Yeat’s “U Should Know” Continues To Win Over Fans With Moody Music Video

Yeat has been someone who has created divisive opinions on himself. The mysterious rapper from Irvine, California has been on a tear over the past and a half or so with his signature psychedelic take on trap. His mixture of that along with rage music have garnered some mixed reactions to his material. However, his most recent release 2093 surprised many, including the mostly hard to impress, Anthony Fantano. He gave it an eight of 10 and fans are on his side with that take. The album is aiming for a number one debut on the Billboard Hot 200 with around 72.6K copies sold. To help celebrate the album, Yeat put out a music video for “U Should Know.”

One of the deeper cuts on the record, it has earned its place as one of the strongest offerings. It is a song all about not caring about anyone’s opinion and going at life alone. The atmosphere and lyrics of “U Should Know” perfectly suit Yeat’s persona and music. You can check the well-matched music video below.

It feels very Travis Scott-esque with its dark color palette and hints of neon. The Asian sports car inclusion adds to that similarity of the visuals for La Flame’s “Antidote.” That video included a Hyundai Genesis coupe, while “U Should Know” includes an older Nissan GT-R. The visuals are a hit with fans as well, with over 700,000 views.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new music video for “U Should Know” by Yeat? Is this one of his best performances on a track as of late, why or why not? What was your favorite element of the song and why? Did he turn you into a fan after dropping 2093? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Emo Jimmy Butler Returns For Fall Out Boy Cameo

Jimmy Butler has once again debuted his emo look, this time for a cameo in a Fall Out Boy video. Butler, complete with his emo hair, stars as a bedazzled cowboy in the video for the newly released “So Much (For) Stardust”. Butler dances, lip-syncs, and eventually summons Pete Wentz from a bedazzled Magic 8 ball. It’s a truly bizarre, but not welcome, return of Butler’s alter ego.

Butler first debuted his emo look at a preseason media day for the Heat last October. After he simply declared that “I’m emo”, Butler proceeded to give a very standard press conference appearance about his expectations for the season as the Heat tried to run it back after reaching the Finals in 2023. The look was then parodied by Shaq during the Halloween episode of Inside The NBA‘s Halloween episode at the end of the month.

Jimmy Butler Earns Suspension For Role In Pels Fight

Meanwhile, Butler, Naji Marshall, and Nikola Jovic will be suspended for a game while Jose Alvarado and Thomas Bryant will miss three games for their respective roles in the brawl that broke out at Heat-Pelicans on Friday night. Alvarado and Bryant’s punishments were deemed more severe due to the pair reigniting tensions between the teams after the original scuffle had died down. Despite this, fans will note that Draymond Green still received a larger suspension for placing Rudy Gobert in a chokehold earlier in the season. Green missed five games for that incident. Fans will likely soon voice their distaste for the league’s double standard as news of the suspensions begins to spread.

However, Butler argued that he didn’t think his actions warranted a suspension. Furthermore, he accused Williamson of flopping, causing the whole debacle to begin with. Meanwhile, Williamson appeared to place the blame on Butler. “I wasn’t tripping about K-Love because he actually protected me on my fall. All of a sudden I see Butler kind of lunging toward Naji. So I’m trying to get there like, ‘Yo, relax, like what’s going on?’” Williamson said.

RiTchie Drops New Single “Dizzy” With Amine Ahead Of His First Solo Album: Stream

Nathaniel Ritchie’s part of a lot of the most exciting rap music to come out in the past ten years. Following the passing of group member Groggs in 2020, the Arizona rapper and producer Parker Corey chose to release one more album as the trio Injury Reserve in 2021: By The Time I Get To Phoenix, the best album of the decade so far. Then, they retired the moniker to make music as the By Storm duo in 2023. In addition, he now chose the name RiTchie after previously going by Ritchie With a T to release his debut solo album Triple Digits [112] on April 5. Along with this announcement, the “Double Trio” spitter released the single and music video “Dizzy” with frequent collaborator Aminé, following his debut solo single “RiTchie Valens” a few weeks ago.

Just like that song, RiTchie crafts a really creative, unsurprisingly dizzying, and engaging sample flip with catchy refrains, charismatic delivery, and entrancing percussion. Almost the whole music video is filmed from a first-person perspective as he hits the gym, goes out to a bar, and meets Aminé in the bathroom. Speaking of which, the KAYTRAMINÉ creative is similarly impressive on the mic here, and both MCs provide a nuanced, clever, and critical look at the hip-hop world caring more about image and lifestyle rather than the actual work and craft.

RiTchie’s “Dizzy” With Amine: Watch The Music Video

Overall, it’s amazing to see RiTchie express himself in yet another artistic project, and to have it be as unique and compelling as he’s always been. “What started as a personal outlet to release these mental barriers, ended up with me having some fun music I felt comfortable, then confident, and now excited to put out there in the world while me and Parker continue to work on the first By Storm record,” he shared of this new journey. What did you think of “Dizzy” with Amine? However you may feel, drop your thoughts in the comments section down below and peep some standout bars there, too. If you haven’t heard the single yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and check out the music video above. As always, stay up to date on HNHH for the best new music drops around the clock.

