Frank Ocean & Rosalía Song “Changes” Leaks Online

A collaboration between Frank Ocean and Rosalía leaked online, Monday night. The track, which is reportedly titled, “Changes,” hit the internet with a music video as well. The Frank Ocean Updates fan page on Twitter claims the director of the music video, Hidji Films, is responsible for the leak. He allegedly tried to sell a copy of the project despite already being paid.

It’s unclear whether the song is intended to be part of a larger roll-out for a new album from either artist; however, some fans have noticed that Ocean wears the same slippers in the music video that he wore for Coachella. During his set at the iconic music festival, Ocean teased that a new album is on the way.

“It’s been so long. Everybody talks about how long it’s been. ‘It’s been so long, it’s been so long.’ But I have missed you,” Frank told the audience between songs. “I want to talk about why I’m here, because it’s not because of a new album. It’s because — not that there’s not a new album… but there’s not right now. Chill, chill, chill. No, it’s not right now.”

Unfortunately for fans of Frank Ocean, the set didn’t exactly go off without a hitch. He was forced to end the show early due to local curfew restrictions after showing up an hour after his scheduled start time. The event also wasn’t live-streamed and when a fan attempted to edit together videos from the audience to make a concert film, Coachella hit him with a cease-and-desist. After backlash to the performance, Ocean dropped out of the festival’s second weekend citing a leg injury sustained during rehearsals. “It was chaotic,” he said in a statement. “There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”

Playboi Carti Producer Explains How Leaks Ruined Album Release

Playboi Carti is someone who likes to tease new albums and then pull out at the last second. Overall, this has led to a whole lot of despair amongst his fanbase. For the most part, people are kind of fed up with not getting new Carti music. The last time we got an album from the artist was back in 2020 with Whole Lotta Red. Subsequently, fans have been hoping for a new release. Months ago, we were supposed to get one with Narcissist, however, it never came. Since that time, numerous leaks have hit the internet.

In fact, these leaks have largely been blamed for Playboi Carti and his constant album delays. Although, fans do not seem to care about Carti’s cyber security. They want to listen to music, and they will go to any means to make it happen. For instance, some fans took their comments to one of Carti’s producers, F1lthy. The producer was recently streaming some video games when one fan asked for answers in regard to what Carti is doing right now. As F1lthy explains, a lot of supporters fumbled the bag by being too curious.

Playboi Carti Had Plans To Drop Something

Essentially, as F1lthy reveals, Playboi Carti did have an album that he was planning to drop. However, the leakers ended up ruining it for people. As a result, Carti decided to scrap the album and start all over again. Overall, this is something that happened during the lead-up to Whole Lotta Red. Now, fans will have to reckon with it all over again. It is disappointing news, however, it is par for the course at this point. The message is clear. If you want new Carti music, stop paying attention to leaks.

Hopefully, Playboi Carti finishes up his album soon and provides fans with what they so desperately want to hear. It has been so long since Carti dropped new music that the fans are starved. Let us know your expectations for the artist’s future project, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Vince Staples Voices Frustration Over The Alchemist’s EP Leak

Vince Staples has reacted to the news that his unreleased EP with The Alchemist was leaked last week. In a post on Twitter, he seemed to imply that the iconic producer was responsible for the leak.

“Leaking means you’re tweaking,” he wrote alongside a photo of Michael Jackson with the caption, “You raggedy bitch.” Staples first revealed that he had worked with The Alchemist on a number of songs back in July 2021 during an interview with Apple Music‘s Ebro Darden. He explained that he recorded numerous verses for a collaborative project with Earl Sweatshirt but that The Alchemist was holding things up.

“Alchemist had hit me, he was like, ‘I want this project. Me, you and Earl. I only need three weeks,’” Vince explained. “I’m like, ‘Alright, I’ll do it.’ So we go over there, and they get high. So I’m the only one over there rapping and I don’t smoke, so it didn’t really blend. I was getting headaches. So next thing I know I got 30 verses on 30 beats… I thought we was collaborating. Whatever, boom. I got 10 songs, I’m like, ‘Alright man, we finna put these songs out.’ Alchemist moves at a very cryptic pace, you know, he’s hella slow.”

Alchemist later fired back at Staples on Twitter. “Vince is full of shit. Ive have a finished 6 song EP with JUST HIM for over 3 months!!” he wrote at the time. “MIXED! Plus mad songs with him and Thebe.” From there, it appeared that the songs would never be released.

As for official music from the “Norf Norf” rapper, Staples released his last project, Ramona Park Broke My Heart, in April 2022. The project was met with acclaim from both fans and critics alike, and according to Brian B. Dot Miller, JAY-Z even labeled Staples “one of the smartest, most creative” rappers after hearing it.

DJ Dahi Slams Kendrick Lamar Leakers

One of Kendrick Lamar’s most frequent collaborators, DJ Dahi, recently slammed leakers who put some of his demos on Spotify. The “Morale Pack,” as it’s titled on the platform, is a set of three new leaks from the Compton MC. Moreover, many thought that they were leftovers from his fifth studio album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. However, the legendary producer set some things straight on his Instagram story.

