10. SZA — “Snooze”

“Snooze” was released as a single back in April 2023, and it’s had an impressive chart run. It’s just barely hanging onto the top 10 now after dipping from No. 9 last week.

Savage did the ol’ switcheroo with SZA’s hit single, leaping from No. 10 to No. 9, two weeks after debuting in the No. 5 spot.

8. Benson Boone — “Beautiful Things”

TikTok really is helping form the future of music: Boone gained popularity on the platform and now he has his first top-10 single with “Beautiful Things” which debuted on the chart at No. 15 last week.

7. Doja Cat — “Agora Hills”

Doja’s “Agora Hills” is hanging strong, matching its previous high at No. 7 this week. Now, about that face tattoo

6. Zach Bryan — “I Remember Everything” Feat. Kacey Musgraves

Bryan and Musgraves’ hit continues to dominate the charts: Aside from No. 6 on the Hot 100, it’s No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, the Hot Rock Songs chart (for the 23rd week for both), and the Hot Country Songs chart (19 weeks).

5. Tate McRae — “Greedy”

A lot of songs have been sticking around the top 10 for weeks now, and that includes “Greedy,” which remains just a few spots off its previous high at No. 3.

4. Teddy Swims — “Lose Control”

Like Boone, Swims recently landed his first top-10 single. “Lose Control” reached a new high of No. 4 last week, and that’s where it remains this frame.

3. Taylor Swift — “Cruel Summer”

“Cruel Summer” continues to dominate, but get ready for a new crop of Swift songs to charge up the Hot 100 soon.

2. Jack Harlow — “Lovin On Me”

Harlow had four weeks at No. 1 with “Lovin On Me,” including a chart-topping stint last week. Now, though, we have a new Hot 100 champion.

1. Megan Thee Stallion — “Hiss”

Megan is No. 1 with her new single “Hiss,” which is bound to upset a number of people, as the diss track goes after some of her fellow artists. “Hiss” is Meg’s third chart topper, following “Savage” and “WAP,” with “Hiss” being Meg’s first solo No. 1.

Blueface’s Mom Visits Him In Prison, Advocates For Megan Thee Stallion Relationship

Amid her son Blueface’s current stint in jail for parole violations, Karlissa Saffold is trying her hardest to get him out. Moreover, she recently pleaded with Kim Kardashian to help advocate for his freedom, and of course shaded his on-and-off-again volatile boo Chrisean Rock in the process. However, the rapper’s mother is also making it clear that her support is not just on social media, but right there with him. TMZ caught up with her this week at Los Angeles’ Men’s Central Jail, where he’s currently held until at least this summer. Not only that, but Karlissa is already thinking about his future.

Furthermore, she reiterated one of her common sentiments that made headlines previously. Karlissa Saffold thinks Megan Thee Stallion should get with Blueface, and thinks she’d be the perfect partner for when he’s released. Unsurprisingly, she shaded the 27-year-old’s past partners who she thinks brought him down, and thinks the Houston MC is more his speed. His mother wants them to travel Europe together, and even brought up their compatible astrological signs as another proposed piece of evidence.

However, even in Karlissa Saffold doesn’t like Chrisean Rock, she’ll still defend her son with Blueface against all opponents, including Soulja Boy’s disparaging comments about Chrisean Jr. “Y’all should not be talking about nobody’s baby,” she expressed on social media. “That’ll come back on your grandbaby. That’s off limits, that’s short man syndrome because that baby is bigger than Soulja Boy already! That’s why he’s mad. He wouldn’t say his gang affiliation on the internet, but he talking about kids. That’s just giving a m*dget on drugs.”

Meanwhile, Karlissa Saffold also spent some time defending Tina Snow from Tokyo Toni’s disses. “I’ll say this one time and one time only, Ms. Tokyo,” she expressed. “Don’t f**k with Megan. Her mama not here to take up for her, don’t f**k with her. She’s off-limits. Unless you want me to pull up and do you how I did you on that Zeus Network. That’s all I’ve got to say today.” For more news and the latest updates on Blueface, his mom, and Megan Thee Stallion, come back to HNHH.

Trinidad James Gives His Take On Megan Thee Stallion & Nicki Minaj Beef

Everyone has something to say about the Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion rap beef, especially their peers in the game. The latest to do so is one Trinidad James, who recently caught up with TMZ at what seems like an airport, and they presumably asked him about the two femcees clashing right now. Overall, he discussed how they are launching personal attacks at one another and their families, but he also brought up hip-hop’s history of lyrical competition. As such, the “All Gold Everything” artist thinks that this is fair game and an important factor to uphold, and also spoke on power imbalances between them.

“Number one is a heavy crown to wear,” Trinidad James remarked. “Most people don’t ever get a chance to wear the crown. So, it’s really hard to judge the actions of a number one type of person. You won’t get it because you haven’t been to that plateau. So I say that to say that, in the Nicki and Megan situation, it’s always unfortunate when people’s families catch strays in beef, but the essence of rap and hip-hop is about lyrical competition.

