On Saturday (November 18) evening, Rih stepped out in an all-black ensemble, which only brought even more attention to her recently lightened hair. After years of staying on the dark side, the Barbadian is transitioning back to blonde, which perhaps could be a preview of what’s to come from this next era of her creative career. Always known for her epic accessories, Rihanna elevated her sporty chic outfit with a flashy silver ankle watch from Jacob & Co., costing a reported $400K, according to DailyMail.

Rih has long been collaborating with Jacob & Co., even wearing a $670K watch as a choker around her next for Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton runway presentation in the summer.

That same weekend, the father of one closed out his It’s All a Blur tour in Toronto with 21 Sav, marking yet another major milestone in his career. Drake’s first week sales numbers revealed that he had the seventh largest day in Spotify history thanks to his hard work, which he’s celebrating with a flashy new piece of jewelry.

For his latest piece of ice, the 36-year-old collaborated with jeweller Nadine Ghosn, who custom-made the piece for him. When showing the dog bone chain off to her Instagram followers, she revealed that it includes 18-carat gold, along with 50 carats of white diamonds and six pretty carats of pink.

As Complex notes, this isn’t the only chain we’ve seen Champagne Papi flaunting this month. Ahead of his birthday, Drake also had Alex Moss make him the “Crown Jewel of Toronto,” which boasts a diamond-encrusted figure of his hometown’s famous CN Tower. “A project with my brother for ending it in the 6 and dropping on the 6th in the 6,” the Scorpion rapper wrote on IG while flexing his cool new addition. “We call it the crown jewel @alexmoss. Any team that wins a chip we bring this straight to you for the whole off-season,” he encouraged his athlete friends who play in the 6ix.

Now that Drake has finally delivered on For All The Dogs, the next album hip-hop heads can’t wait to tap into is J. Cole’s upcoming project. The first month of her son’s life has been emotionally exhausting for Rock. Still, she’s obviously still found time to hit the gym. On her Instagram Story this past weekend, the “Vibe” hitmaker proudly showed off how quickly she’s snapped back to her athletic form.

“Sick pack coming back,” she wrote over the clip of her shaking her thighs and flaunting her toned stomach for the camera. “I’m determined,” the former athlete declared. Despite everything she’s been through over the past few weeks, Rock looked genuinely happy in the post – likely because she’s settling into the home she recently purchased for her and Junior. “I got a surround throughout my entire house, including the basketball court,” she tweeted on Sunday (October 1). “The [more] I keep learning bout the house the happier it makes me.”

Since the live-action Barbie movie was first announced, the inner child of adults all across the globe has been buzzing with excitement. Amy Schumer was first cast in the prestigious role. After she stepped down, it went to Australian starlet Margot Robbie, who was undoubtedly the perfect choice for the part. Of course, many other women also play the part of Barbie, including Issa Rae and Dua Lipa. As for the male lead, Canadian actor Ryan Gosling covered that flawlessly, even with the internet expressing concern that he was too old.

Greta Gerwig was the mastermind in Barbie‘s director chair, following her work on projects like Little Women and Lady Bird. It was an ambitious project, but thanks to her efforts, the 40-year-old is now the first female filmmaker to join the billion-dollar box office club with their solo work. As TMZ notes, Jennifer Lee and Anna Boden are both already in the category (for Frozen and Captain Marvel respectively), but their co-director status makes Gerwig’s standalone effort marks a noteworthy accolade for her resume.

Barbie is One of a Kind

As for solo female directors who come behind Greta in line, Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman brought in a considerably lower $412M during its time in theatres. Following that is Betty Thomas’ Alvin and the Chipmunks ($219M), Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight ($192M), and Elizabeth Banks’ Pitch Perfect 2 ($184M). There are no clear plans for a Barbie sequel at this time, though Mattel has expressed interest in creating a full cinematic universe with other toys, including Barney, Polly Pocket, and Magic 8 Ball.

Seeing as Barbie brought in over $155M in its opening weekend alone, we’re not surprised to see the pink-filled film continuing to do numbers. Instead, the 23-year-old has been repeating her usual pattern of beefing with Blueface online. For the past few weeks, the California native has been busy making music with Jaidyn Alexis, all the while bashing Rock in various capacities. Earlier today (July 27), Blue threw out a subliminal diss aimed at his second baby mama, tweeting, “Life is so much better now my b**ch listen fr .”

Just a few minutes later, he added, “House clean, laundry done, breakfast ready. This more my speed fr.” As you may recall, it was only a few months ago when Blueface publicly called Chrisean out for neglecting to clean their dirty clothes, despite the fact that she’s been hard at work carrying his child. It seems those comments may have gotten under the 23-year-old’s skin, as she hit back at her ex with a cutting tweet of her own.

ASAP Rocky Dons Stacks On Stacks Of Gold Chains While Filming Video With Locals In Barbados

There’s been a clear maturing in ASAP Rocky since he assumed the role of a father last May. Both he and Rihanna have acknowledged this growth, as have fans who are glad to see the East Coast icon looking happier than ever before. While he’s been on daddy duty, new music arrivals from Rocky have been few and far between, though listeners are holding out hope that he’ll drop something noteworthy on us in the near future. On Friday (June 30), we got unofficial confirmation that something is in the works. The lyricist was out in Barbados, mingling with locals while apparently filming a music video.

In one clip making rounds online, Rocky wears countless cold chains stacked around his neck over a white tee. Around him, a group of men excitedly cheer, looking somewhat similar to the ASAP Mob star (minus the bling). This could be intentional, as we previously saw him sprinting through Paris in Timbs in a crowd of men, also dressed in a similar fashion to him at the time.

Pharrell Wins Paris Fashion Week With His $1M Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag

Paris Fashion Week has seen many of the biggest names in hip-hop take over France in style this month. Of course, none of them are doing it quite like Pharrell. The Virginia-born creative was actually one of the main events earlier in the week as he made his debut as the menswear designer of Louis Vuitton on June 20. As expected, the collection has been receiving rave reviews so far. However, internet trolls are comparing some of the looks to Minecraft characters due to their pixel patterning.

In the days since proudly unveiling his first collection, Pharrell has been spotted supporting various other designers at their runways. His longtime friend Nigo impressed with his work at the Kenzo show. As High Snobiety notes, he’s also been photographed at Junya Watanabe and Dior’s presentation. The producer’s wife, Helen Lasichanh, was by his side (cooly dressed and looking naturally radiant), and his eldest son, Rocket Williams, joined them to see Kim Jones’ latest work.

It’s been nicknamed the “Millionaire” bag, and has such a hefty price tag because it’s “cut from crocodile leather and affixed with both a chunky gold chain and diamond padlock, all handmade in one of LV’s fairly young leather ateliers.”
