MIKE Drops Massive 24-Track Project “Burning Desire”

Abstract New York rapper MIKE is easily having one of the best years out of anyone right now. While some of our readers might not know who he is, MIKE has been dominant in the underground scene. He has landed on numerous projects of similar artists in his lane. One of which was the highly-anticipated release of Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist’s collaborative effort, VOIR DIRE.

However, his greatest moment, at least right now from critics and HNHH alike is his recent effort with The Alchemist. Cali and NY came together for an Album of the Year contender with Faith Is A Rock. It came out just a couple of weeks ago and he and his rapping partner, Wiki, were the perfect complements to the sonic backdrops. Now, MIKE might be competing with himself at this point with his album, Burning Desire.

The Genius annotation describes this as a “dark romantic horror with comedic twists. It tells the tale of a fire deeply rooted in revenge and devastation, masked with an intricate beauty.” It is a very complex but fun listen and he brings some guests along to help him tell the story. Key Glock Serves Up First Single From “Glocktober” With “No Hook 2”

Ruthless Memphis MC Key Glock is having a great year so far. We say that because it seems that another project is on the horizon. In fact, it may come right around Halloween. Hopefully, it does because it will be the perfect music to bump while stealing everyone’s Halloween candy (do not do that). But, in all seriousness, that is how Key’s music makes you feel. He gives listeners tons of confidence to do whatever (but be smart and make the right decisions). His in-your-face and violent bars make him extremely entertaining.

That is why his last album, Glockoma 2, has been a joy for fans of his. While he might not be the most versatile rapper, he does his style very well. Of course, this follows up on his 2018 tape, Glockoma. One of the songs on the deluxe, “No Hook” was a solid add-on to the tracklist. Now, it gets a sequel.

In addition, it is also the lead single to his upcoming album, Glocktober. Glock has not officially given a release date yet. But, with the title and the color of the cover being orange, it is safe to say sometime right before Halloween it will be out. It is the same cover as Glockoma 2 and fans under his Instagram post for it are hilarious. While they are amped for new music, they cannot help but make witty jokes. One says, “This finna be bro album cover from now on with a different color ” Another adds, “Next one gonna be a green one that say the Glock that stole Christmas.” If we are already on this trend, we say Key follows up on this.

However, the Kentucky-born multi-talent is finally back with a new song for the fans who have been waiting for it.

“Hood B**** Aesthetic” is all about flexing the hard work that has led Rubi to become the media starlet she is today. It features production credits from some big names, Murda Beatz and FNZ. Might as well go all out since it has been a hot minute. Rubi sounds braggadocious over this luxuriously smooth trap beat.

Skepta Pays Homage To UK Legend Amy Winehouse On “Can’t Play Myself (A Tribute To Amy)”

It has already been over 12 years since the tragic passing of the UK singer and songwriter, Amy Winehouse. She would have been 40 years old on September 14 and her iconic songs and spirit still live on to this day. Seeing as Skepta was also born and raised in the UK, he wanted to pay the ultimate respect to her by putting out a new single. He samples Amy’s popular hit, “Tears Dry On Their Own,” on “Can’t Play Myself (A Tribute To Amy).”

You may be wondering how Skepta pulls this off. Well, if you have not been able to keep up with the headlines in rap, the rapper has just created a new label. In fact, it was just a few months ago that he and Boy Better Know crewmate Jammer got this project underway. Más Tiempo is the name and its focus is on the house genre. In an interview with Mixmag, Skepta said, “Más Tiempo is a movement, from Africa to London, to Ibiza. We’re focused on production, DJs, and events — and the team is ever-expanding to bring a new flavor to house music.”

Lil Blessin is an artist who has been bubbling as of late. Overall, there are a lot of you out there who may not know who the man is. However, there is no doubt that the artist is looking to change that. Months ago, he dropped a viral hit called “Likka Sto.” This song immediately became a fan-favorite and since that time, he has been looking to get some artists together for a remix. Interestingly enough, Travis Scott previewed his verse on the track, back in May during a club appearance.

Now, the remix has finally arrived. This new version of “Likka Sto” also comes complete with a music video. Furthermore, Travis Scott is not the only one on it. The track also features the likes of BIA and G Herbo. It is definitely an odd assortment of artists, however, for someone like Lil Blessin, this is a look that could truly help him take off.

