J Balvin, Usher & DJ Khaled Want To See Those “Dientes” On New Single

Have you ever wanted to hear Usher, Lil Jon, and Ludacris’ “Yeah!” but with a reggaetón and house twist? Well, you’re in luck, because the first of those singers assisted J Balvin and DJ Khaled with the cut “Dientes,” which does exactly that. It’s a club-ready banger, with a big focus on driving expressive vocal runs and the iconic melody behind the original. Also present are some shuffling percussive elements like slinky bass, syncopated kicks, and crisp snares and hi-hats. It won’t be the most unique or boundary-pushing thing you’ll hear this week, but there’s a good chance it’ll be the catchiest.

Of course, this is just one of many tracks that Usher’s graced his fans with this year, including “Boyfriend” and “Good Good” with Summer Walker and 21 S*vage. This time around, though, it was actually quite curious to see him retread his old flow on “Yeah!” for a more contemporary context. It’s not as explosive as the original, but it’s much more dynamic from start to finish with swells and drops. J Balvin also came through with various melodic inflections and refrains to bring “Dientes” from one eight-bar section to the next. As for DJ Khaled… well, his ad-libs get us ready for a pop hit, and we can all agree that hearing his yells hasn’t gotten any less entertaining.

Meanwhile, “Dientes” also came out with a glitzy and playful music video that also speaks to the history behind these artists. They all have big plans on the way, with Khaled in particular teasing his next studio effort with a lot of excitement. Offset Hits Wild Dance Moves With Kai Cenat On “Fan” Music Video Set

Kai Cenat and Offset twizzed up for the past few days, whether on stream or outside. Moreover, the two recently linked up for a 24-hour livestream, where the rapper got over his fear of snakes and he got Cenat to smoke to hilarious results. However, this friendship isn’t just a case of ‘Set stepping into the Twitch icon’s world for a quick moment. It turns out that he actually returned the favor to his New York-born friend and offered him another glimpse into the music industry. Ahead of his new album Set It Off, the Georgia MC released “Fan” and its accompanying music video, which Kai got to witness firsthand.

Furthermore, a clip recently surfaced online of the two dancing and wilding out at the shoot. They showed off plenty of dance moves: getting low, shaking their legs up, head-bobbing, and swaying from side to side like a penguin. However, the massive Michael Jackson fan within Offset was very impressed when Kai Cenat decided to pay an homage to the King of Pop. The streamer pulled off his best wrist flick before moonwalking, which got some cheers from the crowd in front of them.

With these fun and high-profile hijinks, the two set themselves up as a duo to watch, whether for their comedy or their chemistry in any context. We’ll see how else they enter each other’s realms in the future, and they both have a lot to look forward to. Sure, for Kai Cenat, that’s mostly under wraps, and will most likely be revealed to us as he continues his career. After all, he doesn’t have the burden of teasing what he’ll do next and would rather just hit the record button and document it all. Offset, on the other hand, is working to capitalize on that burden and anticipation.

His next album is one of the most anticipated of the year, especially following his Migos partner Quavo’s earlier release this year, Rocket Power. With teased features from Travis Scott, Latto, and more, this will be an event to witness. All we can hope for is that the 31-year-old keeps shooting for this balance of hard work and hard play. Joyner Lucas Pays Homage To Mac Miller On “Seventeen”

Joyner Lucas’ long string of singles continues with another release on September 8. The Worcester Massachusetts rapper recently put out “Seventeen” ahead of his next full-length project, Not Now, I’m Busy. Lucas attempted this same formula for his first album back in 2020, ADHD. For the rollout of that LP, he went on to drop nine singles starting in October 2018. ADHD did not hit streaming until March of 2020. Will he give the same type of treatment for Not Now, I’m Busy? We will have to wait and see because according to HipHopNMore there is no timetable for when we will receive his fifth project.

