Kanye West Enlists North, Chicago And Yuno Miles For “Bomb” Music Video

Kanye West has redefined what expectations of a great artist can be. He’s created some of the most indelible hip hop albums of all time. And yet, due to the staggering lack of quality in his recent output, he’s increasingly being relegated to a curio. He flashes greatness on occasion, but other times, it can be hard to tell if he’s messing with his fans. This is the guy who put out “Lift Yourself,” after all. Kanye West continued to confound expectations on November 27. The rapper dropped a music video for the song “Bomb.” He enlisted Yuno Miles, as well as his own children, North and Chicago West.

“Bomb” is an absurd song. The instrumental is choppy and trap influenced, but in a predictably silly manner. Those familiar with Yuno Miles know the rapper likes to border on parody with his rhymes, and he does so here with bars about “fritos” and “tacos.” North and Chicago West take the assignment more seriously. They continue the trend of rappers having their children hop on records and deliver bars that are, frankly, not very good. It sounds like Kanye West is taking his kids to work on this one. North has shown a propensity for rapping in the past, as evidenced by her appearances on the VULTURES 1 track “Once Again.”

Kanye West Lets His Children Take Center Stage

The music video focuses on North and Chicago. Kanye West’s kids drive around the desert alongside Yuno Miles. They appear to be in a race of some sort, against an assortment of colorful creatures who drive other cars. It all feels very indebted to the pod racing scene from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999). There’s something to be said for the charm and the gimmick of seeing children have fun with their dad on record. The problem is, Kanye West is nowhere on “Bomb.”

The controversial rapper doesn’t spit a verse on the song. Yuno, North and Chicago drop struggle bars, but Kanye West decides to stay on the production side of things. We can’t say it really pays off. The beat for “Bomb” is not particularly special. It feels cut from the same cloth as the VULTURES 1 and 2 sessions, which is not a ringing endorsement of quality. Kanye West is working on the upcoming album BULLY. Let’s hope he takes things a bit more seriously on that one.

North West Channels Tyler, The Creator & HER For Halloween

During a chat with her mother Kim Kardashian for Interview magazine’s Fall 2024 cover story, North West revealed that she had big plans for Halloween. The 11-year-old expressed interest in dressing up as Tyler, The Creator, a mermaid, Nicki Minaj, and more. “I’m going to be a sailor pirate and a mermaid with my two besties. Shout out to them. And I’m going to be Kai [Cenat] and Tyla. I’m going to be Nicki Minaj, and then I’m going to be Princess Peach and Princess Daisy with Chi,” she explained.

“That’s my month of planning,” her mom responded. Now, it looks like all of Kim’s hard work has paid off, as North has finally unveiled at least some of her costumes. In one clip, she’s seen replicating Tyler’s IGOR character. In another, she channels H.E.R. during her surprise appearance at Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.

From the looks of things, North is having a blast this Halloween, and couldn’t be prouder of her creative costumes. While social media users are certainly impressed, they aren’t necessarily surprised by her choices. North has made it clear that she’s a huge Tyler, The Creator fan, and even attended his CHROMAKOPIA listening party in Los Angeles earlier this month. She shared some fun footage from the event featuring her mom Kim, who seemed slightly less enthused to attend.

North isn’t the only member of her family to debut an impressive costume recently, however. Earlier this week, her father Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori also dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. She stepped out with short blonde hair and a huge white fur jacket, accompanied by Ye. Her uncle Rob Kardashian’s daughter Dream additionally debuted her Kobe Bryant costume today. North West Is Filled With Glee At Tyler, The Creator’s Listening Event For “Chromakopia”: Watch

On an early Monday morning, fans awoke to a brand-new album from Tyler, The Creator. Breaking his stingy album cycle, the California visionary dropped off his eighth studio effort CHROMAKOPIA. So far, the reception has been astounding, as his loyal fanbase has been labeling it as a “masterpiece.” It will take some time for everyone to digest it and rank it amongst the rest of his discography. Overall, though, the project definitely continues his incredible run since 2017’s Flower Boy. Tyler is taking the album on tour early next year, but he treated a massive and rambunctious crowd to a listening event last night.

