When it was reported that Roc Nation and Jay-Zcanceled their annual pre-Grammys brunch, a lot of people expressed shock online. Not because of logistical factors or emergencies, mind you, but because they couldn’t believe that this gaggle of stars was going to skip out on a free promo and luxury day. Jokes aside, it turns out we can never assume celebrities don’t want to be in that zone, as Hov hosted a pre-Grammys party in Hollywood at the Bird Streets Club Friday night (February 2). However, it definitely wasn’t the same set-up as the Roc Nation brunch, so we wonder if this is a case of making up for it or adding something new and extra to the pot.
Furthermore, celebrities in attendance -– according to this TMZ report on the occasion -– include Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Odell Beckham Jr., Karrueche Tran, Quavo, Corey Gamble, Lil Uzi Vert, and of course, Jay-Z himself. We’re surprised that Megan Thee Stallion didn’t make it, as she recently spoke on the great advice she gets from the New York rap legend. Of course, she must be very busy right now, and there were plenty of other typical names in his orbit that escaped mention here. The big one is obviously the 54-year-old’s wife Beyonce.
This is a conflicting report with the TMZ article, which indicated that this occurred on the night of Friday, February 2.
In fact, reports indicate that Beyonce won’t perform at the Grammys this year despite some rumors floating around. While this may disappoint fans, we’ll remind you that she already won big at the last ceremony and that she barely has anything to submit this year as far as new nominations. Back to this Hollywood party, though, it looks like everyone had a good time and came dressed in their best. Kim Kardashian looked stunning in a black leather look, for example.

Following an affair the Microsoft co-founder had in 2020, Bill and Melinda Gates divorced in 2021 after 27 years of marriage. The pair’s petition didn’t indicate that there was a signed prenuptial agreement on the books. The exes opted for a separation contract to negotiate the terms of their split. No child support was granted because their three children were already grown. Although one of the smoothest celebrity divorces, it was also one of the priciest. Melinda walked away with $76 billion, making her the 10th wealthiest woman in the world.
The couple continues to run the philanthropic Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle. Worth $50 billion, the foundation is one of the world’s largest charitable organizations. The foundation was in a trust, and therefore could not be divided as part of the marital estate.
Jeff & Mackenzie Bezos – $38 Billion

The Amazon founders married in 1993 — one year before founding the company founding — and share four children. In 2018, the National Enquirer teased a story claiming that Jeff Bezos was having an affair with a former Fox News anchor. The next year, he and wife Mackenzie Bezos divorced.
Because their divorce jurisdiction was in Washington (a community property state), all assets and debts were held jointly by the couple. For that reason, the celebrity divorce was very amicable. They did not have a prenuptial agreement. And although MacKenzie Bezos did not receive half the marital assets, her 4% stake in Amazon was still worth approximately $38.3 billion. Jocelyn Wildenstein, the New York City socialite known as “Catwoman” due to the results of her extensive plastic surgery, received a $2.5 billion divorce settlement when she divorced art dealer Alec Wildenstein in 1999. Problems started when Jocelyn claimed she found Alec in bed with a 21-year-old Russian model. She also claimed he pulled a gun on her, which led to his arrest.
Jocelyn Wildenstein also received an annuity of $100 million to be paid in 13 years. The celebrity divorce was particularly contentious and the judge stipulated when awarding Wildenstein her settlement that she should not use any of the money for further cosmetic surgeries. But she still managed to fall on hard times and filed for bankruptcy in 2018, which she claimed was due to the discontinuation of her $100 million annual divorce settlement by her deceased ex-husband’s family.