In the meantime, Joyner is back with his sixth lead single, “Seventeen.” On this cut, he is spitting about his come-up from his rough upbringing. On the first verse, he talks about manifesting his dreams from when he was a kid. He raps, “They never knew that one day all this s*** I be dreamin’ about, I’d be livin’ it (Ayy) / Jump out the window and took the advantage, I know my potential is limitless (Joyner).”

The real selling point of this song is the sample. When the instrumental begins the high-pitched kid vocals might ring a bell to you. They are familiar because they are the ones in Mac Miller’s smash hit “Donald Trump.” Miller passed away five years ago on September 7 and it is fitting that “Seventeen was released just one day after the anniversary of his passing. Lucas shouts out Mac at the beginning saying, “Rest in peace Mac Miller,” while he recreates an opening shot from the “Donald Trump” music video. All in all, it is a solid track that pays its respects to one of the truly special talents in hip-hop history.

Latto And Sexyy Red Steal The Show In “Peaches & Eggplants” Music Video

Sexyy Red is continuing her breakout 2023 with a guest verse on one of the longest-lasting rap hits of the year. Young Nudy’s “Peaches & Eggplants” with 21 Savage dropped all the way back in February and is still hovering around the middle of the Hot 100. It currently sits at number 59 and is likely to bounce back even higher, potentially even to its former peak of number 49 next week. That jump could be even higher as a result of a new remix released overnight, and the accompanying music video that dropped today.

Two of the most notable female rappers of 2023, Sexyy Red and Latto, jump on the song with verses of their own. They also teamed up to star in an accompanying music video where they absolutely steal the show. As you’d expect the video is pretty raunchy and the eggplant imagery is all over the place. Latto and Sexyy Red announced the remix on Instagram a few days ago, but it wasn’t all they announced. In the caption of the “Big Energy” rapper’s post she hinted at even more new music that could be coming soon from the pair. That post also featured plenty of fans in the comments expressing just how much they liked the pair’s looks. Those looks are on full display in the music video and as you’d expect the YouTube comments are full of similar sentiments.

This isn’t the only remix Sexyy Red is expected to be a part of soon. She’s been teasing a new remix with Lil Durk for weeks. The pair have been promoting the song by taking friendly shots at each other on their Instagram stories for weeks. Lil Yachty Addresses Drake Music Video Leaks: “They Were In Sniper Position”

Drake and Lil Yachty have such an allure around them that people secretly approach them as if they were part of a covert special ops team to get a scoop on them. At least, that’s how the Atlanta artist sees it, as he recently explained to his co-host MitchGoneMad on the A Safe Place podcast. Moreover, Yachty spoke on a clip from an eagle-eyed that went viral recently, in which he captured the two MCs filming a music video in the woods. In fact, one of the bars from the shoot mentions A$AP Rocky, which further raised interest in seeing what was going on. From Lil Boat’s perspective, though, it was just downright creepy to have a die-hard find them like that.

“We were in the middle of bats**t nowhere, and it was like 3 o’clock in the morning,” Lil Yachty remarked around the 4:25 mark of the video below. “I mean, in retrospect, you would assume how was anyone even around in the woods by a lake? Drake has just like these *nsane fans who follow him everywhere he goes. They were in sniper position. If somebody really wanted to do something, easily they could’ve took a headshot.”

Metro Boomin Shares Another Hybrid Music Video For “Spider-Man” Song “Calling”

Earlier this year Metro Boomin executive produced the soundtrack for the animated movie Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. The feature-packed project spawned a number of hits and had contributions from many of the biggest rappers around. While all of the songs from the album received visualizers, a few have gotten full blown music videos and the most recent is “Calling.”

“Calling” is the biggest hit song from the soundtrack and it features NAV, Swae Lee, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. A music video for the song was released earlier today featuring Metro and the various rappers. Like some of the other videos from the soundtrack it features a hybrid of real life filmed scenes and animated segments. This newest video features the artists overlayed in the art style of the film itself. Check out the full video below.

