentence was a product of racial bias within the justice system. Tay tweeted, “I bet if I was a lil white kid they wouldn’t have gave me no 55 years for a crime I was alleged to play the most insignificant role in when I was 16….they woulda rightfully argued that my mind wasn’t fully developed and gave me rehabilitation and a 2nd (1st) chance at adulthood.”

Tay-K also noted that one of his accomplices was a 16-year-old white girl who was only sentenced to 10 years of probation. “One of my codefendants was a white girl who was 16 jus like me,” he wrote. “They didn’t certify her as an adult but they certified me n pimp as adults. pimp got 30, I got 55, she ended up getting 10 years of probation without no deal…that girl @ home rn.” Despite Tay-K’s pleas, it is uncertain if the young rapper will soon see freedom. He is also still awaiting trial in San Antonio for the alleged murder while on the run.

Young Thug Memes That Fit The Bill

Young Thug memes have the peculiar ability to blend well with various moods. Young Thug is a personification of whatever the mind wishes to conjure up (and that’s a compliment). The “Digits” rapper is not exactly in his best season, albeit talent is always a different subject. His ongoing legal troubles provoke intellectual topics, soaring above the little corners societies have flung rap into. Attention begets memes, and Thugger’s pre-trial drama confirms this theory. The zoom call incident reproduced itself at warp speed. Memes and GIFs of the controversial video (showing a naked man dancing) stormed the global community. The #freethugger trend also veered into frolicsome dimensions as the fans await news of the rapper’s legal fate. It can be inferred, therefore, that when people play around with Thugger memes, they tactfully redefine “real life.”

The versatility of Young Thug’s career functions as an incentive for memes—even the ones validated by forefront fans. Jerrika Karlae, Thugger’s ex-lover, customized an analogy with a detail of their then-routine, as it were. She reminded fans of the visual similarity between Slime Season 3 cover art and Netflix’s Bird Box. Predominantly, both works featured the gesture of blindfolding, one as aesthetics and one as a life jacket. The crux, in brief, was that the mixtape cover had translated into a movie meme overnight. To top it all, she seized the opportunity to advertise their love life. Who are we to complain? Thugger memes are always in the spotlight for fated reasons…

Young Thug A Paintings

Ingenious things come in unexpected packages, and that’s what we adore about @youngthugaspaintings. Created in the Netherlands, the aforementioned is an IG gallery of Young Thug pictures juxtaposed with classical paintings. The originator had been assigned a photographic project in school, and the nature of submission had been highly liberal. For Hajar Benjida, it wasn’t more about recognizing an opportunity than going with the flow. She extended the project to Instagram in a refusal to cage it in the subjective boxes of her teachers. The decision paid off, as the meme account worked its way to the Miami Art Week as an exhibit. Viral memes needn’t be humorous, and Hajar Benjida has categorically proven that point.

Thugger Releases “Harambe”

Another case study is Harambe: while people turn songs into memes, Young Thug turns memes into songs. The purpose of the title is debatable; however, its connection to the 2016 gorilla incident is clearly perceivable. All we’re certain of is that Thugger projected a deliberate nuance of fury in the lyrics. That said, we’re not all on the same page regarding the actual titular message. Be that as it may, it stands tall among the greatest memes—and songs—of all time. Need we state that it checked these two boxes in a single year?! Despite not technically being a Thugger meme, “Harambe” thrives. It even went on to further deify the Georgian rapper.

No, My Name Is Jeffery

Young Thug’s rhythm genius is a truism. All the more, he exceeds the phonology of rap by being rhythmic about his flamboyance as well! His name change to “No, My Name is Jeffery” was not his only joker card. That year, he shared his name with his mixtape, the cover of which bred a literal meme-making business. He was attired in an artfully epicene manner to either defy gender policing or provoke a buzz. The goal behind the style was immaterial, as fans wasted no time crafting the memes, regardless.

One rib-tickling fan transformed the cover to Beyoncé’s Lemonade by adapting a line in “Hold Up.” The modified line read: “What a wicked way to treat the Thug that loves you.” The meme even altered the actual image by making Young Thug hold the exact baseball bat Beyoncé held. Yes, “exact” also implies the bat bore the same label as Beyoncé’s. Many more Jeffery memes of similar quality emerged that year, and each was indeed a scream.

Young Thug Meme: Cloak-And-Dagger

“Young Thug and Lil Durk Troubleshooting” is not a category but a single meme. It’s a picture of Young Thug creasing his forehead and Lil Durk dilating his eyes. It boasts three contradictory goss phases, with the 2021 reveal coming across as the most reliable. First, Alex Tumay based believable conjectures on Thugger’s Pro Tools Engineering skills. Next, a post “resurrected” the meme, collocating it with a “Laugh Now Cry Later” freeze-frame of Durk. Durk played along with the Twitter hint by declaring Thugger had shown him $20M. Finally, in 2021, Thugger got candid with us, but within limits! His coaxed promise to Durk was to conceal the meme’s “definitely non-ProTools” story. Whoops—not even this interview could make him that guy. Young Thug is good at keeping secrets, but his memes do not follow suit!