The atmosphere at the arena in Los Angeles looked to be amazing, as fans have been sharing their experience from it. One of those supporters was North West, as she posted a cute and goofy video to social media expressing her excitement for CHROMAKOPIA. Kim Kardashian was there alongside her eager teenage daughter, as she hilariously came across as a mom who promised to take her kid to a concert she had no interest in. Throughout the clip, North West repeats the album’s title over and over again while Kim acts fake excited while on camera.

At the end of the day, as long as the kids have fun, that’s all that matters. North West showing her love for Tyler is nothing new. Since embarking on her own musical journey, she has borrowed a lot from the eclectic multi-hyphenate. Her outfit at the show (overtly large glasses and a nerdy aesthetic) has lots of Tyler inspiration and in interviews such as the one above, she has cited him as one of her favorite artists. With someone as talented as he is, maybe North West will be destined for similar success later on in music.

North West Digs Into Kim Kardashian’s Parenting By Revealing Her Biggest Flaw

Whenever we get insights into the daily lives of massive celebrities, even the smallest and most insignificant details can make us regular folk relate to them just a little bit more. That’s exactly what we got for Interview magazine’s 55th anniversary edition, for which Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West sat down for an interview. Kim was the one mostly interviewing North, and this led to reflect on their family dynamic and their relationship to the media in some pretty curious ways. But one of the funniest parts of the whole thing was when the SKIMS mogul asked the 11-year-old “TALKING” singer the following: “How’s my cooking?” And she fell right into the trap…

“You haven’t cooked for us in a long time. Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago!” North West hilariously responded to Kim Kardashian. However, that wasn’t all that we learned about the Kardashian household. North also explained how she uses an alias when she’s with friends so that they don’t attract unwanted attention from snoopy passerby. “My friends call me that so people don’t know who I am,” she expressed.

“I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like when paparazzi do,” North West answered when Kim Kardashian asked about her experiences with being on camera. “When I just woke up and there’s so much paparazzi, I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m going to sue you.’ If I’m ready, if I’m not tired, if my outfit’s good, I’m like, ‘Okay, I could take a picture.’” Out of all of Kanye West and Kim’s children, North is the one who receives the most media attention. She featured on a couple of Ye songs, she’s their first child, and her social media presence developed quickly.

Meanwhile, despite everything going on in their individual lives, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian still prioritize family in their coparenting journey. It hasn’t been easy, and you probably already know the saga of how ugly things turned out. Still, it at least seems like the kids have a positive bond with both. Hopefully we get to see more of North West and her siblings hilariously comment on their parents and grapple with the complicated nature of their celebrity lives and family dynamics.

Kanye West Sings “Only One” To North In Wholesome China Concert Moment

Kanye West’s China concert series has been notable for many reasons, whether it’s new teased tracks or big announcements. But it also held some wholesome West family moments, even amid all the controversy and backlash that Ye has received over the years. During one part of his second show in the country this year, he sang his 2014 track “Only One” to its inspiration: his daughter North West. Not only was it a heartfelt and touching moment with one of the Chicago artist’s most gorgeous cuts ever, but it also symbolized the growth of their relationship, as North is now much older and a musical artist in her own right on a couple of her dad’s songs.

Speaking of North’s dad’s songs, it looks like we will get a lot more records from him very soon. Kanye West also announced his upcoming solo album BULLY at this China show, even previewing a new track called “Beauty And The Beast.” Of course, we wouldn’t get our hopes up too much: Yeezy fans have been in this boat before. Whether it’s Yandhi, Good A** Job, or any other of the various scrapped projects over the years, we won’t believe these announcements until they manifest.

What’s more is that this adds to more recent speculation about Kanye West’s current and past moves. For example, Consequence recently re-sparked speculation around how Ye and Kendrick Lamar apparently have a whole album’s worth of unreleased material produced by Madlib. Hardcore fans of the designer know that these rumors began years ago, and yet we have no new collabs to account for them. As such, it will probably remain a hidden hip-hop treasure.

Still, all this conversation around Kanye West’s next moves put the future of his VULTURES collaborative album series with Ty Dolla $ign into question. Ty says that VULTURES 3 is still happening, but considering the shoddy release of its predecessors, some fans would rather not demand it as vehemently as they did before. Regardless of all of that, it’s at least nice to see Ye share these special moments with his family and his fans.