Hollywood’s most infamous couple, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian divorced in 2021, but trouble in their marriage began years earlier. West’s string of erratic behavior, controversial remarks, and support of Donald Trump seriously strained their relationship. And in Feb. 2022, the SKIMS founder officially filed for divorce.
The couple, lovingly dubbed “Kimye” by the media, have joint physical and legal custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Kim Kardashian receives $200,000 a month in child support from Kanye West, who’s also responsible for half of the children’s medical, educational, and security expenses. Both parties waived spousal support. When it comes to their property portfolios, the pair had a prenup and kept their homes separate.
However, Forbes reports they jointly owned several homes, artwork, vehicles, and jewelry amounting to US$70 million in shared assets, as of 2022. Back in 2021 West boasted a net worth of $1.3 billion. That amount dwindled after his Yeezy brand was dropped by Adidas. Kardashian’s current net worth according to Forbes is $1.8 billion.
Rupert & Anna Murdoch – $1.7 Billion

Former 21st Century Fox CEO Rupert Murdoch divorced Anna Murdoch Mann, a Scottish journalist with whom he shared three children, in 1999. Troubles started when Murdoch had an affair with his next wife Wendy Deng, whom he married two weeks after settling the divorce. “He was hard, ruthless, and determined,” she would state years later about her ex-husband.
California being the couple’s home state — and a community-property state — Anna Murdoch could have walked away with half of the family fortune, which was then valued at $7.8 billion. But having regarded the company as her life’s work, she used her leverage to protect the company for her children. The couple agreed to a family trust where their three children, along with his child by his first wife, would inherit the company. Rupert, however, breached the agreement for his children with Anna when he had two more kids with Deng. He then bought them off, each with $150 million, and they agreed to divide the trust into six parts, instead of four. Anna Murdoch reportedly received $1.7 billion from the settlement.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver – $300 Million

Although Maria Shriver filed for divorce in 2011, soon after she learned of Schwarzenegger’s infidelity and secret child with their maid Mildred Baena, it took the couple a decade to sign the papers. Married for 25 years, the two handled their divorce quietly and without throwing accusations in court, which is a bit weird considering how long it took them to settle.
There were virtually no public actions taken in the case between 2011 and June 2023. Financial details of the settlement were kept confidential. Because the couple’s four children together are now all adults, there is no child support or custody arrangement.
Settlement papers say that neither owes the other any spousal support, but both reserve the right to seek it through the court in the future. She also kept a Rolls Royce, Range Rover, Escalade limousine, and Spyder motorcycle as well as all of her jewelry. The iconic producer of such albums as The Chronic and The Slim Shady LP has a net worth of $500 million.
During the 18-month divorce proceeding, Dr. Dre (born Andre Young) tried to enforce a prenuptial agreement signed in 1996. But powerhouse attorney Samantha Spector fought the validity of the prenup, arguing that Young had signed it under “duress.” Young revealed lots of Dre’s appalling behavior in court. In a 2021 feature, Rolling Stone Magazine reported that “Nicole claimed in court papers that Dre kicked her out of their home in early April.” Additionally, it alleged Dre “plotted to secretly transfer their assets, to deny Nicole her equal share.” She also accused him of multiple instances of domestic abuse, including holding a gun to her head twice and punching her in the head and face, all of which he denied.

“It’s not a done deal and talks are still ongoing,” a television source allegedly told The Sun concerning Flavor Flav. “[But] there is a lot of buzz around signing this big-name American music star at ITV. He is royalty in the rap world. But his previous offences are a cause for concern and won’t sit well in today’s climate.” On the other hand, charity organization Women’s Aid expressed their discomfort with the decision. “It is disappointing that someone with a long track record of domestic abuse is being considered for a much-loved prime time program,” spokeswoman Teresa Parker remarked.

He recently requested to be released on bail, but a judge quickly shut him down. Regardless, sources close to the rapper claim that he remains hopeful.
Recently, the performer was transferred to North Kern State Prison. This prompted chatter surrounding some of the crimes that have taken place at the facility in the past year or so, which include various violent acts, even murder. Earlier this week, it came out that Lanez is being held in Administrative Segregation. This means that he’s fairly isolated, and being kept away from the other inmates.

