Tyrese’s Prayer Protest At Divorce Hearing Shut Down
This weekend, singer/Actor Tyrese Gibson called on fathers across the country to show up outside the courthouse in Atlanta for a protest prayer ahead of his divorce hearing. Unfortunately, Tyrese posted that his prayer protest was shut down and media was not allowed in the courtroom. He also revealed his ex wants nearly $280,000 lawyers despite their prenup stating she’d have to pay her own legal fees.
Tyrese took to Instagram to express his frustrations. He wrote:
They also told my representative to strongly suggest that I walk into the courtroom through a private side door…. Praying for peace and a blessed outcome…. Just knowing that myself and my lawyer Tanya Mitchell Graham are going to put back in front of this sitting judge who we tried to get thrown off of the bench, because of his abuse of power is conduct the fact that he got our court case.. the entire divorce case was illegally sealed because he wanted to cover his tracks and not have anyone to see how we conducted himself during our trial…. His name judge, Kevin M Farmer…. There’s a reminder then when you know your rights and you know the law, and you know that we are all allowed as American citizens to have are just due process in the court room, rather a judge like you, or not rather a judge has a personal problem with you or not none of those things are welcome from sitting judge. We are all legally allowed to have our day in court, and our just due process…. I’m going to ask any media news outlet please request that our trial is Unsealed when you do wrong when you abuse your power when you’re literally doing things as a sitting judge that are against the law in Fulton County that’s not OK and if they were willing to do it to me and my attorney, it’s very clear that a real indication of what you see today will likely be connected to an indication of how someone is always been. You just gotta dig and dig and dig and pull the transcripts of how this man has been conducting himself as a sitting judge in Fulton county to all fathers. I’m walking in now can we go…..

Lil Durk Discusses How Therapy Has Helped Him “Cope Different”
Lil Durk says that he started going to therapy in order to learn how to “cope different.” Speaking with XXL for a recent interview, the 30-year-old rapper explained that he’s had trouble showing emotion in the past.
“Being more open. Being more open to letting [my new manager] Pete [Jideonwo] in,” he said. “Moving certain people out the way. That’s the best feeling. Therapy, the kids, the new team, all that. But the best feeling is really just starting over.”

Durk continued: “I got a therapist so I cope different. … I don’t show emotion. So, some people will be like, ‘Man, you can’t hold it in.’ And I just can’t talk to nobody usually. You gotta be careful how you tell people, what you tell people, because they can use it against you. They can find out your weaknesses. So now, when I talk to the therapist, then it start getting more emotional. But like somebody on the street, you’ll never even see me shed a tear.” When asked if he started going to therapy to work through all death he’s experienced in his life, including the loss of King Von, Durk remarked, “Nah, I think I had to go to therapy fresh out the womb.”
Durk is far from the only rapper working on destigmatizing mental healthcare. Kendrick Lamar also recently opened up about going to therapy and the role it played in his latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. Addressing the topic during Spotify’s mini-documentary, A Day In Ghana With Kendrick Lamar, he explained: “We learn to hold all our shit in. Shit, I’mma keep it 100 with you, it wasn’t my forte when people mention it to me. I’m stuck how my pops think,” he said. “I challenged myself to go to therapy. Desiigner Says he is Checking into Mental Health Treatment Facility after Allegedly Exposing Himself on Plane
Following a bizarre incident that occurred on a flight this week in which he allegedly exposed himself, hip-hop artist Desiigner says that he is taking some time to focus on his mental health and will be checking into a mental health treatment facility.
While details are still fuzzy, it appears that the “Panda” artist exposed himself on an international flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis and seemed to have been reprimanded by a flight attendant on the plane who alerted authorities in Minneapolis. Police were waiting for the artist when his plane landed and it appears that he was released without being held.
However, he did post to Instagram on Thursday. In the post, he appeared to acknowledge his struggle with mental health as well as noting that a medication prescribed to him in Asia may have caused a chemical imbalance. He wrote:
“For the past few months I have not been ok, and I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on,” the statement begins. “While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted in to a hospital, I was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the states, and am admitting my self in a facility to help me. I will be cancelling all of my shows and my obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If [you’re] not feeling like yourself, please get help.”
Desiigner had originally been in Thailand as part of the Rolling Loud event series in the country that was held last weekend where he joined Cardi B, Travis Scott, and others. He also had reportedly performed at a venue in Tokyo.
No further updates have been provided on any of his social media accounts as of Friday.

