Death Grips Walk Off Stage After Being Pelted With Glow Sticks

Death Grips is an experimental hip-hop group that is known for its wild songwriting and unorthodox instrumentals. Overall, the group is legendary for what it did during the 2010s. However, they haven’t dropped a single project since 2019’s “Year Of The Snitch.” Regardless, the band is currently touring, and fans have been excited to see them in action. Unfortunately, a lot of fans do not know hot to act. There have been plenty of fan incidents at concerts over the last year. Although this latest example is particularly worrisome.

In the video below, posted to Twitter, you can see MC Ride of Death Grips being pelted with objects. From glowsticks to phones, some of these objects even hit him square in the chest. Ride was understandably upset about this, and subsequently, the entire group ended the show early. According to USA Today, there is currently a Reddit thread in which numerous fans revealed what they saw at the show.

“Someone threw a phone at them and Ride threw the mic on the ground and walked off and back,” a user wrote. “Someone threw a glowstick that hit him in the chest and he walked off, back and waiting for more. Another glowstick was thrown and they left. Fair is fair.” Another person spoke on MC Ride’s reactions, saying he was “clearly angry every time that happened so idk why folks kept doing it.” Needless to say, some people need to be taught concert etiquette before going out in public.

Hopefully, this entire thing makes people reconsider their actions. Furthermore, we hope this doesn’t discourage Death Grips from making a fully-fledged comeback. The Saturday Night Live stage is an iconic one in pop culture, whether for its famous performances, massive stars, or the celebrities that introduce them onto it. Moreover, for the sketch comedy show’s season premiere on Saturday (October 14), they went all-out to create a pretty big moment to kick things off. Pete Davidson hosted the whole affair, marking his hilarious, poignant, and shot-taking return to SNL. Not only that, but none other than Taylor Swift was the one to introduce the episode’s performer to the stage. With one of her biggest hits and her newest one, Ice Spice rocked the legendary TV show to the core.

Of course, once fans heard this news a couple of weeks back, they went absolutely ballistic at this prospect. The Bronx rapper is having arguably the most dominant and definitive 2023 of the whole game, at the very least for rising artists. In fact, it’s a stretch to say that she’s even an up-and-comer right now; she basically made it to the top. Regardless of that whole debate, Ice Spice still came through to impress, and ran through “In Ha Mood” with her trademark confidence.

In addition, the 23-year-old also debuted her newest single, “Pretty Girl” with Rema, who she brought onstage to join her. The song takes some Afrobeats and dancehall inspirations, as well as a Jersey kick pattern, to create a pretty genre-fusing cut. Of course, a lot of that consideration is thanks to Rema, whose gorgeous voice and flow inject a lot of personality into the rap diva’s already charismatic verses.

Drake’s Son Adonis Delivers Inspired Performance At His Birthday Party: Watch

Drake and his son Adonis have become a dynamic duo of sorts, in recent years. Overall, Adonis has been getting a lot of screen time these days. Whenever the megastar pulls up to a Raptors game, Adonis is right there with him. Furthermore, Drizzy allowed his son’s artwork to be the cover of For All The Dogs. Fans felt this to be extremely endearing, and we would have to agree. Not to mention, Adonis also had a freestyle on one of the tracks which subsequently led to fans debating his bars.

Last night, Drake decided to release the freestyle in its entirety. The track is simply called “My Man” and it contains some funny lines. At six years old, Adonis is definitely in his “kids say the darndest things” era. That definitely shines throughout his freestyle, although he has the potential to blossom into a megastar, just like his father. In fact, Adonis loves to perform. We know this because of the video below, in which the 6-year-old can be seen performing at his birthday party.

Adonis can be seen up on stage with a bunch of his friends. Moreover, there are plenty of people in the crowd as he raps along to the beat. Ultimately, he should feel that way. His son is doing great things, and the fans continue to love it.

Getting pregnant just as your career as rising to heights previously unseen isn’t an ideal situation for most women. Nevertheless, Sexyy Red seems more than happy to have a bun in the oven. Just a few days ago, the “Pound Town” hitmaker and SZA posed for photos together (following their collab with Drake on “Rich Baby Daddy”) to announce that the redhead is currently expecting her second child. The internet was unsure just how serious the news was at first, but after seeing her on stage last night (October 14), various concert attendees and their videos confirmed that Sexyy has a budding baby bump coming out on her belly.

On Sunday (October 15), the redhead trolled her Twitter followers with a recent interview clip in which she shamelessly hinted at being pregnant. “You pregnant?” she was asked in the video below before replying, “I might be” and putting her finger to her lips in a “hush-hush” motion. Obviously, Sexyy’s situation could only stay on the down low for so long before she began showing through her sultry performance outfits and party looks.

Elsewhere on social media, the 25-year-old reposted some impressive footage captured during her latest performance. Today (October 10), the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards will be airing after filming took place in Atlanta last week. We got a look at what some of our favourite stars wore on the red carpet already, but when it comes to what went down inside, there’s still much to be seen on the small screen this evening. Fat Joe was tapped to host the annual ceremony, and ahead of its premiere, he spoke with PEOPLE about the artist he desperately wanted to see perform, but unfortunately couldn’t secure.