Lil Blessin Gets Some Huge Features

The track is filled with energy, and despite the big names, Lil Blessin proves to have the freshest energy here. Although Travis, G Herbo, and BIA sound great, you can tell Lil Blessin is hungry. Moreover, he is making fun tracks, and we could use a lot more of that these days. We can’t wait to see what he does in the future.

In her post’s caption, Cardi wrote, “Throw it back like it’s Thursday / I got cake, I’m lit, It’s my birthday… Trophies.” As per usual, the fashionista looked flawless while performing for IG, her long black hair twisted into a stunning updo. Her hourglass figure looked seriously sexy in a red dress, which chiefly showed off ample cleavage as Cardi sat pretty amid her collection of flowers and balloons gifted from her husband, Offset.

Speaking of the former Migo, on Friday (October 13), his highly anticipated Set It Off album landed on DSPs, complete with a new “Freaky” collaboration featuring his wife. Unfortunately for her, she’s been too busy clapping back at critics slamming her for smoking on her birthday to fully celebrate their joint effort.

Gucci Mane Gives Fans One More Single Before Album With “Glizock & Wizop” Featuring Key Glock

This one is no different, as it features one of the most prominent names in the subgenre, Key Glock. The East Atlanta Santa will be bearing some gifts on October 17 with the release of his first project this year. Breath of Fresh Air is going to be another massive offering, totaling 24 songs. If you did not already know Guwop is the founder of the 1017 Global Music record label. When you connect the dots, Gucci is dropping this album on October 17 (10/17).

Ice Spice Shares Photo Dump Celebrating Release Of New Song

Overnight, Ice Spice teamed up with Nigerian singer Rema for a new song “Pretty Girl.” Rema has already had one of the biggest hit songs of the year with his Selena Gomez collaboration “Calm Down.” The pair are hoping that putting their powers together can get them back on the charts. Spice is already celebrating the early praise for the album with a new IG photo dump. “pretty girl with rema out everywhere ;P” she captioned a series of pics posted to Instagram earlier today. DaBaby Drops Brand New Three Pack “LET’S DO IT”

DaBaby’s output in 2023 has been steady, however, there is no full project from him this year. It all started back on January 26 with the release of “JOC IN ’06.” Following that, we got a little three-pack, CALL DA FIREMAN. It was an appropriate title seeing as DaBaby was bringing plenty of heat to the table with tracks like “SHAKE SUMN.” It got even hotter when Sexyy Red joined in on the remix. Finally, on September 29, we got one more solo single, “TRICKIN’.” But, DaBaby was not satisfied with only releasing music on streaming platforms.

Over the course of just a few days, the rapper put his freestyle skills through the ringer. DaBaby tested his abilities to rap over four different beats. The first one saw him murder the “Peaches & Eggplants” beat. He slayed Ice Spice’s “Deli” next. Finally, he flexed his muscles on Gunna’s smash hit “fukumean” and Burna Boy’s “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.”

PinkPantheress Previews New Album With Gorgeous Track “Capable Of Love”

PinkPantheress is someone who has burst onto the scene in a very big way as of late. Overall, she doesn’t have a lot of songs to her name. Moreover, her songs are extremely short, for the most part. However, she is someone that fans have really been gravitating towards. Her songs tend to go extremely viral, and her supporters love everything she has been doing as of late. Her collaboration with Ice Spice was massive, and there is this sense that she can be the next big superstar.

Well, in just a few weeks from now, the artist will be dropping a new project called Heaven Knows. Fans are excited about this upcoming body of work, and you can understand why. Thankfully, as a way to introduce us to this new album, PinkPantheress has come through with a song and music video for “Capable Of Love.” In fact, the track is four minutes long, which is a welcomed surprise given the songstress’ previous efforts.

PinkPantheress Continues To Impress

With this song, PinkPantheress flexes her ear for melodies. The vocal lines are sticky and the production complements her sonic aesthetic beautifully. Moreover, the lyrics here are meaningful and you can tell that this album will be heavy on the themes of love and heartbreak. If you are a fan of Imogen Heap or Frou Frou, the sounds here might be a bit familiar. Either way, it is a great new song.
