Offset has announced the return of his annual Toys 4 The Nawf Christmas, which will take place this Saturday (December 2). For the second year, Offset will partner with the Ann Cephus Family Fund Corporation to provide toys and support to families in the Atlanta ara.

Last year, at the inaugural Toys 4 The Nawf, Offset, and the Ann Cephus Family Fund Corporation were able to provide support to 248 local families, including approximately 500 children. They were able to achieve this with the help of community volunteers, as well as support from local organizations like the Lawrenceville Boys & Girls Club, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

“We had a great turnout last year, and I’m hoping for an even better one this year,” said Offset in a statement. “I’ve been so blessed this year, I’m excited to bless others. That’s the reason for the season.”

This year, Offset and Toys 4 The Nawf want to significantly increase their impact. They plan to double the number of families served last year, with the goal to support 500 to 600 families and 1,000 children. The crew also aims to provide winter coats to families and children in need, along with wellness checks offering immunizations and blood pressure checks.

Also during the event, barber services will be provided for children, and there will also be an educational portion for the Internet Affordable Connectivity Program, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of Internet access for all.

This year’s Toys 4 The Nawf event will feature a Christmas Carnival Theme, offering an assortment of carnival snacks and drinks. Attendees and volunteers can register here.

Offset Says Tyler, the Creator Inspired Him to Go Solo

Offset Says Tyler, the Creator Inspired Him to Go Solo

Offset delves into his upcoming solo album, Set It Off, and reveals an unexpected source of inspiration for his solo journey in a recent interview with GQ.

During the conversation, Offset revealed he was inspired by Tyler, the Creator, to go solo.

“It was a year ago, at the Roc Nation Brunch, and I was telling [Tyler] my vision of being a standout artist and a solo artist and reinventing myself,” Offset said. “I was glorifying him, telling him, ‘I respect how you stay in character [for each album].’ He was like, ‘You should do it, too.

“N-–as ain’t going to f—k with it at first, but n—as never f—k with the good s—t first. They always sleep on it, and then you show them throughout the process.’”

Offset released his latest album, SET IT OFF, this past October. This 21-track project is a deeply personal endeavor for Offset, serving as a form of healing for himself and a heartfelt message to his devoted fans and supporters.

SET IT OFF boasts a star-studded guest list, including Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Mango Foo, Latto, Young Nudy, and Chlöe. The album promises diverse sounds and lyrical depth, reflecting Offset’s growth and experiences.

Offset dropped the official music video for “SAY MY GRACE” featuring Travis Scott to celebrate the album’s launch. The visually captivating video was filmed in Pattaya, Thailand, at The Sanctuary of Truth Museum, Nong Noch Botanical Gardens, and the Pattaya Floating Market earlier this year. Directed by Maya Table and executive produced by Offset and SheShe Pendleton, the video offers a cinematic and artistic visual experience.

Leading up to the album release, Offset treated fans to tracks like “JEALOUSY” featuring Cardi B and “FAN.” “JEALOUSY” quickly gained popularity on major hip-hop playlists across digital streaming platforms, amassing over 76 million combined global streams. The song’s accompanying video, inspired by the 2001 film Baby Boy, has garnered over 19 million views.

Offset & Don Toliver Showed That They’re ‘Worth It’ With A Scorching Performance On ‘Fallon’

There are plenty of things “Say My Grace” rapper Offset has to be thankful for, including his beautiful children, wife and fellow entertainer Cardi B, and his hot career. To show his gratitude for his fans’ unwavering support of his latest album, Set It Off, Offset took a trip down to the studios of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

While there, he was sure to bring friend and collaborator Don Toliver to deliver a scorching performance of their track “Worth It.” Toliver and Offset are known for their smooth dance moves, so neither is held back as they work the performance space. To bring some warmth to the otherwise cold New York City Thanksgiving Day holiday (November 23), the pair used a tropical background to warm up the chilly ambiance.

Last month, during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Offset revealed that in order to push himself out of his creative slump with his album, he thought back on the support he had from his late Migos member, Takeoff.

“Even on my own journey, I still feel his presence and his energy like, bro, ‘We got to go hard. We got to win. We got to win. This ain’t the end of it. We got to win.’ So that’s another thing that pushed me through is my boy, Take[off], man. He didn’t care that he didn’t care about the numbers, nothing. He like, ‘Bro, y’all’s sh*t hard.’ He’s just very supportive in that. I just keep that in the back of my mind and just keep pushing,” said Offset.