Trinidad James On Nicki Minaj & Megan Thee Stallion Beef

How low below the belt you go is unfortunate, and that takes back to somebody’s character,” Trinidad James continued. “But the basic essence and formula of rap and hip-hop is lyrical competition, and that’s how I see it. I mean, you had Jay-Z and Nas back in the day, and they said pretty cr*zy things about each other, too, at the time when “Ether” and things of such came out. Again, Nicki is a veteran in this, and so she came up with real hunters. Real killers, who they’re not really about using their hands for anything. Their words is their power, their words is their sword.

“So, however somebody is feeling when they’re really good with words… if they’re really good with them, it’s gonna sound intense because that’s what this is, it’s lyrical competition,” he concluded. “This is hip-hop, this is rap, bro! You gotta rap to rap, and you gotta stand on your raps. This is not a girl’s club, this is not a tea party. This is a place where your words pay your family and your legacy for life. Defend yourself! That’s what I’ma tell Megan, that’s what I’ma tell Nicki: defend yourself.” For more news and the latest on Trinidad James, Nicki Minaj, and Megan Thee Stallion, come back to HNHH.

Megan Thee Stallion has announced a unique deal with Warner Music Group. She will have control of the rights to her master recordings and publishing still, according to Rolling Stone. The label will provide the Houston rapper with “distribution and marketing resources” to help further her career, as part of the agreement made.

“This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter of my life and career,” Megan shared in a statement, according to the outlet. “I’m really focused on building an empire and growing as an entrepreneur, so I’m proud to take this next step in my journey and work with Max Lousada and the entire Warner Music Group team in this new capacity. I know we’re going to create history together.”

As some fans have noticed, Megan’s recent songs, “Hiss” and “Cobra,” have been released through her Hot Girl Productions business — where she will continue to put out new tracks. The outlet also points out that if she happened to sign any artists to her company, they would have access to Warner’s marketing as well.

Last year, she officially left her old label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, while keeping her distribution under the Warner-acquired 300 Entertainment company. “Following on her success with 300, we’re excited to continue our journey with Meg through this dynamic new partnership, with our global teams, infrastructure, and expertise supporting her every step of the way,” Lousada added as part of the statement.

Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot” Diss Falls Even Further Down The Spotify Charts In Day 4

There’s more bad numbers rolling in for Nicki Minaj’s diss track “Big Foot.” She released the song earlier this week as a response to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” which dropped over the weekend. While Megan’s song doesn’t mention Nicki by name, fans were able to read between the lines and so was she. Her response “Big Foot” does mention Megan by name repeatedly. Despite that, the song was widely rejected by almost everyone. Fans criticized it for having no real punchlines or clever disses and for using some straight-up lies.

Unsurprisingly, the song has suffered commercially as a result of the backlash against it. While it soared to a high debut on the US Spotify charts it’s been slipping every day since. After falling from #23 to #69 in its third day it took an even more substantial tumble in day 4. This week the song has fallen all the way down to #141 on the Spotify chart with just 399,118 streams. The fall down the charts looks even worse in comparison with Megan’s song “Hiss.” It’s spent four straight days at the top of the charts and added an additional 1,867,386 streams yesterday.

She made an even worse comment during a twitter spaces with Joe Budden. They were discussing Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting incident with Tory Lanez in 2020. Minaj compared the entire saga to Megan wanting to have her “Rihanna moment” which sparked massive backlash online. Megan Thee Stallion Will Celebrate “HISS” Going No. 1 In This Hilarious Way

Megan Thee Stallion ia laughing all the way to the bank, it seems, as her newest single “HISS” is poised to take the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Of course, this contained the “Megan’s Law” bar that set Nicki Minaj on a path of revenge on social media, plus some other supposed disses to her detractors. While that femcee battle is still raging (albeit in a one-sided manner), it seems like the Houston MC is more concerned with enjoying the success and connecting with fans. During a recent Stationhead session with listeners, she joked about one of the many ways she wants to celebrate if “HISS” claims the top spot.

Moreover, Megan Thee Stallion referenced one of the bars that Nicki Minaj had for her on her response track. She said that, if “HISS” goes number one, she will have to put the straw back in the bottle of Hennessy. Queen Barb had mentioned this as a shot to her allegedly rowdy drinking tendencies, and Tina Snow herself even admitted during this convo to being in a much different place back in 2019. We can only imagine what else she has planned if her new song makes it big.

Megan Thee Stallion Is Putting The Straw In The Henny If “HISS” Goes Number One

However, this also prompted a lot of backlash from Nicki Minaj fans for a few different reasons. First, they think Megan Thee Stallion was particularly hurt by this bar, which is why she referenced it. In addition, they called her out for talking with fans on Stationhead after the First Lady of Young Money popularized this concept. Finally, they want the Fever hitmaker to respond to “Big Foot,” and will discredit her as long as there is no response. While that last point is a common concept in hip-hop beef, it’s a very hard call to make.

After all, the “Megan’s Law” bar basically ruins any sort of response that Nicki Minaj could have immediately, at least according to some fans. Others think that she will be able to enjoy the commercial success of “HISS” over “Big Foot” and claim this as a victory. Maybe just 32 bars or more could heat things up considerably, but for now, Megan Thee Stallion seems unbothered. For more news and the latest updates on this feud, stay logged into HNHH.
