Tyler The Creator Reacts To Azealia Banks Shipping Him & Lil Nas X

Azealia Banks is perhaps the most notoriously opinionated person on the Internet in the music space, which can lead to mixed results. Sometimes, her rants are right on the money, whereas other expressions leave everyone either scratching their heads or clapping back with retorts. We’ll let you decide where the rapper’s most recent statement on Tyler The Creator and Lil Nas X fall on that spectrum. Moreover, she recently took to Instagram to express her belief that they should be a “power couple” and stop looking for a love life with white partners, elaborating on the matter in quite the unfiltered way.

“I really think Tyler the creator and lil nas x should get over their obsession with broke white bussy and become a power couple,” Azealia Banks shared. “I think the sensationalism of successful black gay men toting trailer a** rent man hookers as arm candy is played , predictable and and [sic] they’re both obviously being objectified and plotted on by these boys for hire. It would be way more monumental to see to [sic] young black gay men as an item. Even just for aesthetic reasons. The idea of spending the extra hardly earned black male dollars on some cheap white buss is extra whack.”

Azealia Banks Explains Why These Two Rap Stars Should Be A “Power Couple”

As Azealia Banks’ rant continued in the caption, she said that they would shift culture and that Tyler, The Creator could “teach Lil Nas X how to rap so he can stop doing his Azealia Banks impression.” She also offered a list of people that Nas should collaborate with, blasted white creative directors, slandered Arca for some reason, and said that the industry celebrates child sex traffickers rather than actual talent. As you can see above, it was all pretty loaded. But Tyler had a comically simple response to all this in Banks’ post’s comments section: “lmfao what the hell.”

Tyler The Creator’s Response

Meanwhile, this is all kind of ironic because of a viral clip of Jerrod Carmichael explaining how the IGOR creative bluntly rejected his romantic advances as Tyler laughed. Do you think Nas will also respond, and does she have a point here? However you may feel, drop your thoughts down in the comments section below. Boosie Badazz Thinks Lil Nas X Is “Going To Hell” In New Clap-Back To “J CHRIST”

While other artists start their rollouts little by little, Lil Nas X’s new single “J CHRIST” proves that he always kicks it off by front-loading all the controversy. Moreover, his song and music video prompted a lot of backlash for his depictions, treatments, and overall references of Jesus Christ and the Christian religion as a whole. This was from devout believers, atheists, members of other creeds, and regular folks alike, with just as many people from all these groups and more seeing no problem with it. But one God-fearing man in the rap game took particular issue with this move: Boosie Badazz.

THIS ‘Whatever’ IS SO DISRESPECTFUL ITS SAD SMH,” he expressed on social media about the song and music video on Friday (Januay 12). Three days later, Boosie is back with a little bit more to say, and it seems to relate to Lil Nas X’s statements responding to all the backlash and uproarious debate about his art. “HE LYING HE KNOW WHAT HE DOING!!” he expressed in an Instagram comment, presumably on a post covering Nas’ responses. “I BET HE WOULDNT DO THIS TO JEWS [100 emoji] HES GOING TO HELL.”

Boosie Keeps Going At Lil Nas X

As for those responses, this is what the MONTERO creative had to say to Boosie (indirectly) and a whole lot of other people. “I wanted to not necessarily apologize but I wanted to explain where my head’s at and where it’s been for the past week,” Lil Nas X expressed on social media. “First of all, when I did the artwork I knew there would be some upset people or whatnot, simply because religion is a very sensitive topic for a lot of people. But I also didn’t mean to mock. This wasn’t a ‘f**k you’ to you people, ‘f**k you to the Christians.’ It was not that. It was literally me saying, ‘Oh, I’m back like Jesus,’ that was the whole thing.

“Anything I do related to religion could be seen as mockery,” he continued. “That was not the case with this. I will say with the communion video, with me eating the crackers and juice, I thought that video was going to be the video to lighten the mood. I thought that was something we all wanted to do as kids, but I didn’t understand the reality of what it is. It’s me eating the communion, which is the symbolism of Jesus’ blood and bones or something like that, I don’t remember completely. I didn’t mean it as a cannibalism thing or whatever the freak… I do apologize for that, I will say I am sorry for that.” For more on Lil Nas X and Boosie Badazz, stick around on HNHH.

Lil Nas X Corrects Article Who Mistook His Mother In Graphic Fashion

With a tour documentary shortly on the way, it seems like Lil Nas X is gearing up for something big in 2024. However, all the media coverage and updates haven’t been perfect, especially when it comes to other outlets trying to bite off more than they could chew. Moreover, the MONTERO star recently called out some “fake news” that emerged online concerning the identity of his mother. If you’re a longtime fan, you know that the wider public still doesn’t really know who she is, and it seems like he definitely wants to keep it that way, at least for now.