Maino & Young Thug Team Up For New Single, “Poetry”

Last week, Maino came through with a new track alongside Young Thug, “Poetry.” The melodic single, which arrived alongside a fun accompanying music video, sees the duo spit about making money, clashing with competitors, and more. It follows the release of the deluxe edition of Maino’s 2023 album K.O.B. 4, which he unveiled in January of this year. It also follows the release of various collabs and a full-length album from Young Thug, Business Is Business, which he dropped in June of last year from prison.

It’s unclear exactly when the music video for “Poetry” was shot, however, Young Thug’s major role in it suggests that it was prior to his incarceration. The rapper was arrested in May 2022 on RICO charges and has remained behind bars ever since. He’s been on trial fighting for his freedom since November. Countless fans and peers, including Maino, continue to call for his release.

Maino & Young Thug Star In New “Poetry” Music Video

As for Maino, the NYC-born performer recently celebrated getting his own holiday. He thanked Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso on Instagram earlier this week, declaring August 16 Maino Day. “FOREVER BROOKLYN!!!!” he wrote. He also recently teased some upcoming Lobby Boyz music with Jim Jones, though further details of the project remain unclear.

What do you think of Maino and Young Thug’s new song? What about the accompanying music video? Will you be adding “Poetry” to your playlist, or not? Are you looking forward to more new music from Young Thug and Maino? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Sematary Returns To His Distorted Trap Realm On New Single “Headlights”: Stream

Sematary is back with another single ahead of his forthcoming project, and it looks like it’s going to be a really special one for the California native. Moreover, his last release “Wendigo” took his heavily distorted vocals, metal and industrial inspirations, and blown-out production and took them into a more explicitly rock-oriented realm and rhythm as opposed to his Chicago drill and trap worship on offerings like King Of The Graveyard. It was a different style for the Haunted Mound leader, who will soon tour the U.S., the U.K., and Europe with his collective (dates/tickets here). Despite this shift, he still came through with one of the best songs of the year so far for the underground and beyond.

Furthermore, given his collaboration with a big inspiration in Chief Keef for “F**k The World,” it seems like Sematary wanted to bring things back to this style after “Wendigo.” This new single and music video, “Headlights,” kicks off with distorted drums, crisply compressed snares and embellishments, a nasty synth, and his trademark distorted vocals. Throughout the track’s four-minute length, it adds in more shrill synthesizers, more monstrous bass, walls of crunchy electric guitar, and some catchy, albeit despondent refrains and flows. In fact, it’s really impressive how many details are able to go in and out of the production while still maintaining its identity and level of noise. It’s a really progressive and surprisingly methodical cut, and at the center of all the chaos is the 23-year-old grave man.

Sematary’s “Headlights”: Watch The Music Video

Meanwhile, this just adds to all the hype around Sematary’s next move right now, as 2024 looks to be Haunted Mound’s biggest yet. Although his distorted vocal treatment is not unique to him, you can see how it’s inspiring artists to adopt this for their own creations, such as various moments on Yeat’s new album 2093. It’s finally time for the “Come With Me To Hell” creative to get his flowers, and we can’t wait to see what’s next. Chrisean Rock Lookalike Appears In NLE Choppa & Lil Mabu’s New Music Video Dissing Blueface

There’s another “Shotta Flow” on the market, as NLE Choppa tapped white drill provocateur Lil Mabu for his seventh remix and music video of his signature hit. This time around, they basically made it a Blueface diss track, including a Chrisean Rock lookalike in the video and making various references to his boxing career, his current jail stint, and his relationship with Chrisean. In fact, there are a lot of angles here to consider when it comes to what beefs are popping up in just one song and music video. Then again, it’s unsurprising given just how much all these folks give weight behind social media spats.

For example, the feud between Blueface and NLE Choppa started well after their own remix of “Shotta Flow.” Basically, things seemed to kick off when the latter’s baby mama rejected the former, and they started to clown each other online. There were threats of a boxing match between them to settle their differences, and even their mothers jumped into the whole thing. “He is going to have his mom apologize the day my son come home,” Blue’s mother Karlissa Saffold wrote under coverage of this new song.

On the other hand, we have Lil Mabu versus Blueface, whose beef stemmed mostly from the latter’s relationship with Chrisean Rock. When she collaborated with Mabu and dissed the California MC on their joint track, this caused the two of them to go back and forth amid claims that Chrisean and the Manhattan spitter were together. These didn’t pan out to be the case, and the former Baddies star went right back to Blue, leaving Mabu in his feelings. So “Shotta Flow 7” is probably a way to clown them both, at least to a certain extent.

