NBA YoungBoy just sent fans into a frenzy online by announcing his new mixtape Richest Opp, dropping on the same day as Lil Durk’s new album Almost Healed (this Friday, May 12). However, he didn’t stop there. Moreover, he went on a Twitter tirade where he dissed the Chicago MC, DJ Akademiks, Durk’s on-and-off-again partner India Royale, and even dissed his fallen friends. All in all, it was quite the combative and inflammatory set of statements, just when we thought they squashed their beef. Akademiks even responded to the call-out shortly after.
“@lildurk you a b***h & yo nasty a** h*e and it’s shown,” YoungBoy fired off on the social media platform. “And @Akademiks you a pure Fat h*e who mouth gone be the reason you from now on (“invalid”) #RichestOpp.” In separate tweets, he directed fire at Smurk’s deceased colleagues and at his flame. “@lildurk lol you ever realized you only get a buzz when one of your friends die? Of course, it’s not like Lil Durk was particularly responsive to the rumors that he and YB resolved their differences. In fact, now his answer has a lot more context behind it, as many interpreted it as him simply not speaking on it for clout. Furthermore, a reporter caught him on the street and asked him about DJ Akademiks’ claim that they put their issues behind them. “What beef? Who?” he replied calmly to the question. The status of India Royale and Lil Durk’s relationship has left fans confused for some time now. While the social media starlet has dropped several hints about enjoying her life as a single woman on social media, in a recent interview, the Chicago rapper insisted that he and his baby mama have a life-long bond between them. “She always gonna be my girl. We always gonna be together. That’s who I’m dying about right there,” he told XXL earlier this month.
In that same conversation, the “Laugh Now Cry Later” collaborator addressed speculation of him having a baby with another woman during his relationship with Royale. “If you go up there and say you didn’t, they still gonna say you did,” Durk explained of his decision not to address the drama. “As long as the house is the house, the internet can’t change the perspective of nothing. It’s the same with beefing, and that’s the same with trolling. If you respond, you respond,” he added. Since then, the 30-year-old has only doubled down on his claims about his baby mama, sharing a stunning photo of India on his Instagram page this past weekend.

Lil Durk recently donated $350,000 to Howard University in the form of scholarships and grants, and also participated in their 2023 Springfest to give fans and community members a great time. Not only did he directly give the institution $250,000 for grants funds, but he gave $50,000 each to two Chicago students to attend Howard on a scholarship. The beef between Lil Durk and NBA Youngboy appears to have expanded into a Chicago vs. Everybody situation. Last night, YB’s comments regarding Durk’s relationship with India Royale sparked a bevy of tweets from Durk’s otherwise quiet ex-fiancée. Royale snapped after YB chimed in on their issues, delivering a flurry of subliminal tweets before confirming that she’s “talking about dent head,” a comment that 600 Breezy found particularly funny. “Called his lil ass dent head [crying emoji] I love Chicago,” 600 Breezy wrote on Twitter.
Despite India’s humorous take, the mother of one of NBA Youngboy’s children, leaped to YB defense in response to Breezy. “Don’t you got 3 triplets that you don’t take care of?” she wrote. “D*ck riding is at an all time high rn.” And while this could’ve simply been the end of the interaction, Breezy snapped back while bringing up allegations made by YB’s other baby momma, Jania Meshell, who said the Louisiana rapper gave her herpes. “Don’t you got herpes that you don’t take care of. Breakouts are at an all time high too boo,” he quipped.
Shortly after 600 Breezy mentioned NBA Youngboy’s alleged herpes diagnosis, Arcola continued to allege that the Chicago rapper doesn’t take care of his children.
