T-Boz Hospitalized For Abdominal Blockage, Cancels TLC Show In New York
Reports have confirmed that T-Boz of the legendary R&B trio TLC was hospitalized due to severe abdominal pain and has been placed in ICU, forcing the group’s New York concert date to be abruptly canceled.
The group was scheduled to perform in Syracuse, NY, on Friday at the New York State Fair. Still, a half hour before showtime, the fair’s X account reported that TLC’s performance had been canceled due to T-Boz “experiencing symptoms related to food poisoning.”
A press statement shared on T-Boz’s Instagram account stated that the 54-year-old singer was experiencing “sudden and severe nausea, vomiting, and intense abdominal cramps.” The statement also said she was seen by a doctor and taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
“Last evening, Tionne was diagnosed with a severe abdominal blockage, necessitating the cancellation of both the Syracuse and Foxwoods performances,” read the statement. “She remains in the hospital under medical supervision but is expected to be released tomorrow. The doctor verified that this was not food poisoning, but an abdominal blockage.”
TLC’s management also confirmed that T-Boz had to stay at the hospital overnight and underwent a CT scan to determine the severity of her condition.
“TLC is committed to rescheduling the canceled shows and apologizes to all the fans, particularly those who traveled long distances to attend. The group appreciates the understanding and support,” the statement added.
According to their official website, TLC has a full schedule through October, including a concert at the Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois, on August 31.
In 2017, T-Boz penned a memoir called A Sick Life detailing her health issues with sickle cell disease at the apex of TLC.

Meanwhile, DJ Akademiks’ also recently clowned Yung Miami for her alleged involvement in the Diddy scandal and about how she got herself into a bad situation. Cam Newton stepped out with Jasmin Brown on Sunday after his controversial comments on marriage from his Funky Friday podcast with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant went viral. The remarks don’t seem to have bothered Brown, who shared several videos of the two of them dancing at a bar to King George’s, “Keep On Rollin,” on Instagram. Together they sang along to the lyrics: “I can’t have one woman, gotta have three. One woman just to hold me down. One woman just to lift me up. And I gotta at least have one woman on the side. That really don’t give a f**k.”
While speaking with Bryant, the former NFL star revealed that he has eight children with three different women, and is hoping to have more. “A lot of people see my situation and think that I’m not high functioning,” he said before explaining that his “desire to get married” is lower than his “fear of divorce.” In turn, he’s taking his time before committing to anyone for the long haul.

BlakeIANA Is Becoming A Real “Problem” For The Competition On New Single
It seems that 2024 is the year for the women in hip-hop to either reinstate their dominance or break out. In this case, BlakeIANA fits in the latter category and she’s going to a big “Problem” real soon for the rest of her contemporaries. This is her latest single, and according to a press release, it’s a promotional track for her future mixtape. The details on the project are muddy right now, but her reps are saying it will be out sometime this fall. When it does eventually hit streaming platforms later this year, it will become her first LP of any kind. While we don’t have a lot of concrete information, we can assume that a few past singles will also make it onto the final product.
Her first professional release “BING BONG” is also her first hit record. That has to be a lock given its stature in Blake’s early catalog. The remix with fellow Missouri native Sexyy Red could be included as a bonus track, too. Speaking of Sexyy Red, she brought BlakeIANA on for her Sexyy Red 4 President tour, which just kicked off this past weekend. But back to the potentials, you also have the collabs with Moneybagg Yo and Skilla Baby. Additionally, we would assume that “Stl Finest” and “GAHDAMN” will make their way onto this mixtape. If there is one word to describe BlakeIANA’s style, it would be rugged. She has knack for getting real mean and unapologetic on the mic and that’s what she’s doing on “Problem”. Maino Recalls His Ex-Girlfriend Getting Shot During Taxstone Shooting
Maino recently told his side of the story of Taxstone’s shooting, an incident amid a Troy Ave beef which hit the podcaster with a 35-year prison sentence for his role in the incident. During his latest appearance on VladTV with DJ Vlad, the host first clarified some false reports about the New York City rapper playing a role in the shooting. They posited that he actually had nothing to do with it at all, although the MC and Vlad revealed that he does have a personal connection to it. Apparently, his ex-girlfriend was also shot during this incident, and while he didn’t speak on what he saw as a witness to the shooting, he did contextualize his thoughts on the matter.
“I said exactly everything that I said about it already, I don’t want to keep harping on that,” Maino began. “And I don’t want to keep giving life to n***as that I don’t believe even deserve life, you know? Once you work out a deal with the prosecution and get on the stand for your own wrong deeds, to work out a deal with the prosecution and go get on the stand and point your finger at another n***a, it ain’t no me and you. “S**t happens, though, Vlad,” Maino continued. “That’s the thing, like… You know, I come from a world where we’ve had gunplay accidents, right? ‘Cause I see things on the Internet. ‘N***as shot your girl!’ I’m like, ‘What?’ She got hit by mistake, right? When I was 14 years old, I shot my friend in the stomach by mistake. We was playing with the gun, some s**t happened, and then I shot him in the stomach by mistake. I didn’t mean to shoot him.

While Bronny is the son of NBA star LeBron James, Parker is the daughter of the daughter of Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Dondré Whitfield. Outside of the trip to France together and the fact that several members of the James family follow Parker, further details on their relationship are unknown.
At the Paris Olympics, Parker joined Bronny as they watched his father, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant, as well as the rest of Team USA, take home a gold medal.