“y’all just be creating people,” Lil Nas X expressed on Twitter on Thursday night (January 4). “cuz who the hell is shawnita hathaway I did not come out that lady p***y.” For those unaware, this refers to a since-deleted piece that PEOPLE wrote on his parents that mistakenly identified his mother as Shawnita Hathaway. You can find an archived version of the article here, which claims that they split when the “INDUSTRY BABY” artist was five years old and that his father, Robert Stafford, gained full custody of him when he was nine.

Lil Nas X Blasts Misinformed Reports About Mother’s Identity

“I never really talk about my mom,” Lil Nas X had previously told Vanity Fair. “She’s [addicted], so we don’t have the closest relationship. Even trying to get her better– things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love… The biggest surprise of becoming globally famous? On the outside, everybody loves you– but on the inside, everything [feels] the same.” “I hate speaking on my personal life,” he said on Twitter shortly after this revelation. “but y’all n***as don’t know how many nights I’ve cried myself to sleep feeling guilty because nothing i tried would help my mom. paint me as the bad guy all you want, but at the end of the day, you don’t know me outside of this internet s**t.”

“Despite what people say @lilnasx is the greatest kid a parent can be BLESSED with,” the Georgia native’s father added online. “Although his mom is in a struggle with an addiction she’s STILL a QUEEN and he goes through great lengths to make sure we’re taking care of. Those who have family members and friends dealing with addiction understands that there ain’t enough money you can throw at this situation to make it right. I dont usually address personal issues publicly but felt like this need to be.” For more news and the latest updates on Lil Nas X, check back in with HNHH.

Lil Nas X Remixes Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU”: Listen

Pink Friday 2 is here, and there are a lot of artists that are feeling more like Barbz these days as a result. Moreover, many fellow rappers and musicians in other genres came forward to show their love to Nicki Minaj’s latest album. The most recent addition in that vein actually came in the form of a new remix. Furthermore, Lil Nas X recently took to social media, particularly Instagram, to share his remix of the track “FTCU,” which includes a brag-heavy, boisterous, and bombastic new verse from him. He comes off with a lot of charisma and with some funny bars and references, whether it’s proclaiming his Nicki standom or pulling together some punchlines with Doja Cat song titles.

Not only that, but this is very interesting given the Georgia artist’s recent switch-up into his self-proclaimed “Christian era.” As is unfortunately usual for him, he faced a lot of backlash as a result, but also some surprising support from a leader in the Christian rap space, Lecrae. Hopefully this means that Lil Nas X wasn’t deterred from expressing himself in whatever way he saw fit. Who knows, maybe other future remixes of his will also take on this religious slant.

“FTCU” Remix By Lil Nas X: Listen

What we wouldn’t bet on, though, is for the MONTERO superstar to cook up more remixes of the Trinidadian MC. For those unaware, Lil Nas X and Nicki Minaj have a complicated relationship, although they’ve never been too close to one another to begin with. Rather, their bond stems from his aforementioned love of her and her music, which became a hot topic in the headlines at one point. Following some apparently rejected collabs and some fanbase clashing, we’d remain pretty skeptical of the idea that they could eventually come together.

However, we’d love to be proven wrong, as they are too talented of a duo to pass up on. It’s nowhere near the level of cold war that the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” hitmaker has with Cardi B, but it’s still a touchy subject. Do you think that Nas Maraj will eventually get to work with his Queen? Let us know down in the comments section below. In addition, keep checking in with HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Lil Nas X and Nicki Minaj.

Lil Nas X’s Tampon Halloween Costume Gets Backlash, Has This Bold Response To Haters

Just like every other year, 2023 held plenty of absurdly viral, talked-about, and controversial Halloween costumes in the celebrity world. However, none seemed to garner as much negative or positive attention than Lil Nas X’s choice to dress up as a bloody tampon connected by a string to a huge, fake… well, you know. Moreover, he got a lot of flack for this fit due to its lewd or explicit nature, what many interpreted as a comical treatment of a real health product, or portraying a negative view of women. If you’ve heard the Georgia native’s music in any capacity, you know he’s not about any of that, and he took to Twitter on Wednesday (November 1) to make this clear.

