Drake Found A Houston Home To Live In When He’s Not In Toronto

Drake’s an international star, which means he can stay pretty much wherever he wants if he’s not in his Toronto home. After all, with all that money and fame, you’d be hard-pressed to find a property of his liking that he wouldn’t pull up to. However, as Drizzy announced during his latest Houston stop of his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage, it seems like he’s found the place he’s been looking for. Moreover, he announced to the crowd that he found a place to stay in Houston, much to their excitement. Under the tutelage of Bun B and a lot of stylistic inspiration in his early days, H-Town has a special place in the 36-year-old’s heart.

“Also, I want to tell you something,” Drake told the crowd, presumably on Monday (September 18) at his second concert in the city in a row. “I’m excited I get to share this with night two. I had to make it official first. I’ve been looking for a long time. Trying to figure out, you know, the right place for me to live where I belong outside of Toronto. I finally, finally, after all these years, found me a place in Houston, Texas. So y’all will be seeing me a lot, yeah!”

What’s more is that this isn’t all the love that Drake had to show to the city during these shows. “They say I’m from Toronto, Canada, but we might have to check the hospital records,” the 6 God cheekily expressed during his concert. “‘Cause y’all show me too much love in the H-Town, I love y’all for real. I got my album coming out for y’all October 6. I know I pushed it back, but it’s for good reason. ‘Cause I’m trying to represent for the H-Town like I always do. Another classic on the way.”

During a recent performance, the Scorpion artist caught sight of one handmade sign from up on stage with a woman revealing how much gruelling work she had to do in order to get her hands on It’s All a Blur passes.

Though he initially said For All The Dogs might land in August, Drake is now promising that October 6 is the official release date for his album. Drake And French Montana Reunite During Houston Tour Stop

The “Splash Brothers” could be back together again. No, not Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, Drake and French Montana who reunited during a stop on the “It’s All A Blur” tour in Houston last night. The tour has been making its way through Texas playing shows in Austin and Dallas, where the rapper met up with Kyle from YouTube prank channel NELK Boys. At the start of the Houston show, Drake walked out with Johnny Manziel who is still a legend for his time quarterbacking at Texas A&M. He’s made a habit of walking out with sports stars throughout the tour. Names like Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum previously popped up.

Now, Drake is reuniting with somebody even more familiar to him. Video is making the rounds online of the rapper embracing French Montana and shouting out his fellow Splash Brother between songs in the show. The pair have collaborated multiple times on songs like “No Stylist” and “No Shopping.” The former has racked up over 400 million streams on Spotify and sits among Montana’s top 5 songs on Spotify. As you’d expect fans online couldn’t help but speculate if there could be new music between the two on the way. Over the weekend Drake and SZA released their first ever collaboration “Slime You Out.” The song sees the pair diving into some familiar territory of sensuality and toxic emotions. The song has only been out for a few days but already racked up an astounding 13.5 million streams on Spotify.

There are still plenty more shows to catch the Her Loss collaborators at before they head back home to relax, and as Drake nears closer to sharing his For All The Dogs album, excitement is only growing stronger.

On Monday (September 11) evening, the “Ratchet Happy Birthday” rapper was showing out in Texas. Patrons were more than pleased to see Champagne Papi recruit yet another NBA star, Kevin Durant, to walk out with him. In one of his breaks between songs, the Toronto superstar remarked how good he feels to be un-cuffed right now.

“I’m so glad I’m single on this tour,” Drake explained to the thousands of fans in attendance. “Because I just don’t have to feel guilty at all. Imagine if I was, like, married or some s**t and girls just hitting me in the face with just t*tty assaults every night and s**t. How would I go and explain that to anybody. For his part, Aubrey Graham wore quilted purple pants under a white tee and a floral denim jacket.
