Megan Thee Stallion ia laughing all the way to the bank, it seems, as her newest single “HISS” is poised to take the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Of course, this contained the “Megan’s Law” bar that set Nicki Minaj on a path of revenge on social media, plus some other supposed disses to her detractors. While that femcee battle is still raging (albeit in a one-sided manner), it seems like the Houston MC is more concerned with enjoying the success and connecting with fans. During a recent Stationhead session with listeners, she joked about one of the many ways she wants to celebrate if “HISS” claims the top spot.

Moreover, Megan Thee Stallion referenced one of the bars that Nicki Minaj had for her on her response track. She said that, if “HISS” goes number one, she will have to put the straw back in the bottle of Hennessy. Queen Barb had mentioned this as a shot to her allegedly rowdy drinking tendencies, and Tina Snow herself even admitted during this convo to being in a much different place back in 2019. We can only imagine what else she has planned if her new song makes it big.

However, this also prompted a lot of backlash from Nicki Minaj fans for a few different reasons. First, they think Megan Thee Stallion was particularly hurt by this bar, which is why she referenced it. In addition, they called her out for talking with fans on Stationhead after the First Lady of Young Money popularized this concept. Finally, they want the Fever hitmaker to respond to “Big Foot,” and will discredit her as long as there is no response. While that last point is a common concept in hip-hop beef, it’s a very hard call to make.

After all, the “Megan’s Law” bar basically ruins any sort of response that Nicki Minaj could have immediately, at least according to some fans. Others think that she will be able to enjoy the commercial success of “HISS” over “Big Foot” and claim this as a victory. Ja Morant Seemingly Hits Gun Celebration During Grizzlies Win

Ja Morant has once again created controversy after he seemingly pulled a gun celebration against the Pelicans. After dropping a dunk, Morant appeared to fire off two imaginary guns before running back down the court. Of course, this caused a lot of outrage given that Morant is just four games into a season cut short by a gun-related suspension. However, the Grizzlies appeared to be a fan of the move, sharing the clip to the team’s official X account.

The win over the Pelicans marked the Grizzlies’ fourth consecutive win, meaning the team is 4-0 since Morant returned to the team. Morant had a game-high 31 points along with 7 assists. However, Morant was also tied for a game-high 6 turnovers with the Pelicans’ Zion Williamson.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne recently said he wants Morant to be the face of the NBA following the retirement of LeBron James. “To me I think the obvious answer is Ja,” Wayne said in the video below. “Because the NBA is entertainment. What I mean by that is there was always a Michael Jordan, just like, you know like God. You gonna watch these Atlanta Hawk games just to see what Dominique, just to see if he gonna get ’em one off. The party’s theme was “Playboy Nights,” and boasted a plethora of live entertainers. Fire dancers, nearly-nude DJs, and more served to make the evening one to remember. Of course, social media users are buzzing about which of the artist’s friends made appearances at the event. The turnout looks to have been pretty impressive, as photos and clips continue to surface online.

Chrisean Rock, for one, pulled up to the party, posing for various photos alongside French Montana with a diamond-encrusted pacifier in her mouth. She even led his “Happy Birthday” singalong. On Monday (October 30), both she and collaborator Lil Mabu shared the success of their Blueface diss track, “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH.” Though the Baltimore native has shared that she’s not making any money off of the joint effort, she’s still proud to see that it’s gone No. 1 on the TikTok Music Charts after previously sitting at No. 5. “You can’t fake the motion,” Chrisean declared on social media. It looks like YouTube users are loving the reality starlet’s latest single too, as Mabu pointed out that they’ve been trending No. 1 on that platform since blowing up.

It’s likely that Mabu was referring to Blue in his post, as the MILF Music founder has been trolling with some posts of his own about signing the drill rapper to his women’s only label. Besides shading Blueface in his celebratory tweet, this past weekend, Lil Mabu also taunted the 26-year-old by flashing his gun and trigger fingers in a video with Chrisean Rock. Because Blue is currently serving a 24-month suspended sentence for his 2022 strip club shooting, he’s expected to be on his best behaviour, meaning not getting too aggressive when firing back at his baby mama and Mabu. Turning 31 isn’t the only thing the artist has to celebrate, however. For one, he also just wrapped up a wildly successful tour alongside his Her Loss collaborator, Drake. Towards the end of the It’s All A Blur tour, the Toronto native dropped his eagerly-anticipated album For All The Dogs. On his track “8AM In Charlotte,” Drake revealed that 21 Savage finally got his green card. This meant that he would be finally be able to join him for the tour’s Canadian dates.

Now that’s he’s allowed to perform outside of the U.S., 21 Savage has unveiled a slew of overseas tour dates. Beginning in November, the hitmaker will make various stops in Europe. He’ll perform in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Manchester, his hometown of London, and more. Aside from ending his immigration case, 21 Savage also dropped off a new track with d4vd earlier this week.