“I been silent for nearly 2 years,” Lil Nas X expressed on the social media platform. Then, he made a bold claim about people not actually being angry about the costume and just overblowing their reaction. “Y’all are not finna pretend to be mad about a tampon costume. Let me at least get new music out first.” Overall, the MONTERO star isn’t buying the backlash coming from prudes, and doesn’t even think he has the space in pop culture right now to warrant such an overreaction.

Lil Nas X Defends His Tampon Costume: Read

In more ways than one, he is quite justified in his defense and emotions, particularly about his silence. It’s been a couple of years of relatively low-key movement for Lil Nas X, mostly comprising of shows, promo opportunities, and popping out for other celebrities. Still, it seems like that might change very soon due to very unfortunate circumstances. After someone called in a bomb threat at his new documentary’s premiere, he hit the studio after feeling inspired by it.

Meanwhile, that claim comes from the film Long Live Montero‘s co-director, Carlos López Estrada. Considering this response to the tampon costume, it shouldn’t be all too surprising of a revelation for fans. Hopefully he can let go of some of the clapbacks and stay silently but defiantly focused on himself, his career, and his own dreams and desires. For more news and the latest updates on Lil Nas X, stick around on HNHH.

Lil Nas X Pokes Fun At People Complaining About Target’s Pride Month Products

When Target unveiled its new line of harmless Pride Month products, right-wing bigots everywhere threw a hissy fit to no one’s surprise, as if the company was forcing everyone to buy them at gunpoint. Even more unsurprising, somehow, was Lil Nas X’s humorous satire of the whole ordeal. Moreover, the superstar took to Twitter to let out a parody tweet imitating the backlash to people complaining about “the rainbow agenda” and “the woke mob” and what have you. Unfortunately, right-wing threats actually prompted the store to pull back on its campaign. Maybe they should take a page out of Montero’s book and see it for the ridiculous bawling that it is.

“Can’t believe target is supporting this nonsense” Lil Nas X tweeted. “I’m never shopping there again, my son is not “too cool for school” these shirts are ridiculous. He is going to school and he WILL learn.” Of course, this is far from the first time that the Georgia native made fun of overblown LGBTQIA+ backlash. Recently, he clapped back at Woah Vicky claiming that he’s faking his sexuality by referring to her as Ja Rule.

However, that’s not to imply that the “STAR WALKIN’” rapper and singer never faced some pushback of his own for seemingly insensitive comments. Last March, he tweeted: “where do the gays be in africa i wanna come there.” It’s unclear what intent he had in relaying such message, considering that Uganda had just passed destructive anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation that poses a serious threat to the community. Perhaps Lil Nas X wanted to invite people to express themselves regardless rather than blindly wondering where he could find them. No matter how you look at it, the message certainly didn’t land.

Meanwhile, that’s just one instance among many others where the 24-year-old championed freedom of sexuality. As such, it’s much easier for fans to take tweets like his Target parody with a healthier and more inclusive light, unless you’re one of the ones offended by it. Hopefully in the future he can make that distinction as clearly as he made it with this tweet rather than potentially underplay the issues communities face across the globe. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Nas X.

Lil Nas X Stuns In Raunchy Playboy-Inspired Birthday Photoshoot

Happy belated birthday to Lil Nas X, who turned 24 on Easter Sunday, of all days, on April 9. As a means to celebrate the occasion, it looks like he set up a Playboy-inspired photoshoot that’s as crisp as it is raunchy- and unreleased. Moreover, he didn’t actually give all the pictures of this shoot away. The cover, though, features the MONTERO star in heels, bunny ears, and no clothes, with just the silk sheets of the bed he’s laying on (which is strewn with old Playboy magazines) to cover him up. Furthermore, the header reads “Battyboy,” which is a slur aimed at gay men in Jamaican patois that he seems to have reclaimed as his own.

“Hbd thee batty boy,” the now 24-year-old wrote as his caption. Other pictures in his slideshow include him looking excitedly at one of his fake covers, hinting at even raunchier stuff featured in the photoshoot. Not only that, but it’s a specific reference to the publication’s Cover Girls cover back in January of 1986. Whenever Lil Nas X fights back against bigoted individuals with his statements, he always does his homework.

Lil Nas X Celebrates Birthday With Playboy-Inspired Photoshoot

However, that’s not to say that his actions can’t result in some significant backlash. For example, he recently drew the ire of many on social media after he tweeted out that he wants to meet more gay men in Africa. The reason why people expressed outrage is because he expressed that shortly after Uganda passed sweeping anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation that threatens the community. As such, people thought that it was a little too close for comfort, and they were unable to identify if Lil Nas X knew what he was doing when he tweeted that. Still, many concluded that it was just unfortunate coincidence, and he hasn’t responded to that concern as of writing this article.

