Drake Films Music Video In Toronto On Top Of Scotiabank Arena: Watch

Drake’s new album For All The Dogs has 23 tracks, and with such variety, quantity, and range, the possibilities for music videos are almost endless. Moreover, it seems like he might be contributing another one to that conversation soon. We already have visuals for the 6 God’s “Another Late Night” with Lil Yachty, plus his “8AM In Charlotte” visuals, too. However, given what fans recently spotted atop the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, a new music video shoot might be for an album cut or perhaps something else entirely. After all, he’s no stranger to giving fans surprises, even if he just went through a wild album rollout for his new studio effort.

Furthermore, this is the same arena that hosted the Toronto tour stops for Aubrey Graham’s 21 S*vage-assisted trek, It’s All A Blur. In fact, the arena became October’s Very Own Arena for those two concerts, so perhaps this is the announcement of a new partnership with them. Of course, that’s just filling in theories if this music video shoot isn’t the expected outcome, which is a song from For All The Dogs. As Drake raps for the camera on the arena’s roof in the clip below, you can almost hear OVO die-hards trying to piece together what song it is from just his movements.

In addition, there’s a perfect record-breaking and chart-topping track from the new album that is primed for the music video treatment. Drake’s J. Cole collab “First Person Shooter” became the Dreamville boss’ first number one hit ever. Not only that, but it tied Drizzy and Michael Jackson for the most number one hits ever from a male solo artist. Technically, though, the Toronto MC actually beat the King of Pop, as Billboard doesn’t count his Travis Scott team-up “SICKO MODE.”

Alas, with no J. Cole in sight in this clip, that outcome seems unlikely. The question, then, is what other songs could fit this atmosphere at Scotiabank Arena and warrant a visual representation. Young Thug Appears In Upcoming Mariah The Scientist Video

Atlanta rapper Young Thug is making a highly anticipated return to the spotlight after a year and a half in jail on RICO charges. In a surprising development, Thugger was spotted in the video footage upcoming music video by his rumored girlfriend, rising R&B star Mariah the Scientist. Some fans were supportive, others were skeptical of the situation. “No Mariah Slander…” one person commented. “Baby girl been holding down her man and staying out the way.” “Holding a man down while is in jail is just slow,” another said. “He’s been in jail longer than the relationship they had,” someone else commented.

For the most part, the project is growing on people, but where it ranks in Drake’s discography is still debatable. There’s 23 songs total on the project and each of them offer something different to the project. Some of the standout tracks from the project include, “Daylight,” “First Person Shooter,” featuring J. Now, “Another Late Night” just got an official music video and it’s directed and edited by Cole Bennett.

Miguel Announces First New Album In Six Years, Shares New Video

R&B fans rejoice, Miguel’s highly anticipated 5th album is on the way. After a prolific streak in the 2010’s dropping 4 albums from 2010 to 2017 the California-based singer has been quiet for a while. Now the critically acclaimed hook artist and collaborator is returning with a new album later this year. While it doesn’t have an official release date yet, it just got a lead single and an accompanying music video.

The track is called “Give It To Me” and the fittingly moody music video has already racked up more than 11k views in less than a day. The track has a sensual energy to it with the lyrics “‘Cause I like what you got Would you give it to me I like what you got I like Imagining everything it could be,” coming on the hook. He also confirmed that the new album would officially be called Viscera. That came after he first announced that new music was on the way back in August with a gnarly stunt. He suspended his body in midair with numerous hooks fed through his back for a listening party that generated plenty of attention. Check out the new song and accompanying video below.

Miguel Teases “Viscera” With New Single

Despite having not released an album in 6 years, Miguel hasn’t been quiet musically. He appeared as a feature on a pair of songs back in August with some high profile artists. The first came alongside Lil Yachty when the duo linked up for the song “Number 9.” Just a week later he collaborated with Jessie Reyez for another sensual anthem called “JEANS.”

Miguel has released two EPs since his last album as well. First came Te Lo Dije in 2019 which was his first Spanish language project. He followed that up with Art Dealer Chic 4 in 2021. Bow Wow Calls Out Keshia Chante For “Bullsh*t” Beef Origin Story

During her recent appearance on The Brandon Gonez Show, Keshia Chante revealed the origins of her beef with Bow Wow. According to her, she had been cast to star in one of his music videos, but after she turned down his offer to hang out at his hotel, her team told her she had been replaced with Angela Simmons. At that point, she says that Chris Brown came to her trailer to let her know that she could star in one of his videos instead.

Chante explained how the beef followed her for years, and continued when she became a host on 106 & Park. “He just kept hazing me,” she described. She went on to claim that Bow Wow would intentionally cause her to mess up her lines in attempts to get back at her. Chante says that Drake was able to put in a good word for her with Bow Wow when they interviewed him, and eventually things cooled off. She then took to social media to reveal that the two of them had spoken on the phone since her interview. Chante explained that her depiction of what happened was simply a “misunderstanding,” and it appeared that the two of them were on great terms. “I LOVE Bow & he’s been NOTHING but respectful towards me over the last 10+ years,” she wrote. Bow Wow responded to her explanation, writing “Love u 2 keesh.”

It appears as though Bow Wow has an entirely different account of what went down between the two of them, however. He recently took to social media to respond to her claims, calling them nothing but “bullsh*t” in a turn of events. Obviously, there’s two sides to every story, so it’s possible that the two of them just remember different versions of what really happened. With that being said, it’s clear that Bow Wow isn’t happy about how he was painted in Chante’s account. “I have so much sh*t on her,” he continued.

Bow Wow claims that he never picked Chante to be in the video, and only recast the role because he felt his label was forcing him to push other artists with his own work. Kevin Abstract Makes His Solo Return With His Latest Track “Blanket”

Kevin Abstract and BROCKHAMPTON called it quits nearly a year ago with their album, The Family. It was an unfortunate and sad end to the group’s tenure together. One of the most entertaining collections of talent in the hip-hop community and BROCKHAMPTON will always be in our hearts. Their legacy is truly special Abstract has not been active since 2022 either. Actually, the last release under his stage name was in 2021.

It was a single with Ryan Beatty titled “SIERRA NIGHTS.” After that, was a single in 2022 called “DEAR MISS HOLLOWAY” with easy life. Finally, him and Baird dropped a two-pack “Easy v2.” Those songs were titled “Easy v2” and “Easy On Them Turns,” which was a Baird-only cut. However, we finally have some new material from Kevin and it is something that is totally different.

The track is called “Blanket” and it is just under two minutes. It really is not much of a song, though. The HBO Max show is grabbing big rappers for this tape and Sexyy Red made the cut in a big with “No Panties.” It is a raunchy song that needs no explanation.

Chrisean Rock Called Out By Her Brother Over New Song

Chrisean Rock’s family situation has become incredibly complicated recently. First, Blueface made a tweet referencing Rock’s sister Tesehki which was clearly meant to upset Chrisean. It must have worked because Tesehki was blurred out of a music video Rock released for her song “Prayer For Chrisean Jr.” That appears to only be the start of her family drama. Now Chrisean’s brother has taken to Instagram to share his grief over a lack of credit he received for his work on the song.

“Nothing about this song was selfish. It hurt me that I didn’t get a tag, a like, a comment when I posted the song months ago. Than to take Tifa out the song is spiteful. I could have atleas got tagged in my own song. We family, I put this song together for my family, and then you changed the name of the song,” his Instagram post reads.
