Flavor Flav Saves The Day By Paying Olympian Veronica Fraley’s Rent

Recently, Flavor Flav decided to lend a helping hand to discus thrower Veronica Fraley, who had more than just her Olympic debut to worry about this week. The 24-year-old Athlete took to Twitter Thursday night to share that she was struggling to pay her rent, despite competing in the most prestigious sporting event in the world the very next day.

“I compete in the Olympic Games TOMORROW and can’t even pay my rent,” the Vanderbilt University student wrote. “My school only sent about 75% of my rent while they pay football players (who haven’t won anything) enough to buy new cars and houses.” Luckily, Flavor Flav caught wind of Fraley’s predicament right away and quickly swooped in to save the day. He replied to her post, offering to pay her rent so she could focus solely on giving her all at the Olympics.

Killer Mike Seemingly Disses Travis Scott Over Grammy Losses On New Album

Killer Mike is an underground legend. The rapper came up as an Outkast protege in the 2000s, before striking gold as one half of Run the Jewels. He doesn’t have hits, per say, but he’s widely praised for his lyrical ability. He’s the sort of artist that wins Grammy Awards, not the sort that tops the Billboard charts. The fact that he did just that during the 2024 Grammys, actually led to controversy. Many fans felt that Mike robbed Travis Scott of a chance to secure his first ever golden statue. This narrative is something that Mike decided to dig back up on his new album.

Songs for Sinners & Saints is an excellent release. Killer Mike does his thing over a batch of soulful beats. The closing track, though, “STILL TALK’N THAT SH*T,” made it clear that he had some bones to pick as a result of the Grammy controversy. He decided to remind Travis Scott, and the rapper’s fanbase, that he’s deserving of taking home hip-hop awards. As far as Killer Mike is concerned, he “cooked” Scott, and will happily do it again. “You gon respect me like a motherf*ckin’ Grammy winner,” he raps. “Like I cooked your favorite rapper like a Granny dinner.” There are no names mentioned, but the Grammy reference makes it clear who Mike has in mind.

Killer Mike Claims That He “Cooked” Travis Scott

Travis Scott has been nominated for ten Grammy Awards throughout his career, and has yet to win. He admitted frustration over this fact during an April appearance on The Shop. “You play football to win a Super Bowl, you play basketball to win championships,” he noted. “It’s what that Grammy used to mean is the idea I hold on to. I love to create music.” Scott’s fanbase was irate over the fact that he lost in three hip-hop categories to Killer Mike. Adin Ross and Kai Cenat ranted about the snub during their respective Twitch streams, and the latter even admitted to not knowing who Killer Mike was.

Cenat’s comments, in particular, sparked a debate within the larger hip-hop community. Older fans felt that Mike was deserving of his three Grammy wins, and younger fans felt like Scott was due. Joe Budden highlighted this divide on his podcast. “Shut up for a change. I’m so sick of these n**gas,” he exclaimed. “We gotta rush behind Killer Mike. Killer Mike won, we gotta let these n**gas know what the f*ck we really think.” Evidently, Killer Mike feels the same way.

JPEGMAFIA Doubles Down On Drake Disses And Mocks OVO Stans

JPEGMAFIA is a professional Drake hater. Well, he’s a professional rapper, producer, and performer, too. But underneath all those, he loves bashing the Toronto superstar. He’s been doing it for almost a decade, and he dished out some of his most scathing Drake bars on his new album. He dropped the phrase “No Drizzy” on the song “New Black History.” He also leaned into the rumor that the rapper has gotten with underage girls on “it’s dark and hell is hot.” OVO fans were obviously unhappy with JPEGMAFIA, but he didn’t back down. Instead, he went back at them on Twitter.

Hours after JPEGMAFIA dropped I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU, he addressed the Drake disses. He made three separate points, and all of them were pretty valid within the parameters that he set. The first one made note of the fact that he’s been ragging on Drake for a while. “1st off. I been dissing that n**ga since 2016,” he wrote. “Them sh*ts was throwaway bars not noteworthy.” Then, JPEGMAFIA turned his attention to fans who threatened him over the insulting bars. He made it very clear he’s going to stand behind what he said, whether it not it upsets certain people. “Second off if anybody got a problem with what i said on this album,” he added. “My tour dates in bio.”

JPEGMAFIA Urged Fans To Stop Defending Drake

The third point was directly at stans, rather than fans. The ones who defend their favorite rapper to the death, despite the fact that disses add up to very little at the end of the day. Peggy said it himself when he described his “No Drizzy” bars as “throwaway.” He clearly has had enough of the OVO stans who feel the need to address the hate that Drake has been getting in 2024. “Third, y’all cant even pay your rent but defending Drake for free,” JPEGMAFIA concluded. “Go outside and be somebody.” Basically, Peggy decided to follow up his Drake disses with some additional digs for the fans.

If it’s any consolation, JPEGMAFIA has been critical of most famous rappers. He regularly cited Kanye West as one of his favorite artists, yet attacked West on social media back in January. He claimed he was more talented than the people that West collaborates with, and made his feelings on the matter known. “Truthfully I don’t give a f*ck about nothing Kanye got going on at this point i just wanted to get paid,” he tweeted. “But its ok im not a rapist or some weirdo incel n**ga so I get why he wouldn’t wanna work with me.” Moral of the story: Nobody is safe from Peggy’s wrath.

