Joe Budden Denies Jaguar Wright’s Claims About Him And Stevie J

Jaguar Wright spent a lot of time as of late launching salacious and outrageous allegations against many hip-hop and media elites in the industry. Whether it’s Diddy, Jay-Z, or the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, she ruffled a lot of feathers as of late… At least, more than she usually does. One of the singer’s most odd claims in the eyes of a certain rapper-podcaster is that she allegedly saw a supposed video of music producer Stevie J having sex with Joe Budden. On his titular podcast, the Slaughterhouse MC and media personality responded to these allegations.

“No, she is grabbing the salacious and very obvious headlines and expounding on them with s**t,” Joe Budden began. “And again, I’m only saying this ’cause I heard her say out of her mouth that she saw a video of Stevie J and Joe Budden f***ing. So I know, I know, I can say with 100% certainty, oh, that this lady just be saying s**t to add to the luster of whatever the f**k she’s saying.” Then, Ice joked that maybe Joe just didn’t know that there was a camera in the room, although he clarified that it was just a joke amid the podcast cohosts’ laughter. “I’ve never been in any compromising situation. I’ve never been in any situation where someone tried to overtake – that’s never happened to me,” Budden replied.

Joe Budden Responds To Jaguar Wright

As far as actual smoke, Joe Budden isn’t focused on Jaguar Wright, but rather on DDG due to a recent online spat. But this might heal soon. “I like you a little bit,” Budden said during a recent podcast episode. “The same way I don’t know s**t about him, he clearly don’t know s**t about me. So, do I want to come in here and use my powers for evil and f***ing just end this n***a for sending all these bots my way?”

Meanwhile, Jaguar Wright’s latest media rift was with DJ Vlad, who claimed that she lied about an interview request. “Jaguar Wright recently did an interview where she showed an email claiming we contacted her for an interview,” Vlad tweeted. “This is false. Only emails from @vladtv.com are invitations to the show. This is why she’s covering the email address. Like I said in the Piers Morgan panel, Jaguar Wright has never been invited to do an interview, and she never will be. This is someone who seems to be suffering from mental illness. Anyone who interviews her is taking advantage of a mentally disabled person for views.”

Joe Budden Slightly Changes His Tune On DDG: “I Like You A Little Bit”

DDG’s breakup with Halle Bailey stirred up some discourse online, and especially on The Joe Budden Network. The Pontiac, Michigan rapper and content creator broke the news on social media, saying, “We believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared…. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support.”

Budden pretty much disregarded the breakup letter and sort of went off on DDG. “Who the f*** is DDG and why am I supposed to care about his thoughts on anything?” That led to a heated reply, “Pump it up went gold after 20 years u old b****.Budden would then clap back, “Every time I see his name, it’s attached to hers, and it’s typically in some clout chaser fashion. So that makes me look at him a different way, and hopefully, I get to look at him a lot less now that they’ve broken up.”

Joe Budden Has A Change Of Heart About DDG

Now, though, the podcast host seems to be having a slight change of heart about his younger foe. On the latest episode, Budden addressed the recent back-and-forth and says that he’s been doing “research,” according to AllHipHop. After doing this, he now has some more respect for him. “I like you a little bit.” He says that they share some similarities in terms of pursuing music and content creation, as well as dealing with criticism for breakups. “The same way I don’t know s*** about him, he clearly don’t know s*** about me. So, do I want to come in here and use my powers for evil and f***ing just end this n**** for sending all these bots my way,” Budden said.

What are your thoughts on Joe Budden changing his mind about DDG? Do you think these two will eventually collab? Or do you think the Michigan native will have a negative response to this? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Joe Budden and DDG. Joe Budden Argues Drake Is Too Sensitive After Unfollowing LeBron James And DeMar DeRozan

Joe Budden’s podcast co-host, Ish, came to the defense of Drake as the show debated the fairness of the Toronto rapper allegedly unfollowing LeBron James, DeMar DeRozan, and more. The conversation began with Budden theorizing that Drake may not be a great friend if so many of his associates are turning their backs on him. Ish countered by arguing that he’s justified in being mad at the group as they’ve all supported Kendrick Lamar in recent months.

“If you beefing with a n***a and you my man and I love you and you beefing with another n***a that is my man and I love, one I’m gonna try to mend the relationship and mediate as best as I can. If I see that it’s outside of mediation, I’m gonna remove myself from that particular situation. I’m not gonna be in the n***a video. I’ma just chill the f*ck out,” Ish argued. Joe noted that the lack of respect might have begun on Drake’s part as well.