Desiigner Exposes Himself On Plane, Enters Mental Facility
Desiigner is experiencing some serious mental health issues. This is not the first time that he has detailed struggles with mental health. Last year, the rapper explained why he parted ways with Kanye West’s label. “The reason why I left Ye is ’cause I was going through a little mental thing,” Desiigner said. “I was just coming up out of high school, my pops just went into a coma. While I was on tour, I was having a great time but I just knew something at home was happening with my mom and my pops health and shit.” Not long after that interview, Desiigner was caught up in a face off with the LAPD. When speaking on the incident, the rapper said that the the police were unnecessarily hostile in the situation. At the time he told them he was dealing with PTSD.
Desiigner originally hails from Brooklyn. He gained widespread recognition in 2016 after his debut single “Panda” became a chart-topping hit, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His unique style blends elements of trap music, hip hop, and rap, characterized by his rapid-fire delivery and distinctive ad-libs. Desiigner previously signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music label in 2016. He has since released several projects, including his debut studio album L.O.D. in 2018. Late last year, he released his single “Bigger And Bigger” after previously announcing the he was retiring. In an interview about the single, he said, “Music is my therapy. I lost a lot of bros this year. We all say things out of emotions but the truth is in me.”

Now, Desiigner has had another run in with police for a very different reason. On his international flight back from Asia, he apparently exposed himself. When he landed, the rapper was met by police. Apparently the rapper has not been feeling like himself for quite some time, and even had to be admitted to a hospital while he was out of the country. The specifics were not provided. However, Desiigner did make a statement to TMZ about the situation.

‘Beef’ Star David Choe In Hot Water After Bragging About Sexually Assaulting A Black Woman
Shocking video of Beef star David Choe detailing his alleged assault of a Black woman has gone viral.
In a clip from Choe’s podcast DVDASA has sparked outrage and disgust for the actor who plays Isaac, and who painted all the title cards for Beef. In 2014, Choe bragged about being “a successful rapist” of a Black woman but later denied it as “bad storytelling” for “shock value.”
“According to his own telling, the woman David Choe assaulted is Black. He describes himself as a ‘successful rapist,” Aura Bogado wrote on Twitter with a clip from a now-deleted episode called “Erection Quest. The Tweet has more than 1.4 million views a day later.
“But the thrill of possibly going to jail, that’s what achieved the erection quest,” Choe said on the podcast.
Even his co-host Asa Akira looked shocked, saying, “Ew, you’re basically telling us that you’re a rapist now. And the only way to get your d*ck really hard– is rape.”
“Yeah,” Choe said, doubling down as two other men laughed. They went on to ask what she looked like. He fed into their sadistic fantasy by describing her body, hair and race.
“Who cares what she looks like? Dave is telling us he’s a rapist,” Akira said.
“A successful rapist,” Choe said at the end of the excerpt.
“She’s definitely not into it,” he said during an earlier part of the story.
A month after making the comments, Choe claimed on his old website that it was a story he made up for his so-called art.
“I never thought I’d wake up one late afternoon and hear myself called a rapist. It sucks. Especially because I am not one. I am not a rapist.” Choe wrote.
“I am an artist and a storyteller and I view my show [“DVDASA”] as a complete extension of my art. If I am guilty of anything, it’s bad storytelling in the style of douche. Just like many of my paintings are often misinterpreted, the same goes with my show. The main objective of all of my podcasts is to challenge and provoke my friends and the co-stars on the show.”

Amanda Bynes Hits The Nail Salon Following Release From Psychiatric Care
Like so many former child stars, Amanda Bynes has found herself struggling to cope with adult life. Ultimately, she’s been falling victim to her own mental health. Though she was released from a lengthy conservatorship last year, the Hairspray actress sparked major concern last month. At the time, she was discovered wandering around downtown Los Angeles completely nude. She’s believed to have been suffering from a psychotic break. Luckily the starlet was able to flag down help for herself before any serious damage was done. After visiting the authorities, Bynes was placed on a psychiatric hold to evaluate her condition.
While such holds usually last 72 hours, the former child star’s was extended. However, sources shared that her parents had no plans to reinstate their conservatorship. As March came to a close, reports claimed that Bynes was refusing to speak to her friends and family. It’s unclear if the 36-year-old is aware of the state she was in when discovered. She was likely living on the streets for some time before getting the aid she needed, police have confirmed. Prior to that, she was living with her on-again-off-again fiancé Paul Michael. Their relationship has previously been known to bring more chaos into her life.
Update on Amanda Bynes’ Mental Health
Earlier this week, fans of Bynes were pleased to hear that she’s been released from the hospital after nearly a month. It seems that her time away to heal is helping her prioritize self-care, as one of her first public sightings took place at Toluca Lake’s Cosmo Nails on Wednesday (April 12). The former cosmetology student looks laid back but healthy in the paparazzi snapshots, wearing her hair back in a bun behind a headband. According to eyewitnesses, Bynes smoked a cigarette outside while waiting to be picked up after her appointment.
According to Page Six, the plan is for the California native to continue her care via outpatient treatment. For now, she’ll maintain her independence by staying in her own home, though that may change depending on how her condition progresses.