“You know who I didn’t successfully get was Will Smith,” the Terror Squad lyricist confessed, revealing that his hope was to have the actor do a hip-hop 50 tribute. “I was really trying to get Will Smith to come out and do ‘Summer Time’. He’s filming ‘Bad Boys,’ but we tried. We try to pull off a miracle if we can. We try to pull a cloud out of the sky,” Joe additionally noted.

As for what viewers can expect to see, increased confidence from the 53-year-old is on the list. This marks his second year MCing the event, which he’s long been preparing for. “I always think back to being in junior high and doing the talent shows and then Apollo Theater Amateur Night and it all leads to this. And so it’s an honour for me,” Joe revealed. He also shared that we’ll see a total of eight outfit changes throughout the evening in an attempt to keep up with the notoriously stylish women of rap.

He may not have been able to come through for the annual BET Hip Hop Awards, but that doesn’t mean Will Smith isn’t still bringing new contributions to the genre. After a lot of teasing, secret fashion shows, wild fits, leaked footage, and so much more, it looks like we might be getting a big finale to Kanye West’s rollout for his new album (or albums?). Moreover, according to a report from an Italian news site, he’s planning a massive concert in Reggio Emilia, Italy for next Friday (October 13). However, the report states that if the team needs more time, then the show might take place the following Friday (October 20). Of course, this report is highly speculative and is based on a theory from venue activity, but it all seems pretty reasonable considering who we’re working with.

For example, staff at the Rcf Arena is hard at work setting up a grand stage for what rumors say is a last-minute performance. The details of this work haven’t been confirmed by anyone, least of all the Chicago rapper himself. Still, the massive preparations, short-notice timing, and the size of the venue itself hints at only a big name like Kanye West being able to pull it off. In addition, there’s already a lot of speculation surrounding new music- and antics- from him that’s ramped up considerably over the past few weeks.

Gunna’s comeback this year has been a wild ride to witness, as it seems the narrative has shifted considerably. A big part of this renaissance now was revealed at this show, as he brought out Afrobeats artist Victor Thompson for the concert. They performed his hit “This Year” together, and that’s when Wunna unveiled his secret weapon.

Turns out that he’s remixing “This Year,” and he gave fans a preview of what to expect from it soon. All in all, reactions to Gunna’s performance online were overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the vocal efforts and chemistry between these artists. Aside from those notable names, tens of thousands of locals also crowded into the concert. As TMZ reports, some of them weren’t afraid to throw hands when it came time for the famous “mute challenge.”

Doja Cat’s Victoria’s Secret World Tour Performance Includes “Ouchies” Live Debut

Famous lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret was nearly cancelled due to fatphobic comments made by those at the head of the company several years ago. They’ve since gone through some major changes just in time to reintroduce their annual fashion show to the world before 2023 ends. The event itself actually took place on September 6, as PopSugar notes. Models like Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, and Julia Fox were all tapped to strut down the runway. VS also recruited an impressive roster of performers, such as Doechii and Doja Cat.

From what we saw of the latter walking the red carpet, she looked as confident as ever. However, she later revealed on Instagram that the dress she wore was incredibly uncomfortable, and even left her feeling “manhandled.” Thankfully, when it was time for Doja to take the stage and showcase some songs from her Scarlet LP, she changed into different looks that allowed her to move with ease.

“Ouchies” was one of the titles the blonde beauty picked to debut live at the World Tour. “I don’t need another hit ’cause it’s useless, really / I ain’t lookin’ good? Elsewhere, the “Say So” singer brought her previously released “Attention” single to life. For that, she switched up her outfit in favour of a bold, red look with smokey, black eyeshadow. “Talk your s**t about me, I can easily disprove it, it’s stupid / You follow me, but you don’t really care about the music,” Doja raps on that song.

Jaidyn Alexis Performs At Blueface’s Show, Female Patrons Start A Fight

It’s not uncommon to hear about Blueface being caught up in situations involving physical violence, so we’re not exactly surprised to hear about what unfolded at his most recent live performance. On Friday (September 22), the father of three took to the stage in Los Angeles, where women watching on in the audience found themselves throwing hands at each other. It’s unclear what exactly started the spat to begin with, though a video captured shows several women yelling at one another as security attempts to de-escalate the situation.

Things got particularly intense as the screaming women were trying to make their way back into the venue with little success. “Girls are wild, bruh,” a male voice declared from behind the camera after we see Blue grinning from ear to ear. Perhaps this was their attempt at auditioning for one of the “Thotiana” rapper’s controversial reality shows, but it certainly didn’t work in their favour last night.

Surprisingly, Chrisean Rock wasn’t in attendance with her Cr*zy In Love co-star’s son. Instead, the California native brought out Jaidyn Alexis (despite her publicly dissing him earlier this week) to perform one of her first three singles alongside a troupe of salacious dancers.

Many members of the crowd were shining their flashlights on the “Stewie” artist and filming her big stage debut. Blue posted several clips on his own Instagram, making it clear that he doesn’t want any bad blood with either of his children’s mothers. “Rock will make it next time,” he later explained. “She had a serious matter to attend to. We are all MILF Music as far as I’m concerned, they both my artists.”