In addition to unfollowing several people on social media, Drake also recently reflected on dealing with fake friends during a speech at Tyrone Edwards’ Nostalgia Party, over the weekend. “My real friends are definitely in the building,” he said at the event. “But let me tell you that you’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were friends, people you thought were close to you switch up. They might try to move funny with you, they might stab you in the back. They might do a lot of things to you. You’ll come to that realization, wherever you’re at in life. You’ve probably been there and you’ll be there again. That’s how life is. Sometimes it’s you and you alone by yourself.”

Joe Budden Claims He Has A Better Mixtape Discography Than Lil Wayne & 50 Cent

There is no doubt that mixtapes are still a great indicator of a rapper’s success and mystique. Even though websites like DatPiff aren’t as hot as they once were, there was a certain magic to that period in hip-hop. So many artists were able to build incredible discographies on platforms like that, and some of theirs are even considered classics. Speaking of the latter, that was a topic up for debate on the most recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. Overall, the entire panel had different answers to who they felt had the best discography of mixtapes.

Some of the usual MCs like Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa, and Fabolous came up in the debate. However, right at the top of the discussion, Joe Budden immediately said crowned himself the king of these sorts of projects. “Oh, that’s easy, me,” the former rapper said. At first, no one really paid any attention to their host. All of those other names that we mentioned were thrown out there way before Budden’s name would eventually come into play.

Joe Budden Is Confident He’s Got Better Material Than Wayne & Fif

It’s not too much of a surprise that he would say such a thing, as he tends to come across as a prideful guy. But still, it’s a pretty hot take. Shockingly, though, one of the co-hosts had one that rivaled Budden’s, as he said he feels Wayne had too many misses in his mixtape catalog, essentially disqualifying him from being the G.O.A.T. in this case. Toward the end of the clip, Budden did sort of change his stance on the matter, saying that he couldn’t really rank in order of who has the greatest run of tapes. Overall, though, his name did make into the best of the best with Jeezy, Fab, Wayne, and 50.

What are your thoughts on Joe Budden claiming he’s got a better mixtape catalog than Lil Wayne and 50 Cent? Do you agree or disagree with his hot take? Who do you think has the best discography in that case? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Joe Budden. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

DDG Slams Joe Budden After He Jokingly Claimed To Be ‘Happy’ About The Rapper’s Split From Halle Bailey

Whether you know him as a YouTube prankster or humorous rapper, Uproxx cover star DDG doesn’t find anything funny about his split from Halle Bailey. On October 3, the “Way Too Petty” musician announced that after two years together, he and Bailey had officially broken up and would “remain best friends” as they raise their son, Halo.

While many fans still question the validity of DDG’s announcement, given his past antics, Joe Budden expressed his excitement about the news. So, yesterday (October 5), DDG took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam the rapper-turned-podcaster.

“‘Pump It Up’ went gold after 20 years u old b*tch,” he wrote. “Joe Budden, I’m on u 🫵🏽.”

He continued, writing: “N**** got 30 years MAX of life left and speaking on a relationship of people the same age as your son you ain’t take care of. I hope u forget to take your magnesium pills today u old b*tch, Joe Budden 🫵🏽.”

DDG also sent a message out to other men with negative opinions about him. “I don’t be tripping bout the girls saying sh*t cuz I’m used to it,” he wrote. “It’s all love. But you n****s wit platforms gonna get a response fasho.”

So, what did Joe Budden said to earn such a fiery response from DDG. During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast (viewable here), he joked about being happy for the split so he won’t see DDG’s name anymore. Read Joe Budden’s commentary below.

The question to my distinguished panel is a question that I’ve been asking myself for quite some time. Who the f*ck is DDG? And why am I supposed to care about his thoughts on anything?… I’m very happy that they have broken up so I don’t have to keep seeing this n****s’ name attached to this girl’s name when I don’t know his for nothing as the standalone. And for me, it’s important to know people based on their own name, merit, and what they have done. I don’t even know enough about her. Like, I’m not her demo either. But every time I see his name, it’s attached to hers, and it is typically in some type of clout chaser fashion. So, that makes me look at him a different way. And hopefully I get to look at him a lot less now that they’ve broken up.

