Amanda Bynes’ Podcast Debuts With Tattoo Artist Interview After Mental Health Crisis Recovery

Amanda Bynes was a childhood favourite starlet for many, but unfortunately, not unlike her contemporaries, the transition into being an adult hasn’t been so easy for her. We’ve seen the blonde beauty fall in and out of toxic relationships since wandering away from her successful acting career, also dabbling in substance abuse to help cope with her mental struggles. In the early half of 2023, Bynes resurfaced in mainstream news, though the reasons were more concerning than flattering. At the time, she was wandering naked around downtown Los Angeles while experiencing an episode, though she was thankfully able to get herself help.

The Sydney White star spent much of her spring seeking professional medical help, which seems to be working as she’s doing well enough to launch a new podcast. This past weekend, TMZ reported on the first episode of Bynes’ internet show with longtime friend Paul Sieminski, which finds the duo chatting with tattoo artist Dahlia Moth – another affiliate of the female host. The full conversation is less than 30 minutes long and marks one of the first times the public has heard much from Amanda in recent years.

Is Amanda Bynes Making a Comeback?

Her co-host does most of the question-asking, but the 37-year-old still speaks throughout after introducing herself and Sieminski. In the time since she quit acting full-time, Bynes has been pursuing other creative avenues, such as fashion school. Like Britney Spears, she was previously under a conservatorship, though her parents have made it clear they have no intent on reinstating that amid Bynes’ recent struggles.

Back in July, Amanda Bynes was finally able to come home from the hospital where she was receiving treatment for her mental health crisis. Since then, the Hairspray actress has been pouring her energy into personal growth and development, allowing her to step back into the public eye on her terms with this new podcasting project. Amanda Bynes Seen For First Time Since Checking Into Mental Health Center

Actress Amanda Bynes has been spotted in public for the first time since checking into a mental health center in July. Bynes voluntarily entered the inpatient center in Orange County. She did so stating she needed a therapeutic place to live that also provided more help than a standard outpatient facility. However, sources told TMZ that Bynes has graduated to the center’s minimal supervision program. This means that she is allowed to leave the center at certain times.

This led to a source spotting her at a strip mall in Orange County. She was seen making purchases from a smoke shop and a supermarket. This is a major part of the minimal supervision program, providing inpatient care while allowing patients the ability to work and live independently to a degree. The source who spotted Bynes told TMZ that the former child star was alone but appeared in good spirits. She was spotted around 6:30PM on August 18.

Bynes Likes Inpatient Program

Additionally, a source spoke to TMZ about the progress that Bynes has been making. Reportedly, the former Nickelodeon star enjoys life at the facility, finding some comfort in the ability to easily socialize with staff and patients, rather than being isolated in her private apartment. Additionally, she plans to remain at the center for the foreseeable future as she continues to work on her mental health.

The semi-autonomy for Bynes is a welcome change after a rough start to 2023. Bynes has been placed on psychiatric holds twice this year. In the first case, she was detained after flagging down a motorist in LA. Bynes, who was naked, informed the driver that she had suffered a psychotic episode. Subsequently, she asked for emergency services to be called. More recently, she was placed on a second hold in June after police responded to calls about a woman in distress. Once again, Bynes was taken into custody despite likely being the one who alerted authorities. This remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

Amanda Bynes Checks Out Of Facility With Recovery Plan In Place

Like many child stars, Amanda Bynes has dealt with the repercussions of fame. She’s had a very public struggle with mental health that’s been ongoing for years. Most recently she called LAPD on herself two weeks ago in distress and reportedly believed she could harm herself. As a result, she was placed on a psychiatric hold. It’s the second time this year she’s been placed on such a hold. The first time came back in March when she flagged down a stranger to call 911 after she was found wandering naked in LA.

Last week Amanda Bynes’s psychiatric hold was extended for at least a week. Now, according to TMZ Bynes has left the facility less than two weeks after she was admitted. Thankfully, she’s left with a plan in place for how to maintain her mental well-being. Their sources claim that she’ll start in outpatient care with a medical professional checking in daily. She’ll be monitored to make sure she’s taking medication and remaining in a good headspace.

Fans are celebrating Amanda Bynes’ release similarly to when she was released earlier this year in April. She was spotted hitting the nail salon following her release. Many interpreted that as a sign that the Amanda Show star was improving. Despite her recent psychiatric hold fans are optimistic that she’s improved.

