SpaceGhostPurrp Is Sending The “BLITZ GANG” Your Way On His New Single

SpaceGhostPurrp is someone who has been around the block for over a decade, but we have not updated you on what is cooking with him. So, to make up a little bit for lost time, let us revisit his musical accomplishments as of late. The Carol City, Florida rapper has been semi-active over the past year and a half or so. Since the middle of 2022, SpaceGhost has put out three singles and two albums. Both dropped in 2023.

One contained 22 tracks with one feature from Lil Ugly Mane. That was called BLVCKLVND Rvdix 66.6 (Remastered) and saw a release in July. Then, SpaceGhost followed that up just three months later with Dark Angels. It stood at 14 cuts featuring contributions from Dough2x, Key Nyata, and more. For 2024, the cloud rap specialist could be gearing up for another title.

Listen To “BLITZ GANG” By SpaceGhostPurrp

We say that because a track has surfaced within the YouTube realms from some random users. It is called “BLITZ GANG” and fans are theorizing that this could be the song that kickstarts the rollout of a new mixtape. Mar Dragon 2 is the title that is being thrown around. However, nothing has been confirmed by SpaceGhostPurrp. The track we have in front of us could very well be a throwaway or some sort of demo. Quality wise it sounds very rough and the audio is very choppy. But, if you want to give it a listen, check out the link above.

Memphis, Tennessee is always providing listeners with hot new tracks and projects. Today, we have a new one from Big Moochie Grape who we recently just sat down with. Hardrock And Honorable C.N.O.T.E. Are Royalty On “King Tut”

Hardrock is someone who has not had a lot of pieces written about him on our site but he has tons of talent brewing. The youngster from Atlanta, Georgia is fairly new to the hip-hop scene. However, he is already receiving major co-signs from the biggest names in the industry. His latest record 1of1 featured some amazing producers on it.

Mainstays like F1lthy from the production collective Working on Dying and fast risers like BNYX chipped for a dark and spacey listening experience. Even though Hardrock is still planting his roots in the game, he has a great level of work under his belt. Since he got his start in 2021, the auto-crooner has five albums and well over a dozen or so singles out there to check out. That is why we are not surprised his newest single sounds great.

Hardrock is working with another proficient beatmaker on “King Tut.” This time, he recruits a master of bass and synths, Honorable C.N.O.T.E. This is their first piece of released music together, at least according to Genius. However, we would not be shocked if they had more in the vault. While Hardrock’s voice has a similar cadence to that of Playboi Carti, he still sounds great over the hypnotic production.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “King Tut,” by Hardrock And Honorable C.N.O.T.E.? Do they have to make more songs together, why or why not? Is Hardrock in your consistent rotation, and if so what songs and why? Where do you rank C.N.O.T.E. amongst the host of trap producers? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Fabolous And Trey Songz Deliver Passionate Performances Over A Drake Beat On “You Did Me Wrong”

Fabolous is one of a few rappers and or hip-hop adjacent artists to be delivering tracks on a consistent basis. Bryson Tiller is also someone on this trend with “Tiller Tuesdays.” However, the veteran lyricist from New York is going by it by releasing freestyles, mainly over other popular songs. Tiller on the other hand is releasing more original material. So far, Fabolous has not skipped a beat on any of the releases, but that should be a surprise.

As we mentioned, he has been doing this at a high level for a long time. He has consistently proven he has plenty left in the tank. Fabolous’ most recent effort was his “Snooze Freestyle.” When you check out that track you will come to notice he uses the sped-up version of SZA’s viral hit from SOS. Another icon he has selected beats from is none other than Drake.

When Drake dropped the For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition (Instrumental) he challenged the very best to write their best bars. Fabolous was the first to do so over “Evil Ways,” the second J. Cole collaborative effort. Now, for the next “Freestyle Friday” session, Fabolous is back with Trey Songz to perform over “You Broke My Heart.” Both mainstays sound great over it and it may be Fab’s best work as of right now. Go check out the video above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “You Did Me Wrong,” by Fabolous and Trey Songz? Is this the best song from this series he is doing so far, why or why not? Is he the best freestyler of all time? Who had the better performance? Is this the better of the two freestyles over a Drake Scary Hours song? Wiz Khalifa Drops Off Short “Not A Drill Freestyle”

Wiz Khalifa is a respected figure in the rap world and he deserves it. The North Dakota-born artist has been doing the business for over a decade. He has a host of iconic mixtapes and solid albums throughout his lengthy discography. However, in the same breath, he is not the most creative mind and has never been that. But, you have to respect that he knows what lane he flourishes in.

He is not a super lyrical guy but he can sure deliver the smoky vibes and bangers. That is what Wiz is still putting out all these years later. For him, it is all about consistency and staying true to himself. He has been busy over the past year or so. Wiz Khalifa has dropped eight projects in two years, equaling four in 2022 and another four last year.

The freestyle lasts just over a minute and a half so it does not overstay its welcome. Give it a spin above.

Bizarre Teases Upcoming LP With Mean-Mugging Single “Uncle”

Detroit has been the birthplace of some of the most special talents in hip-hop history. It may not get the same shine as places like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta, but it deserves to be right up there with them. One of the reasons why is due largely in part to the former rap posse D12. Formed in 1996 by maybe the best to ever do it, Eminem, is no more. The Real Slim Shady talked about it on his surprise 2018 record Kamikaze. He addressed the fallout with his members such as Bizarre, Bugz, Proof, and the rest of the gang.