Joe Budden Celebrates The Rumored Cancelation Of Lil Yachty’s Podcast

Lil Yachty has seemingly gone from one drama to the next in 2024. The rapper formerly known for his fun-loving attitude and friendship with Drake has become a headline grabber. First, there was the whole situation in which he announced he won’t be doing interviews anymore because of the way the internet reacted to his comments. Then, there was the Karrahbooo situation (read more about it here). Now, it’s Lil Yachty’s podcast, A Safe Place. And Joe Budden is loving all of it.

Lil Yachty has been co-hosting A Safe Place Podcast since June 2023. There have been several notable rappers who have appeared, but it appears as though the pod’s days are numbered. Yachty’s consistent co-host, MitchGoneMad, tweeted out that he’s going to be needing a new job. “Currently practicing my putting the fries in the bag technique will update you soon,” he wrote. When asked when a new episode is coming out, he responded: “Ngl i think bro rolling up that podcast in a backwood as we speak.” Joe Budden has been watching all of this unfold, and he decided to celebrate the news on his podcast.

Joe Budden Played ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ On His Pod

Budden and the rest of his team read Mitch’s tweets, then decided to flex their podcasting muscle. They threw on the Queen song “Another One Bites the Dust,” as a means of celebrating the end of the Lil Yachty podcast experiment. “I know what he said,” Joe Budden noted in regard to Mitch’s tweets. “Hell is about to break loose!” Anybody who has a working knowledge of Budden and Lil Yachty know that there is no love lost between them. If anything, they have disliking each other from afar for nearly a decade.

Joe Budden went nuclear on Lil Yachty during a 2017 episode of Everyday Struggle. He got seethingly angry over the notion that Boat was young and just wanted to have fun. Memes ensued, and it remains one of the most iconic pieces of hip hop media in the 2010s. The tension hasn’t died down, though. Lil Yachty claimed that he would “smoke” Budden if they were to rap on a song together during Budden’s appearance on, you guessed it, A Safe Place Podcast. “If you give me one of them Metroid beats,” the podcaster joked. “Then you will have the better verse.” Well, guess Joe got the last laugh.

Drake Unfollows LeBron James And Kendrick Lamar On Instagram

Drake decided to clean house on October 1. The OVO co-founder was following lots of notable rappers and celebrities on Instagram, despite their seeming willingness to clown him. LeBron James was at the Kendrick Lamar “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. He was also caught on camera talking about how much he liked Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss. It seemed like Drake finally pulled the trigger on axing King James from his circle. He unfollowed the NBA superstar on Tuesday, along with a host of other big names.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Drake was unfollowing people left and right. He unfollowed Kendrick Lamar, which makes sense to an extent. If anything, it was strange that the 6 God was still following K. Dot after their battle. Drake also unfollowed Metro Boomin, Joe Budden, DeMar DeRozan and Playboi Carti. These all line up with the events of the battle. Metro Boomin started the whole thing with “Like That.” DeRozan danced on stage at the “Pop Out” and made a cameo in the “Not Like Us” video. Joe Budden has always been a vocal critic of the 6 God. The only real head scratcher in the bunch is Playboi Carti. The cult icon has worked with Drake on multiple occasions, including the recent song “No Face.”

Drake Is Still Following Future On Instagram

Drake and Carti appeared to have a solid relationship. The latter was, however, removed from the “No Face” version that landed on streaming. The 6 God’s decision may also stem from the people that Carti is affiliated with. Playboi Carti recently clowned streamer Adin Ross, who appears to have a good bond with Drizzy. He also dropped a massive collab single with The Weeknd, who has been one of Drake’s enemies for over a decade. DJ Akademiks documented these unfollowings on his own Instagram.

Interestingly, one artist involved in the battle was exempt. Despite being on the song that started the beef, “Like That,” Future is still being followed by Drake. Those who have been keeping up with the saga between these two artists know that Drake was particularly hurt by the falling out he had with Pluto. He said as much in the song “Family Matters.” “Pluto sh*t make me sick to my stomach, we ain’t never really been through it,” he raps. “Leland Wayne, he a f*ckin’ lame, so I know he had to be an influence.” Maybe there’s hope for a reconciliation down the line.