Many have compared the mental health dealings Amanda Bynes has gone through with that of Bam Margera. The Jackass star has had an even more public battle with his mental health. Family members had to take to Twitter last month just to learn his whereabouts after some concerning texts. Margera has also been placed on numerous psychiatric holds during his ongoing mental health struggles. What do you think about Amanda Bynes being released from her psychiatric hold? Let us know in the comment section below.

Amanda Bynes Still In Psychiatric Facility, Hold Extended

Amanda Bynes is still struggling with her mental health. TMZ has reported that the former child star will undergo an extended period of psychiatric care. According to sources, her loved ones are worried about her recurring cycle of mental health breakdowns. Amanda completed a mandatory 72-hour psychiatric hold that began last weekend. However, the facility has determined that she will be committed for at least another week. During this time, doctors will focus on stabilizing her through medication and therapy.

It is known that Amanda responds well to medication. However, like many individuals with mental illness, she falls into a common pattern of discontinuing her medication once she starts feeling better. This can often lead to subsequent breakdown incidents. Not much is known about the situation currently. It is unclear whether Amanda had stopped taking her medication prior to the recent incident that prompted her current psychiatric hold.

Amanda’s Conservatorship And Declining Mental Health

Amanda Bynes was famously subjected to a conservatorship due to her mental health struggles. During the conservatorship, her mother Lynn was responsible for ensuring she took her medication. Reportedly, Amanda was always compliant. Medication was never an issue during that period. However, the conservatorship ended in March 2022. Sadly, this is the second psychiatric hold in three months for Amanda. Obviously, the situation has worsened since the end of the conservatorship. Furthermore, it has been causing concern among her family and friends.

Despite their worries, there is little that Amanda’s loved ones can do at this point. In the end, it was up to a court to decide whether or not the conservatorship continued. The judge’s decision was to end the conservatorship. It would be extremely challenging, if not impossible, to initiate a new conservatorship petition. This is because it would have to be heard by the same judge who terminated the previous one. This means that there is a recurring pattern of mental health breakdowns without the ability for intervention from her parents. Clearly, this is a significant concern for those close to Amanda. What do you think about the former Nickelodeon star’s situation? Let us know in the comments below!

Amanda Bynes Detained By Police For Mental Health Check

Amanda Bynes’ ongoing mental health struggles continued over the weekend. According to Page Six, on Sunday she was picked up by police after a call was placed about a woman in distress. Sources identified the woman as Bynes, who was taken in for a mental health evaluation following the incident. The former Nickelodeon star is reportedly still in police custody. It’s the most recent chapter in a long struggle with mental health issues for the child star.

Back in March, she was reportedly found wandering an LA street completely naked. She told bystanders she was coming down from a psychiatric episode and eventually called police on herself. An evaluation following the event determined that she needed to be put in a 5150 psychiatric hold. She was ultimately released three weeks later but failed to start scheduled outpatient treatment in April. It’s been a little over a year since Bynes was freed from an 8-year long conservatorship. According to sources however, she is still on good terms with her family and communicating with her siblings.

Amanda Bynes Newest Troubles

This newest incident follows reports that Amanda Bynes’ life was “sad and isolated” following her previous psychiatric hold. Fans were also given some good news when she was seen getting her nails done shortly after her release. Many interpreted this as a sign that she was doing better, though it’s unclear now how true that actually is. Despite everything going on in her life, it’s also been reported that the conservatorship she spent almost a decade under won’t be reinstated.

When the most recent Amanda Bynes news broke many drew comparisons between her struggles and those of former Jackass star Bam Margera. Margera was also tracked down by LAPD a few weeks ago after he reportedly sent suicidal texts to family members. When that information made it to Twitter the public assisted in locating Margera’s whereabouts. The situation also ended in Bam being placed in a 5150 psychiatric hold which he appears to still be detained under. What do you think about Amanda Bynes most recent psychiatric episode? Let us know in the comments below.

Amanda Bynes’ Life After Psychiatric Hold Is “Sad And Isolated,” Sources Say

It’s been over a month since we reported that Amanda Bynes was released from the hospital following a lengthy psychiatric hold. Prior to checking herself in for help, the Hairspray actress was found wandering naked through downtown Los Angeles while coming out of a psychotic break. Her parents have expressed no plans to reinstate the embattled starlet’s conservatorship, though a new report from TMZ reveals that life since leaving the hospital hasn’t been so cheery for Bynes.