Metro Boomin’s Newest “Spider-Man” Music Video

Metro Boomin has stayed incredibly busy and he isn’t done any time soon. He’s been teasing an entire collaborative album with Future. The most recent tease came in the form of an Instagram post. In the post he poses with a falcon promising that the record is on the way. That was welcome news for fans who were concerned after Metro tweeted about losing three different beats he was working on. When the power went out in his studio he hadn’t saved what he was working on and it ended up lost. When a fan pressed him about what the beats were for, he clarified they were for the Future collab album.

Metro Boomin also served as the executive producer on Young Thug’s new album Business Is Business. The project was assembled and released while Thug is behind bars. He’s been incarcerated for over a year as a result of the YSL RICO case. What’s more is that, at the start of the clip below, you can hear a bar that shouts out none other than A$AP Rocky.

“I ain’t pretty Flacko b***h, this s**t get really Rocky,” Drake raps in the alleged snippet of his rumored upcoming Yachty collab. Maybe this doesn’t end up panning out, but it’s still a wild encounter to witness. While Drizzy and ASAP Rocky have always shown each other love, it’s actually been a while since they last teamed up on wax. Fans probably remember their hit “F**kin’ Problems” with Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz, for example.

What’s more is that this marks a first-time collaboration between the “Privileged Rappers” MC and one of the best in the game when it comes to visuals. Moreover, he recently posted on his Instagram Story that he’s working on a music video with none other than Cole Bennett. If you don’t recognize that name, you will most definitely recognize many MVs from his long list of directed work via his creative outlet, Lyrical Lemonade.

“Coming soon,” Drake captioned a picture of Cole with a camera with an owl and lemon emoji. “I was gonna keep it a secret but…” Bennett replied in an IG Story of his own reposting Drizzy’s photo. This is overall a very exciting prospect, not just for the historic nature of this team-up but for the anticipation surrounding For All The Dogs. More importantly, though, it’s a massive level-up for the acclaimed director in terms of visibility, though he doesn’t need the OVO mogul to keep building his career forward.

For example, Cole Bennett recently worked with Lil Yachty once more for the video for his recent single, “TESLA.” With colorfully coordinated shots, crisp clarity, and compelling composition, it’s a simple but effective display of his talents. Considering Yachty and Drake’s own great relationship, maybe this is the connection that Bennett needed to link up with the latter. However, with the massive reputation he’s already amassed, there’s no way that the Toronto superstar wasn’t aware of his reach.

He has gained traction off songs like “PASTA,” and “WERKKK.” He inspired dance challenges and remixes from artists like Lil Uzi Vert.

Furthermore, he was featured on Chance the Rapper’s “GRoCERIES” which has greatly helped Tisa’s popularity. So much so, that he nabbed a big feature on Don Toliver’s fourth album from 2023, Love Sick. You can find him on the fifth track, “Go Down.” It has racked up over 12 million streams and is the most popular song on his Spotify account. That song is a total 180 from what his new single “Rando” is sonically and theme-wise.

“Rando” is sort of random in the fact that there is really no direction for the song. Unless you look at it as a party song strictly, then it does its job. Finesse2Tymes Releases New Single And Music Video For “Can’t Go To Jail” After Recent Arrest

Polarizing and up-and-coming Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes recently got into some hot water with the authorities. With everything going on around him, he decided to make a new song around the situation. “Can’t Go To Jail,” released on September 1, also got the music video treatment and that has people buzzing. The visuals see Finesse2Tymes, in essence, recreating his arrest. He is driving fast in a Dodge Charger trying to lose the police. Eventually, they catch up to him and handcuff him.

In the chorus, the 2023 XXL Freshman raps that he cannot be behind bars because he feels he will not get a bail offer. As the one-minute and 58-second track comes close to ending, Finesse2Tymes also says, “I do this for C Murda (No Limit).” Lately, there has been a lot of noise and headlines around Master P’s brother C Murda. He is serving a mandatory life prison sentence for the murder of 16-year-old Steven Thomas at a closed club in Louisiana. A questionable line to spit in a song about his arrest.

Overall, the song is a typical trap song with the Memphis treatment. The beat is extremely aggressive and is provided by Memphis Track Boy.
