The latter has the slight edge on the former because the Memphis rapper put out her mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang. That also holds some extra major tracks such as “Wanna Be” “No Bih”, and more. Fans might also side with Big Glo in this comparison, as a lot of people seem to be quickly turning on the “Munch” artist. However, we feel they could be knotted up once the New York drill musician drops off her debut album, Y2K!

It will be on streaming platforms in a couple of more weeks, with July 26 being the big day. It is indeed an important release for Ice Spice, especially because of the added pressure from listeners and even her competition such as Latto. Thankfully, the “boys a liar” hitmaker still has a lot of support from the ladies surrounding her, with GloRilla being one that seemingly has no animosity toward her. But it seems like not everyone agrees, or at least, that’s what certain reports online indicated recently concerning the Sexyy Red 4 President tour. Moreover, per The Art Of Dialogue and Touring Data, the run of shows is facing pretty low sales, and rumors spread that it might be canceled outright. Well, don’t fret, Redheads (if that’s their Stan name, of course): the St. Louis MC recently took to Twitter to deny any sort of cancelation.

“My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine,” Sexyy Red tweeted on Monday (July 8). “We not cancelling no tour dis cancelling s**t all cap [two cap emojis]. Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling s**t. I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”

He blasted his group mate on social media, and now that we have a response from Turk, we can understand what’s going on a little better… emphasis on “little.”

Yungeen Ace Avoids Gun Charges After Foolio’s Alleged Killer Accuses Him Of Placing The Hit

As a pretty big problem seems to form for Yungeen Ace (real name Keyanta Bullard), he’s getting rid of another headache in the legal system to clear his to-do list up. Moreover, per Action News Jax, prosecutors abandoned the gun charges case against him on July 3, which stemmed from an April arrest this year. “E-Traces were completed for the firearms but provided no evidence to associate the firearms with Bullard,” prosecutors expressed. “Bullard’s phone was recovered, but after review, a search warrant was not sought. […] Bullard’s DNA was taken pursuant to a search warrant and was compared against the firearms, but [the Florida Department of Law Enforcement] reported that the firearms failed to demonstrate a sufficient amount of DNA for processing.”

However, Yungeen Ace has bigger fish to fry now, as his rival Foolio’s alleged killer recently claimed that Ace paid him $10K to murder him. “On everything I love, on the dead homies, I put it on everything, on my soul, on my kid, n***a: I’m the one that smacked Julio Foolio that night when he got dropped at his birthday celebration,” the unidentified individual said in a video posted to social media. “I ain’t gonna show my face or give my identity away or nothing like that, but you know, I did that. There was money on his head.

This has led some to believe that the Drake stimulus package no longer exists. Furthermore, there are some who are a bit worried about whether or not Drizzy has what it takes to come back from his recent loss. However, it seems like his good friend DJ Akademiks is here to dispel some of those myths. In a recent stream for his fans, Akademiks came out and said that new Drake music is, indeed, on the way. Moreover, he noted that the music is fire.

At last! Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has steadily climbed the Hot 100 since its April arrival. The unbelievably catchy country-pop tune leapfrogged from No. 3 (chart dated June 29) to No. 2 (July 6) and now, finally, No. 1. This is Shaboozey’s first-career No. 1 on the Hot 100.

According to Billboard, Shaboozey is now the first-ever Black male artist “to top both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs” and second Black artist overall behind only Beyoncé. The publication also relayed “A Bar Song (Tipsy) is the first song ever to chart in the top 10 across Country Airplay, Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, and Rhythmic Airplay. TLDR: It’s everywhere.

Shortly before Lamar held The Pop Out, the hitmaking expert announced Faith Of A Mustard Seed. He did so by dropping a trailer that included some behind the scenes footage of him and potential features working in the studio. Since then, fans have received a handful of extra goodies about the album. One of them is that Mustard is going to be rapping for the first time on any of his projects. YNW Melly Murder Retrial Pushed Back Until 2025 After Numerous Other Delays

YNW Melly’s retrial for double murder is officially too complicated to address this year thanks to a new ruling from the Florida judge in this case. Moreover, according to NBC Miami, Judge Martin Fein revealed in a court hearing on Monday (July 8) that he rescheduled the retrial’s start date to September 10, 2025 following multiple other delays in the process. Back in January, authorities placed the trial on hold indefinitely, and the rapper had a pre-trial meeting in his witness tampering case set for December 5 of this year. Of course, folks are likely aware of the double murder case in 2023, whose result in a mistrial led us to where we are now.

Furthermore, jury selection for this retrial began back in October of 2023, and motions and appeals prolonged the process. Then, Judge John Murphy paused the case given prosecutors’ appeal of his ruling on a motion to suppress evidence, since the legal team wanted to use a documentary on YNW Melly as key evidence in the retrial. “While this short video focuses on Defendant’s life, it is mere speculation to guess who decided to add the text statement,” his defense team posited. “It could have been the director, the producer, an editor, [Melly] or any number of people. Thus, without knowing the source of the comment, it holds no evidentiary value.”

YNW Melly’s Retrial Date Is Set

Judge Murphy upheld the defense’s point of view, and the prosecution’s appeal halted discovery developments on both sides of the courtroom. In addition, this joined other disagreements between prosecutors and defense attorneys, such as YNW Melly’s wish to exclude YNW Bortlen and his girlfriend’s phone calls from the retrial. Still, there isn’t much else we know about what will actually come up in this retrial. Perhaps the near future will contain more updates as each side builds their arguments.

“The Broward State Attorneys Office really screwed this case up,” YNW Melly’s attorney claimed on social media. “I have never seen anything like it. […] A real circus over this case and mishandled from the 1st day when I was in the case. Bad investigation and even a worse trial. To think that the Broward State Attorneys Office would mishandle an important double murder case because of ego… unbelievable.”