““Why are y’all leaking s**t from 4 years ago???” he wrote on Thursday (January 19). “We didn’t even bounce those records out. These kdot records are strictly demos. Y’all are really dying of thirst out here lol.” Maybe they should ask Kendrick to sing about them.

Jokes aside, leak culture caused a lot of discourse in the 2010s, and continues to hamper projects and releases today. Readers may remember the highly-anticipated state of Whole Lotta Red, when many of Playboi Carti’s songs leaked before he could drop the album. However, this is a pretty different case, as the leaked material is about four years old according to Dahi.

Still, for being four-year-old leaks, these new Kendrick tracks aren’t half bad. Moreover, they contain some interesting overlap with a few Mr. Morale cuts. When it comes to flows, certain lyrics and verses, themes, instrumental choices, and delivery, it appears to be in a similar headspace. In fact, completed tracks like “Purple Hearts,” “Silent Hill,” “Count Me Out,” and Baby Keem’s “vent” are the end results of many of these leaks’ ideas.

Even then, that’s just a theory or small observation, because who knows what else Dahi and Kendrick have in the vault. Mr. Morale was Spotify’s most successful rap album of 2022, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see more great material from these sessions. Despite our highest hopes, K-Dot is likely in another phase of his legendary career, but here’s hoping for some more untitled unmastered. tracks in the future.

Regardless, what do you think of DJ Dahi cracking down on leakers who put unreleased Kendrick tracks on Spotify? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest news regarding hip-hop’s greatest talents.

Kendrick Lamar “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” Leaks Surface On Spotify

One of 2022’s best albums is still giving us great new songs to bump… kind of. New Kendrick Lamar leaks, seemingly recorded during the making of Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, surfaced on Spotify. Moreover, they appeared in a playlist titled “Morale Pack” from user Marozy. Previously, the user leaked versions of Kanye West’s “City in the Sky” and “Mr. Miyagi.”

Surprisingly, those songs are still available on Spotify, and time will tell if the Kendrick leaks stay as well. Furthermore, the three new tracks are titled “Pure,” “Make Me Happy,” and “Computer Love,” respectively. Given similar lyrical references, flows, and themes, these songs sound like they came out of Mr. Morale’s headspace. What’s more is that Baby Keem’s influence is also pretty apparent in these cuts.

Moreover, Keem’s track “vent” originally leaked with a more developed Kendrick verse, which appears in part on “Pure” and on “cocoa.” Also, the new leak was reportedly produced by Pharrell.

Meanwhile, “Make Me Happy” features some lines from “Purple Hearts,” like “Crown on Bob Marley, wrist on Yo Gotti.” Interestingly, “Computer Love” features a lustful refrain and an old-school beat courtesy of the sample, a 1986 Zapp track of the same name. Even though the “HUMBLE.” star’s fifth LP set a high bar, these leaks step up to that caliber.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers sent shockwaves through the game in more ways than one, being Spotify’s most popular rap album of 2022. In addition to the heap of critical acclaim the album’s already amassed, the Grammys nominated it for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album this year. As such, it’s no surprise that its leaks are still pretty good tracks. Much like To Pimp A Butterfly and the following untitled unmastered. demos, maybe we’ll soon see a collection of B-sides from the Compton MC.

Regardless, what did you think of Kendrick Lamar’s leaks on Spotify? Are you still hungry for more from the Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers sessions? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for the week’s new releases.

Kendrick Lamar Leaks From “To Pimp A Butterfly” Album Make Rounds Online

Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers undeniably became one of the most successful albums released in 2022. Even with all the new tracks he provided his fans this year, though, the Compton native has still fallen victim to a leak.

As HipHopNMore reports, a handful of titles from his To Pimp A Butterfly era have surfaced online. The father of two is no stranger to antics like this. In early 2018, a selection of his Kanye West collaborations made rounds across the internet. That same year, songs made with artists like SZA and Jay Rock also unexpectedly showed up.

2019 was when fans heard several random records of Lamar’s from 2009 without his consent. Finally, in 2020 he fell victim once again, although some of those leaks did end up on his 2022 album in one capacity or another.

On Sunday (December 11) the culprits struck again, sharing some throwaway titles from the DAMN. rapper’s 2015 album. Firstly, we have “Falsehood.” The groovy song consists of three verses, the last of which we previously heard on the album version of “i.”

As our source notes, the track features a bar seemingly written for Dr. Dre to record. Instead, Kung-Fu Kenny gives us his best impression of the “Still D.R.E.” hitmaker.

Another surprisingly surfaced title is “Organized Madness.” Far less orthodox in nature, it boasts an appearance from Thundercat at the end. Close listeners will notice that some of the lyrics from the unused song were reworked into “Complexion.”

In other news, it was revealed at the end of November that K-Dot is due to headline 2023’s Primavera Sound Festival. If audiences are lucky, he just may perform some of these random new arrivals during his time on stage.

Check out the recently surfaced Kendrick Lamar leaks here. Afterward, let us know which one of the songs is your favourite in the comments.