Cardi B & Offset Call Police On “Journalist” Trying To Record Their Home

Cardi B and Offset have each other’s back for everything: their careers, their personal lives, their growing family, and their safety and security. Moreover, the two recently faced a scary situation around Thursday (November 23) near their Sandy Springs, Atlanta home that resulted in them calling the police. An as-of-press-time unidentified man walked near their property and tried to film it, and security guards outside their home told him to vacate the premises. The man, though, claimed to be a journalist. One security guard even tried to block his camera with his hand so he couldn’t get any more footage.

Furthermore, the man continued his staunch defense, claiming that he’s a journalist with First Amendment rights to “walk down the street and record” Cardi B and Offset’s home. Not only that, but he threatened a police officer with looking through his “public record” given his profession and gathering his personal information. Eventually, the dynamic music duo‘s security called local law enforcement after the man refused to stop trying to record or get closer to the property. When they arrived, the still unidentified “journalist” went into police custody, and they removed him from the surrounding area.

Cardi B & Offset’s Security Confront “Journalist”: Watch

While this couple has always faced a pretty rocky road throughout their life, it’s moments like these that might put things in perspective for them in terms of how much they need to be ready to protect one another. After all, Cardi B and Offset could’ve encountered this person on their doorstep, and who knows what could’ve happened then? As of writing this article, we don’t know whether this “journalist” will face charges, spend time in the slammer, or what the nature of his repercussions- if any- will be. Perhaps the couple won’t pursue legal action, and the situation can hopefully de-escalate with more knowledge and context for how their security can handle these situations next time.

Meanwhile, Bardi and ‘Set are still hard at work on new music, and have helped each other a lot throughout this process, it seems. Overall, even though the former is still yet to drop her sophomore release, hopefully that changes very soon- and will likely be the case. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope that no press figure without the proper clearance scares them in their Atlanta home. Cardi B Shows Off Gym Outfit In New Video

Cardi B re-entered the minds of many fans last week. After earlier this year telling fans that her highly anticipated new album wasn’t coming out until 2024, she might still be dropping something before this year is out. “I feel like I gotta talk my s*** a little bit,” she said in a Twitter space earlier this month. While that isn’t a concrete confirmation of any kind, it’s clear that Cardi at least has something on her mind and could release a new song addressing it. Many fans think she’s particularly upset about having her work ethic questioned online after so much time without a new album.

Today, she’s back in the news after sharing a new video online of her gym fit. She shared a short clip to her Instagram story earlier today that seems to be a sponsored post. She shows off the leggings that she wears to the gym while pointing out where fans can get them in the attached link. In the comments of a repost of the video fans react to it. Some point out that it would only look good from the right angle, or that it’s impractical for working out, others simply give Cardi credit for how good she looks. Check out the video and fan reactions to it below.

Cardi B’s Gym Look

Despite seeming to tease new music, Cardi also said in an Instagram live a few days later that she was taking a hiatus from music. Or at least that’s what fans thought she said before she took to Twitter a few days later to clarify. She told everyone that she’s more focused on staying away from social media as much as possible, not taking a break from writing and recording music.

Over the weekend, GQ announced their honorees for “Men Of The Year.” While Cardi’s husband Offset wasn’t included, she made sure to still hype him up on Twitter after the event. Offset Was Reportedly Named In A Battery Lawsuit For A 2021 Incident With Security During ComplexCon

So far, 2023 belongs to “Say My Grace” rapper Offset. Throughout the year, he’s made a surprise appearance on Amazon Music Live, secured a McDonald’s signature meal collaboration alongside his wife, Cardi B, and dropped his highly anticipated sophomore album Set It Off. Unfortunately, he’s also endured some hardships: the ultimately passing of his former group mate, Takeoff, an intense legal battle with his former record label, and now there could be another court showdown.

According to Rolling Stone, Offset has reportedly been named in a lawsuit stemming from an incident with security during ComplexCon 2021. Paperwork obtained by the platform alleges that Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus), his musical associate YRN Murk (real name Demetrius Deandre Carter), and one unnamed individual assaulted an attendee during the event (held on November 7, 2021).

The plaintiff, Daveon Clark, alleged that Carter initiated the melee after event staff purportedly deterred Carter from entering a roped-off space due to capacity limitation. Clark went on to say that he was forced to engage in a physical exchange out of self-defense, which Cephus allegedly joined in. Attendees captured video of the alleged incident.

In the filing, it notes, “During this altercation, CSC security guards failed to prevent the attack and instead exacerbated plaintiff’s position by restraining him, allowing defendants Offset and YRN Murk to continue their physical attacks while plaintiff was prevented from protecting himself,”

Clark is seeking real and punitive damages due to the physical and emotional damages the alleged incident caused.
