In a candid interview with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, Good opened up about her decision to date Majors. She revealed that her friends were concerned and advised her against the relationship. However, she chose to trust her instincts and faith.
“I wanna be responsible for the choices that I make and I also want to live the life that I wanna live,” Good explained during the interview.

Jonathan Majors and his girlfriend, Meagan Good, have stepped out for their first public appearance since his sentencing for his domestic abuse trial back in April. Together, the two attended the NAACP Theatre Awards at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles on Monday night. They’ve been dating since May 2023 and Good was by his side throughout the legal proceedings of his misdemeanor assault and harassment case.
When The Shade Room shared pictures of Majors and Good at the event on Instagram, fans were highly critical of their appearance. “Is it just me or has she aged a lot since getting with him?” one top comment reads. Another user came to the couple’s defense. “The comment section shows why so many people are single… too much judgment placed on how shit ‘Looks’ and superstition..somebody said ‘omg he looks like he’s aging her’ like wdf… smh bro this generation low key cooked,” they wrote.

As for the domestic violence case, Majors has maintained his innocence for over a year despite the courts finding him guilty of two misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment. In the wake of the verdict, he lost numerous acting roles and other business dealings. In April, he was sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program. The victim in that case, Grace Jabbari, further sued Majors for defamation in March, as a response to him maintaining his innocence before and after the verdict. In the lawsuit, she mentions other claims of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and malicious prosecution.

Jonathan Majors will avoid jail time after being convicted of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment, last December. The disgraced former Marvel actor appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday for his sentencing. Instead of prison, he’ll have to partake in a 52-week domestic violence intervention program that will take place in person in Los Angeles. The prosecution asked for a six-month jail alternative if he fails to complete the program.
Additionally, Majors will have to continue mental health counseling and therapy while providing the court with updates on treatment. His attorney requested that he be able to take all of the sessions virtually. “We are optimistic that Mr. Majors will work in the film industry again soon,” they said. The Judge countered that the matter could be reconsidered if he starts landing roles again.