According to reports, Lanez has a cell of his own, and every time he leaves he’s placed in handcuffs. He’s also not allowed to eat in the cafeteria with the other prisoners, meaning that his meals are delivered straight to his cell. Apparently, even when he goes outside in the yard, he’s kept in a special area away from everyone else. Though this must certainly be lonely, it might be for his own good. A source recently spoke with TMZ, claiming that Lanez feels especially at-risk because he’s a high-profile inmate.
“Tory is scared for his life and safety in prison. He feels like he is an instant and direct target because of his celebrity status,” they explained. “He stands in at 5-foot-3, so his size is definitely a setback.” The source went on to describe how Lanez continues to hold out hope that he’ll be released. “He is housed with real hardcore criminals, murderers,” they added. “So he is really hoping that his lawyers will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while still maintaining his innocence. Russell Brand is facing serious allegations of sexual assault for acts reportedly committed between 2006 and 2013. Four women have come forward with accusations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse. These allegations were brought to light through a joint investigation by The Sunday Times,The Times, and Channel 4 Dispatches.

The four women, who have chosen to use pseudonyms to protect their identities, have made disturbing claims about Russell Brand’s conduct. Nadia, who had an intimate relationship with Brand, accused him of rape after she rejected his suggestion of a threesome. Fearing damage to her reputation and potential backlash, she did not report the incident to the police at the time. However, she recently submitted text messages and medical records as evidence.
Alice was 16 when she dated Russell Brand, who was 31 at the time. She alleged that he forced her to perform a sexual act. Moreover, Alice claimed that he referred to her as “the child” and instructed her to deceive her parents and friends about their alleged relationship. Another accuser, Phoebe, had a prior sexual relationship with Brand and accused him of sexual assault at his house. The fourth accuser is Brand’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Martin. Jordan claimed in a self-published book, kNot: Entanglement With A Celebrity, that he sexually, physically, and emotionally abused her.
The investigation revealed additional testimonies of abuse by Brand from various women, including indecent exposure on a BBC set and threats towards women who refused his advances. Comedian Daniel Sloss spoke about knowing of the allegations and how female comedians warned each other about Brand’s predatory behavior.
In response to these serious allegations, Russell Brand has taken to his YouTube channel to strongly deny any wrongdoing. He has characterized the accusations as “criminal” and “baroque,” suggesting that he is the target of a “vendetta” and a “witch hunt.” While acknowledging his promiscuity, he maintains that all of his sexual encounters were consensual. However, the fallout from these allegations has been swift and severe for Brand.
YouTube temporarily suspended his ability to monetize content on its platform, citing its commitment to taking such allegations seriously. However, not all platforms are taking the same approach. In fact, Rumble has criticized the chair of a parliamentary committee, Dame Caroline Dinenage, for sending a letter requesting the suspension of Russell Brand’s advertising revenue on the platform. In response, Rumble called the letter “extremely disturbing” and argued against penalizing creators for actions that occur outside of their platform. They explained that the recent allegations against Brand had no direct connection to Rumble’s content and reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining a free and open internet.
Despite these differing responses from online platforms, Russell Brand faced other consequences as well. His talent agency severed ties with him, and his upcoming book release and comedy tour were postponed. This development occurred in the midst of reports of additional individuals coming forward with allegations, which are currently under investigation by The Times. She also touted a long white cape with lots of fringe on the top and sleeves, adding to the glamour of the look.
As for Steve Harvey, he was decked out in a diamond-sequined dress jacket, white dress pants, and a flowing white dress shirt. Together, the couple looked as powerful as possible, strutting for the camera and showing off the design of their combined outfit. Steve also wore classic black dress shoes, and minimal shades adorned his face. They stopped for an extensive photoshoot in Lake Como, Italy, before a night filled with love and appreciation.

As of about a month ago, Steve Harvey’s daughter, Lori Harvey, had split up with actor Michael B. Jordan. When asked about the breakup, Steve said he was “Team Lori” even though he still respected Michael as a person.