Bizarre is someone who is still going strong all these years later. Spitting aggressively since 1998, he is continuing his career with an upcoming album. It appears it will be released under Shady Records as opposed to some of his other affiliations such as Redhead. To help promote Ratt Poison, Bizarre is bringing a gritty street banger called “Uncle.”

Listen To “Uncle” By Bizarre

This will be continuing a very active streak for Bizarre that started in late February of last year. He went on to drop three projects in 2023. Those were 18159 Stout, Drugged Emotions Unleashed, and HGG2. The latter of the two were collaborations with Freder Seric and Foul Mouth. Be sure to tap in when the album drops. But, for now, stream “Uncle” with the YouTube link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Uncle,” by Bizarre? Is this one of the better songs he has put out lately? Will Ratt Poison be one of his best records ever, why or why not? Who would you like to see featured on the project and why? Do you think any D12 member will be on the album? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Madlib & Karriem Riggins Form Jahari Massamba Unit For New Single “Massamba Afundance”: Stream

Two legendary producers in the fields of hip-hop and jazz are about to bring us another album’s worth of their electric chemistry. Moreover, legendary multi-instrumentalist and hip-hop icon Madlib and astonishing drummer Karriem Riggins just dropped the single “Massamba Afundance” under their hip-hop/future jazz duo name, Jahari Massamba Unit. This is a three-minute instrumental show-stopper with relentless percussion, gorgeous key embellishments, and an intoxicating live atmosphere thanks to distant crowd noise additions. They previously released “Stomping Gamay,” another promotional single for their upcoming album, YHWH Is Love, scheduled to land on March 1.

Furthermore, this is by no means Karriem Riggins’ first experience with forming hip-hop-inclusive supergroups. For example, all the way back in 2018, he teamed up with Common, Robert Glasper, and Brandy for “Optimistic,” and worked with plenty of rap artists before and after that. Fans might remember his contributions to Denzel Curry’s excellent 2022 studio album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future, as one of his most recent and high-profile offerings. As for Madlib… well, you know his name is synonymous with both the best beats you’ll ever hear and exciting jazz experimentation. Seeing him fully embrace this for a full project’s never been dull in the past, and through Jahari Massamba Unit, he’s poised to excel once again.

Madlib & Karriem Riggins’ “Massamba Afundance” As Jahari Massamba Unit: Stream

However, what excites us the most about “Massamba Afundance” in particular is its strong live feel. Whether it’s the deep and echoing percussion hits, the added chimes, or the key-playing’s improvisational nature, this is an entrancing rhythm to fall into for its short runtime. It’s also very curious because Madlib usually occupies a pretty liminal space between crisp production and lo-fi soundscapes, so hearing a rougher but more lively mix is never a bad thing. He’s also keeping rap fans excited and on edge by teasing new collaborations with the likes of Freddie Gibbs and Mac Miller. All we can ask for is that we see how these two worlds fuse even more in 2024, because it’s all been amazing.

If you haven’t heard it, you can check out the song above or on your preferred streaming service. When you come back, we want to know what you thought of Jahari Massamba Unit’s “Massamba Afundance,” especially if this is a less familiar genre to you. How do you like the “Waves Crashing” beatsmith’s treatment of Riggins’ drumming here, and are you excited to delve into YHWH Is Love? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments section down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for more news on Madlib and Karriem Riggins, as well as for more great music drops around the clock.

Sematary Rocks Out On New Single “Wendigo”: Stream

You may know Sematary for combining harsh noise, metal, and distorted Chief Keef-style trap drums. If you don’t… well, you have some wild catching up to do, but let this new song “Wendigo” act as a bizarrely measured introduction comparedto his most aggressive work. Don’t get it twisted, though: the King Of The Graveyard still displays a lot of energy thanks to his warped and cavernous vocals, a killer guitar riff, buzzing synth elements, and raging guitar chords. Lyrically, it’s another twisted character portrait from him, balancing out his dark environment and habits with his desire for partnership and to have some company on the winding path.

As one of the horrorcore genre’s most relevant exponents today, Sematary doesn’t fail to find new ways to evolve his artistry. While this is by no means his first approach to more rock-centric drums, song structures, and deliveries, it certainly is one of his most overt. The Northern California artist will hopefully continue on this path for the rest of 2024, because he’s the type of creative that could easily just stick to the sound that garnered his cult fanbase. Regardless, it’s very exciting to see that he’s not putting himself in any creative boxes, especially as his notoriety and circle of collaborators and influences grows.

Sematary’s “Wendigo”: Stream & Watch The Music Video

For example, we recently witness an amazing full-circle moment as the drill-influenced vocalist and producer collaborated with Chief Keef on the recently released single, “F**k The World.” Hopefully there are many more of these to come, as Sematary represents a crucial opportunity to bring more aggressive and unique sounds into more traditional markets. If you haven’t heard “Wendigo” yet, check out the lo-fi music video above, find it on your preferred streaming service, and peep some standout lines down below.