At the sentencing, Majors’ former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, whom he was convicted of assaulting, read a victim impact statement. “He’s not sorry. He has not accepted responsibility, and he will do this again. He will hurt other women. This is a man who believes he’s above the law,” Jabbari told the court. “I will not rest until I feel that he’s not a danger to anyone else.” Majors did not make a statement because, as his attorney put it, Jabbari would “attempt to use it against him in her civil case.”
Majors was joined in court on Monday by his girlfriend, Meagan Good. She was by his side during the initial trial. Be on the lookout for further updates on Jonathan Majors on HotNewHipHop.
Meagan Good was joined by her controversial boyfriend, Jonathan Majors, on the red carpet of the NAACP Image Awards. During the event, Good spoke with People, highlighting the “peace” and “joy” in her heart during the relationship.
“I’m in love, I’m transitioning, I’m healing, I’m growing. I’m getting excited about what’s next,” Good said. “Yeah, just a lot of things at once. But what I can say is, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”
Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good recently stepped out for a rare public appearance at the AAFCA Special Achievement Honorees Luncheon in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 3). Moreover, when Extra TV asked them how their relationship was holding up, the former said that they’re “in love” as his answer, whereas the latter remarked, “We’re doing great; God is good” as they laughed and thanked the reporter for their answer. This follows the actor breaking his silence on his harassment and assault convictions in early January of this year. As such, many fans reacted wildly to this on Twitter, either in support of the couple or skeptically referencing his situation.
“The industry snatched his appeal right along with his freedom to star in any more movies…” one fan posited concerning Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good on Twitter. Another added, “I’m really happy for them,” whereas a user expressed pessimism over their future together. “Well now that his career is over let’s see how long g she stays ‘in love,’” they shared on the social media platform. Whatever side you fall on here, it will be interesting to see how their public image continues to evolve and grow.
Jonathan Majors & Meagan Good Speak On Their Relationship: Watch
Unfortunately for them, when it comes to this matter, it seems like there will be some tough obstacles to be accountable for. For example, two of Jonathan Majors’ former partners recently came forward with new allegations of abuse, physical and emotional, against him. Apparently, their testimonies previously appeared in a Rolling Stone article about the initial explosions of accusations against him. But in a new interview with The New York Times, both women went public with their stories and doubled down on them.
Meanwhile, the Creed III entertainer is keeping his religious faith amid his guilty verdict and using it to forge a path forward. At least, that’s how he recently explained his situation to a TMZ paparazzi who caught up with him back in January. No matter how this couple chooses to handle the situation moving forward, it will be a tough road that they seem committed to traveling together. Per several outlets including TMZ and PEOPLE, Jonathan Majors and Megan Good have reportedly moved in together following an LA to New York road trip with a brief Texas detour. Despite Majors’ guilty verdict in his assault trial and other news that broke about the actor this week, the couple is still “very much in love”, according to one source. The pair share a three-month-old puppy. However, this comes as more allegations break about Majors’ alleged behavior on the set of Lovecraft Country.
Meanwhile, a judge has delayed Majors’ sentencing after the actor’s legal team filed to dismiss his guilty verdict. Majors’ team argued that the actor had not been given a fair trial. The argument is based on the premise that the prosecution had portrayed the actor’s assault on his ex-girlfriend as intentional before eventually asking the jury to consider his actions “reckless”. As a result, the presiding judge has continued Majors’ case until early April.
Jonathan Majors Faces New Allegations From Two Ex-Girlfriends
Elsewhere, Two women, Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, have gone public with allegations of physical and emotional abuse against Majors. Both women had their allegations referred to in a Rolling Stone exposé about Majors last year. However, the pair have since publicly reiterated their claims in an interview with The New York Times. Duncan claims that Majors “threw her across the room” and “threatened to make sure she couldn’t have children” during a fight in 2016. Meanwhile, Hooper called Majors “deeply controlling” and told her she was “not allowed to speak with anyone about the relationship”. Majors has denied the accusations. However, his attorney noted that the actor was “deeply embarrassed by some of his jealous behavior”. Both women had previously declined to speak directly to Rolling Stone, with one citing a fear of retribution.
The testimony of Duncan and Hooper follows semi-public claims from another woman, who spoke to The Cut under a pseudonym. “Anna” told the publication that she had pulled her story from the Rolling Stone article after receiving a threatening letter warning her not to go public with her allegations. According to “Anna”, the phone number included with the letter was linked to the law firm retained by Majors for his criminal trial last year. Majors’ attorney denied any involvement from her or her firm in the letter.
Last month, Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex, Grace Jabbari. Amid the longwinded trial, audio was played in the courtroom of one of their spats. During the disagreement, Majors demanded that Jabbari be more like Coretta Scott King or Michelle Obama.
Following the verdict, the California-born actor sat down with ABC‘s Linsey Davis for his first post-conviction interview. During the interview, he praised his current partner Meagan Good for standing by him amid the legal battle, once again mentioning the late activist, who was married to Martin Luther King Jr. “She’s an angel,” he said of Good. “She’s held me down like a Coretta. I’m so blessed to have her.” This seemingly got the attention of MLK and Coretta’s daughter, Dr. Bernice King, who appeared to call him out on social media earlier this week.
“My mother wasn’t a prop,” she wrote. While it’s clear that Dr. Bernice King didn’t appreciate the reference, it doesn’t look like Majors minds. He recently came to his own defense amid the debacle, noting how much of an inspiration Coretta Scott King is. During a recent chat with TMZ, he called her “a great woman, a very important figure in American and world history, and someone both Meagan and I are inspired by and deeply admire.”
Elsewhere in his ABC interview, Majors also revealed that he believed the evidence presented was in his favor, describing being “shocked” to hear the verdict. “I’m standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, ‘How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?” he recalled. “This has been very, very, very hard, and very difficult, and confusing in many ways.” What do you think of Jonathan Majors coming to his own defense after comparing Meagan Good to Coretta Scott King? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
Jonathan Majors has an affinity for Coretta Scott King. The disgraced actor has used her name when describing his mates’ behavior, or lack thereof.
Previously, Majors stated his ex-lover, Grace Jabbari, should act more like King or Michelle Obama as he is a great man. During his Good Morning America interview, Majors revealed his new bae, Meagan Good, is his “Coretta.”
After backlash online and from Dr. Bernice King, the daughter of Dr. King and Coretta Scott King, Majors released a statement to TMZ:
“My intention was to convey the utmost respect for Coretta Scott King, her achievements, and both her personal legacy and the one she shares with her husband, Dr. Martin Luther King.”

He added that Coretta Scott King is “a great woman, a very important figure in American and world history, and someone both Meagan and I are inspired by and deeply admire.”
Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good’s relationship is reportedly growing stronger amid the former’s ongoing assault trial. Sources close to the couple told TMZ that Good is also struggling to deal with the trial. They say it was difficult for her to listen on while accuser Grace Jabbari described their abusive relationship in court.
In particular, Good is apparently most upset with the text exchanges the alleged victim continues to resurface. She feels Jabbari was manipulative and controlling with Majors. Altogether, the situation is reportedly strengthening her connection with the Creed III actor.

As for Jabbari’s testimony, she claimed that there’s another, more violent, side of Majors. “His face kind of changes when he gets into that place,” Jabbari told the jury. “He’s a big guy so you just want to step back.” Describing her mental state at the time of the relationship, she recalled: “I felt I was existing in his world. Emotionally and physically, all these ways. I didn’t feel my autonomy. I had low self-esteem, I lost weight, I felt unconfident. I felt really dependent on him. He was the only one who knew what went on. I found it hard to [see my family and friends]. I felt I was lying to them.”
Meagan Good has been by Majors’ side throughout the trial in recent weeks. The case stems from Majors’ arrest for allegedly attacking Jabbari in New York on March 25 during a cab ride. He has pleaded not guilty and instead claims the alleged victim was the aggressor in their relationship. Be on the lookout for further updates on Jonathan Majors’ assault trial on HotNewHipHop.