Meanwhile, Chrisean Rock claims to be unbothered by all the recent drama around her ex’s alleged third baby mama. We’ll see if the near future provides more developments in this regard. But let us know in the comments what you thought of this new music video. As always, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Blueface, Chrisean Rock, NLE Choppa, and Lil Mabu.

Central Cee Goes Full R&B On “I Will”

Central Cee was one of the handful of talents from the UK who really helped the country represent itself well in 2023. While the West Londoner did not drop a project, his singles and features speak for themselves. From working with the biggest artists like Drake, Pink Pantheress, The Kid LAROI, and Dave, to getting an XXL Freshman bid, he really came into his own. Now, to open up 2024 Central Cee is bringing his first track called “I Will.”

However, this is not your typical UK drill Cee that you have become accustomed to. “I Will” sees him take a journey over the R&B genre for a song about giving a promiscuous woman a chance after meeting her at a night club. He raps on this one still but with a more low-key and slower delivery. Some of the lyrics are a little too much though.

Listen To “I Will” By Central Cee

You got your c***hie shaved just in case you find the right male / Said your body count’s twelve, but your p***y tight still.” The beat is also a little to generic, but at least Central Cee is exploring different lanes. His year is far from over though, as according to Uproxx, he is nominated for four categories at the BRIT Awards. Those include Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Song Of The Year for “Sprinter” and “Let Go,” as well as Artist Of The Year.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “I Will,” by Central Cee? Do you like him going into an R&B direction? Is he the hottest UK rapper going right now, why or why not? Do you want to hear a new album from him this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Central Cee. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

Just give me the date and pick a place and go pack the Rimowa

The Weeknd Drops “Popular” Music Video With Madonna & Playboi Carti: Watch

The Weeknd hyped up his HBO show The Idol a lot last year, and while it was by no means perfect, it at least brought us some great music. It’s hard for him to miss in this regard at all, but fans were still shocked when he dropped “Popular” with two very interesting guests as a lead-up to the show. These are rap’s new wave leader Playboi Carti and pop legend Madonna, and fans were bewildered as to how these fusions would come out even if both fit with Abel Tesfaye separately. Regardless of fan expectations, it’s a pop banger, and just a couple of days after its premiere on Fortnite, we now have the official music video for the song on YouTube.

Of course, it’s a very lavish visual treatment that matches well with the shiny cleanliness and pristine production on “Popular.” The Weeknd, Madonna, and Playboi Carti all appear individually at a grand mansion, a high-rise apartment, and a luxury car, respectively. It’s all very clear, crisp, and although simple, it does definitely invoke the aesthetics and mood of the record itself, so it’s a big success in our book. We would’ve loved to have seen the artists interact, though, as XO and Opium have a very strong relationship. Also, it’s wild to think about how the Queen of Pop and King Vamp would match stylistically, both in terms of fashion and general artistry.

Still, this is adding to a heck of a victory lap run for the 34-year-old right now, one that will probably turn into a full album rollout very soon. He recently broke some more Spotify records and teases his next effort in a vague way. Everyone’s looking forward to see how the Canadian superstar wraps up his current trilogy, and his stage moniker as a whole, it seems. But don’t fear: just because he won’t go by The Weeknd anymore doesn’t mean that he won’t stay in the industry as a creative making great art.

Meanwhile, what did you think of this new “Popular” music video? Considering rumors about an upcoming project, are you looking forward to the “Alone Again” artist making new strides in film as a co-writer? Whatever the case may be, drop your thoughts in the comments section down below. Also, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on The Weeknd, Madonna, and Playboi Carti.

The Weeknd previously discussed the making of the song during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I’m proud of it. I’m definitely proud of it,” he said, last year. “Me and Carti had this… I mean, we’ve jammed out before. We’ve had a different version of this song prior. So I’ve had these vocals for a while and I’ve kind of just worked around it, and then kind of kept it in the tuck. But now it felt like it was time. It was time. And it felt right and it felt cohesive with this album that I’m working on right now. Or that I just actually finished. The Idol soundtrack, yeah. And so I’ve been producing the song for a while. And then Madonna, Madge. She’s the ultimate co-sign for this song, for this album, and for this TV show. And you’ll hear more of her in the show as well, too. She is the ultimate pop star.”

B.G. Reflects On Prison Experience In New Music Video, “Really Understand”

B.G. recently reflected on his experiences in prison during the music video for his new song, “Really Understand.” In the piece, he appears in an interrogation room before being shipped off to a jail cell. The rapper famously pled guilty to two counts of possession of a firearm and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice back in 2012 and was sentenced to 14 years behind bars.

On the song, he raps: “If you done been to jail before, you really understand/ How hard that time be when no one there to hold your hand/ You hear from the streets that your bitch got a new man/ Can’t wait to get released so you can go ’round up that bag/ I walked out my sentence and watching my mama tears/ When growing up this was one of the things she once feared.”