Joe Budden Warns Megan Thee Stallion Of Rap Beef & Success In Resurfaced Interview Clip

Megan Thee Stallion has been through a couple of rap-related beefs at this point, whether it’s with Nicki Minaj this year or others. However, it turns out that she already discussed how her success could cause more problems with other artists in a 2019 interview with Joe Budden, a clip of which recently resurfaced. “I don’t have a problem with anybody,” she remarked, with him saying that every new act thinks the same at first. “And I don’t think nobody have a problem with me that I know about, you know what I’m saying? So, you know, if you want me to know that you have a problem with me, you would really have to blatantly be like, ‘Megan Thee Stallion, da da da da da,’ dissing me. ‘Cause I just don’t even be paying attention to negativity. So I would never know who don’t like me at all.”

“That is the same thing that Drake said to me in 2009,” Joe Budden recalled, which is ironic given Drizzy and Megan Thee Stallion’s feud, plus Joe’s own issues with the Toronto superstar. “So I’ma say to you like I said to him. In the event that you sell the records that me and your label and everyone thinks you will sell… They coming.” “If they come, let’s just keep it in the booth, you know? I’m with that,” Megan answered, which really excited Budden. “We got a f***ing rapper on our hands!” he exclaimed.

Megan Thee Stallion Speaks On Rap Beef & Success In Old Joe Budden Interview Clip

“I like to rap, so come on,” Megan Thee Stallion replied. “That’s what you do. It wouldn’t be rap if it wasn’t some type of rap beef. So, you know? I ain’t tripping.” Budden characterized this as “attractive.” “All the new girls that I’m cool with?” she continued. “Like, I try to keep us, you know, all together. We coming up right now, you know what I’m saying? So, come on girl, come meet me. Come hang out. Like, I’m having a party, come through, let’s all get to know each other. Let’s be cool because when the fans see that the girls are being nice to each other, that makes them lessen that drama.

“‘Cause a lot of beef between women gets started because of they fanbases, I feel like,” Megan Thee Stallion concluded. “So you got to just make sure that everybody cool, like, on every end. So your fans won’t get to, like, you know, making little messy stuff about everybody. I just try to make sure, ‘Look, you good? We good? Alright.’ So, you know? And it’s genuine. Everybody that I’ve met so far, actually, we’re really on FaceTime. Like, I got their number, like, everything real cool.” Budden made a point about Megan really “kicking it with people,” and she agreed.

Joe Budden Insists He Has Nothing To Do With Diddy’s “Freak-Off” Parties

Ever since the various allegations against Diddy rolled in last year, some fans have raised their eyebrows at Joe Budden. The rapper and media personality drew some flack for how he covered the situation, whether it was his unabashed assessment of it or retracting some conversations about it. Moreover, the two are linked through Sean Combs’ REVOLT platform, and fans noticed Budden in footage of one of Puff Daddy’s parties. However, it’s unlikely that this footage is from one of the “freak-offs” that the Bad Boy mogul allegedly threw. Regardless, the Slaughterhouse MC doubled down on his staunch denial of any involvement in those supposed events during his podcast’s latest episode published Thursday (September 26).

“For the last time, can y’all take me off the list of names that y’all think is on these tapes?” Joe Budden asked. “Why are y’all so hell-bent on putting n***as on these tapes? […] I ran the jokes long but I thought the joke was a joke because of who I be. Clearly it’s a new crop of people out there that don’t know who I be, so they like, ‘Oh, he might be that.’ I ain’t. No more jokes. Even though I was a force in that world for like three weeks. They was ready to trick. They was offering vacays and Fifth Avenue shopping sprees without even an inch of flirting.”

The Joe Budden Podcast Addresses Diddy’s Arrest

Budden’s denial of his involvement in Diddy’s “freak-offs” begins at around the 1:45-minute mark.

Still, fans also joked that Joe Budden went on vacation the same day that federal officials arrested Diddy. But all this doesn’t mean that Budden isn’t prone to criticizing media coverage of the scandal himself. For example, he recently questioned Yung Miami’s return to her Caresha Please podcast for how she – in his view – downplayed the Bad Boy mogul’s allegations in favor of her City Girls breakup with JT.

“It’s a few of you n***as moseying around out here under the good name of Black excellence and you n***as are living like pieces of s**t,” Joe Budden said of Diddy back in May (unrelated to the Yung Miami take). “This ain’t 20 to 30 years ago. N***a, you not white. You can’t do what them white n***as do and say, ‘Hey I’m checking into rehab,’ and all will be well. You ain’t white and this ain’t 20 or 30 f***ing years ago.”