Sources close to the 37-year-old said she’s presently focusing on where she’s going next in life while prioritizing her medical needs. She apparently doesn’t have many people in her life at this time and isn’t putting the same energy into her passions as she was before her incident. Though she no longer acts, Bynes has poured plenty of time into other creative pursuits, such as fashion design and pursuing the art of being a nail technician.

Though she’s not quite her normal self again just yet, the California native has been diligent in attending her outpatient appointments. Additionally, she’s been spending time speaking with therapists and staying on top of her medications. It’s certainly sad to hear that Bynes has been mostly alone, but friends are happy to see she hasn’t reunited with her toxic ex, Paul Michael. The pair were planning a wedding, though he wasn’t adequately supporting his partner while she was struggling.

For the time being, the former child star is apparently in frequent contact with her parents and siblings. Despite her rocky relationship with them in the past, they’ve become a strong support system for their daughter as she gets back on her feet following another bout of turmoil. Amanda Bynes Hits The Nail Salon Following Release From Psychiatric Care

Like so many former child stars, Amanda Bynes has found herself struggling to cope with adult life. Ultimately, she’s been falling victim to her own mental health. Though she was released from a lengthy conservatorship last year, the Hairspray actress sparked major concern last month. At the time, she was discovered wandering around downtown Los Angeles completely nude. She’s believed to have been suffering from a psychotic break. Luckily the starlet was able to flag down help for herself before any serious damage was done. After visiting the authorities, Bynes was placed on a psychiatric hold to evaluate her condition.

While such holds usually last 72 hours, the former child star’s was extended. However, sources shared that her parents had no plans to reinstate their conservatorship. As March came to a close, reports claimed that Bynes was refusing to speak to her friends and family. It’s unclear if the 36-year-old is aware of the state she was in when discovered. She was likely living on the streets for some time before getting the aid she needed, police have confirmed. Prior to that, she was living with her on-again-off-again fiancé Paul Michael. Their relationship has previously been known to bring more chaos into her life.

Update on Amanda Bynes’ Mental Health

Amanda Bynes (Photo by Lester Cohen/WireImage)

Earlier this week, fans of Bynes were pleased to hear that she’s been released from the hospital after nearly a month. It seems that her time away to heal is helping her prioritize self-care, as one of her first public sightings took place at Toluca Lake’s Cosmo Nails on Wednesday (April 12). The former cosmetology student looks laid back but healthy in the paparazzi snapshots, wearing her hair back in a bun behind a headband. According to eyewitnesses, Bynes smoked a cigarette outside while waiting to be picked up after her appointment.

According to Page Six, the plan is for the California native to continue her care via outpatient treatment. For now, she’ll maintain her independence by staying in her own home, though that may change depending on how her condition progresses. Amanda Bynes’ Psychiatric Hold Extended, Actress Refuses To Speak With Friends & Family

The rumours surrounding Jonathan Majors have been making up most of the headlines over the past few hours. However, other updates on our favourite celebrities continue to pour in. For the past week, Amanda Bynes fans have been expressing great concern for the 36-year-old. It comes after a psychotic break found her wandering the streets of downtown Los Angeles naked. At the time, she was brought to the police for further evaluation. They accordingly opted to place the embattled starlet under a psychiatric hold.

On Sunday (March 26), TMZ broke the news that the Hairspray actress will be spending an extended period of time at her mental health facility. Most similar situations find patients staying in custody for roughly 72 hours. At this time, Bynes is planning to stay for at least one more week, though that may later be extended once again. Sources reveal that she hasn’t been in contact with any of those who are closest to her. It remains unclear if she remembers the time she spent wandering through LA without clothing or company.

As authorities worked to figure out how Bynes got to be in such a state, they realized she’s seemingly been living on the streets for some time. Her vehicle was previously towed in Long Beach – located about 40 miles from her home – on March 15. Friends and family believe that she was using public transportation and possibly even hitchhiking.

When her car was taken, sources say there was no gas in the tank. It’s also worth noting that the California native didn’t have a cell phone on her during her LA escapades. Apparently, leaving her house and walking for miles isn’t a strange occurrence for Amanda Bynes. Those with a strong understanding of her condition believe she may have been manic when she was seen earlier this month. Her ex, Paul Michael, says he hasn’t lived with the multi-talent since January, and she was apparently last seen at her apartment just a few days before her vehicle was towed.