Meanwhile, the “INDUSTRY BABY” hitmaker recently shared some reflections on his love life while on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. “I used to use Raya,” he expressed of the celebrity dating app. “I think I stopped using Raya… It just like, fell off for me and I just started to meet people in person. And Raya is just very famous, everyone’s famous on there. I’ve met quite a few famous guys. I think I’ve come to know that I don’t like dating famous people.” Regardless of your take on that and his photoshoot, return to HNHH for the latest on Lil Nas X.

50 Cent Jokingly Dissed By Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X just jokingly dissed 50 Cent on Twitter, and responses clapped back so much that he muted the conversation. Moreover, he responded to a tweet with a cheeky and jesting message (in typical fashion), delivered briefly to his audience of 8 million followers. Furthermore, the tweet in question was a picture of both 50 and Nas X, basically comparing “rappers then” to “rappers now.” Not only that, but the user who posted the meme-like comparison said they saw it as a downfall for the genre. Then, the “INDUSTRY BABY” responded with a light jab at 50, but one that clearly aimed more at people who take offense to his claims that he’s better.

“This is not fair youre comparing a legend who has changed music forever to 50 cent,” he wrote. At the time of writing this article, the Queens legend hasn’t addressed or responded to either of these messages. Shortly after publishing them, though, the MONTERO rapper posted a screenshot of him muting the conversation for that tweet. As such, he probably got too much hate in his comments section and decided this time to just ignore it rather than clap back at it with a funny tweet like he usually does.

Lil Nas X Throws Some Funny Shade At 50 Cent

All that said, to see 50 respond to the Georgia-born artist would be interesting, to say the least, as he could go ay direction with it. Much like the “In Da Club” rapper himself, Nas X also likes to stir the pot and cause a ruckus online for his words and takes. However, some of that behavior turned damaging earlier this week. Moreover, his tweet about “gays in Africa” caught a lot of fire, primarily because it came soon after sweeping anti-LGBTQIA+ laws passed in Uganda.

With that in mind, if this actually becomes a feud and doesn’t land as the joke it is, things might get ugly. After all, 50’s no stranger to controversy himself, and has a fanbase as passionate and as numerous as Lil Nas X’s to this day. Sure, many could debate that last point either way, but they really do represent two different sides of hip-hop. Hopefully they remember that just because they’re not the same doesn’t mean they have to oppose each other. Or at the very least, they can make some good meme-worthy content out of this. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Nas X and 50 Cent.

Lil Nas X Criticized For Tweet About “Gays” In Africa

Lil Nas X recently faced a lot of criticism on social media after he tweeted: “where do the gays be in africa i wanna come there.” Moreover, this is not like his typical funny tweets, like ones responding to claims that he’s fake gay. Rather, this message has a particularly difficult context, as Uganda just passed brutal and discriminatory anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation. Furthermore, simply identifying as anything other than straight male or straight female could land citizens in prison for ten years. In fact, it’s one of the most sweeping and damaging anti-gay laws in the world, and many are criticizing the MONTERO artist for his comment.

However, this isn’t the first time in recent memory that Nas X caught himself in hot water. For example, he recently apologized for making a joke about gender transitions on Twitter, where he posted a picture of him in a more feminine look. While backlash was swift, his apology also angered many as he seemed to respond out of anger to critics. “Apologies to the trans community,” he wrote before telling someone unhappy with his apology to “eat [his] a**.” “I def handled that situation with anger instead of considering why it was not cool. much love to you guys. sorry.”

Lil Nas X’s Inflammatory Tweet About “Gays” In Africa

Still, regardless of that spat, this tweet points to a timelier and much more dangerous issue of LGBTQIA+ discrimination across a whole country. Not only could citizens face for ten years for their identity, but citizens face imprisonment for life or even a death sentence for non-heterosexual acts of intimacy and “aggravated homosexuality.” As someone who typically champions and defends the community, many expressed disappointment in Lil Nas X’s comment.

Meanwhile, it’s unclear if that tweet was in response to said legislation or if the “INDUSTRY BABY” is unaware of the tweet’s unfortunate timing. In any case, he has yet to respond to these criticism as of writing this article. Also, this heat comes just days after his Lollapalooza performance, where he played unreleased music and seemed to have a good time. Hopefully, he can clear up his intentions with this tweet and avoid putting his foot in his mouth in the future. If not, it will be hard for many fans to see him on stage. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Nas X.