Kanye West Takes North Toy Shopping In South Korea

Kanye West brought his daughter, North, out toy shopping in South Korea after he traveled to the country for his Vultures 2 album listening party on Friday night. In pictures obtained by TMZ, Ye rocked a white hoodie while picking out different toys with his “Talking / Once Again” collaborator. It’s unclear whether it was happening simultaneously, but paparazzi also snapped Bianca Censori out with West’s other children as well.

As for the Vultures 2 listening party, West performed dozens of his most popular hits from throughout his career. In addition to his new collaborations with Ty Dolla Sign, he performed “All Falls Down,” “Diamonds From Sierra Leone,” “Jesus Walks, “Through the Wire,” “Hey Mama, “Heard ‘Em Say,” “Touch the Sky,” “Gold Digger,” “Runaway,” “Blood on the Leaves,” “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1,” and many more songs.

Additionally, while performing “24,” West strangely gave Joe Budden a shout-out. “Jooeeee Budden! God’s not finished,” he sang. Budden responded to the moment while mimicking his singing on social media afterward. “Them Korean n***as was like, ‘what the f**k are you talking about,” he remarked. Budden wasn’t the only celebrity Ye dedicated a song to. For his Graduation classic, “I Wonder,” he brought up Drake and Ian Connor. “This one for Drake. This one for Ian Connor,” he said. Ye dropped Vultures 2 back on August 3. It peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. He and Ty plan on releasing the third album in the trilogy later this year.

North West Sparks Fan Concern After Hanging Out With Streamer Tylil

North West is fresh off yet another feature thanks to VULTURES 2, and wants to hang out with celebrities just as much as her father Ye does. However, this resulted in some controversy when she linked up with popular streamer Tylil for some social media content. Moreover, many fans thought that this was an inappropriate meeting, or were instead concerned with the 11-year-old not hanging out with people that are her age. Still, other social media users pointed out that, not only was La La Anthony there to accompany her, but that North’s security team is probably more than enough to prevent any dangers.

Also, this came as a result of many people not being familiar with Tylil and making unfair assumptions about his character based on this out-of-context situation, which is not what we’re suggesting here. Elsewhere, though, North West also had plenty of fun at Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s recent VULTURES listening party, where we’re sure she saw plenty of famous faces. Sadly, this came at a time in which fans were more preoccupied with Ye’s alleged nitrous addiction. Hopefully we get some more heartening updates soon in that regard.

Nevertheless, North West’s admiration of streamers is no shocker, as Kai Cenat attended her birthday party and responded to the resulting backlash. “Here’s the thing, first things first, bro,” he expressed to “everybody who made [the birthday party] weird.” “I am North’s favorite streamer bro, okay? So, yesterday, all she wanted to do was meet me, bro. That was it. Literally. So, anybody who’s making it weird, like, that’s the weirdest thing ever. We had a great time yesterday. She’s great, bro. She has a good group of friends around her, like, everything was great.”

Meanwhile, North West also popped out to witness Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth concert and, to no one’s surprise, had a blast. As such, it’s no surprise that she continues to link up with a lot of people and is always excited about doing so. Today, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign finally unleashed their eagerly anticipated new album, Vultures 2. The release caught fans off guard, as it arrived after various delays. Initially, it was supposed to drop earlier this year, but it was later pushed back indefinitely. Earlier this week, it was announced that it would drop on August 2, but the announcement was deleted within hours. At that point, supporters weren’t sure what to expect, but they were pleasantly surprised early this morning.

So far, the project has received mixed reviews from listeners. While many are impressed, others are demanding that Ye retire. As reactions continue to roll in, one track from the album that’s stood out is “Bomb.” It features two of Ye’s children, North and Chicago West.

In photos from the outing, Censori is seen with her arms wrapped around North, who didn’t seem too thrilled with all the cameras. For those wondering, she opted to cover up a bit more than usual, sporting a simple white top and some tiny shorts. Ye and North kept it cozy in some oversized outfits.

It seems like they enjoyed the movie, as they stayed for the whole thing. The same can’t be said for Fly Me to the Moon, however, which the couple sat through just about half of last week.