T-Pain Checks Rowdy Crowd For Throwing Things Onstage: Watch

In recent months, countless artists have fallen victim to getting hit with random objects onstage, and T-Pain is taking a stand. During a performance in Iowa this week, the hitmaker paused his set to check audience members throwing things at him. He made it clear that he wouldn’t be tolerating the blatant disrespect, despite trying to ignore it.

“As a muthaf**ka that turns 40 this year, I’m not obligated to stay up here while muthaf**kas keep disrespecting me,” he said. “I don’t want to sound like an a*shole, but you wouldn’t stay up here if you just kept getting disrespected like that. That’s just weird.” The majority of the crowd was not the problem in this case and began chanting T-Pain’s name during his rant.

T-Pain Pauses Show To Scold Audience

“I want to keep going, I want to keep having fun. I f**k with the most of y’all. It’s only a few pieces of sh*t out there… I’m not a f**king clown. I’m not gon’ sit up here and get pies thrown in my face and sh*t. I don’t want to leave halfway through, trust me, but I can’t stay up this muthaf**ka getting disrespected,” he then added. “That’s all I’m saying.” Fortunately, it looks like the object-throwing slowed down after this, and he was able to finish the rest of the show unscathed. Reportedly, he performed hits like “All I Do Is Win,” “I’m So Hood,” and more.

Fans can’t blame T-Pain for being fed up, as an unexpected flying object is likely the last thing he wants to deal with onstage. He also handled the situation well, considering that other performers have fired back by hurling objects into the crowd. What do you think of T-Pain checking a crowd in Iowa for throwing stuff at him during his performance? Can you blame him? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Wayne Namedrops Kanye West & Kim Kardashian On New Mike WiLL Made-It & Lil Yachty Collab

Earlier this week, Mike WiLL Made-It unleashed his new track alongside Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty, “High3r.” Already, the song has received a ton of praise from fans, who have taken a liking to Wayne’s verse in particular. In it, he namedrops both Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to make an apparent drug reference. “My plug contact is Kim K/ I call him when I need Ye,” he rhymes.

Social media users are commending Weezy for his creativity here, and looking back on his and Ye’s history. Lil Wayne has always had good things to say about the Yeezy founder, even after he sparked controversy with antisemitic remarks. During an appearance on the All the Smoke podcast last year, for example, he claimed that Ye’s musical talent means that he’ll find success no matter what.

Fans Praise Lil Wayne For New Verse

He’s a genius… What I mean by that is he can stop being Kanye West at any time and start being Kanye East and be the best at that as well,” he explained at the time. “He’s a genius when it comes to music. Whatever route he wanna go, he’s gonna be packing arenas.” While Lil Wayne continues to deliver hits, Ye recently left fans disappointed by not dropping his joint project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 2.

Earlier this week, an announcement on the Yeezy website claimed that the album would be released today. It was deleted hours later, leaving fans wondering whether or not they’d actually get to hear it. Evidently, there’s been yet another change of plans, and it now remains unclear when the album will arrive. What do you think of Mike WiLL Made-It’s new track with Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty? What about Lil Wayne shouting out Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in his verse? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Quavo Threatened With Lawsuit After Allegedly Scamming Vitaly Out Of $50K

Vitaly links up with everybody. The YouTuber has build an entire industry around live streams in which rappers help him catch (and then humiliate) would-be predators. He did it with YG and Lil Pump. Migos superstar Quavo was supposed to be the next rapper to appear on a Vitaly stream, but he pulled a no-show at the last minute. So last minute, in fact, that Vitaly claims he already paid him $50K upfront to participate. Needless to say, the YouTuber was not happy. He’s going as far as to claim he’s taking legal action against Quavo as a result.

Vitaly broke the news that Quavo wasn’t coming during a July 29th stream. He also made racial remarks about the rapper, which drew criticism from fans throughout the world. “So, Quavo is not coming,” Vitaly announced. “No, he’s not coming. He took our deposit, right? Yeah, of course, Black people thing.” The YouTuber was so frustrated by the no-show that he urged viewers to harass the Migos rapper on social media. “Every Quavo post that goes on TikTok, everywhere, you guys say, ‘Give Vitaly his money back,’” he requested. “That’s not cool. Just taking my money like this.” Vitaly decided to take matters into his own hands on August 2, however. He went on stream and announced plans to sue Quavo for bailing on his agreement.

Quavo Reportedly Bailed On A Planned Stream Appearance

Vitaly told viewers that he was getting in touch with the legal team of another controversial streamer, Adin Ross. “We are also getting Adin Ross’ lawyers to pursue legal actions towards Quavo and his team,” he noted. The YouTuber proceeded to disparage Quavo for his actions, claiming that he used to be a big fan of the rapper. “I’ve nothing against Quavo. I was the biggest fan,” he added. “I’m not a fan anymore. I know one person isn’t gonna make a difference, but it is gonna make a difference…”

Quavo seemingly had other events on his mind. The rapper made headlines on July 31 when he attended Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Atlanta, Georgia. Not only did Quavo voice his support for Harris, but he gave a speech in support of gun control. This was another talking point that Vitaly made fun of during his live stream. “He endorsed Kamala Harris saying protect the gun violence,” the YouTuber noted. “All you do is rap about violence and drugs.” The specifics of Vitaly’s lawsuit have been made public.
